Ch.4: Meetings

"Is he gonna be alright?"

"Yeah, he just fainted"

"Well, I hope he gets up soon! I got a cupcake for him!"

As I woke up from the fainting, I heard a cascade of voices talking. My vision was hazy, and I groaned, going to sit up. Sunset's guiding hand helped me do so. My vision began to clear as I saw the purple dog from earlier on my lap. I blinked but smiled down at him.

"So, I fainted huh?" I asked. Sunset nodded. "You did. I had my friends come over so you could meet them."

As my vision cleared, I looked over to see a human version of Twilight walking over. "Yeah...sorry about that. Its not often you come across a talking dog."

"Not unless he's from Up" I chuckled.

Sunset went to respond, only to be shoved aside as a tomboyish looking girl came over. "So, David" she smirked. "You hit second base with Sunset yet?"

I blushed hard as Sunset shook off the shove, glaring at her. The girl chuckled, keeling over. Sunset continued to glare as the girl took a deep breath.

"Sorry Sunset. I just had to." I then looked at her other friends. I gasped, concluding.

"Sunset... so you know how in Equestria there's the Mane 6? Is this the human six?"

"So, the statue is breaking? How awful" Fluttershy murmured.

The eight of us were sitting around the kitchen table. Me, Sunset, and Twilight on the left side. Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie, and Applejack on the right. Fluttershy and Rarity were on the sides.

Sunset sighed. "Princess Celestia asked me and David to come take a look. Friends, has there been any magic incidents since I've been in Equestria?"

Everyone shook their heads no.

Sunset then turned to me. "I think it would be best if we stayed here for a few days to monitor the statue."

Rarity sighed. "You might want to inform Principal Celestia and Vice Principal Luna about this."

My eyes widened. "Is everyone named the same in both worlds?"

"More Importantly" Rainbow said "We gotta know what kinda threats we may deal with"

Even now, I chuckle at that line. What would be sacrificed to save worlds.

After an hour, I relaxed, letting the hot shower wash away my troubles. Sunset and company had run to go get some breakfast. I smiled. Oh, how I had missed McDonald's.

Exiting the bathroom a few minutes later, my brow furrowed as I heard giggles. My guard up, I headed to the living room, amused by the sight.

Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy were both laying on the couch, their heads right against each other. One look at their red eyes told me what I needed to know.

"So, did I tell you guys of when I stared down a Hydra?" I smirked.

Rainbows eyes widened. "Whoa. Did ya?"

I nodded, sitting in the lazy chair. "I did. Had to battle it with a sword" As I said this, Sunset had snuck in, amused by my yarn. "I had to rescue Sunset, and she let me kiss her when it was done. I even have the Hydra heads as trophies"

"Oh really?" I heard from behind me. I began to sweat nervously as Sunset tipped her head upside down, looking me in the eyes. "Then where's my crown?"

"Wait a minute" Rainbow groaned. "You were faking?"

I was trapped and thought of only one way to get out of this. I kissed Sunset.

"Mmmm" she smiled, breaking it. "So, I got us a meeting with Celestia and Luna at 11. So, we gotta eat and go"

It was now 11:10 that morning. Celestia frowned as we explained the statue.

"The question is...what happens to us if that statue breaks completely?"

Luna sighed. "What happens to the students? Will the same things that happened to Sunset and Juniper happen to others?"

Sunset looked down. "I don't know. I wonder if its my fault. From hopping back and forth so many times."

Sunset then looked surprised as Celestia smiled, taking her hand. "I don't think so. What happened was always meant to. In life, when a challenge comes, it's always important to do those things. To confront those challenges...

Together..."
