A fan of creative writing since four or five years old. I read avidly, and have done since i was two. I watch way too much in terms of crime drama and i idolise the Harry Potter Books. (Even though just about all my favourite characters died!)

I prefer paper to kindle, but can appreciate that if used properly a kindle can open the world of literature up for people who may, due to the intimidating nature of libraries and/or bookshops, not have otherwise entered it.

I teach English. I adore Literature. I live for fiction.

Good Imagery can be orgasmic.

I'm a soft-hearted lover of a good YA novel, a sweet teen romance, and i revel in a dark paranormal/fantasy novel.

I am always craving a good Crime novel to sink my teeth into, and authors including Kathy Reichs, Tess Gerritsen, Karin Slaughter and Patricia Cornwell rule my bookshelves.

When it comes to Tv Rizzoli & Isles, all three CSI, The Bill, NCIS and the New Orleans spin-off, Criminal Minds and others make up the majority of my viewing.

My heart belongs to Merlin, Sherlock, Supernatural and The Walking Dead, amongst others.

I'm also a total sap for Dawson's Creek.

I have a whole armada or two of ships, but the ones who top my list are, in no particular order:

Draco x Harry

(Because Harry bothers to see Draco as a person, and that all their differences are the reasons they work so well.)

Hermione x Ron

(Because they are actually the perfect couple.)

Sirius x Remus (WolfStar)

(Because who doesn't? They balance each other out beautifully, and who understands them better than each other?)

Arthur x Merlin

(Because Merlin is the only one who gets away with sassing Arthur. Plus, Merlin forces Arthur to grow as a person.)

John x Sherlock

(Because Sherlock needs someone grounding him who isn't afraid to follow him into battle.)

Newt x Thomas

(Because Newt is the buoyant hope and Thomas is the driving determination. And they are the epitome of well-matched.)

Lestrade x Mycroft

(Because Mycroft has a soft side and Lestrade takes the time to look inside.)

Gawain x Percival

(Because Percival's calm collectiveness is perfect at balancing out Gawain's roguish mischief.)

Lancelot x Gwen

(Because, again, perfect couple material.)

Joey x Pacey

(Because he makes her laugh, she makes him want to be a better him, and he cares about her so goddamn much.)

(Because my inner child simply *squeee*s, that's why.)

(Because they're so GOD-DAMN CUTE and there's nothing like trauma to bring a couple together.)
