My Equestrian Archives-Breaking Dawn
Ch.10: Manipulation
As this moment occurred, Princess Celestia gasped. She was trotting in her Gardens, smiling at the flowers, when she saw the hole in the Sky that showed Pandestria.
"Luna!" she called. Luna gasped as she stared upon the hole. No words were spoken. Luna turned to someone that had joined them. "I want you to go see what caused this to happen."
He nodded. It had been a long time since he fought. But his strength had never wavered.
Midnight blinked.
She had done it. The statue was gone, crushed to ashes. It was done. She stared at the hole that now peered into Equestria. It would be so understandable for her to jump in. But even she knew she could not do alone.
As she pondered this, she frowned. Was this right? She shook those thoughts away and walked into the school.
"Ah, Education" she smiled. She looked around before her tastes craved a drink. She smiled widely as she noticed a Pepsi machine and walked to it, smiling even wider as she noticed the girl purchasing a drink of her own.
Juniper Montage sighed. She had completed college and was going to be a teacher at the school that fall. She had come in to do some paperwork.
"Is that you, Juniper?" she heard. She shivered at she heard the voice, remembering the events of 6 years prior. Slowly, she turned.
"Midnight Sparkle? How?" she questioned.
Midnight smiled. "There were cracks in the statue that allowed me to escape. I just destroyed it.'
Juniper gasped. "Did those cracks cause you to be born? Or me to become a giantess?"
Midnight chuckled. "Yes, they did. And now, Magic will flow into Pandestria. It is fair after all. But I have a proposition" she smiled.
Juniper gulped as Midnight took her hands, squeezing them softly. "Think of it. Me as ruler of both worlds. You as a giantess, being the star of the show."
"Just think about it, will you?"
Juniper nodded quickly. As Midnight released her and turned to the machine, Juniper bolted. She had to warn her former Principal.
10 Minutes later, Midnight stood inside the gymnasium. It was amazing with its soaring ceilings and quantity of bleachers. She imagined herself giving a speech, or even her denizens as she watched.
As she did, her eyes held sadness. It was so lonely. She desperately wanted friendship. But the problem was...
She felt as if she didn't deserve it.
As she thought on this, she heard an impressed laugh behind her. "Impressive on the statue. I too wanted to rule one time. I now come to defend!"
Truly, Tirek would fight.
