Yuri's pov

My eyes opened, but everything was blurry and slightly dark. I kept them shut for a second and open again, this time slightly less blurry.

My head felt oddly normal, almost like i just woken up from a long slumber. Soon my vision was getting better as I realize I was in a new place, that's not good.

"huh?"

I lift myself up and looked around, apparently I was behind a counter but I see that the area I was in was large, the lights were on and behind the counter was rows and rows of chairs.

At my curiosity I lift myself off the floor and back on my feet, my body was now having blood flow which was discomforting at first. I looked around in the room, their was indeed many chairs on each end. Behind me was a long white board with markers on the side holder.

At this moment I realized where I'm at, I'm in a classroom, but not just any classroom, but a college classroom.

This confused me.

"what...?"

I turned around and moved forward, my footsteps echoed in the room, I was the only one here.

"how did i...?"

I stop myself, this whole scenario doesn't make any sense, how did i end up in a office building and now ended up in a classroom? I just remembered that car light that was coming towards me, maybe whoever was driving put me here?

I have no clue, but why? I certainly hope it isn't malicious. At this point I have to get out of here, so I moved on down the stage and went up the right side stairs and head to the exit.

I open the door and was in the halls, I looked both ways and each halls was long. I looked forward and it was dark out, the street lights were on, shining down LED lights. But beyond the lights were darkness. I went forward as my steps echo in the halls.

"this isn't good, I can't be in here. I'm, afraid if anyone or something, might find me."

I look down the right hallway and saw a large area that was close, I decided to move on and head to that area. I made it to the area, it was the main entrance, I saw the interior and it looked colorful with red, pink, yellow and orange. Their was a banner that has a W symbol mixed in with an H. It must be this college icon.

I then turned my attention on the doors, I went to it, hoping it will open as I reach and push the door, but sadly it was locked.

"oh, no..."

I backed up, feeling dismay about this as I looked back and went forward while thinking of another way out.

"Colleges always has another way out, but where should I start?"

I looked down to my left and see the long hallway. I figured that more exits are around the college campus so I moved on, hoping to find one that's unlocked.

I walked down the hall, only hearing my footsteps in the halls. I wondered what it will be like, being in college with many other people just like myself. I mean, other people, not like myself but...Nevermind.

It must be nice to be in college, not everyone gets to college, but I also heard is stressful.

I soon reach the end of the hall and the only way is by the right corner, I went down the next hall just glancing around. I looked at the classrooms, and other rooms that were only for teachers.

I then notice another door for the exit on the left side, I went up to it and push it, only it didn't open.

"oh, come on..."

I was getting tense as I looked around but nothing else I could find.

At this point I would give up, I don't want to keep doing this, i'll rather wait until it was day time where somebody will come and let me out. Even it might not work in my favor.

I sigh, I know that I might get in trouble for this, but again I don't know where i'm at, I got to find a different way out.

I continue forward and reach the next corner and saw the stairs going up, I went to the nearest one and went up, how this will help me get out is beyond me.

At this point, I might have to improvise if there's no way out the normal way.

I reach the next floor and looked both ways, I don't know where to go specifically but I decided to go to my left.

I went down the hall and notice it was really dark in this hallway, i remember that i have my flashlight still. I turned it on and went down the hall, I then notice something I didn't want to see.

"*gasp*"

I saw a trail of blood leading to a classroom on the right. I couldn't believe what I'm seeing, this gives me more of a reason to get out while I can.

I walked away from the trail, I wasn't going to investigate what it was, I don't know if it might help, all I know is that it leads to a possible dead person.

I walked for a moment and heard noises upstairs and clanking noise echos.

I stopped, it was right above me as it continues forward. Oh no, i'm not alone, I was getting very anxious at this point as my head couldn't come up with any ideas to go with.

I looked at the nearest classroom and entered as It was a dark class. This wasn't helping me to stay calm, the class was much smaller than the others but still large enough to have 20 people in here.

I decided to go right next to the wall near the doors as I waited. This is not a good idea, but I don't have a choice.

I waited for a couple of seconds and decided to go up to the door and listen. I waited anxiously for noises but I didn't heard anything.

I waited for a little more and thought of this: If I stay here, it might not come, but if I leave now then it could come any second. I was thinking too much about this and it was making me very nervous.

A minute has pass, no noises. I decided to risk it, if i'm unlucky then I run back in here or some other classroom. I leaved the class and was back in the hall, I went right and moved on.

I keep an eye out and also an ear, I do not want to run into whatever it was. I kept moving and notice i'm not making any progress, i'm just walking and hoping to find a way out. And then, it hits me; What if i break through one of the windows? Will that work?

At this point I might try anything as I went back and then heard that noise, the clanking footsteps from above.

It was walking down where i'm facing, I wasn't far from the stairs. I figured that it was going down the stairs as I didn't hesitate to turn around and go down the next hall way on my right.

I glance back seeing if it will go down the stairs, the sounds were close as I went to the nearest classroom and try the door, but it was locked, which made me nearly panic.

"no, no!"

I wiggle it for a moment and quickly ran down the hall and notice another hallway in the middle of this hall. I looked back at the dark hall, starting to see a faint silhouette of something lanky and tall, and I could hear those clanking noises, almost like toenails on the floor.

I ran down the middle hall and was at the middle balcony, I looked down seeing a large area with metal tables and chairs. I didn't sightsee and looked around and ran down the right side and suddenly I heard another footsteps above me, my panicked thoughts were caught on to those steps above. It sounded human.

My conscious went back to reality as I glance back now hearing frantic toenails clicking from a far, and I saw a horrid sight.

It was a large white creature on all fours, i didn't make out too much as I ran fast now breathing in panic motion.

I looked at the rooms and try one coming up to my right and thankfully it opened. I quickly got in and closed the door, I backed away as it went up to the door and started scraping at the door, like a pet wanting to come in.

I stood there, I see is body is malnourished and it is head was upside down, I could see is large mouth with sharp teeth, and also red marks around is mouth almost like is imitating human lips. But one last feature I noticed that it doesn't have eyes, or so it may seems, it kinda looks like it does but not actual eyes.

It continues to scrape the door and walks off, I was afraid if it might figure out how to open doors. I turned around and notice the area was also empty, another large classroom with a large green chalkboard.

I was thankfully safe for now, but I need to figure out how to get out of here. But that footsteps upstair, could that be an actual person? It can't be, what if it's another monster? I can't take the risk.

I went up to the window and listened, I didn't hear any noises. I took this opportunity and went out, I looked both ways and didn't see nothing. I continue nervously and cautiously down the right side, their was no stairs to go down stairs but I did notice another hall on the left side near the right middle halls.

I went to that hall and it wasn't a hall, it turns to another hall and in that middle was a staircase down to the first floor.

I went down the stairs and was now in the cafeteria, I looked around but I didn't see any windows nearby. I have to find another way to break the windows, but I did saw something out of place. A notebook on one of the tables.

I decided to check it out, even know it might be risky, but I took the chance. I went up to it and start reading it, it was a journal about this person time in college.

"it was my last class in literature, I love doing literature but suddenly we got notifications to go back to our dorms and lock the doors."

That was the last thing he or she wrote, I wonder if anyone is still alive, hopefully locked in their rooms. Even still, I doubt they will let anyone in.

I turned away, now curious about those footsteps as i went up the stairs and continue down around the balcony and went up the stairs. But once i reach the top, i heard those clanking noises from a far.

"oh no..."

I saw it from a far, it saw me. i ran the opposite direction as i heard frantic toenails from a far.

I ran through the middle hall and was in the back halls, i ran in my right side down the hall, I try one of the doors but it didn't open, I try another but the same.

"oh crap...!"

I continue running, it was quickly catching up to me as I ran down the hall passing tables on the left side near the windows.

I ran and heard him close, I was getting tired but I didn't stop running, I saw a door slightly open as I ran and went in and closed the door.

I took this moment to regain my breath, It continues to scrape at the door.

"ah geez..."

I backed away and turn around, this room was much smaller than most classrooms.

I then notice a familiar bag, it was a shoulder bag, it was large and brown with nice leather.

I walked up to it and looked inside, it was my bag with my books and even my knife I have during the day where I end up in that building.

I inspect it, it was a 7 inch army combat knife, it looks like a bowie knife. It was black and was really sharp, one of my favorites I have.

I swing it around and looked at it, it seems today I will used it for self defense, as it should of been used.

I grab my bag and put over my right shoulder as it lay on my left side, I held on to my knife and went off to leave this room.

I looked around and didn't see anything, I open the door and was back in the hallways.

I went down the hall on my left and move on, but then I remembered that area with the tables and chairs. I turned back and went around the corner in the hall, I must test my theory out.

I went up to one of the chairs as I put my knife away in my bag. I grab hold of the chair and lift it up by the top handle and walk up to the windows. I can't believe I'm going to vandalize this college windows, but I need to get out of this school.

I prepare to swing sideways and end up tossing the chair at the window as it bounce away and fell on the ground. It bounces near me as i reached defensive in a cowardly way. I stare at the chair for a split second and looked at the window, it only leaved a scratch on the window, not even a dent.

"oh no..."

I felt dismayed, these windows were hard and wasn't going to break easily. I didn't get time to feel sadden until I heard those toenails noises.

"*gasp*"

I looked back and saw it staring at me, I turned around to face it, frozen in place. I hoped it doesn't notice me.

It took a step forward slowly as I reach in my bag and slowly pull out my knife if anything goes bad. Right where I pull it out, it charge right at me which I quickly turned tail and ran down the hall.

I ran as fast as I could but it was faster, it reached and grab my right foot as I fell, I still held on to the knife in my right hand.

I grunt when I feel as I turned around as it drag me closer to is face, I went and stab him in is throat as blood started to ooze from is thoart as it made some vocal noises but it was moarns in pain.

I pull it out as blood gushed out and nearly splash my face, but a drops did hit my face and some landed on my hair.

It let go of my leg as i quickly got up and ran down the hall, I looked back and it still ran after me, being a little slow than before

I wasn't paying attention as I realized I pass that one room where I got my bag, but I kept running and went through the middle hall and ran left through the balcony roundabout.

I went through one of the doors near the middle and shut it, I couldn't believe i just stab a monster. I'm used to blood, my blood. But other bloods than mine felt, wrong in every way. It felt sickening.

I try to regain my composure but I heard a noise coming from a metal locker.

"ahh!"

I yelped, I was still on edge as I then heard it scratching the door which made me turned around and back away from the door, knife ready if it figure out how to open doors.

I stare at it for a moment until I turn my attention to the locker. I don't know what's in there, but I hope it isn't anything like that out there.

I slowly approach the locker, I realized that I'm in a room that looks like a chemistry class.

I have my knife ready if it might be another monster, but when I shine my light on the locker a female voice yelped in fear as it moved.

"aahh! Please don't hurt me, i'm just hiding from those things outside!"

I was surprise to hear an ordinary human voice, i decided to approach the locker slowly while saying.

"uhm, i'm not gonna hurt you."

I stare at my knife and put it away in my bag.

"in fact, i'm happy to hear a person's voice. But how should I know you're an actual person?"

"m-my name's Vinnie. And I'm a student in westen halls College."

She opens the locker slowly as the light shine on her, she looks quite good looking with long black hair, some of it were in front of her. She was looking nervous for a good reason as i try to comfort her.

"well, is nice to meet you vinnie. How did this all happen?"

Vinnie seems to be hesitant to tell, i shouldn't have push her like that. But she told me though.

"it all happen yesterday, we got a notification to stay in dorms and lock it. I didn't understand at first, but i knew it was something bad. But before i could even reach my dorms, it appeared and attacked many students here. I ran, and hide as much as i could."

She was in distress, i couldn't help but feel bad.

"i'm sorry you have to go through this, i...I understand what it's like."

She looks at me a bit puzzled.

"What you mean? Who are you, and how you got here? Are you a student here?"

I said too much, but at least i get to explain my reasons.

"well uhh, my name's yuri. And well, i'm not from here. I'm a high school student and well, honestly i don't know how i got here."

I hope she'll believes me, she seems to be deciding.

"you're from a high school? And you don't know how you hot here? Really?"

"y-yes...I woken up in a room on the first floor."

"which room?"

She crossed her arms while saying that. I don't actually remember what it was but now i think about it, i did got a glimpse what it was.

"I think it was b 103."

"B 103? That's my literature class."

She put down her arms, i was surprise that i ended up in her classroom, literature of all classes.

"Really? That's oddly coincidence, i read a notebook of somebody who actually likes literature. Y-you know, i'm actually a fan of literature as well..."

Why am i telling her my favorite subject? Am i suggesting that she's the one who wrote that notebook? How petty can i be to tell her this in a bad situation?

"you, like literature? And you read my notebook...? Uhhmm."

Her looks were quite embarrassing, maybe i said too much.

"i-i like literature as well. And that's my notebook as well."

"what?"

That's all i can utter, i wasn't expecting this.

"yeah. You know is not easy finding someone who actually likes literature as well."

I stared and blink, just letting all of this in. She's not wrong, it is hard finding others who like literature as well.

"yeah, i can understand that. Is nice to meet someone who's well acquainted with literature as well. But, sadly is not the time to convert with literature..."

I sadden a little, her expression was a little like mines as well, just more upset as well.

"yeah, you're right. We need to get out of this college."

"yes, but all of the doors are locked. I tried breaking the windows but i only left a scratch on it with a chair."

"a chair? Hahaha, well that should of been expected. Those windows are thick layers and don't break easily. Hell i think they're bulletproof so it takes a dumb tuck to break those windows."

She explains to me about that, this isn't going to be easy to get out of here.

"soo, how are we getting out of here?"

She looks away, clearly thinking about this. She moves around while humming to herself.

"you know, i think i might know a way."

I looked at her in interest.

"When all this happen, i try leaving the college through the doors, but here's the thing: Every door has a electronic lock, so not everyone knows the code to get out and i think the person who has the keys to get out..."

She pause for a moment, clearly reminiscing something unspeakable.

"Yeah... But, apparently the power to the college is out."

"what? How is that possible? The lights are still on."

"yes, but that's only because of the emergency power generator, which only affect the light source. But sadly it doesn't affect the doors."

I sigh, this wasn't going to be easy to get out of here. But i wonder what she has in mind.

"but, i think the main power source is probably been broken in, but there's a way to get the doors to open."

"really? How?"

She put her fingers on her chin and thought for a second.

"i think, that some of the power is still on. Maybe you can transfer some of that power to the electric doors. Which is possibly the main source in this college."

"huh?"

This might work, but how am i going to transfer energy to the electrical source?

"is simple really, all you have to do is flip a switch to the electric power source and that hopefully should be it. And don't worry, it will be already open because the doors automatically open when there's an emergency. Which i feel is a safety problem if any person tries to break in the college."

She has a wearily smile on her face, i can see why she's like that. But right now is the only option i have.

"but, why does this college have electric locks?"

She shrug her shoulders.

"beats me, I heard from my professor that these locks are rare to see in colleges. They only work on electricity and when they're off. They stay shut, saying is a defense mechanism if any thieves try to cut the power or even something else. I don't know, is crazy if you ask me."

She cross her arms pondering about this.

"So, are you asking me to do this?"

She looked at me surprised for a moment.

"I mean, yes but uhh. Hehehe, i'm sorry but i don't want to go out there either."

"i see..."

I don't blame her, is not easy going out there and trying to avoid that thing out there. But if i have to say, that i'm possibly the only one who's more equipped and have at least some experience on how to get through this. I made it this far, and i'm determined to get out of here.

"*sigh* Okay, i'll do it."

She looked really surprise when i said that.

"are you serious?! Wow, i honestly wasn't expecting you to agree to this so thoroughly. That's, admirable."

I don't know how to feel about that, but i took it as a compliment.

"uhh, well, thanks i guess..."

I smiled faintly as i notice her revealing a smile as well.

"you know, i like you. As a friend that is. Say, if you get through this then i would like to know you more."

I was pretty surprise to hear that, but i liked that idea as i smile.

"Yeah, i like to know you more too."

"hehe, yeah. Like, i like you're hair. Did you dye it like that?"

I wasn't expecting that, i don't think i should tell her that this is my natural hair color.

"uhm, yes, i dye it like this."

"oh, it looks good on you. It fits with your eyes, is pretty rare for people to have purple eyes."

"yeah, thanks."

"tchehe, yeah. you're original hair color is black right?"

"uhmm..."

I turned around slightly but still look at her.

"yes."

"oh, okay. Well i guess you should go, but be careful out there."

"thanks."

I moved on as i was about to reach the door, she called out to me.

"hey, the basement is on the right side on the east hall. Be careful yuri."

I gave her a confident smile.

"i will, thank you vinnie."

I then looked at the window and saw nothing, or heard anything. I left the room and was in the balcony area.

I need to get down to the basement but i must be careful, it's still roaming around here so i need to be quiet as well.

I pull out my knife and was going down the stairs to get to the first floor.

I made to the first floor without problems, but i must of thought of it too soon.

I heard the toenails noises from a far on the left side of the hallways, thankfully i wasn't close to it, but i went on to the other side of the college.

I was on the other side as I moved on, I could hear the noises coming closer. I pick up the pace now getting nervous, I went to the nearest door on the left side and quickly entered.

Before I entered, I could of sworn I saw a glimpse of it coming around the corner, I certainly hope he didn't see me.

I lay behind the door, covering my light, hoping it won't recognize the light. It comes close to the door and stop near the front door where i'm at. I kept my breath at a normal pace, but my heart was beating pretty fast.

It wasn't long until it moves back down the hall as i waited until i couldn't hear it. I sit there, waiting for a moment until I sigh in relief and took my hand off the light, only to see a dead body further away from me.

"*gasp*"

I was shocked to see it, it was a male and was bloody with a broken leg. I got up and soon notice more corpses in the room. Mortified I quickly exit the room and was back in the halls. I was breathing a bit fast as my thoughts linger on that gruesome scene.

I felt bad for the people here, who knows how many died here. I would moarn for them but i need to get moving, I believe the basement is just around the corner.

Continuing I reached the left corner as I heard something sliding. I carefully peak around the corner and saw a corpse being drag into a room, it looked like an officer and I could make out something in his hand.

As a long, pale human like hand dragged him into the room, I was hoping it wasn't the basement I need to go too.

I waited for a few seconds until I moved quietly, I reach the area where he was and looked at the name right next to the door: "Basement."

"oh boy..."

It seems faith is cruel to me, I don't wanna go down there but I have no choice. I lift my knife up and looked at it, at least I'm not going down there without any weapons.

I took a quick deep breath and took a step forward down the stairs. I reach the bottom as i open the door, the first area was a somewhat wide area with two racks on each end.

I entered and closed the door quietly as I turned around. The basement is dreary and pretty dark, in front of me was the way to the halls going left and right.

I went up to the area looking both ways, on the right was a long hall intersecting with halls and doorways. On the left was a short hall that turns to the left. I decided to go left first and see around the corner a few electrical boxs, it was basically a dead end.

I turned back down the long hallway about to pass the next hallway to the left. I peak around the corner and saw nothing but the long hall and two doors, one on the right and the last near the end.

I continue quietly and cautiously as I heard breathing and low moarns.

I was going to pass two rooms with no doors, the first one on the right was a room filled with corpses, some of them were skined and missing body parts.

I was horrified and disgusted, then i heard crunches close by. I slowly walked towards the left room and peaked in, I saw a monster on all fours, similar to the one upstairs.

It was eating the corpse he drag down here, I hide my light in case it might notice it, but doing so caught is attention.

It lift is head up, making a sudden grunt. I quickly hide In-between the walls as it started to move a little. I covered my mouth, trying not to make any noises as it steps a few times, but it wasn't coming closer.

Soon I could hear is steps again but soon after, I heard chewing and skin being ripped. It wasn't a pleasant sound at all as I peak around the corner to barely see it eat the corpse.

I then tip toe away from the doorway view and continue quietly as I notice a door on the left. I Checked the name and it said: "power room."

I was slightly relieved as I grab the handle and twisted it, only it didn't open. I was disquiet and upset as I quietly said to myself.

"damnit."

This isn't the time to look around for a damn key, but I don't have a choice in the matter. I moved on while still hearing that monster chewing on the officer, as I was at the last halls. It was another two way hallway, on the left was two doors and two doors on the right.

I choose right, hoping to find any keys to get that door open. I reach the first door and went in, my light shine around the room as I saw it was the boil room. I then noticed corpses hanging on ropes, upside-down.

It was a awful sight for sure, but then I noticed a corpse on the left, it was wearing a brown jumpsuit, and at is waist was mutiple golden keys.

I gasped and was relieved to see it, but I need to find a way to reach it. I looked around and didn't see anything to get up there, I sigh upsettling and was going to turn around and move on until i heard footsteps outside the door.

I was shocked and nearly lose my cool, because it opened the door as I quickly but quietly got out of the way and went behind the door.

It came in slowly, i covered my mouth as my hearts pound furiously. It was growling while looking around, I took this opportunity to sneak behind it and leave the room, even know it was risky but I didn' have much of a choice.

I managed to get out of there as I glance back as it turns its head to me but I was out of sight before it could noticed me.

I could hear is breathing growls as it started to move, i proceed to move as well, going to the left side of the hall to check the other rooms, as I could hear that thing ripping something off.

I continue down passing the first door, the room was a storage room but I don't know what could be in there. I then reach near the end as I went in the door and was in the heater room.

I saw the large furnace as the fire was on, I looked around and saw a chair, it could help me get up there.

I went and grab it as I carried it to the door and heard footsteps through the halls from a far, I waited anticipating it to come here, but instead it enters the storage room.

I was a little relieved as I put down the chair and open the door and took the chair down the hall. As I was passing the room he was in, i heard a lot noises in there, like broken woods and stuff falling, I was curious why it was causing so much noises but I didn't stay and check.

I soon made to the boil room, my light shine on the janitor corpse as is head was missing. I put the chair right next to him as I got on it and pull out my knife, I cut the keys free and make sure it wasn't going to make too much noises.

Then I heard a roar in the halls, my heart skip a beat when I heard it. I quickly got off and heard its footsteps coming close to where I'm at, as it stops right in front of the door.

I heard loud huffing behind the door, as I lay behind the wall, waiting for it to come in but it went back further in the halls.

I was confused on why it moved on, maybe it wasn't sure? Whatever it was I moved on and leave the room, I went down the hall quietly as I had the keys in my bag.

I turned the left corner and was reaching the power room. I could hear that It was still in the halls, probably around the right side of the halls.

I grab the keys from my bag and carefully insert one of the keys in as it jingle a little from the other keys. The first key didn't fit, I was frustrated but kept checking the next key, I try to insert it but it didn't fit either. The keys ding slightly louder which caught that monster attention.

Footsteps were coming down the hall as I have two more keys left as I grab the second to last one and insert it to the keyhole and it fit. I quickly twist it and unlock it as I quickly entered, getting a glance at the monster.

I saw is front half, is head has black long hair going down, no features besides that it doesn't have any eyes and is mouth was always open.

I shut the door and locked it, hearing the monster screeching roars behind the door as it wiggle the door handle frantically. It screams madly as it scratch the door, more than that other monster.

I back away, scared, but was relieved to be safe from that thing.

It kept scratching the door then stops, it groan loudly and then went off down the hall as is footsteps become quiet and quieter.

I think is gone, I turned around and looked at the electrical panels and even the emergency generator. I finally made it here, i just hope I don't mess anything up.

She told me to flip some switches to transfer the emergency power to the main electrical power, I open the panel and saw many switches and wires.

"oh boy..."

I was never really that good at learning science or physics, or any other that relates to electrical engineering. But right now it seems I can't fail now.

I looked at the the switches names, it seems the main power for the college was switched on. I decided to turn my attention to the generator and didn't see anything that might help, I turned back to the panel, all she said is to transfer the emergency energy to one of the power for the college.

I scan around and saw the electronic switch which was off, I look at the main power source and switch it off. The powers turned off, only my light was the only source, I then flip the switch and heard a electrical noise, it was barely audible.

I sure hope it worked, I close the panel and went out of the room.

I was back in the hallways and I didn't heard any noises, I went forward until I was about to pass the doorway from the dead officer. I turned to it and remembered he was holding something in his hand, I went in smelling the awful bloody scent.

I try to ignore the stench as my light shine on him as i saw what was in his hand, a gun. I went close and bend down and pick it up while forcefully moving his fingers from it.

I lift it up, I never had a real experience shooting a gun, in fact this is my first time, my first to use it for self defense against those awful creatures. I'm not too fond of this, but I must do what I need to survive, hopefully only for this moment.

I looked at the gun, it was kinda bulky, the slide was in a square sharp and was not too heavy. The only experience I ever get from guns was from my stories, they were really descriptive on how the character used their weapons. I, only read one suspense action story which was heavily apply from psychology drama. The story kinda reminds me of max payne, even know I don't usually play games, but I enjoyed playing that game on my father computer.

Anyways, I check the gun and it was a glock 19, gen 4. I continue investigating it and saw it was made in australia, the last thing I saw engraved in it was the number 9x19.

I push the mag release button and looked at the magazine, it was filled with golden bullets, I think it was a full mag, as I saw the counter being 15. I then realize from the bullets that it was a 9mm, i'm no expert on weapons or bullets but i'm assuming that 9mm is 9x19.

I put the magazine back in the gun, even know i hit the side of the bottom I still got it in. I pulled the slide back just a bit to see if it was loaded, it was as I released it and got up, the stench was now getting to me.

I left the room and continue to the exit, I open the door and was back in the stairwell as I climb up and was back in the main halls. I couldn't help but felt relieved to be back.

Until I heard clacking noises coming from my right. I quickly turned and saw that strange but horrifying monster with the upside down head.

I was shocked and scared until I realized I have a weapon, I took aim while holding with both hands. I took a step back as it was coming closer as I pull the trigger and shot him in is body.

The recoil was pretty manageable but it kicks to the left side, my ears ring for a moment until it still moves. I continue shooting it twice as it stagger for a second as I aimed for is head and fire as blood flew out of is head. is movement limp and fell on is side.

I just did it, I killed that awful monster. I don't know if I should be ecstatic or not, but this thing causes so many harm, I think I have a justification of killing it.

My ears still rings, i'm honestly surprised my ears aren't hurting. I didn't want to stare at it anymore as I turned around and went down the hall, going towards the nearest exit.

I reached it, I went and grab the handle and push down and push it open. It worked! I can't believe it, I got it to open. But, now I need to tell vinnie.

"AAAAAHHHH!"

I heard her screams echo in the halls, oh no, she's in trouble!

I quickly turned and ran down the hall, I need to get to the third floor.

I ran up the stairs as the first flight of stairs i nearly trip, thankfully I didn't though as I reach the third floor as I ran around the balcony and reach the room she's in.

"Vinnie--!"

I called out while open the door, only to be send flying towards the rails as I let go of my gun as it slide further away from me from my right.

I heard is roars in anger as it grab my throat, I stare at is hollow expression as my left hand grab hold of is arm while my right hand reach in my bag and took out the knife and stab his arm.

"mmp!"

It screams in pain as I pull it out as it let go, I then stab it in is throat then repeatedly stabs him three times in the throat as blood gushed out. I was so caught up in the moment of fury and the adrenaline of the violence as I stab is upper body as my blade went in half way as I didn't stop, stabing it at least seven times as the blade was now reaching the tip inside of it.

It still roars in a blood curdling screams as It slap my face with his claws as i went flying to my right just two feet away.

It hurts, but I ignored it and looked forward, seeing my gun out of reach. I quickly got up and ran towards it and heard it started following in suit as I jump and let go of my knife as it side away from me.

I landed in front of the gun as I grab it, adjust it in my hand and turn around and aimed, it was a feet away as it reach for me but I shot it in is head, but I didn't stop and shot it twice. The last shot went over his head since I flinch.

It rear and roar bloody as it fell on is side, I got up and seeing it still alive. I was fed up with this, I aimed at is head again and start pulling the trigger multiple times fast. I couldn't control the recoil as my aim was non existing and my shots hit all over is body. I didn't know what came over me, but I didn't stop firing until the trigger went flat and I heard a faint click.

My breathing was dyspnea, my body felt light, soon i felt the stinging pain on my left face, and something cold and liquid was coming down my cheek.

I looked briefly at my gun, the slide was back as I then lift my left hand up and touch the liquid, and looked at my fingers, it was indeed blood.

My breathing was starting to becoming slower in a normal pace, but I was still breathing heavily.

Right now I ignored the pain in my left face and went inside the room she was in.

"vinnie!"

I quicken my pace and soon saw her, laying on the ground, no movement with her legs broken and blood from her forehead.

I gasp, not vinnie.

"no, no, vinnie!"

I ran towards her, I got on my knees and check her, I felt no pulse, she didn't reacted. She's dead.

"no... No vinnie."

Tears were coming from my eyes, I couldn't help her in time.

"i'm sorry vinnie, I couldn't get to you on time."

I sniff, and wiped the tears off, I winch in pain since I forgot about my bloody scratches on my left face. I looked at her, she didn't deserve this. I want to moarn for her, bit I can't. I must move on.

I got off the floor and back on my feet.

"i'm sorry vinnie."

Some tears were coming down my right eye as I turned and walked away.

I left the room and close the door, I breath in as my saliva was getting moist in my throat. I wish I could of help, but I guess it was beyond my control. But right now, I need to get out of here.

I glance at the monster, blood was oozing out and falls on the ground, starting to make a bloody puddle. I went off, avoiding the puddle as the stings hit my face again. I winch in pain and looked at the nearest window and I saw my reflection.

My face has four cuts, one above my temple and eyebrows. Another on my cheek and where my cheekbone were at, thankfully it didn't scratch my nose. And the last one was near my jaw line.

I wasn't liking my wounds but I can't help it right now, I don't have the necessaries to heal my wounds, so I need to move on. That's until I kicked something, it slide on the ground as I looked and saw my knife, I forgot about it. I went and it picked it up and put it back into my bag, above my books and continue on.

I walk down the stairs and soon reach the bottom, I head towards the main entrance and walk through the entrance area, not looking back.

I open the door and was back outside, I don't know if I should be relieved, I don't feel satisfied, since she hasn't made it. But, for now I'll be the one to make her accomplish, all of that was not for nothing, and I will live on, thanks to her.

I moved on, going down the linear path to the road, it was kinda cold out, at this moment I wish I have my sweater. I continue down the road and was soon reaching the end of the parking lot and was reaching the main road.

I seemed to be in a city, I went right and just travel down the road, hoping to find any life.

In the city, it was deserted, I didn't found no one. I was going down the right side of town and was reaching the outer skirt. Before I was leaving the city, I try the buildings, they were all locked.

I figured they were all locked, probably because of those things, but I hadn't ran into anything similar to the ones I just saw.

So when I finally was leaving town, i saw lights coming down the road. I was pretty happy to see an actual working car coming this way as I ran. It was getting closer as I suddenly felt dizzy.

"oh no...!"

Is happening again, please not again.

"no...No..."

I fell on my side as the car was coming, my vision was still clear as the car was soon right next to me. My head was drowsy like I took a prescribed pill, as the driver came out of the car and I saw who was driving before my vision became blurry.

His skin was pale grey, and it didn't looked human. I close my eyes, as I heard his footsteps coming towards me. And that's the last i heard.
