bang*

"Wha-!?"

I jerked up from the bed I was in, I don't remember what happen before but I know for sure that I wasn't home. In front of me was a window with the blinds closed, the light barely shines through the opening spaces but it wasn't bright out.

I look around in my surroundings and notice that I was in a room, but my attention was cut short by another bang on something solid, like glass. The room was kinda dark with the only light being from outside but I notice a shadow from underneath the blinds.

"What...?"

I got off the bed and realized I still have my shoes on, and I notice my uniform from school. I don't remember what happened before but I do remember somebody but is just a figure in my memory.

I get up and heard another bang on the window which now gave me a very bad feeling, 'What's causing that banging, is it something I want to know?'

Another slam which made me jump slightly, i was starting to feel nervous as I went forward and reach for the curtain strings and pull it down as the blinds open up, revealing a humanoid figure with a large hand with claws. My heart jumped as I back away as the thing claws slide down the window scratching the glass with an awful screech.

What the hell am I looking at, what is this? I didn't know why but I closed the blinds, I didn't want to see it but right now i'm in a bad situation. I backed away from the window and turned around, it was dark but I looked around for a light switch on the wall, now feeling the wall for it until I found it.

I switch it on as another slam on the window, that thing is not going away and right now i'm afraid to even leave the house.

At this moment I realize I'm not even at my own house, this isn't my room, is less kept than mines and my room isn't that messy.

"Shit."

Another bang was starting to get to me as I wasn't going to stay here, I head for the door and turned the knob only for it to not open. "What?" I try again but the door was locked, how can that be possible?

I looked at the door knob and noticed that the lock above the door knob was gone, I shouted: "What?!" As another bang on the window caught my attention.

I was nearly panicking but I kept calm as much as i could as I looked around the room, their got to be another way out, but I can't go to the window. I look at the drawers and for some reason I checked them as each one was nothing but clothes until I found a box.

"What is this?"

I question as another slam was on the window, I investigate the box and notice a keyhole but it was small. I also noticed two shapes, one being a triangle and a square, each have something to fit in the shapes. I put it on top of the drawer and continue, the doors lock got to be in here somewhere as I finished looking into the drawers only to found nothing else.

I checked underneath the bed but it was dark, I need some light as I notice a closet and went to check it out. What I found inside was clothes hanging and a box on top of the shelf. I reach for it but it was just an inch away as another slam on the window was heard, I noticed a coat hanger and used it to knock over the box on the ground.

What came out was batteries, triple a's as I picked them up and put them in my pocket, don't know why but I feel like they'll come in handy.

I continue on since their isn't anything in the closet and my eyes landed on a bed drawer on the left. I went up to it and heard another slam which made me jump a little, that's slightly getting on my nerves. I open it up and what roll out was a flashlight, I picked it up and turn it on, only that it didn't.

I open it up by sliding a lid off by the side and notice three slot for triple a battery's, luckily i have some. I put them in and put the lid back on and turned it on, the light shines pretty bright as I realized i can look underneat the bed.

I quickly look under and saw a red triangle on the floor as I picked it up, nothing substantial left as I got up and heard another bang on the window, only this time I heard cracking noise, I don't think the window is going to last.

"Shit..."

I quickly look around the room for anymore things: In the closet, besides the beds and I look underneat the drawers, I only found one thing that was interesting, a blue shape against the wall.

I moved the drawer and pick it up and saw that it was a blue square, I got all of the pieces but I don't know if this is worth it.

Another slam on the window as more cracking sounds was heard, it sounds like the window will break any minute. I put the shapes in place as the last thing I need is a key, I quickly look around for it but I exhaust every place I could look. I was nearly losing my patience as I checked the drawers again but more thorough and I found nothing, another slam and something breaking as glass starting to fall onto the ground.

"Shit!"

I look around and even look inside the closet again only to find nothing, this feel hopeless but I kept looking, I don't want to be here when it comes in. Come on, what's the last place I'll check... The bed?

I look at the bed and grab the pillow and look underneat it, their's the key as I grab it and quickly ran and put it inside the keyhole as it was a music box, that explains why is so weird. I twist it until I heard a click as it opens up and a dancer figure came out while a lullaby music start playing.

I looked inside and saw a knob of sort, it was the lock for the door as I grab it and heard another slam and the window breaking open. I quickly ran to the door and put the lock back in properly and unlock the door and open it and slam door shut, seeing that figure face, it was horrifying with sharp teeth.

I finally made it out of the room but now that thing is in here as i heard slams against the door, apparently it doesn't know how to open doors, thankfully.

I turned around and notice that the house was dark as I turned on my flashlight and I was in a hallway. It was now quiet for some reason as I found it odd just slightly, if i'm in someone house then why am I the only one.

I shine down the hall to my left, I don't know how to take this situation since I'm in someone's house, but if people were in here then they should heard the banging. I need to get out of this house but I'm afraid that thing will leave the room and come after me, is a risk but I'm not staying here.

I walked and reach near the end of the hall and notice I was upstairs, I shine down the stairs and heard something fell and cans moving. Someone's here? I move down the stairs and was on the first floor, near my left was a hallway and also the front door.

I can get out of here but I heard more cans moving and clank noises coming from around the corner, due to my curiosity I was about to check around the corner until something big appeared around the corner. It looked like a pink baby with long pointing legs like stills, that scared me really bad that I jumped backwards.

"What the hell!?"

It was quiet I didn't heard it steps as it started to come around the corner as I turned around and ran back up stairs, panicked as I went back in the hall.

I slow down and look back only to see it coming up behind me as I quicken my pace and ran down the hall and went inside a room and slam the door behind me before it could reach. I took this time to catch my breath as I recollect my thoughts: "What is that thing?!"

I thought, as I notice a string from above my head as I switch it on as the light turned on. I look around my surroundings and realize I was inside a closet, the only thing in here was clothes on the top shelf and a black case that has a combination.

"What's this?"

I pull it out and and saw on top of the case that said gun safe, is a weapon case, it might come in handy but it has a combination; A four digit code.

I just push the button but nothing happens, I shouldn't expect less but right now it seems that this might help later, but all I have to do is leave this house. I open the door and peak through the small crack, I don't see it anymore, I open the door and look both ways; This hall has two different ways to come in.

I close the door and quietly went back to the front hall and look down, that thing was quiet so it's hard to know if is still down there, plus is fast.

I continue down the stairs and heard stuff moving, like clanking of cans as I look down the living room was the kitchen and I saw that thing in front of the refrigerator. Is hard to make out anything but I figure is eating something but suddenly is head fling up and turned as I quickly hide back.

Shit, is not letting me leave so easily, as another clanking noise was heard as I quickly went back up the stairs and hide in the first door on my left.

I locked it and turned on the lights, and saw another room, is small as well but it was more neat then the room I was in. I was curious for some reason and decided to check out the closet and open it up, the only thing I found was clothes and a piece of torn paper.

I picked it up and it was a combination for possibly the case, it said: 19. "Huh, this will help."

I pull it down and went back to the door and went to hear out in the hall, I heard nothing and that's not a good thing. How should I know if is out there still?

I decided to peak out and turn off the light, I saw nothing out in the hall so I open it up and look both ways, I keep hearing clanking noises from down stairs, is not going to let me get out of here so easily. I look down the hall to the door with the case, I have a feeling that I need that combination code to get out of here, that means I have to use a gun.

I've never used a gun before but the only thing I know about it was games and manga, but that doesn't count from the real thing.

I look back and saw that thing right behind me and it was about to wrap is mouth around my head, I reacted: "Ahh! Get away--!"

I jumped backwards and barely dodge that as it snunk up on me, I quickly turned around and ran down the hall and turn left and went through the next door on my left.

This place was the bathroom, I waited in here wondering where that thing is now, is it waiting outside as I turned off my flashlight. I waited for a moment and went up to the door, peak out and left the bathroom.

I peak around the corner and saw that thing standing in the middle of the hall, with is back turned. I need to find a different way out as I went to the other side of the hall and reach a balcony with wooden railings, it was a dead end but I could climb down and enter the kitchen.

I decided on that and carefully climb down and fell with no issues, other then i might cause some noise. I shine my light around seeing another room behind me, the kitchen and living room not far from me.

I went into the kitchen and see a piece of paper on the counter and look at it, the last combination for the case: "73."

Alright, i got the last code as i look up and saw that thing heading towards me, i panic as it went around the counter as i wemt the opposite way he came from and quickly ran to the stairs. I heading towards the closet and open and close the door before it could reach me, i don't know if is capable of opening doors.

I grab the case and open it up by using the code, it opened up as i saw the gun inside with 2 magazines. The gun was an m9a1 as i put it down and grab the gun and inspect it, i pull on the slide just a little, i remember from the animation that there was a round in a chamber so i checked and there wasn't.

I pull it all the way and now is loaded, i notice one more thing that i missed, a belt with mag holders and a gun hostel. I put it on and grab the mags, i was ready for that thing but i wasn't mentally prepared for this, i never fire a real gun let along ready to kill something. All of this is happening so fast, i feel like things are out of my hands.

"Okay, okay, this should be fine..."

That didn't quite help as i expected but any pep talk would help, why am i in this situation in the first place?

"Alright. Here goes."

I pull out the gun and open the door and saw it near the end of the hall, waiting for me. It charged at me as i point and aim for is head but it kept moving a bit, i steady my aim and fired at it, the recoil wasn't too bad.

I aimed for the head but it missed, i nearly lose my nerve and fire again this time hitting it in the head. It kept moving with a stagger as i fire this time aiming near the center of is body as it was close so i let lose just a bit as bullets fly around him.

The monster stops near the front of the closet where i was and stagger back as i aimed quickly at is head and fire again, this time killing it.

It fell on the ground as the body twitch a bit as i could breathe easily now. I lower my gun and just stare at that monster, i wemt up it and look at it, it wasn't moving as the eyes were squint a little but no movement whatsoever.

"I killed it..."

I never thought that today i will kill something, i don't know how to feel about this, i just move on and left the hallway hoping it won't get back up. I was finally at the front door and unlocked the door knob and the three latches as i open the door and left the house.

It was nighttime outside, not too cold out as i walk to the front porch and look around, i don't any other monsters which is nice. I left the porch and was now on the sidewalk, the houses wasn't recognizable in fact this neighborhood was not the same as mine.

"where, am i?"

I suddenly felt dazed and drowsy all of a sudden as i move forward down the left side hoping my sleepiness will go away but it just got worse as i lose my senses and fell unconscious.
