The cove where mermaids gathered was located to the southwest of Tokyo Tower. If it were any other day, Char would have enjoyed his trip down the sandy hills, passing the gigantic remains of Decarabia's husk, into a small land of mermaids. However, Pazuzu and his extreme weathers had dampered on the Nahobino's worldly desire.

"Foolishness," Pazuzu said as he raised a windstorm from his back. The wings which flapped on his back smothered everything in a flurry of razor-sharp winds. "Prostrate yourself before my destructive might!"

A smirk appeared on his lion face. As he raised both of his hands higher, he relished in the pleasure of carnage creation. The high which filled his mind as he manipulated and obliterated everything in his paths for his own joy was second to none.

Not soon after, that feeling of pleasure had suddenly turned into shock and disbelief.

"How did my attack not reach you?"

"Force Dampener," Char said. He then raised his hand to the sky, aiming the tip of his finger straight to Pazuzu's chest. "And now, you shall meet your end."

"That is impossible! Mazan!"

This time they connected. The Nahobino before Pazuzu recoiled in pain as the wind stabbed needles all over his body. However, when he saw a woman in white cloak gathering all the winds he released into her stomach, the flying demon instinctively knew that he had met his match.

Fortuna, who had gathered Pazuzu's vile winds, spun it around her wheel-shaped stomach and transformed the harsh storm into a soft breeze. Char's body felt extremely light as he regained his composure with Pixie propping him up from behind and Mermaid pulling him up from the side.

The three girls had their eyes fixated at Pazuzu. It was clear that they had their line of sights locked onto the lion-faced demon.

"Bufu!"

Pixie started her attack first, as she launched a needle of ice straight toward Pazuzu's chest. It happened so fast that Pazuzu had no time to process what happened. Now he had a blade of ice protruding his chest, and it made him aware of his situation.

Following that attack was Mermaid, who called forth a storm of hail from under Pazuzu. The demon's unearthly shriek echoed against the cove behind him. He was now battered and beaten by arrays of glass that cut him like paper.

Without missing a beat, Fortuna casted Tarukaja to Char. It was only just that her partner would end the one that hurted him the most. She had complete faith in his ability to end Pazuzu in one fell swoop, and with her eyes she would see her prophecy fulfilled.

"Bufu!"

If Pixie's ice attack was a blade of ice that she threw at Pazuzu , then Char's own attack was a cannonball made of ice he launched at Pazuzu. It shattered on impact, creating shrapnels that planted themselves deep inside the demon's body. Its agaped mouth, bloodshot eyes, its fingers and limbs which hung by a knot of muscle, and its punctured stomach with a thousand small holes drilled into them.

A chilling reaction spread through his whole body as he felt unbearable numbness that crept all over his body. He saw his body frozen one small section at a time. The life in his whole self turned brittle, as he felt cracks from the end of his fingers.

He dreaded a day like today, where the end had swiftly devoured him along with the wind. His whole body cracked in a flash of clear blue. His crumpled chunks of ice were carried by a gust of zephyr somewhere else.

"Well I'll be damned, don't you think that's a bit too brutal?" Amanozako gasped with fear in her eyes. "This guy's harem members are no joke. He's no slouch when fighting either!"

"Don't we?" The Pixie which led the attack chimed in playfully. "Us Pixies have a knack for finding the strong, you know."

If the eldest member said so, then it must be true. At least that was what Amanozako thought.

Amanozako weighed her options internally.

Maybe it was a blessing in disguise that she managed to befriend the Nahobino.

"What are you standing around for, Amanozako?" Char called for her as he walked inside the cove and approached the vending machine. As two cans of mystically old soda dropped from its internal organ, Char sighed. "Another can of soda again, huh? I hope Gustave isn't bored of buying this."

The hours that passed ever since they traveled together had some sort of rhythm to it. They would travel around where they could with some sort of goal in mind. With the Nahobino hurting in Macca, he wanted to patrol where the vending machines were in the hopes of funding his fusion spree.

On one hand, it felt absolutely pathetic. But Amanozako thought his drive for a new "waifu" as he put it was a bit romantic. If the Nahobino was human, then humans must be a really strange set of creatures.

Continuing on from the request of a certain mermaid in hiding, Char found himself enjoying what was before and around him. At least that was what Amenozako could gather from watching him.

Soon after, they found a Miman somewhere close, behind an unsuspecting formation of rocks and concrete. Not long since then, they went to the southernmost part of the area available for travel. There they found a few more Mimans and a giant statue of what looked to be a gigantic husk of a Chimera.

It was a good haul of shared experience, especially when all of the harem members who followed the Nahobino had screamed in a mix of ecstasy and delight. Only the Nahobino could pull a feat such as that as the Amanozako had observed.

All the while, the Amanozako wondered what the future would have in store for them. Especially when their relationship was only temporary.

After reporting back to the mermaid, Char's eyes lit up at the thought of a "Spring Goddess" somewhere around here.

He really did have a one track mind. That was what Amanozako mused as she happily flew behind Char. It was unknown to her, but a great smile appeared on her face.
