A/N: So finally! After god knows how long, the final chapter during springtime is here! And it's the most epic one yet, with drama, suspense, and comedy!

After school, Tomo rubbed her eyes as baseball practice commenced. Maybe it's the late spring heat beating down on her, maybe it's trying to keep an eye on Maya and Mr. Tadakichi, but she was craving for some action. And by action, she wants an actual baseball match against a group of high school boys. But that would never happen and said boys would mock her for doing an un-womanly hobby. Still, her heart was racing, because another thing was happening after school.

"Tomo!" Yukari shouted, "Come over here!"

"Coming, Yukari-sensei!" Tomo said as she ran to her teacher.

"Okay girls, Nyamo and I have decided on your defense positions for the baseball diamond," Yukari explained as her best friend passed out some papers, " If any of you have some complaints about your positions, I'll be napping under the tree!"

The girls opened up their papers which contained their positions, some of them are content with their assigned positions, but others…

"Yukari-sensei," Kaorin asked, "Why I'm the shortstop?"

But Yukari didn't answer- while-she answered only with her snoring, which caused Kaorin to sweatdrop.

"Yomi!" Tomo shouted, "I'm at the base as First Basegirl!"

"I see, Tomo," Yomi said, "And Chiyo-chan is at the base as well."

"Although, did Yukari-chan ever put thought into her selections?! I mean, why make Ayumu the catcher of all people! I would have made a better catcher than-"

"Tomo, we get it, you want to be the best at everything," Yomi interrupted, " But I have to tell you this: whatever issues we face in our journey, we have to face them as a team, not as individuals."

"Yeah yeah, Yomi, you can talk all you want! But you know what they say: 'There's no 'I' in 'team'!"

Yomi then sighed to herself, "Well Tomo, let's get back home. Our parents are going to be worried about us."

Back at the Takinos' house, the family was eating some well-deserved dinner when Mr. Takino has an important message to give to his daughter.

"So Tomo," Mr. Takino said to his second daughter, "Yesterday I was talking to the local matchmaker about some men, and she said "Toshiyo-kun, you should let your daughter marry to the heir of the Oyama Corporation," and I was like-"

"Toshiyo!" Mrs. Takino interrupted, "Get to the point!"

"Okay, hon. Well Tomo, next week, you're got to the matchmaker to see your fiancee!"

Tomo was shocked. Her? With a fiancee? Now that was unbelievable.

"Daddy," Tomo said with a tear in her eye, "Why would you do this to me?!"

Before Mr. Takino explained, he saw his daughter run upstairs to her bedroom.

The next day, which was on the weekend, Tomo and her twin sister are walking down the streets of Tokyo.

"Nee-chan, why are looking so down?" Tomoko asked her twin sister.

"If I answered that question," Tomo said to her sister, "then a bunch of kids will mock me!"

"Tomo, don't feel humiliated about it. You're still the same twin sister I love and adore."

"You're right, Nee-chan."

Tomo then inhaled and shouted her feelings:

"I'M IN AN ARRANGED MARRIAGE!"

All of the people in the street looked at Tomo in a strange way, but that didn't faze them in the slightest… except for a group of nine boys.

"Lookie here!" Said the leader, "Obaa-chan here is finally getting married!"

"HOW DARE YOU CALLED ME AN OLD LADY!" Tomo shouted in rage, "TOMOKO, NOW YOU UNDERSTAND WHY I'M AFRAID OF THIS HAPPENING!"

"So Obaa-chan, you play baseball?"

"As a matter of fact, I do! And I have an entire team of girls waiting to challenge you and your troupe of midgets! And if you win, you can call me 'obaa-chan' for life!"

"Deal, Obaa-chan!"

"YOU WHAT-?!" Yomi shouted at Tomo when she and Chiyo-chan were visiting Tomo's family restaurant.

"Yep, I allowed those nine boys to challenge us!" Tomo proudly said.

"But Tomo-san," Chiyo said, "if we lose, then the other students will laugh at us!"

"Who cares, Chiyosuke!" Tomo shouted, " I want to get revenge on those boys for calling me an old lady!"

"Old lady?" Yomi and Chiyo said in confusion.

"It's true! Their leader called me 'Obaa-chan'!"

"Yomi-san, what's 'obaa-chan?" Chiyo asked Yomi.

"'Obaa-chan' usually means 'grandma'," Yomi explained to the little Russian, "but in this context, 'obaa-chan' could mean 'old lady'."

"But, Tomo-san is only 15…"

"Exactly my point, Chiyosuke! That boy called me that because I'm being involved in an arranged marriage!"

Yomi and Chiyo were shocked at what Tomo said. Her? In an arranged marriage? This isn't possible.

"Tomo, I want to congratulate you on your marriage," Yomi said to her friend, "but it feels so wrong…"

"I have to agree with Yomi-san," Chiyo added, "I should be happy at you but at the same time, I feel some pity for you."

Tomo then smiled and hugged Yomi and Chiyo-chan, "Don't worry you two! For now, let's focus on beating those elementary schoolboys!"

And then, the day of the team's first baseball match has come. And Yukari has a motivational speech for her students.

"Listen, y'all!" Yukari shouted, "I know that this game is the most important one in our lives! If we win, we will get frame and bragging rights! If we lose, then you girls will get humiliated, I'll go to the bar and drown my sorrows with sake, and Nyamo will pay the bill."

"Hey, why did you have to mention that in front of the girls?!" Nyamo shouted.

"Nyamo, you have to pay everything for me! In fact, I can't pay my own restaurant bills, rent, car insurance-"

As the two women kept on arguing, Sakaki gave the other girls some boxes, and then they all went to the changing room.

In the changing room, all of the girls opened their boxes, and inside were some baseball uniforms tailored-made for them.

"Sakaki-san, what are these?" Kaorin asked Sakaki.

"Oh, they are baseball uniforms," Sakaki answered, "When I told my parents about myself being in a baseball team, they were so elated that they gave me these uniforms that never flew off the shelves."

"Geez, I wonder why," Yomi snarked.

"Sakaki-san…" Kaorin blushed, "This is the best gift you ever gave me!"

Sakaki didn't have anything to say; she only smiled at Kaorin, which made the smaller girl blush, and Chihiro and Kotori did nothing but chuckle.

At the baseball diamond, all of the students and adults were waiting patiently for the nine girls to come, even the little boys were waiting patiently. But then, the dust started to blow with the wind as nine shadows emerged from the light of the blinding sun. When the dust settled, the nine girls revealed themselves to everybody. The girls cheered, the parents smiled, the boys were shocked, and Kimura was... really happy.

"So Obaa-chan," the leader of the elementary boys said to Tomo, "You look tacky in those pants!"

Tomo then saw Sakaki crying due to the little boy's remark on the uniforms, "You little pest!" she shouted, "You hurt my best friend! Let's do some good ol' jan-ken-po to see who's on the offense, and who's on the defense!"

So the two leaders of their baseball teams go on front to decide whose team is going first.

"JAN-KEN-PO!"

"WHY WE'RE THE ONES IN DEFENSE?!" Tomo whined.

"Maybe because you suck at jan-ken-po," Yomi answered, " But, we have to get the other team out three times so we can bat for the next inning."

"But how?!"

"Don't worry Tomo. I'm sure Ayumu and Kagura have a plan to get those boys to get some strikes."

At the pitcher's plate, Kagura was stretching her arm when she saw Ayumu signaling her to throw a fastball, which Kagura gave a thumbs up at the ditzy girl. When the first boy was on the batter's plate, Kagura throws a fastball

"STRIKE!"

Kagura throws the second fastball

"STRIKE!"

Kagura threw the third fastball.

"STRIKE! YOU'RE OUT!" Said Mr. Kimura, who is the umpire of the game.

Kagura did the same thing two more times, but the last fastball was hit. Thankful, Sakaki caught the ball and threw it to Tomo, who catches it before the boy reached the first base.

"You're out!" Tomo shouted, ending the first inning.

Now, Chiyo-chan's the first one on the batter's plate, shaking in fear as the pitcher eyes on her. But the little girl took a breath, and she successfully hits the ball. She then ran as fast as she could to the next base and made it there safely.

Next up was Ayumu, who in her own little world. "Get it together," is what she chanted as her mantra, which annoyed Tomo to no end.

"Ayumu!" Shouted Tomo, " How long are you going to say 'Get it-"

But she was interrupted by a clank and she saw Ayumu on the first base and Chiyo on the second base.

Sakaki was next on the batter's plate, but the boys all huddle together, which confused the girls.

"What are those boys talking about?" Chihiro asked to Kotori.

"I don't know," Kotori answered, " But I'm afraid that they're planning to hinder Sakaki-san."

"Sakaki-san can't be hindered!" Kaorin shouted, "She's invincible and nothing can stop her!"

Sakaki was focused on the pitcher when she noticed that one of the boys on the outfield is shaking around Maya like he was a ragdoll. This enraged Sakaki, which made her hit a home run, and she, Chiyo, and Ayumu race around the diamond.

"See!" Kaorin smerked, "Sakaki-san is so cool!"

After a long game, it came to the final inning. Both teams are tied, and if Tomo's team gets at least one more point, they win the game. If they get one out, they're doomed. Kagura, Sakaki, and Yomi were on the bases. It's up to Tomo, who's on the batter's plate, to decide the fate of her team. The pitcher then throws the ball at Tomo.

"STRIKE!"

The ball is thrown again.

"STRIKE!"

"The ball is thrown once again, and Tomo hits a home run. She starting running as fast as she can as Sakaki, Kagura, and Yomi ran towards home base. Everybody watching the game chanted "Ganbare, Tomo!", encouraging the wildcat to do her best. Soon, one of the boys caught the ball and throws it at Tomo, who was nearing the home plate. Then, both the ball and Tomo were at the home plate. This shocked everybody and Mr. Kimura have to come over to see if it's a safe or out. The creepy teacher inspected Tomo's body before inspecting the plate. And then, he had an announcement:

"ANNOUNCEMENT!" He shouted, "Since Tomo's fingertip touched the plate before the ball touched her… IT'S A SAFE! THE HOME TEAM WON!"

All of the girls cheered at Tomo, who was so exhausted that Yomi has to prop up Tomo.

"Tomo-san!" Chiyo said, "Thanks to you, we won the game!"

"BANZAI!" Kimura shouted as he launched Chiyo into the air.

"THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH YOU!" Yomi and Kagura shouted as they kicked Kimura in the balls.

And they all lived happily ever after… but this is not the end. No, it's only the beginning for Tomo's team of baseball-playing girls.

So, next up is some fluffy filler, as the summertime (in this fic) is here!
