Omnipotent X - Brother, that was Kyoya's brother, not father. As for the discord thing, yeah, I'm glad you got that.

When Momo invited her boyfriend over for dinner, she did not expect the evening to end so disastrously. It was supposed to be a pleasant date with her boyfriend, who would finally meet her parents. It was a big unavoidable step, but Momo had high hopes that the event would be successful.

Oh, how her hopes were dashed in mere moments.

'It was not supposed to end this way.'

The Spirits, as Kyoya called them, were incredibly displeased tonight. The dinner date with the folks did not go as well as Momo had hoped. Not only was her boyfriend an hour late because of outside forces, but he was also attacked an additional two times since arriving at the Yaoyorozu household.

Moments before the psychic found himself groaning in pain, he was being escorted to the dining room. He cleaned up nicely again and had his mental notes memorized. He aimed to win his girl's parents over, but then, the power went out in the mansion. Amongst the pitch-black darkness, panic ensued, and the Spirits decided to roll the dice.

One of the maids, bless her heart, lost sight of her destination and therefore, the large shelf standing in her path. Startled by the blackout, the servant slammed into the furniture right before Kyoya used Psychokinesis as a flashlight. Unfortunately, it was already too late. As the shelf tumbled, Kyoya was the unlucky soul crushed by its weight, flatten on the ground with the heavy mahagony fixture on top of him.

"Oh my god! Sir, are you alright?!"

Second, after the backup generators restored power to the mansion, events proceeded smoothly. Until the Spirits decided to act once more.

The masters of the house finally got to meet Kyoya, whose mood had dampened but not soured completely.

"It's finally nice to meet you, Shuzenji-san," greeted Momo's father.

"Our daughter told us a lot about you," said Momo's mom.

Kyoya bowed and used Kitty's newly made whiteboard to formally introduced himself.

"Thank you for having me. I'm Kyoya Shuzenji. I'm deeply sorry about my tardiness."

'Nailed it, Kyoya. Nailed it. You can still save face, just stay calm.'

In his mental gloat, the psychic let his guard down. Another mistake.

A different servant wheeled out the meals but lost her footing. In her flailing, the plates flew off the cart and soared at Kyoya. If not for Psychokinesis, the young man would be slathered in various foods, sauces, and liquids. With expert control, Kyoya neatly arranged the dishes, impressing Momo's parents with the fluidity of his quirk.

Slyly, he sent Kitty a wink. However, again, he let his concentration waver slightly, and so, the psychic was unable to dodge the drinks that followed after the food. In his mental gloating, his clothing suffered and needed washing. Again.

He couldn't take more of the punishment. Something had to give.

'Fucking Sprits!'

After freshening up for the second time, Kyoya wanted to leave, but the storm was still raging, and he couldn't abandon Momo. He buckled down and endured it for her. Kyoya reeled in his anger for Momo's sake. He was beyond basic anger. His lividity went Plus Ultra and surpassed its limit. Kyoya was furious, outraged at the Spirits for punishing him for their amusement. He was accustomed to their fickleness, but his ire for them only increased.

Kyoya gripped the sides of the sink and let his anger flow. His quirk sparked to life, expanding, rising. Psychokinesis' enhancements coursed through Kyoya. His iron-tight grip threatened to break the marble surface of the countertop.

'Calm down, Kyoya. Tone it down. It's for my Momo.'

His fist banged on the table. 'Don't let them win. Beat the Spirits. You can do it. Deep breaths.'

His inner monologues were halted by a knock at the door.

"Teddy? You doing okay?" Momo stepped in.

The rapidity at which Kyoya rounded on her was frightening. Instinctively, Kyoya possessed a nearby hairbrush and paled as his quirk, against his orders, propelled it at Momo. Brain running quicker than ever before, Kyoya stopped the tool before it could cave his girlfriend's beautiful face in.

Momo was stunned. No words left her lips as she unintentionally took a step away from Kyoya, whose lowered head told her everything she needed to know.

Today pushed the psychic to his limit. He's had enough. For the first time, Momo had seen her boyfriend overcome with frustration and bathed in his quirk's intense, errie glow.

"I'm so sorry about that! Are you alright?"

Kyoya deactivated Psychokinesis, letting the possessed items fall in place.

"I'm having a bad day."

Momo couldn't agree more.

"That's an understatement," she was gentle in her approach. Thankfully, Kyoya didn't put up a fight as Momo rubbed her boyfriend's back.

"This wasn't how our night was supposed to go, but I understand if you want to leave. Unfortunately," she didn't have to say anymore as the pouring rain danced on the rooftop. "Come with me. We can relax in the living room."

Not giving him a choice, Momo led Kyoya by the hand and brought him to the luxurious living room, where she sat him down and clung to his side.

"Try to calm down. I know today's been rough. If it makes you feel better, you're more than welcome to stay here tonight."

Momo snuggled closer.

"I won't leave your side."

She caressed the side of Kyoya's face and planted a gentle kiss on his cheek.

"I won't let the Spirits do as they please," another kiss, "No one bullies my teddy bear."

Momo felt genuine rage towards the divine entities. Her boyfriend was a kind individual. He didn't deserve to suffer for the entertainment of forces outside of his control.

"I tried to make a good impression."

"And you have," Momo assured him, "That incident in the dining room was amazing, how fast you acted and arranged the mess before it became one. My parents and I were amazed."

"That seems to be the only thing that went right tonight."

Momo hissed as she gently urged Kyoya to take a seat. At this point, he was afraid to do anything, else he ruined the furniture. Momo had to coax him and snuggle up to him to ease his nerves.

"We all have our bad days. Remember when I came to you because of an injury I suffered for my lack of awareness?"

Kyoya remembered. He remembered every interaction between them.

"How could I forget?" He gave her a side look, "It was the day I learned you enjoyed my letters."

At this, Momo giggled. "That was the third letter, and the day I sought to uncover your identity."

Kyoya managed to smile.

"I wanted to keep you interested, but I got scared and altered the fourth letter."

He clasped his hands together and raised his head.

"Originally, I was going to write down my plans for the future, but that storm hit. A lot of things happen when it's storming."

"It does, but I cannot forgive the Spirits for attacking you. It's not fair. You've done nothing wrong."

This time, Kyoya's body shook from his silent laughter.

"I tell them that all the time, but all they do is make my life harder."

His cheek landed on the top of Momo's head.

"Although, things worked out in the end. I got a beautiful girlfriend to comfort me."

A soft red colored Momo's creamy cheeks.

"And I ended up with a sweet boyfriend, even if he is a bit of a trickster."

"Oh, you should've seen me as a kid," his mental focus grew weak due to recent events, so he went back to the whiteboard, "I was even worse."

"I believe you. You've been teasing me for the longest time."

Kyoya's smirk contrasted with his innocent face.

"I'm sorry, it's just so much fun. I want you to admit your lewdness."

This caused Momo to gasp and sit up straight.

"How dare you?" she puffed her cheeks out, "I am not lewd. You're the pervert."

"I've seen your hero outfit. You have no right to speak."

"It's to utilize my quirk to its fullest. It requires I expose my skin," she moved to escape, but the psychic wasn't having it. He kept her in his lap, her front facing him, her breasts pressed against his well-muscled body. He caressed her thigh and traced his finger up her curves, enjoying the shiver that trailed down her backside.

"I bet you enjoy being the center of lustful gazes."

"No, that's not true," she stopped her boyfriend's hand from touching her hip, "You're just letting your perverted mind think what you want."

Kyoya showed his fangs, a wide smile growing steadily on his face. His girlfriend squirmed as his superior strength broke through her measly defenses and tickled her skin, sliding under her dress, and making small circles on her hips.

"Am I?" the echo of his voice in her head made her shudder. "Or is my Kitty cat secretly an exhibitionist?"

He stole a kiss from her glossy lips.

"I would never present myself in such a manner," Momo declared, "It's purely from a functionality perspective. It covers up the necessary parts while giving me room to work with."

Momo didn't know when she started purring, but it was a bad indication that enjoyed her boyfriend's touch more than ever.

"I get what you're saying. I really do."

"But?" Momo knew one was coming.

"But the average person would think you're seeking attention."

"Let them. I know what I want."

"Really? Do you know what I want?" Kyoya stole another kiss.

"Mmm, I can take a few guesses," she lowered her voice to a sultry tone, a matching smile tugging at her lips.

"AHEM!"

And like that, Momo did her pet name proud by leaping off her boyfriend with catlike reflexes. She stood at attention while failing to lower the hotness on her cheeks before her mother.

"O-Okaa-san! H-How long…"

"Long enough," she interrupted in a dry tone, "I was coming to check up on you two, but then I walk in on this. Do you behave this way outside of classes?"

"N-No ma'am," the daughter twiddled her thumbs, "It's usually more light, but since Kyoya has been through a lot, I wanted to comfort him."

The mother continued to look unimpressed. Her gaze shifted from her daughter to the young man writing on his whiteboard.

"Forgive Momo, Yaoyorozu-san. It's my fault."

"Hmm, Shuzenji-san, I understand tonight has been… quite the ordeal for you, but I hope you do not allow that to take advantage of my daughter."

"It wasn't like that, mom! I'm the one who started it."

"Of course not, Yaoyorozu-san. I'll be more considerate in the future."

"See that you do. You're more than welcome to stay here, AWAY from Momo's room."

"I promise to behave."

The mother accepted the promise and turned on her heel.

"I'm not ready to be a grandmother," her voice rang out before she disappeared around the corner.

"MOM!" Momo shouted, face ready to explode, "IT'S NOT LIKE THAT!"

Momo lowered her head. A sad groan left her lips, her body comforted by the pair of strong arms gently encasing her in a warm embrace.

"You like giving me a hard time, don't you?" Momo placed a hand over Kyoya's and reached up with her other to caress his cheek, upon which she planted a soft kiss.

There was silence, but the girlfriend didn't mind. No words were spoken, but Momo welcomed it. The quiet bothered people, but Momo was of a sound mind. She enjoyed peace.

"Come on, let's relax a little more," she followed her teddy bear to the loveseat. The tension died down for the moment.

Unfortunately, things changed when upon sitting down, the entire loveseat buckled and sent the couple careening with Momo's startled shouts echoing through the room as the couch fell backward.

"Momo!" the worried voices of her parents erupted into the room, surprised by the flipped-down couch and the limbs underneath.

A cyan-blue glow engulfed the furniture, where underneath, Momo lay unharmed, her momentary flight cushioned by the groaning psychic beneath her.

"Are you okay?" Her mother inquired.

"I-I'm fine. Teddy?" the girlfriend sighed.

'Just when things were looking positive.'

Kyoya gave a thumbs-up as he flipped the couch back to its original position.

'I fucking hate the Spirits.'
