Ch.11: Battle Cry
Tirek and Midnight stared at each other on alert. Midnight smirked at the centaur. "So, you are this magic stealer I've heard about"
He nodded, narrowing his eyes. "Yes I am. It sadly doesn't work here. How unfortunate."
Midnight smirked as the two circled each other at half court. Tirek finally let out a roar and began to change. Smirking, Midnight sidestepped him.
Tirek had such a charge that he slid right into the bleachers with a crash, leaving a centaur sized hole in it. Midnight laughed.
"For such a powerful creature, you sure did not follow the first rule of a fight. Never rush your opponent in a hurry."
Tirek sprung up. "I found friendship and departed from my evil ways. But I will destroy you!" he said walking over.
Midnight smirked. "Oh? And how do you plan to do that?" she asked. Tirek smirked and lifted her in the air as Midnight's eyes widened.
Tirek then tossed her in the air, intending to round kick her. As he went to, he felt nothing but air as Midnight disappeared.
Reappearing on top of the bleachers on the right side of the gym, she chuckled down at his reddening face. "Dark magic dear. The difference between me and you is that you are a one trick creature" she said jumping off the bleachers and landing, the gym floor cracking from the impact.
Tirek then charged once more, only to gasp as Midnight raised her hand, levitating him in the air. "I have grown tired of this fight. Give me a better challenge" she declared, dropkicking him.
He screamed as he flew out of the gym, landing on the grass. This did not kill him, but he was knocked out.
Seeing this, A Lunar Princess grew angry. It was time to protect their worlds.
