It had been about two hours after that fateful dinner with the Blight family as Luz and Amity were in the latter's bedroom. Luckily, they ran out of fairies for the fairy pie since Hooty ate them all on his way out. So instead, they just had black apple pie which wasn't as bad as Luz thought it would be. Just tasted like regular apples.

Amity was reading a book on crafting Abomination weapons on her bed with Luz resting her head on her girlfriend's leg as she read her Good Witch Azura book.

They hadn't been together for long but the two felt like they had been together for a very long time despite their race differences.

Amity smiled as she started reaching for her girlfriend and started playing with her hair, something that made Luz smile and blush at the same time.

"Be careful with it Blight, you might damage my perfect looks." Luz commented rather flirtatiously, something that made Amity blush tomato red. "Ha, made ya blush."

"Shut up, no you haven't." Amity lied while trying to hide her blush by using her book.

"Yes you were." Luz laughed as she put her book down.

She soon sat up and shuffled up to her girlfriend and got comfortable with her as she tried to read what her girlfriend was reading, which didn't bother Luz's cotton candy haired goddess.

"So, I've been thinking of ship names for us." Luz said.

"Ship?" Amity asked, not understanding what the concept.

"It's something us geeks tend to call fictional characters either in a relationship or characters we wish to be in a relationship." Luz replied. "So, what do you think? Luzity or Amuz?"

"Hmm, maybe that might need working on." Amity responded.

"Yeah, still working on it." Luz responded while messing with her girlfriend's hair. Something that Amity allowed since she thought it felt nice.

But Amity felt some kind of guilt going on inside her and remembered that incident at dinner. "Look, I'm sorry about what happened at dinner." Amity soon said with a frown.

"You think this was the first awkward dinner I've been on?" Luz asked still giving off her enthusiastic attitude. "Boy, if I had a nickel for every time I made a dinner party that ended with me doing something awkward."

"You're talking like it was your fault." Amity commented.

"And you're talking like your Mom's actions are your fault." Luz replied while staring at her girlfriend with a sympathetic expression. "Amity, it's not your fault that your Mom doesn't quite approve of us yet. We got together by ourselves and I'm glad we did. Even though we haven't been together long, moments with you have been the happiest of my life and I hope you're still in those moments."

Amity blushed at her girlfriend's words as she wrapped her arms around her and snuggled up close to her.

They stayed silent just letting the quietness set in with the odd movement which did make some minor noise but not a lot. Then Luz decided to break the silence by asking her girlfriend a question.

"Hey Amity." Luz said.

"Yeah?" Amity responded.

"If this question isn't stupid, how did you fall in love with me?" Luz asked. "I mean, even in the human realm nobody even had a crush on me, not even anyone like me."

Amity pulled a surprised expression as her face started to turn into a cherry red, since she was blushing like mad.

"Well…..I don't know how to put it in words." Amity said. "I mean, it feels like yesterday when I hated you and worried you'd get me into trouble."

"Was it my looks?" Luz asked before posing like a redhead in an iconic teen movie poster, which made Amity chuckle.

"I don't know what made me fall for you." Amity responded. "Maybe it's because you're so enthusiastic and care-free. I don't know, you have such an amazing and loving personality. And you do have amazing looks."

Luz blushed and sat up straight after hearing Amity's words. I mean, Luz swore this was a dream. Back in her world, everybody thought she was too weird and cheesy so they kind of avoided her and made fun of her behind her back. Heck, even romance was a problem for her. Nobody wanted to go out with her. But here at the Boiling Isles, Luz finally found someone.

"Hey Luz." Amity said.

"Yeah?" Luz responded.

Amity turned red, worrying the question might be a bit inappropriate. But she then realised, Luz asked a question similar to her's so she decided to ask it. "What….Made you fall in love with me?"

Luz started to think about what made her fall for her cotton candy haired goddess but the answer was easy for her. "Well, you're cool and….beautiful." Luz then noticed Amity staring at her like she expected more. "Honestly, that's all I had. You…Just snuck your way right into my heart."

Luz's response made Amity blush and gently held Luz by her cheek as she stared right into her hazel eyes. Luz in return, started to turn quite red as she held Amity by the back of her head. It was at this moment that the two simultaneously closed their eyes and started to lean in to share what would become their first kiss.

Their lips were so close that the butterflies started to intensely fly in their stomachs and what could interrupt this moment?

"Achoo!" A loud sneeze that startled the two so badly that they accidentally hit their heads on to each other.

"Ow!" Amity and Luz exclaimed in unison as they saw the culprit. It was Edric, whom was standing by the door with Emira.

"You two!" Amity exclaimed as she rubbed her head.

Emira elbowed her twin brother on the side as she glared at him. "You couldn't have sneezed after they locked lips?!"

"What did you want me to do?" Edric asked. "Tell it to be quiet?"

"You two, we were having a bit of a moment." Luz said with a hint of annoyance in her voice.

"Sorry, please continue." Edric said.

"Yes, do continue my adorable little creations!" Exclaimed the voice of Hooty, who was watching outside through the window.

"Hooty!" Luz exclaimed. "Go home!"

"Sorry, Eda needs you back home!" Hooty explained. "Bye Luz! See you back at the house!" Hooty then slithered away back to the Owl House.

Luz sighed with annoyance but she quickly calmed down and pulled a smile at Amity. "Well, I best be-" Luz was interjected when Amity quickly kissed Luz on the lips. It wasn't one of those long drawn out passionate kisses, it was just a quick simple kiss that silenced Luz and made her blush. While Edric and Emira were smiling with approval.

"Smooth move, sister." Emira said to her blushing sister.

But Luz was still amazed by her first kiss that she was completely frozen as he eyes sparkled like glitter.

"You going yet?" Edric asked Luz. "Because, Mom might be in a grouchier mood if you're here for a little longer."
