Omipotent X - I wasn't really sure how to handle that chapter, and thinking back on it, Momo is definitely too young for those kind of acts, so I decided to reign those kinds of chapters in. Still, glad you liked it.

A/N: To any Naruto fans out there, I ask you this: what's Recovery Girl's real name, and that's the reason for Kyoya's brother's name.

The universe seemed to favor him today. He finished paperwork early and completed the daily walk of his workplace. It was nice to finally have a break from the mountain of paperwork. Being one of the best doctors in Japan did have its disadvantages. Aside from the villainous paperwork, he had to make sure his employees were on task and the patients were well take care of.

'I hate being stuck in that office. I swear, we get new patients every day.'

After All Might's early retirement and Endeavor's ascension to No. 1 Hero, villains have become more reckless and active. Heroes have been working harder to pick up the reigns All Might placed down; however, no one could replace the sense of security All Might provided. Although Endeavor had the higher capture count, he could not replicate what made All Might so blinding, and people weren't afraid to admit it.

'That's why I hate our society. The big guy's now gone and suddenly, everyone starts questioning the credibility of other heroes. It makes me sick.'

The kind doctor found himself in Musutafu, where he saw the statute of All Might standing proud over the city he protected. People had gathered to take photos and selfies under the previous number one hero's monument.

'You got big shoes to fill, and these people will never be happy with the change.'

The doctor turned to walk away, but the vibration of his phone forced him to pause.

"Well, speak of the devil."

When Izuku was invited by All Might to meet an old acquaintance, he was excited. The whole trip, the enthusiastic ninth holder of One for All stayed on the edge of his seat, asking about the individual All Might was taking him to see.

"I said acquaintance, but I hardly know a lot about him," the retired hero told him, "He's like a clairvoyant, but without seeing the future. I have another friend, a real one, you'll be meeting soon for that."

"How would you describe the one we're going to see?"

Toshinori shuddered a bit, akin to how he felt when Gran Torino, his mentor, was brought up.

"Intimidating. It seems a lot of people I meet in the past are intimidating."

Izuku gasped, "Even more than Gran Torino?"

There was a small pause before All Might answered.

"It depends on how you see him."

Izuku swallowed the lump in his throat. The excitement he exuded turned into nervousness as he imagined the man to be. The most intimating man he could think of off the bat was Endeavor or Stain. To be even more frightening, Izuku shuddered like his predecessor.

Takoba Municipal Beach Park held a lot of memories for the duo. This was where Izuku trained his body to be more suitable for the intense power of the quirk bestowed upon him. Where once stood a junkyard now stood a beautiful dating spot for couples of once again enjoy thanks to Izuku's hard work.

"I asked him to meet us here. Thankfully, his schedule wasn't overbooked," All Might led the boy to the gazebo, "There he is."

Izuku followed wordlessly as the thumping of his chest started to accelerate. The instant his foot touched the wooden pier, a wave of emotion blew in his face. Like with his encounter with Stain, someone emitted a bloodlust that paralyzed their targets to the core. However, this was different. There were other people around, but they hardly noticed, if not noticed at all.

He was the only one under its influence. His heart was pounding, soul screaming at him to get away, but there was a force behind it that refused to let him do that.

"It's okay, Young Midoriya," All Might's reassuring voice broke through Izuku's fright, "He won't harm you."

The retired hero fearlessly walked through the wave of bloodlust. Halfway there, the emanator leaned off the railing and stood up straighter.

"You didn't need to do that," said All Might.

His response was a laugh by the mystery person.

"I had to see how strong his will is. I'll give him points for sticking around, but he can still use a little work."

The red-headed gentleman, whose hair was slicked back, turned around and faced the duo. He was younger looking than Izuku expected, with shimmering silver eyes. He wore formal attire, a gray suit over a white vest and black tie and was built similarly to Iida in stature but was less lean.

"So, to what do I owe this pleasure?"

"H-Hi! I'm Izuku Midoriya, nice to meet you!" the green-haired powerhouse bowed, "A-All Might said you're like a clairvoyant. Um, is this true?"

"Pleasure, Midoriya-kun," the doctor nodded back, "Sasori Shuzenji. Doctor Shuzenji if you'd please call me."

"Shuzenji?" Izuku raised his head, "Are you related to Kyoya Shuzenji and Recovery Girl?"

"That's right, the elder brother and first grandson," he looked on with pride, "I've heard a lot about you from my little brother and grandma. You've earned quite the title, Problem Child."

'Yep, I was waiting for it.' Izuku wanted to cry but held back his tears.

"But, in a way, yes, I'm a psychic like my brother. Although, clairvoyant is a bit of a stretch. I don't see visions of the future. I feel the energy of the universe and make an educated guess based on the fluctuations," as he spoke, a cyan-blue light came to life. "Discord fluctuates like wildfire, so my brother and I use our psychic powers to gauge this discord. He determines a person's daily luck, unable to go further than that. I on the other hand," he clapped his hands together, "Can go even further beyond."

Doctor Shuzenji closed his eyes and let his quirk work its magic.

"I'm aware of the rivalry between All for One and One for All. Since you are the next holder of the latter, it comes with a lot of weight. Step forward, and I will tell you what the Spirits have in store for you."

Izuku straightened up and did as the doctor requested.

Doctor Shuzenji extended his left hand out while weaving his right fingers through various hand signs, ending with the pointer and middle finger stretched up.

"You have a strong heart," he complimented, easing Izuku's worries, "I understand it's been through many ordeals," his outstretched hand closed except for the pointer finger, which touched Izuku's forehead, "Sadly, your heart, body, and soul will be put to the test yet again. Your devotion is an admirable quality, but the Spirits will see that it wavers. They will constantly push you until there's nothing left of your inner self except a withering husk. Please note that the Spirits only care about their own entertainment. It will be in your hands how you face their wrath, but if you buckle down and manage to overcome the walls placed before you, you'll be rewarded handsomely. That's all I can say on the matter."

The doctor opened his eyes and canceled Psychokinesis. His glow faded, and the incredible power radiating off him ceased.

'I felt it, but its magnitude is far greater than Shuzenji-senpai's. What incredible efficiency. How strong is he at full power?' Izuku pondered.

"That's my fortune," the doctor continued speaking, "Now, that doesn't mean everything is set in stone. Variables can change, but that's the message I'm getting from your discord."

"That's incredible. If you can read all that, then I wonder if," and Izuku's iconic rant came out full throttle, much to All Might's facepalm, and the doctor's questioning look.

"Does he always?"

"Every time," replied the retired hero, "Every time."

"Oh! Sorry," Izuku scratched his head apologetically, "I have a bad habit of muttering when I'm thinking."

"Work on that if you're ever on a reconnaissance mission. You'll accidentally give away your position to the enemy."

"Right, I'll remember that. So, what else does this discord tell you? Is it from the space around, or does every individual carry a different amount?"

This was the first time someone cared about the inner workings of his future reading. Many disregard it as foolish palm reading, despite not having the palm touched.

'Hmm, guess not everyone cares about the flashiness of a person's quirk."

"It's everywhere," he answered, "There's energy flowing from all around us, not just in the air, but with living creatures too. Compared to others, though, you have one of the strongest levels of discord."

"Really?" Izuku started to sweat.

"Indeed. I urge you to be careful. If the stories my grandma tells me are true, you're a danger magnet."

"You're not wrong," Izuku scratched his curly hair, "Thank you, though, for the fortune-telling."

"It's what I do, just don't get carried away with this hero business. Things are just getting started, and if there is one piece of advice I strongly encourage you to follow, it's to not mix responsibility with self-sacrifice."

"What do you mean?" Izuku was genuinely confused.

"It's something people get confused all the time. Contrary to belief, the two are not the same. They just work in tandem. You're working on becoming a professional hero, right?"

"That's right."

"Okay, a hero acts as a role model for people to look up to. Your responsibility as a hero is to uphold the law and treat the population equally while protecting civilians from harm. Those are your responsibilities, something you are held accountable for. This doesn't mean you are obligated to sacrifice your own health to uphold these responsibilities. You choose to save everyone, you choose to forgo daily necessities to appease the people, but that doesn't mean you have to. Many times have heroes suffered just because they wanted to ensure everyone's safety, but let me ask you, how many heroes are out there in the world?"

"Are you talking figuratively?"

"Millions, Midoriya-kun," Doctor Shuzenji stated, "Literally, millions of heroes are available, and some choose to put the entire weight of the world on their shoulders and break themselves down until their bodies no longer work," Izuku noticed the doctor glaring at All Might as he preached.

The skeletal man remained quiet, his head turned to the side, and face stiff.

"We have our work cut out for us," All Might placed a hand on Young Midoriya's shoulder, "You should take the rest of the day off, and I'll see you back at school tomorrow."

"A-Alright, All Might. I get to see my mom at least."

The spirited ninth holder of One for All, knowing it was an adult chat from then on, left the bigger men to their business.

"He's a good boy," the doctor spoke up, "however, I already know his character. He's going to be just like you."

"I," All Might sighed, "I know, and it frightens me."

"Then you're going to be even more scared. I lied about his discord level."

"How so?"

"I said it was one of the highest I've ever recorded. It's not. It's THE highest. I don't know what the Spirits have against him, but he will NOT stay the same boy you brought before me. Something is going to change, and he's going to be at its focal point."

"What do you suggest?" All Might had to ask.

Doctor Shuzenji shrugged and shook his head in response.

"He heeds my advice and comes out with his heart and soul intact. If he doesn't, well, that remains to be seen."

"I see, and what about All for One?"

"Still in maximum security, and his minions are still in hiding. I have markers in the underground, so nothing is getting by me. There is some talk though of a special kind of drug being made."

"What kind?"

"I'm not sure of all the details, but activity is aggressive. I need to look more into it, but my workload is getting busier," he checked his phone, "I wish we could continue this chat, but I have somewhere to be."

"Thank you for your time."

The doctor waved it off and left without saying a word, his previous statements weighing heavily on the retired hero's mind.

"With my retirement comes a new wave of problems to face," he sighed heavily and faced the ocean, gazing at the open horizon, "Stay strong, Young Midoriya. Things might be getting tougher, but I know you and your generation will pull through. Your hearts are some of the strongest I've ever seen."
