Chapter 24

Pick Your Hero Names and Internships

Opening Song: Planet Hero by Rie Takahashi (MHA Version)

(The first scene shows the sun rising in Musutafu and, in their school uniforms, Arisa and Felicia are in town watching it as their friends Usagi, Eli, Kai, and Yuki join them. They all run to school and as the title "Line of Good and Evil: A Tale of Two Exchange Students 1" appears.)

The world's greatest heroes.

It's not a dream.

(GO! GO!)

Run to the infinite future

(The next sequences of scenes show the following students one by one: Arisa Kawasaki, Felicia Marvell, Kai Uno, Yuki Drago, Ellix "Eli" Francisco Barbaros, and Sakura "Usagi" Tsubomi)

It's a miracle that suddenly appeared in front of us

The best encounter transcends the universe

More today than yesterday, more tomorrow than ever

Let's battle it out with our Quirk and go UP!

Sometimes we falter, sometimes we chafe, sometimes we become stronger

(Then comes the scene of the following villains: Kurogiri, Zap, Jouko Gumo, and Danji Vinci. Next, the scene shows Tomura Shigaraki and the Leauge of Villains, and Eraser Head with Class 1-A. After that, Arisa, Felicia, and their friends make it to class with Speed Girl and their classmates there.)

I'll show you our bond, sometimes frustrated and rubbed (getting stronger)

Because I'm not alone (always)

I can feel you next to me (buddy!)

Today too, just look ahead and go! (I'm going with you)

(In the USJ and in their hero costumes, the following Class 1-L students use their Quirks first: Tatsumi, Maruto, Miru, Ai, Makoto, and Junko. Then Usagi, Eli, Yuki, Kai, Felicia, and Arisa.)

The best heroes in this world

Let's enjoy every moment

Awesome! Wonderful! (GO! GO!)

Even when you're stumbling alone

I can feel the strength and courage in your hands

(The final sequence of scenes shows an open field with Arisa, Felicia, Yuki, Kai, Eli, and Usagi running for fun, with Speed Girl and their classmates joining them, and lastly, a picture of Class 1-L is shown on Speed Girl's desk.)

Because it's our friends who can feel it

Run to the future ahead!

-My Hero Academia-

With the three-day break now over, it was time for the UA High students to start returning to school.

Right now, Arisa and Felicia were on their way to UA High. Because today was a rainy day, Arisa had a blue umbrella and Felicia had a purple umbrella over themselves.

"It's terrible that it's raining on the day we return back to UA High," Arisa said.

"It's not that bad. Sometimes it rains like this in London, England," Felicia commented.

"I hope Kai is back in class today," Arisa stated.

"I'm sure he will be," Felicia assured her.

The girls arrived inside the school, and put their umbrellas in the umbrella tray. Then they went to their lockers to switch to their school shoes, and walked to their classroom.

Once inside, the girls saw that everyone was there, except Kai and his sister/their homeroom teacher Speed Girl. Usagi, Miru, Makoto, and Junko were in a group, but Junko was sleeping at her desk. Eli, Tatsumi, and Maruto were in another group. Ai and Yuki were sitting at their desks quietly.

'So Kai isn't here yet,' Felicia thought. 'Hopefully, he'll be here soon so Arisa won't have to worry.'

'I hope Kai is okay,' Arisa thought.

Soon, Felicia and Arisa of them were greeted by their friends and classmates.

"Welcome back, Arisa and Felicia! You're here," Usagi hopped happily.

"Hi," Miru waved to them.

"Nice to see you two," Makoto said.

"Zzzzz..." Junko snored.

"It's good to see you all here," Arisa stated.

"Indeed," Felicia agreed.

Then the group of Eli, Tatsumi, and Maruto approached the girls.

"Hey girls. How you all doing?" Eli questioned.

"We're great! The three-day break was amazing," Usagi answered, and the girls nodded in agreement.

"It sure was," Tatsumi agreed. "Even if it felt like it was short."

"Yeah, those three days went back quickly," Maruto added.

"So what did you girls do?" Eli asked.

"All us girls hung out together at the mall," Usagi stated.

"We played some arcade games and ate some food," Miru added.

"We even did some karaoke," Makoto mentioned.

"Felicia and I went to the Musutafu Museum of Natural and Heroic History," Arisa said.

"It was brilliant," Felicia commented.

"So what did you guys do?" Usagi inquired.

"I just stayed home and helped my family," Eli replied.

"I watched some Kamen Rider on tv," Tatsumi revealed.

"I played a ton of video games," Maruto admitted.

"That sounds nice," Felicia responded, and the other girls murmured in agreement.

"Did you girls see the news? Our homeroom teach was pretty busy during the break," Eli said.

"Yeah. She and the police caught Jouko Gumo, the one behind terrifying people in their sleep and stealing money from their bank accounts," Tatsumi brought up.

"Plus, she and the police stopped and arrested the Yakuza gang called the Rakugaki, and got back all the art," Maruto mentioned.

To the girls, they knew it was really Junko, Arisa, and Felicia who stopped Jouko Gumo. For Arisa and Felicia, they knew it was actually the two of them, Speed Girl, Detective Tezuka, and Mariko who stopped the Rakugaki. However, for their safety and careers as future heroes, they knew they couldn't tell anyone the truth.

Suddenly, the classroom door opened and there stood Kai Uno. He was met with familiar (and loud) voices.

"Holy Carrot! Kai's back!" Usagi shouted as she and the others in her group gathered around him as he walked to his desk.

"Yo, man! Kai, you're back! How are you doing, buddy?" Eli asked.

"Where have you been?" Maruto questioned.

"We were all worried about you," Felicia stated.

"Kai, how are you feeling?" Arisa looked with concern.

Kai looked around at his classmates, who were all worried for him. He grinned and said, "I am fine. I am."

That news made Arisa, Felicia, and the others in the group happy.

"Good morning, class!" Speed Girl shouted as soon as she opened the door.

Then everyone sat in their seats.

"Good morning." Everyone greeted back at her.

"First thing I want to say is welcome back, class! I hope you all had a well-deserved rest from the Sports Festival, and I gotta say, this year's festival was so much fun and probably better than when I was at my own Sports Festival around your age," she commented. "Secondly, I like to say welcome back, Mr. Kai Uno! We are happy that you've returned safe and sound!"

Felicia, Arisa, and the others can agree that it was great to see Kai back in class, especially after the strange incident that happened during his fight at the Sports Festival.

"Lastly, today is a special day because I have an important announcement to make!" She announced enthusiastically.

Everyone in class suddenly tensed up their body and became stiff as stone.

'I hope it's not something that means we have to fight a lot,' Arisa thought worriedly.

'I hope it's not a lot of running exercises,' Felicia thought.

"Today..." Speed Girl said dramatically as she waited a few seconds before she gave a wide smile. "We're gonna decide your code names. In other words, your hero names!"

After she said that, there were five seconds of silence until Felicia coughed to break that silence.

"Yeah! Hero Names!" Everyone jumped in excitement.

"Everyone did well at this year's Sports Festival. Due to that, you all and the other students from your neighbor, Class 1-A, became popular and gained a lot of attention from different hero agencies. I will explain about the hero agencies a little bit later, but let me show you all this first," She showed a bar chart on the smart board, which displayed their names and horizontal bars next to them.

"What is that?" Usagi asked.

"Is it a popularity chart, Teach Speed Girl?" Eli questioned.

Speed Girl grinned. "Well kind of, but it's actually a number of offers for each of you. Just to say it again, if you don't remember, I mentioned that there will be draft picks from multiple hero agencies a few days ago. Usually, hero agencies offer you all if you are in your second or third year at this school, but due to your experience and just how hard-working you guys displayed at the Sports Festival, they are just as interested in your future potentials. Isn't that neat? I am sort of envious of you guys to get this special opportunity at such a young age!"

"Sweet," Eli said.

"Awesome!" Usagi exclaimed.

"Intriguing..." Tatsumi commented.

"Brilliant," Felicia stated.

'Wow,' Arisa thought as she smiled and her eyes shined.

"This bar chart shows the number of offers for every one of you. Usually, it's more evenly distributed, and it's more spread out this year than other years before, but a lot of people have their eyes on just one student, and that student is you!" Speed Girl pointed to Yuki Drago. "Yuki Drago with over 4000 offers!"

"Holy Carrot! That's a lot of offers!" Usagi gasped.

"Not too surprising there," Eli smirked.

"Very expected," Ai noted.

"I guess so," Arisa agreed.

"Indeed," Felicia nodded.

"Wait a second. Why is Junko at the bottom?" Maruto asked. "Shouldn't she be higher since she won the tournament and came in first place?"

"Well ... That would make sense, but unfortunately, despite that, a lot of people saw the Sports Festival, most of them couldn't believe what they saw, and some may think it was all a fluke, so she didn't get a lot of offers unexpectedly," the speedy hero explained.

"Then again, I don't think she cares to hear that though ... even if she was listening," Makoto stated, looking over to see Junko sleeping and snoring peacefully without any care in the world.

Felicia and Arisa looked at the bar chart and saw that Usagi, Eli, and Tatsumi have a high number of offers, but not as many as Yuki. The two of them have a good amount of offers, more than the ones that Miru, Makoto, Ai, and Maruto have. Lastly, Kai has no offers.

"Keeping these in mind, whether or not anyone asked you, you will all be participating in internships with pro heroes, which lead to my second announcement!" Speed Girl said excitedly.

'Internships?' Everyone had the same thought.

"You see, you already got an experience with real villains at the USJ Incident, except for Felicia and Arisa who weren't there at the time due to both of you are transfer students, but it will still be meaningful training for you to see how the pros work at firsthand," she explained.

Though now Arisa and Felicia do have experience with real villains because of the Dreamweaver and Rakugaki incidents they were involved in.

"I see. So that explains the hero names then!" Miru realized.

"Correct!" Everyone turned their eyes when someone entered their classroom.

It was a muscular man wearing a typical, standard gym instructor's outfit, including a cap that says, "Fire". His hair was short and black, and there were few scars over his face. He also had a whistle wrapped around his neck, like a necklace.

'Who is he?' Felicia and Arisa thought the same question.

"Honzo, that wasn't the right cue to go in yet!" Speed Girl complained.

"Why the hell would I need to do that?" Mr. Honzo sassed.

"Well, anyway..." the speedy teacher turned her attention back to the class. "Honzo here will be helping us today to come up with hero names. Though it is temporary, the names you come up with may stick with you for the rest of your life. Like when I was a student you age. I went with the simple name and it stuck with me. I could've come up with a better name, but I've grown to it and I like my hero name, so come up with whatever that suits you!"

"Just don't make it sound too silly," Mr. Honzo said.

Everyone was handed a marker board to write their names on it.

"I wonder what my hero name should be? There's so much to think about. Should I base it on my personality, goals, appearance, or Quirk?" Arisa pondered

"For my hero name, it should be something art related because of my Quirk and that I like art. I could try to make it similar to a famous artist, but I want my hero name to be unique. Maybe I should try something simple," Felicia considered.

After a minute or two to think about it, everyone began to announce their names in front of the class, one by one.

"OK! So who wants to go first?" Speed Girl suggested.

"Ooh, ooh! Me, me, me!" Usagi raised her hand excitedly as she hopped constantly with her entire desk wildly.

"Calm down! Are you trying to destroy the school's property?!" Mr. Honzo yelled as part of his face secreted lava, which touched the floor and melted right through it.

"Mr. Honzo, if you get angry and secrete your lava, you will be destroying the classroom's floor or possibly the entire classroom for that matter," Speed Girl warned kindly.

"Ah!" He gasped as he realized he was destroying the school's property in the process.

"Sorry..." Usagi apologized sheepishly as she stopped hopping and just walked over to the teacher's podium and showed her name.

"My hero name is the Bunny Hero: Pyon Pyon!" Usagi announced epically.

"Oooh! That's such a cute name!" Speed Girl awed, showing hearts around her.

"Hmm, I see. So your hero name is an onomatopoeia for a rabbit's noise in Japanese," Mr. Honzo said.

"Yup and the reason I'm calling myself as a Bunny Hero is to pay homage and sort of a tribute to the Rabbit Hero, Mirko," Usagi explained.

"Hm, Mirko, huh? She is someone to look up to, and it makes sense to you since you have the same Quirk as her," Mr. Honzo commented.

"Yup! I've looked up to Mirko ever since I was a little girl, and I always wanted to be like her, and I always wondered if she and I are related," Usagi said, smiling.

The class also wondered that the same thing. Usagi did mention that she join the festival for her lost mother to watch her if she watching the event. Maybe the pro hero Mirko could be her.

'That's nice for Usagi,' Arisa thought. 'Though I'm still having trouble deciding my hero name.'

'Usagi made a good choice,' Felicia thought. 'As for me, my hero name has to represent who I am. Let's see: I want to be both an artist and hero, and my Quirk is Life Paint. Perhaps I can somehow use the words artist, hero, and paint.'

Then a light bulb shined over Felicia's head.

"I think I've got it," Felicia smiled as she wrote down her hero name. "Yes, this name will do."

"Next!" Honzo started as Usagi walked back to her seat.

Miru went up next. "My hero name is the Telepathic Hero: Clairvoya!"

"Cool!" Speed Girl commented.

"Clever name," Mr. Honzo nodded.

"Force Hero: Magnet!" Maruto shouted excitedly.

"Magnificent!" Speed Girl stated.

"Simple, but not bad. Not bad at all," Mr. Honzo said.

"Chance Hero: Japanese Roulette," Makoto said.

"Risky, but awarding!" Speed Girl smiled.

"I will slide with this one," Mr. Honzo decided.

"I'll go next," Felicia thought as she got up and went to the teacher's podium to show her name.

"Paint Hero: Artista," she announced excitedly.

"Very artistic!" Speed Girl happily commented.

"I see, I see. Though are you always going to say that in the same tone for everyone?" Mr. Honzo asked the speedy hero.

"Buggy Hero: Scarablitz!" Eli stated excitedly.

"Wow! Now that is what I call a hero name!" Speed Girl proclaimed.

"Pretty good one," Mr. Honzo commented.

"Phobia Hero: Night Shade," Ai said calmly, yet eerily.

"So scary, but somehow I find it cool!" Speed Girl noted.

"I guess it is a fine name. I guess..." Mr. Honzo was completely sure.

A marker board was dropped from Junko's desk. Makoto noticed and picked it up.

"Excuse me, but it looks like Junko wrote her name. May I announce it for her?" She asked.

Speed Girl and Mr. Honzo looked over to Junko, who was sleeping as usual.

"Fine," Mr. Honzo said with his eye closed and cap down. "Go ahead."

"Thank you, sir." Makoto went up to the podium again to face everyone. "Rest Hero: Slumber."

Nobody had any comment to say since that was very plain and it spoke about Junko a lot. The only ones left were Yuki Drago, Tatsumi, Arisa, and Kai.

'I need to decide to right away. I could use my first name, but that's not special enough. The name Aetheria could work because it's based on my Quirk Aether Power, but it doesn't quite roll off the tongue. Maybe I shouldn't overthink it,' Arisa decided in her mind.

Then she thought about something simple.

'I should focus on my Quirk. It channels visible energy into many different forms of bright attacks,' Arisa thought.

Soon, a light bulb shined over her head.

'I wonder if,' she thought as she wrote down her hero name. 'I think this might be it.'

"Who wants to go next?" Speed Girl asked.

"I am ready," Tatsumi said as he walked over to the podium and showed his name. "My hero name is the Mixing Rider Hero: Kamen Rider Mix!"

Everyone gave the 'oooh' sound when they heard the name.

"I see. So you're going with the name of the Tokusatsu hero from the TV show, right?" the speedy hero asked.

"Yes, but that's just part of it. My dream or rather my goal is to make Tokusatsu heroes a real hero profession," Tatsumi said.

"I see. Then, you better keep that word as a promise, kid. Believing in your goal and doing it are two different things. I look forward to your goal becoming fruition somedays," Mr. Honzo said.

"Th... Thank you, sir!" Tatsumi said gladly.

Everyone gave a round of applause as Tatsumi returned to his seat, with a gleam of pride on his face.

"Now all that's left are, Yuki, Arisa, and Kai," Speed Girl said as she checked the list.

Yuki Drago got up without saying anything and went over to the podium. "My hero name will be known as the Dragonborn Hero: Ryuma."

"That sounds very... authentic! Ryuma sounds nice!" the speedy hero noted.

"Ryuma, huh..." Mr. Honzo repeated as Yuki went back to his seat while everyone gave him applause.

'I have to admit that name is interesting,' Felicia thought.

"Now it's just Arisa and Kai," Speed Girl announced. "Are either of you ready?"

"Would you like to go first, Kai?" Arisa asked politely.

"No thanks. You can go," he insisted.

Arisa nodded to that and went up to face the front of the class. "My hero name is the Energy Hero: Lumina."

"I see! Very cool! May I ask if there is any meaning behind it?" the speedy hero asked.

"Well, there is no meaning to it, but if there is any, then I want to have a hero name that sounds kind, brave, and hopeful for whoever she helps, wherever she goes. I guess that would be the meaning behind it."

Mr. Honzo grinned, which was the first time to show. "I approve it, but what do you think, Speed Girl?"

"Well, I say that's a terrific meaning! I can't wait to see what you can do, Lumina!" She gave a thumbs up to Arisa.

Arisa blushed a little but looked determined. Now, Kai was the only one left.

"Finally, it's Kai Uno's turn! Give it up and cheer for him!" Speed Girl announced excitedly. "Yeah Kai! Go! Yeah!"

Everyone looked at Speed Girl with a sweat-drop as Mr. Honzo had his cape down to hide his embarrassed expression.

"Ah-hem!" Kai fixed his throat. "This is my hero name."

Everyone looked, and most, if not all of them, looked surprised.

"Kai? Are you sure about that? You know it's just your name," his sister pointed out.

"It's fine," he said, without looking at her.

"Well, it is temporary, so I guess it's fine for now," she accepted as Kai returned to his seat. "Well, thank you, everyone! Now, about the internships with the pros that I mentioned, Mr. Honzo and I have some paper forms with a list offers for every one of you. Please read it through and give it back to me or Mr. Honzo when you have made your decision."

"Just be aware that you must give it back before the weekend," Mr. Honzo ordered.

"Wait, but that's only like two days!" Usagi exclaimed.

"Then you better start thinking if I were you," Mr. Honzo said before he left the class with Speed Girl.

"Just want to say that you guys thought of some of the coolest names, y'all!" Eli commented.

"Not as cool as yours, dude," Usagi replied. "Scarablitz sounds so awesome! I bet the villains will shiver just to hear that name."

"To be honest, Clairvoya is a name I thought up at the last moment," Miru admitted.

"Me too," Makoto added.

"That's OK. I think both those names sound lovely," Felicia commented, which made Miru and Makoto prouder.

"Your hero name Artista is pretty great, Felicia," Usagi commented.

"True that," Eli said.

"It sure is," Makoto agreed.

"It really describes you and your Quirk," Miru added.

"Oh, thank you," Felicia smiled.

The four of them then noticed Tatsumi posing with a victory fist, which confused them. The girls watched Eli go talk to them.

"Yo, Tatsumi! Hey!" Eli snapped him out of his thought, and Tatsumi looked up at him. "What's with the guts pose, bro? Something excited happen?"

Tatsumi nodded. "Yeah! In my list of agencies, I am accepted at Droid-Cop Agency!"

"Droid-Cop?" Usagi repeated. "Who is Droid-Cop?"

Tatsumi was shocked. "What?! You don't know Droid-Cop?"

He jumped on Usagi, which surprised her a lot, as well as Eli, Miru, Makoto, and Felicia. "Ah, sorry, but no I don't," she admitted as she sweat-dropped.

"I've heard about him. He's that famous Pro Hero in Kyoto, and I heard he has his own Tv show," Eli stated.

"Holy Carrot! Really?" Usagi asked surprisingly.

"That's right! He is a famous Tokusatsu Hero, but also works as a Pro Hero, too and his agency is on my list here!" Tatsumi pointed to his paper. "I am definitely going to sign up for my internship."

"It's all because it's one more step for your dream to become a reality," Miru stated as Tatsumi and the others looked at the girl. "Sorry, but I read your mind when I noticed how excited you look."

"Oh, well no problem! I would've admitted it anyway because of how excited I am," Tatsumi admitted.

His classmates smiled and felt happy for him. Though, Miru looked over to Kai. "Though, too bad not all of us is getting an offer for an internship."

They remembered that earlier in class, the teachers showed the bar chart on internship offers for each student. Kai Uno was the only one with zero offers.

"Yeah, that sucks and I think Kai did well in the Sports Festival. I thought he would get at least a few offers," Eli noted.

"Me too," Usagi agreed.

"Indeed," Felicia said.

"The world isn't too nice for sure," Tatsumi said but kept his happy composure, "Well. I'm going to sign this now and hand it to Speed Girl immediately! See you guys!"

Tatsumi ran off quickly, surprising them. "Holy Carrot! He's fast!" Usagi gasped.

"Gotta go fast," Eli joked.

"Yeah..." Miru nodded as she sweat-dropped.

Felicia and Makoto sweat-dropped as well.

"So do you all know who you're going to do your internship with?" Felicia asked her classmates. "I assume you, Usagi, will intern with the Rabbit Hero Mirko."

"You bet I will," Usagi smiled and gave her a thumbs-up.

"Not yet. I'm gonna decide later at home," Eli said.

"Me too," Miru agreed.

"Same here," Makoto answered. "What about you, Felicia?"

"Well, I think I'm going to look at my list now to see what my choices are," she admitted, looking at her paper and leaving her classmates to talk among themselves.

"Even though I didn't get as many offers as some of the others did, there are a lot of hero agencies on this list. I wonder who I should intern with?" Felicia pondered.

Out of the corner of her eye, she saw her friend Yuki get up from his desk, with his list in hand, and walk out the door. No one noticed him leave, except her.

"I guess Yuki already decided who he wants to intern with," she thought.

Meanwhile, Arisa was at her desk, looking at her list of offers.

"Wow, there are so many hero agencies to choose from. Though I wonder which one would be right for me?" Arisa thought.

For a moment she looked at Kai, and felt sad for him.

"I feel bad that Kai didn't get any offers. Maybe he needs some cheering up. I'll do that after I check my list," Arisa decided.

Then she noticed one particular agency on her list.

"What?" Arisa's mind was shocked.

Before she can think about that, she saw Kai getting ready to leave.

"Kai!" She grabbed his attention. "I ... I noticed that you didn't get any offers when your sister, ah I mean, our teacher showed the chart."

"I know," he replied. "And I don't mind it, It makes sense anyway since I was dropped out midway of the tournament."

"I guess that makes sense, but still, you were so good in the festival. I mean, especially that Quirk... ah!" Arisa quickly covered her mouth.

"What did you say?" Kai asked.

"Um, nothing! Anyway, I, uh, need to go and use the girl's restroom!" She quickly ran out of the classroom and headed left even though the girl's restroom was at the right.

The class noticed Arisa leaving suddenly, including her friend Felicia.

"Holy Carrot! What was that about?" Usagi was surprised.

"I got no clue," Eli was confused.

"Huh? I don't know what happened, but I think I should go check on her," Felicia thought.

With her mind made up, Felicia got up from her desk and went after her friend.

In the hall, Arisa had her back to the wall and was catching her breath from the running she did.

'I can't believe I almost talked to Kai about his Quirk,' she thought with worry.

While Arisa was thinking, she didn't notice Felicia approaching her.

"Arisa, are you okay?" Felicia asked her friend.

Arisa thought about lying to her, but decided not to.

"No, I'm not," she admitted with a frown.

"Do you want to talk about it?" Felicia questioned her.

"I guess so," Arisa decided.

"Okay," Felicia accepted. "But first things first, were you going somewhere after you talked to Kai?"

"Yes. I said I was going to the restroom" Arisa revealed.

"Then let's walk and talk," Felicia said.

"But it's in the other end of the hall," Arisa pointed behind her.

"How about we take the long way around?" Felicia suggested.

"Okay," Arisa accepted as they began walking.

"What happened when you were talking with Kai?" Felicia questioned her.

"Well, I was trying to cheer him up because he didn't get any internship offers, but then I mentioned his Quirk and I felt scared," Arisa recounted.

"Why?" Felicia asked.

"Remember when I told you that I can relate to Kai and his Quirk?" Arisa reminded her.

Felicia remembered back to the Sports Festival. When something terrible almost happened to Kai with his Quirk after he won his fight against Yuki. After that, she, Arisa, some of their classmates, and some of the Class 1-A students figured out that Kai's Quirk might be dangerous. Then she remembered back to the Dreamweaver incident. In the dream world, Arisa revealed her worries with controlling her Quirk, which made her concerned for Kai.

"Yes," Felicia nodded.

"Well, I didn't tell you at first because I'm sensitive with talking about my Quirk's problems. So I thought Kai might feel the same way, and he might get sad or mad at me for bringing up his Quirk," Arisa explained.

"I see your point," Felicia understood. "Is there anything else?"

"Actually, I would like to tell Kai that I can relate to his problem with his Quirk so he doesn't feel alone. The thing is I don't know when is the right time," Arisa added.

"Well, you can either wait for the right time or make it happen yourself," Felicia suggested.

"Maybe," Arisa replied uncertain.

'I hope you can do that Arisa. For both Kai and yourself,' Felicia thought.

Once the girls reached the bathroom, they used it and returned to class.

After their classes ended, Felicia and Arisa talked while heading back to the Emerald Shade.

"So Felicia, do you know who you want to intern with?" Arisa asked.

"No, not really," Felicia sadly revealed. "I hope I can make my choice either tonight or tomorrow What about you?"

"I'm not sure myself, but I'm surprised by which agency is on my list," Arisa sadly sad.

"Which is it?" Felicia was curious.

"Endeavor Agency," Arisa revealed.

"What? Really?" Felicia was surprised.

"Yes," Arisa admitted. "Though I'm not sure if I should intern with him because of what he did to me, Shoto, and his mom in the past."

"I see your point," Felicia understood. "However, I think you should take the offer."

"Why?" Arisa asked.

"Because if you do want to be a great Pro Hero, then this a great once in a lifetime opportunity to learn from the number 2 hero," Felicia explained.

"Well, I'll think about it," Arisa considered.

In her room, Arisa was at the dining room table, looking at one particular agency on the hero agencies list.

'I still can't believe Endeavor Agency is on my list,' Arisa thought with shock. 'I don't think I should intern with him.'

Then she remembered back to what Felicia said.

'Or maybe I should. Even though I don't like Endeavor, he could have something useful to teach. Plus I could use the help because of what happened recently,' Arisa had second thoughts.

First, she remembered back to the Dreamweaver incident. She defeated Jouko Gumo, who was the Dreamweaver, but had help from Felicia and Junko, and it was in the dream world. Then she remembered during the Rakugaki incident, she almost lost to Nozzle if it weren't for Speed Girl saving her. Also, in fight against the leader Danji, she just put up a barrier and turned on a giant headlight.

"Maybe interning with Endeavor can help me learn something important to make myself stronger. That way I can protect the people I care about," Arisa made up her mind and signed the paper.

'I wonder what my parents will think of my choice,' Arisa thought.

Suddenly, she remembered of a certain rule of the Student Hero Exchange Program.

'If UA High tells my previous school about my choice, then my parents will know about it. They will definitely be against it because of what Endeavor did in the past. I have to make sure my previous school doesn't get told. Maybe I can ask Speed Girl for help tomorrow,' Arisa pondered.

In her room, Felicia was sitting on her bed, looking at the list and having trouble picking an agency.

'Blimey! There are so many agencies to choose from. I just can't decide, and I don't want to make the wrong choice,' Felicia thought anxiously.

She lied down on bed, unsure of which agency to pick.

'Maybe I should draw in my sketchbook for a bit. That should clear my head,' Felicia decided.

She went to her closet to get her sketchbook, and when she did, she saw something else in there: a plushie of the pro hero Uwabami.

'Oh, I forgot I had this plushie here,' Felicia thought.

She remembered that she got that plushie from the arcade when she and Arisa hung out with Toru and Mina from Class 1-A. That happened on the day before the Sports Festival began.

"Wait, I think her name was on the agency list," Felicia tried to remember.

With her sketchbook and plushie in hand, she put them on her bed as she went back to it to check the list. When she saw 'Uwabami Hero Office' on it, she checked for the pro hero on her phone.

"Uwabami is both a pro hero and a celebrity, specifically a model, and she works in rescue missions," Felicia read.

That reminded her of the Rakugaki incident. During that, Felicia and Arisa met Mariko Tsuji, who went by the name MT back then. When the little girl explained how she wanted to be an artist instead of a hero, like her older sister Karen wanted her to do, Felicia convinced her to try to do both. Hearing that also made Felicia decide she would be both a hero and artist.

"I think I will choose her," Felicia signed the paper.

The next day, Arisa and Felicia discussed about their internship choices on the way to UA High.

"So Felicia, which agency did you pick for your internship?" Arisa wondered.

"I chose the Uwabami Hero Office," Felicia responded.

"That sounds like a nice choice," Arisa commented.

"What about you, Arisa? Which one did you pick?" Felicia inquired.

"Well, I chose... Endeavor Agency," Arisa hesitated.

"Really?" Felicia was happy and surprised. "How did you decide?"

"Even though I don't quite like Endeavor and I can't forget what he did, I think I can learn something from him to so I can become stronger to protect the people I care about," Arisa admitted.

"Okay then. I just hope you'll be alright," Felicia was concerned.

"I will be," Arisa assured her friend.

At UA High, the two girls really wanted to hand in their papers right away. Coincidentally, they saw Honzo in the hall and gave him their signed papers, which he accepted. Then Arisa and Felicia headed to class.

Time went by as soon it was lunch time. In the cafeteria, Felicia and Arisa got their lunch and sat with the rest of the Class 1-L girls. Just as they finished, Arisa saw Speed Girl going to the hall and decided now was the best time to talk to her.

"Arisa, where are you going?" Felicia questioned her.

"There's something I have to do. I'll see you all in class," Arisa told the group before going after the speedy hero.

The group of girls was left confused.

In the hall, Arisa caught up to Speed Girl.

"Speed Girl, wait," Arisa got her attention as her homeroom teacher turned to face hero.

"Arisa. Do you need something?" the speedy hero asked.

"Yes. I wondering if my original school can not be told about the agency I will take my intership at," Arisa stated.

"I'm sorry I can't do that," Speed Girl answered.

"Why?" Arisa wanted to know.

"According to the policy of the Hero Exchange Student Program, the teacher who is taking care of the exchange students, which is me, must make a monthly report for each student's progress at school and daily life," Speed Girl reasoned.

"Oh," Arisa frowned.

"Why are you asking?" the speedy hero wondered.

"Because Shoto Todoroki from Class 1-A and I are childhood friends. When we were kids, his dad Endeavor did something that made my parents get a restraining order so the two of us couldn't be friends anymore. If my parents find out I chose Endeavor Agency for my internship, they might say no and I do want to intern there," Arisa revealed.

"I can understand how you feel, Arisa, but I can't promise to bend the rules for you because then UA High and I will be in trouble. I think you should talk to your parents about your decision," Speed Girl suggested.

"All right, but I was wondering if you can help me with that," Arisa said.

"Sure thing," the speedy hero agreed. "How about after classes are over we talk to them together?"

"Okay," Arisa nodded.

When lunchtime and the rest of the classes after that were over, Felicia and Arisa were talking in the hall and getting ready to leave.

Suddenly, Felicia heard her text alert and checked her phone to see she got a text from her friend Yuki.

YD: Need to talk to you alone. Waiting outside at the school gate.

FM: Okay, but Arisa and I walk back to our apartment together. Would you mind talking to her too?

YD: I guess so.

FM: Alright. We will see u soon.

Felicia finished the text and put her phone away.

"Who was the text from?" Arisa questioned her friend.

"Just Yuki. He said he needs to talk me about something, but didn't say what. Also, he's waiting outside for me," Felicia explained.

"Oh. But you and I walk back to the Emerald Shade together. I'll feel awkward if I'm there," Arisa frowned.

"Don't worry," Felicia assured her. "I told him you're with me and he's okay with you being there."

"Well, alright then," Arisa admitted.

After that, Speed Girl approached them.

"Arisa," the speedy hero started. "It's time."

Arisa nodded in agreement, but Felicia was confused by what their homeroom teacher was talking about.

"What does she mean?" Felicia asked her friend.

"There's something important I have to do now with Speed Girl. Can I explain it to you back at the apartment?" Arisa asked.

"Indeed. Can we talk about it in my room?" Felicia suggested.

"Sure," Arisa nodded.

"Okay. I'll see you later," Felicia accepted as she began leaving to the Emerald Shade.

"Let's go to the conference room" Speed Girl told Arisa, who followed her.

Just outside of the school, Felicia reached the front gate and saw her friend Yuki waiting.

"Hello, Felicia," he greeted her.

"Hello, Yuki," she greeted back.

Yuki saw that she was alone, and not with Arisa.

"Where is your friend Kawasaki?" Yuki asked.

"She had to do something important, and we agreed that I would go ahead back to the apartment," Felicia answered. "So it looks we will get to talk alone after all."

"Very well then," he accepted. "Can we walk while we talk?"

"Sure," she nodded as they both started walking.

"How did you know I was still at school?" Felicia wondered.

"In the hall, I saw you talking with your friend Kawasaki. I knew at some point you would leave so I texted you before I left the school and waited outside," Yuki explained.

"Well, you're lucky Arisa had something to do. Otherwise the conversation could have been awkward," she stated.

"What do you mean? I wouldn't have felt awkward," he was confused.

Felicia sweat-dropped for he didn't get it.

"I meant that Arisa would have felt awkward because you wanted to talk to me," she pointed out.

Yuki took a moment to think about it.

"Oh. I see your point," he realized with a calm face.

"Anyway, what did you want to talk about?" Felicia questioned him.

"I've decided to try to make a friend at my internship," Yuki told her.

"Really? That's great," Felicia smiled. "Speaking of the internship, which agency did you choose?"

"I chose the Ryukyu Agency," he answered.

"That sounds like a smashing choice. Did you choose it because Ryukyu and you have dragon-like Quirks?"

"Yes. She's also my aunt," Yuki casually added.

"Blimey! She is?" Felicia was surprised.

"Yes," he nodded. "However, I don't think I can make a friend on my own."

"Well, there's not much to it. You just have to be nice is all and talk to the interns," she assured him.

"Yes, but I know so little about making friends," he stated.

Hearing that, Felicia decided to offer her help.

"If you want, you can call me or text me if you have any questions," she suggested.

"If you insist, very well," he agreed, which made Felicia glad.

"Jolly good to hear. Though this means one thing," she stopped walking for a moment, and so did Yuki.

She pointed at him saying, "You will address me as your friendship teacher."

Felicia saw that Yuki had a usual calm look on his face. Then she closed her eyes and happily thought, 'Ah joking. The sometimes fun part of friendship. I wonder what Yuki will think of my joke.'

When Felicia opened her eyes, she was surprised to see Yuki bowing to her as he said, "Yes, sir."

With people staring at them, Felicia felt embarrassed and explained to him what she did.

"Yuki, I was just joking," she admitted. "You don't really have to call me a friendship teacher."

He lifted his head and body as he looked her and calmly replied, "Oh. Okay."

In response, Felicia tilted her head down and sighed as she thought, 'It seems I have a lot to teach him.'

-My Hero Academia-

A few minutes later, Arisa and Speed Girl reached the conference room.

It's a spacious room with light blue paint, large pane glass windows, and some potted plants. In the center is a large conference table made up of three desks and with plenty of chairs.

On the table is an open laptop and it was turned on. When they got to it, Arisa saw her parents on webcam.

"Hi mom. Hi dad," Arisa greeted them.

"Hello Arisa. It's good to see you," Her mom said.

"It sure is," Her dad agreed. "You're homeroom teacher said there was something you wanted to tell us. What is it?"

Arisa readied herself for what she had to tell them.

"We're doing internships next week, and I've chosen to do mine at the Endeavor Agency," Arisa stated.

Her parents were shocked into a moment of silence before they responded, "What?"

"Arisa, I don't think you should intern there," Her mom was worried.

"I agree. There are plenty of other great agencies you can intern at," Her dad suggested. "Remember what Endeavor did when you were a kid."

Arisa had an uncertain look on her face as she was reminded of what Endeavor's methods did to Shoto, his mom, and her.

Then Arisa remembered Shoto telling her about him being the hero he wants to be and saving his mom, and Felicia encouraging her to intern at Endeavor Agency.

That changed the expression on Arisa's face into a confident one.

"Mom. Dad." Arisa started. "I know you're both worried for me because of how Endeavor is like. Honestly, I can't forget what he did or forgive him either. However, this is a great once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to learn from the number 2 hero, even if it is Endeavor. I think interning with him can help me become a great Pro Hero who can protect the people."

After listening to what Arisa said, her parents still weren't quite convinced.

"Mind if I say something," Speed Girl joined in. "I assure you if something wrong happens between your daughter and Endeavor, I'll make sure either she interns at a different agency or she can work with me."

With that said, Arisa's parent looked at each other before making their decision.

"Arisa, even though we're against the idea of you interning with Endeavor, we've decided to let you do it," her mom said.

"Really?" Arisa asked.

"Yes, because we know how important it is for you to be the hero you want to be. Just promise us you will be careful around Endeavor," her dad said.

"I will," Arisa nodded.

"Alright then. We have to go now because we need to get dinner ready now. Call us anytime Arisa," her dad told her.

"Bye Arisa," her mom waved to her daughter.

"Bye mom and dad," Arisa waved back as the chat ended.

Arisa looked to Speed Girl, who asked, "How do you feel?"

"I feel good now," she assured her homeroom teacher.

"Great to hear," Speed Girl gave her a thumbs-up. "Now you should head home now because you've got school tomorrow."

"Right," Arisa nodded and left the conference room, feeling better about her internship.

Meanwhile, Felicia and Yuki parted ways later, and she headed back to the Emerald Shade.

In her room, Felicia immediately had dinner, took a shower, and changed into her pajamas. She wore a light-green shirt with the word "ART" written in white inside of a pink heart, and dark blue shorts.

Right now, she was on her bed, drawing in her sketchbook while waiting for Arisa.

Sometime soon, Arisa arrived at the Emerald Shade and made her way to Felicia's room. Then she knocked on the door.

"Who is it?" Felicia asked.

"It's Arisa," her friend replied.

"Come in," Felicia said.

With that, Arisa opened the door, closed it, and found Felicia on her bed. When she saw Arisa, Felicia put down her sketchbook.

"Hello, Arisa," Felicia greeted. "So what did you do with Speed Girl at school?"

"I needed her help to tell my parents about my internship choice because I thought they wouldn't agree to it," Arisa explained.

"What did your parents say?" Felicia inquired.

"They were against it at first, but Speed Girl and I convinced them to let me do it," Arisa stated.

"Brilliant," Felicia commented.

Arisa then noticed the sketchbook on Felicia's bed.

"Is that yours?" Arisa questioned her.

"Yes, I draw in my sketchbook whenever I get the chance for fun, or when I need to clear my head," Felicia answered.

"It would it be okay if I see it?" Arisa asked.

"Sure," Felicia handed it to her.

Arisa checked the book and saw some amazing drawings of the Kiyashi Ward Shopping Mall, the Musutafu Museum of Natural and Heroic History, and the Class 1-L girls.

"Wow, these drawings are incredible," Arisa commented, returning the sketchbook to Felicia.

"Thank you. I try my best," Felicia responded, accepting the book back.

"Well, I should be getting ready for bed now. See you tomorrow," Arisa started to leave the room.

"Indeed. I will be good to bed myself. See you tomorrow," Felicia waved to her friend.

After that, Felicia put away her sketchbook and pencil, got into bed, and went to sleep.

Arisa made it back to her room, where she had her dinner, took a shower, and changed into her pajamas. She wore a blue shirt with white stars and blue shorts with red stripes.

As she was getting ready for bed, she got some a text from her childhood friend Shoto.

ST: Hello Arisa. How are you?

AK: I'm fine.

ST: Good. Did you pick your internship?

AK: Sure did. How about you?

ST: Yes. Good luck at it.

AK: Thanks. Same to you.

With the text done, Arisa thought, 'I'm glad Shoto didn't ask me who I chose. I'm afraid he might start something with Endeavor that could get him in trouble. I'll just tell him after the week is done.'

Then Arisa put her phone on her nightstand and went to sleep.

As the days went by, Speed Girl gave her students the suitcases with their hero costumes in them because they would need them for their internships. Felicia and Arisa were glad their hero costumes were still good after they used them against the Rakugaki.

Then Sunday was quickly here. Arisa and Felicia decided to spend the day in their rooms so they wouldn't be tired for tomorrow.

Arisa spent her time reading a book and watching TV. Felica spent her time watching TV too and drawing in her sketchbook.

In her room, Arisa got texts from her friends Sadie and Gabriel in a group chat while her watching her show.

SF: Hey Arisa. How you been?

GM: Anything interesting happen?

AK: I'm fine. Thanks for asking. I spent time with my friends from class and went to a museum during the break from the Sports Festival. Going to start my internship tomorrow.

SF: Sounds like a you had a nice break. Great to know your doing your internship. Can't wait to hear how it turns out.

GM: Hope you do some hero work at your internship.

AK: Thanks.

-My Hero Academia-

Meanwhile, Felicia got texts from her parents in a group chat while she was drawing in her sketchbook. She put down her pencil and book, and reached for her phone.

Mom: Hello Felicia. How are you?

Dad: Anything interesting happen?

FM: I'm fine. I spent time with some of my classmates during the break and went to a museum. Tomorrow I start my internship.

Mom: Really? That sounds wonderful.

Dad: I hope you have a smashing time at your internship, sweetie.

FM: Thanks mother and father

Just as Felicia was about to go back to drawing, she got texts from her friends Cordelia and William in a group chat too.

CF: Hi Felicia. How have you been doing?

WP: Anything smashing happen?

FM: I'm wonderful. I spent time with some of my classmates, went to a mueseum, and made friends with my classmate Yuki Drago. Tomorrow I start my internship.

WP: That does sound smashing to me.

CF: Brilliant. Yuki Drago? The dragon-guy from the Sports Festival?

FM: Yes.

WP: He was strong in those fights of his.

CF: Good to know you're friends with him. What is he like?

FM: He's nice.

WP: I hope you have a jolly good time at your internship.

CF: Tells us how it goes when it's over.

FM: Sure thing, and thanks.

Those wonderful messages from home made the girls feel happy for the rest of the day. Then they went to sleep, knowing they needed a good night's rest. For tomorrow would be the day when they and the rest of the UA High students would start their internships.
