(Izuku)Stain had told me to meet up with him after my encounter with him. He wanted to train me up a bit since he still doubted my physical ability, and wanted to give me a fighting chance. It has been a month since then and i was making some progress towards my growth.

He set me up with a workout plan that would perfectly suit my life outside of vigilantism. Every single day i would be working out for four hours, two in the morning and two after school. They could be at whatever time but i had to focus on certain parts of my body on certain days. And i only got one day off, that would be a break day. Saturday.

Every other day, at 10:00 at night, sharp, I'd meet up with him in one of his many hideouts located in this city, and he'd give me lessons on hand to hand combat as well as using weapons, mostly swords and knives of different varieties. Occassionally, he'd also allow me to watch some of his fights from afar, to take notes so i could hopefully replicate his fighting style.

It was pretty tough training, especially in the beginning, but I've gotten a bit used to it and even gained a bit of muscle. While my hand to hand and weapon usage still needs some work, I've definitely improved since the beginning of my training and he said that i could probably take on most quirk users at my school with my current knowledge. This gave me a bit more confidence in my abilities, though i was still aware i was quirkless and probably couldn't do too much to people like Kacchan, at least yet.

I was currently on my way to the hideout Stain wanted to meet up at. I held my notebook in hand and walked with an air of confidence, a somewhat eager look plastered on my face.

I made my way through the bustling city and into a dark alleyway. I then ventured deeper into said alleyway and found an opening, where a small area of abandoned buildings lied, the big worn down werehouse being Stain's hideout.

I looked up at the structure momentarily before proceeding inside. I had no fear since i knew the building and was familiar with its layout. It had no rooms whatsoever, it was just a large empty space plagued by mold and infested with rats, with Stain's belongings being present. There were loads of bulletin boards plastered on the walls, with maps of musutafu city on them, and several pictures of heroes as well as pieces of colored yarn connecting said pictures to parts of the map, likely showing their pattern of movement throughout the city, to track them down effectivley.

Stain was in a far corner of a room, reading a book atop a worn down and dirty bean bag that was slightly faded from sun damage. He looked up and noticed me, i knew that because he arose from his seat and closed his book, walking my way.

"Hey."

Stain simply uttered out before suddenly throwing a knife at me. I let out a yelp and dodged out of reflex, the knife barley missing me, as i could feel the weapon whizz over my head.

"Crap that was close... I didn't even sense your malicious intent!"

I spoke, as i straightened myself up and then turned and looked at the weapon, it had landed on one of the pictures, peircing straight through it. I was both surprised and unfazed by his amazing precision.

"Oh, is that who we're attacking next? Super boy right? He was one of your priorities wasn't he?"

I then asked, turning back towards Stain, who simply nodded before speaking.

"Yes I had finally planned out when would be the best time to kill him, and i concluded that it would be during one of the nights he goes to drink. The bar isn't very far away from here. While it would be easy for me to solo run this, since I've got more expirience, i think it would be best to see how you do so you can get some experience under your belt."

Stain spoke, his last words shocking me. I decided to question that part of what he said.

"W-wait, so I've got to kill him?!"

I asked frantically.

"No, i never said that, all i want you to do is lure him out of the bar and into the alleyway behind it, in any means possible, and then get the first few blows, and weaken him enough for me to finish him off. There will be a bit of a scuffle between you and him of course, and if things get too rough for you I'll step in and clean up. This is so i can see what you need to focus on improving, wether it be power, speed or defence. I'll give you a loadout of weapons to use, that you'll be able to conceal within the coat over there."

Stain said, pointing over at a large black trench coat that hung off of a stolen metal coat hanger.

I hesitantly approached the coat hanger and removed the black trench coat from it, then draping the coat over my shoulders and taking a look inside. There were several pockets which would ideally hold and hide all my weapons, though the coat itself was rather large and went down to my knees. The sleeves also went way past my hands, making my arm movements very awkward to say the least. If i were to describe this outfit with one word, it would be 'impractical'. While it may have been useful for Stain himself, it was way too big for me to fight freely in.

"Fits like a glove!"

I joked, putting my hands up and showing off just how far the things went past my hands, as they folded over them and almost went past my forearms. The pose was sorta reminiscent of a praying mantis.

"I can see that... Guess we'll have to get you a better fit, so lets go and rob a clothing store first. Then we'll start the operation."

I was hesitant towards that idea, robbing a clothing store, while easy, especially with an experienced criminal still held its risks. I was always afraid of getting caught, and wasn't confident in my athletic ability to easily hop over fences or scale buildings like Stain. Though, i decided to swallow my fear and put my faith in the hero killer, nodding up and down in acceptance to his suggestion.

perspective shift(Stain)

Robbing a clothing store wasn't on my agenda for tonight, i simply wanted to go to the bar and kill that stupid hero already. Though, i guess getting a student wasn't really on my agenda either, but here we are.

I got ready to go, putting on my combat attire, my headband and scarf, as well as my protective vest and metal kneepads. I also attached my weapon holsters to the vest, placing two knives on each side. I also grabbed my katana, as it could come in handy. I holstered the sheathed weapon to my hip and grabbed a few extra weapons just in case, and some for the kid to use.

The kid pretty was simply looking over his notes on my bean bag. It only slightly bothered me but it wasn't a big enough deal to address. Plus, I'm sure he'd get off if i told him to. Once i got ready i looked to the kid's direction, then saying;

"Come on, let's go."

In a calm yet firm voice. He got up out of my bean bag and to his two feet, then putting his notebook away.

We headed outside and decided to get around the city to the nearest clothing store through the maze like alleyways, which i was able to perfectly navigate from my many gruelling hours of studying the city's layout.

It took about five minutes to get to the store, and since we were going through the alleyways, we ended up in the back, which is where i initially planned to enter through.

I surveyed the exterior, searching for cameras to destroy. I found two, one in each corner of both sides. I pulled out two of my throwing knives and flung them both at the cameras so that there would be no evidence of us entering into the building.

I then tried opening the door which was locked, of course it was. I let out a sigh and pulled out a small lock pick, and started fiddling around with the lock until it clicked and gave us access to the inside.

I trooped indoors and motioned the kid to follow me, which he did. The room we entered in was a storage room, it was dark and cluttered with cleaning supplies. It was a pain in the ass to navigate through without making any noise.

We managed to get to the exit of the storage room and enter into the store itself. We were at the back of the store so of course, there were very little people present, not to mention it was night time, on a Wednesday night. These were perfect conditions for stealing, at least as long as it took place around this range of space.

The two of us began walking down one of the aisles, in search for a trench coat simular to the one i had. It had taken a few minutes of desperately searching around the back of the store, but we eventually found something that would work just fine.

The kid put the coat over his shoulders and smiled, it was a much better fit. It was simular in color and it was revealed to have some inner pockets to hold his weapons in, though there were less Unfortunatley.

Either way, we got what we wanted and now it was time to take our leave, and head straight to the bar.

I picked up my two knives, the same two i threw at the cameras, putting them back in their respective holsters.

We then navigated through the maze of alleyways, and arrived at the bar in about double as much time as it took to get to the clothing store from the hideout.

"Welp, i guess I'll be waiting for you on the other side, here are a few weapons to use."

I said before pulling out a few butterfly knives from my pocket, two of my throwing knives, as well as a large combat knife that i had holstered on my back.

perspective shift(Izuku)

I placed the weapons into my stolen trench coat. My heart was pumping at light speed as i began to get a bit nervous. How was i even supposed to lure this guy out anyways? It would be hard not to attract attention to myself. Also, wasn't there a bouncer always at the front guarding the place at all times? How was i expected to make my way past him??

I gulped and started muttering to myself, a habit i still had even as I've grown tougher. I was overthinking the entire process.

Suddenly, i got wacked over the head by Stain. A bit of pain coursed through my cranium as his fist dropped down on me rather hard, though it snapped me out of my muttering trance.

"You don't have to go through the front kid, you know that right. There is a door right here, in the back, you could just go in through there."

Stain said, letting out a sigh, while pointing over at the door my eyes refused to previously notice. I glanced over at the door before appeoaching it, clasping my fingers around the cold metal knob, twisting it in an attempt to get the door open, but it was seemingly locked.

"Maybe i should've teached you some lockpicking skills huh..."

Stain murmered, face palming before pulling out the same lock pick as before, beginning to undo the lock.

It clicked and Stain opened it for me.

"I'll be waiting out here, remember, I'm not going to interfere unless things get really ugly, like if you're on the brink of death or if the cops are on their way. I suggest getting the hero's attention by grabbing a hostage or maybe just antagonizing him will be enough."

Stain then said as i walked in, my hands in my pockets. I nodded to his suggestion and made my way through the hallway that the back door was at.

I arrived at the bar itself and my nose was immediatley flooded with the smell of smoke and alcohol. I briefly surveyed the busy room, looking for the hero we were targeting. I found him, trying to hit on two females.

I immediatley decided on the idea of just antagonizing him. It would be way better to not get other people involved, especially since i was so worried about gaining attention. He seemed really desperate as he talked to the two women, it was obvious they were his main intrest. So to piss him off, I've got to either embarrass him in front of them, or somehow drive the two women away.

I decided to just wing it, and forget about deciding. I was probably going to raise suspicion if people noticed me just standing there like a deer in headlights.

I felt a little nervous but tried not to let that get to me as faltering in the slightest could result in my failure. I let out a sharp sigh and began making my way over to the hero and two women.

"Hey! How y'all ladies doing tonight!? You seem to be having a great time! What about yourself sir?"

I asked, trying to come off as cheerful yet charismatic and smoothtalking.

"The hell's a kid doing in here, get lost."

The hero spoke, shooting me a glare with his sharp blue eyes. I felt a jump in my heart rate as i grew more tense from his sudden malice. Yet, i decided to push foward and keep digging deeper.

"Oh, my dad works here and he sometimes invites me to work with him from time to time, usually to bus the tables and whatnot! Sorry if i disturbed you in any way, same for you two ladies~"

I then spoke in a flirtatious, sorta singsong voice. The hero let out a pissed off huff as he got out of his seat and stared down at me.

I flinched and backed up a bit, looking up at the rather tall man. He was seething with anger, as his glare grew sharper and his teeth stuck out, like an animal ready to devour its prey. Despite how intimidating he was, i still held my ground, and didn't let up.

"Hey hey! No need to get mad sir! I'm just seeing how you guys are doing! If you need to take a breather me and you can head outside and i can console you!"

I said, feigning submissivness. Hopefully taking a shot at his ego by acting all weak would be enough to piss him off enough into coming outside with me, so phase two of the mission could commence.

"Tch, I'd rather take you outside and beat your face in, and teach you not to fuck with me when I'm trying to get some ass around here!"

The hero spoke, stepping closer to me. The other two girls seemingly got up and left the area and went elsewhere, away from the confrontation.

Hearing this man speak made me lose all respect for him. He was about as bad as Stain said he was. All he wanted to do was use these women for his personal gain, and probably leave them behind like they never meant anything to him, truly sick. This was enough to piss me off.

"Well, if that's how you want things to be then so be it... Come on, let's go outside, and settle things like men."

I spoke, venom lacing my words to make them as sinister yet antagonizing as possible. The guy bought it and began storming to the hallway that lead to where i came from. I smirked, and followed closely behind him.

The hero burst out of the bar and walked out into the alleyway. I stepped out soon after and opened my trench coat.

My heart started beating really fast again, but not out of fear, more so excitement to teach this piece of crap a lesson. Though, the thought of loosing still faintly lingered in the back of my mind.

Even though my mind and heart was racing, i knew i had to try and keep calm enough to fight rationally. That's something Stain had taught me, always keep a level head in a fight.

And so i began staring at my opponent. He was about six or so feet tall, rather muscular and seemingly capable of dishing out hits even without the usage of his quirk. On the subject of quirks, his was quite powerful, but easy to combat. It simply allowed him to control the momentum of things in motion. He can automatically do it to himself but he has to touch a target if he wants to manipulate their momentum.

I just have to use his quirk against him. I've seen his fights before and he's definitely a brawler type, he likes to get close and personal and deal heavy damage with his momentum powered punches. Luckily, close combat was something i did better at, i still wasn't very confident in my knife throwing skills but closing the distance and delivering a few slashes would be a walk in the park.

Not to mention, i had the upper hand. He was heavily intoxicated as it seemed and so he might not be able to fight at the level he usually does. So I've got the winning hand, even without a quirk!

I immediatley charged in and swung my knife at him rapidly, already getting some decent cuts into his flesh. The hero was caught off guard as he probably wasn't expecting a weapon, or my speed.

Though, he still reacted quick, finding an opening and side stepping a stabbing attack i had coming his way.

He tapped my forearm and i was sent flying foward, and straight into the wall in front of me.

I let out a loud grunt as pain shot through my entire head, as well as the rest of my body. I stumbled back as he released his quirk. I then got hammered in the face with a powerful jab, which was strong enough to send me flying back into the wall i previously crashed into.

I gritted my teeth and clutched my knife harder in my hand. I wiped some of the blood that was pouring down my forehead and almost into my eyes.

Damn, this was getting tough, quicker than i would've liked...

Though, i wasn't going to give up. I was going to give this fight my all, to show Stain that I'm capable of fufilling my dreams!

I peeled myself from the wall and was almost met with another punch to my face. Luckily, i was able to duck underneathe it and get a good slash into his stomach.

The hero let out a growl as he threw a downward punch at my direction, though i was quick to dodge that one as well. I simply sidestepped his attack and slashed his shoulder, then adding to the combo with a clean right hook to the back of his head.

The punch was enough to rattle the hero and send him foward a bit, but nothing more than that.

He then turned towards me, a look of pure animalistic rage in his eyes. I couldn't help but smile at his frustration, it was nice seeing someone getting the punishment they deserved.

All of a sudden, the hero jumped at me, using his quirk to send himself flying at a really high speed. He had a good hold of my midsection and was seemingly going for a tackle of sorts.

He drove me into the wall that ran parallel to the one i smacked into, which was the bar. My back ached with a sharp pain as the concrete behind me cracked from the force, i almost thought my back did the same.

My arms were free and so i was able to drop a powerful elbow to his back, making the hero grunt in pain as he pinned me to the wall.

I needed him to let go, if i wanted to beat him, and so i continued delivering elbo after elbow to his back, every strike being followed by a loud grunt from the hero.

One more powerful elbow was enough to make him let go and step back to recover. I was in quite bad shape myself, i definitley broke my nose and probably a few other bones in my body. It definitely hurt but the adrenaline got rid of most the pain and replaced it with a sensation of warmth.

I peeled myself off the wall once more and was met with a punch to my gut. I wheezed as pain shot through my abdomen, i cursed and threw a punch to the hero's nose to make him back off.

"I really don't want to use this... But you leave me no choice hero..."

I said weakly, before pulling out the large combat knife Stain gave me. It was better for dealing out big damage, I'm pretty sure you could cut through bone with this bad boy if you tried hard enough. And I'm pretty sure taking him out with this would be a lot easier, if i could land a few strikes that is.

I placed the other knife into my pocket and got into a fighting stance, ready to take the hero on once more.

"Heh... Stupid kid... I've informed the heroes in advance, right when i landed my first hit on you. Their already on their way so i think you might want to make your escape!"

The hero suddenly threatened, a grin appearing on his bloodied up face.

I was shocked to hear this, but luckily, Stain was quick to act. He had previously made his way up a building to watch the fight from above in case things got a bit crazier than expected. And he didn't hesitate jumping from the height he sat at. In the blink of an eye, the hero killer was on the floor, his katana outside its sheathe. All of a sudden the hero's body erupted with blood as a large gash opened up out of nowhere.

The hero was dead, and i didn't even have a chance to close my eyes from the sight like usuall. The sight was horrifying. But my attention was quickly drawn to a more horrifying sight in my opinion. The heroes were there, already prepared for combat. And the faint sound of sirens in the distance, getting louder and louder by the second petrified me.

Stain cursed under his breath and sheathed his sword before quickly grabbing the back of my shirt, then beginning to flee the scene, with me in his hands.

He bounced from building to building, which made my body dangle like crazy as i got whiplash midair. Suprisingly, i didn't fall as his grip was really tight.

The two of us made it to where Stain was previously sitting, on top of a building. A hero was on our tail though and he jumped up onto the same roof. The hero had a spring body quirk, that allowed him to shrink down and then jump high into the air, and make his body elongated. So there was no question as to how he got up here.

The main threat wasn't him though, it was the several bullets flying our way, and also, my own inexperience was a threat in of itself.

I followed as closely behind Stain as i possibly could, jumping from building top to building top, trying to avoid the bullets flying at us.

"You're not getting away that easily hero killer Stain, and other guy!"

The hero from behind shouted as all of a sudden his arm extended and tried reaching for us. His aim seemed more directed towards Stain though since he was a pretty high priority criminal.

Though, i still felt the impulse to move out of the way and continue running, sure that Stain was not going to let that hand grab him at all.

And as i expected, Stain slashed the hand, but i didn't expect him to completely cut it off! I watched in shock as blood spurted from the hero's extended arm, as his hand flew off in a random direction. The blood curdling scream made me want to vomit my insides out as it practically rattled my organs, and sent a horrified shiver down my spine. I was sure never to forget those sounds...

Well, at least one threat was out of the way, now all we had to do was lose the cops. Sadly, that wasn't as easy as cutting a hero's hand off, they covered a wide area and had solid range with their guns, not to mention there were now several helicopters from above shooting at us, and equally as terrifying, a few news helicopters filming the entire chase on camera...

I couldn't help but vomit from the stress as i ran. I fell slightly behind but caught up quickly, wiping the stomach fluids from my face. This was it! I was going to die!

I was almost starting to regret my decision to become a vigilante, now that the stakes were really high. The chances of me getting out of this were really low, and even if i did, my face is going to be everywhere on the news! Which means...

"No, i can't think of that right now, i need to focus on running!"

I tried telling myself as i tried speeding up, almost tripping a few times as i wasn't used to going this fast.

"You still there kid?! Follow me I've got a way outta here!"

Stain shouted, not bothering to look at me since he knew that i knew that he was talking to me.

I nodded briefly before watching in shock as he jumped off the building he was on. I was hesitant but if i wanted to make it out of this alive, i had to follow him.

I jumped off the same building and looked down at where he was. He was jumping back and fourth between the thin walls that lead into a deep alleyway.

I had very little experience doing this kind of stuff but i tried my best, remembering all the times I've seen Stain do this, as i moved my body midair and towards a wall with my feet out.

My feet made hard contact with the wall which did hurt, but nothing was broken.

I then pushed my foot from the surface like i was getting ready to run, which was enough force to send me to the other wall.

There was enough space between the two walls where i could shift my body and allow my feet to land first and push myself off and to the next wall.

we were going in a zigzag pattern of sorts, which made it harder for the bullets to hit. Even though we were going through a more promising escape route, we still weren't out of the woods fully.

The two of us continued bouncing between the two buildings, and i started getting a little bit more comfortable with the movements, and so i picked up in speed.

I was about fourty or so feet from Stain, so pretty close surprisingly. I was quite shocked at how quick i learned how to do this, even though i had no muscle memory. I was running off of pure instinct at this point and was putting my knowledge to use!

We kept going, until Stain suddenly dropped down.

I dropped down with him, sure that he had a plan, and i think i knew what he was aiming for. He was headed towards a garbage bin which was going to cushion the blow of him landing.

He landed and bounced off, then running on foot, and i did the same not long after.

We were now bolting through the alleyway, it was a lot harder for the bullets to land as we were in a closed space, so we were for sure a lot safer now. Though it wasn't time to get cocky, we still had to be prepared for the worst.

While running i began thinking of ways we could escape, as i looked around the alleyway for places to hide. Though, Stain beat me to it.

The hero killer jumped over a side fence that lead into a seemingly vacant home. He ran to the door and rammed his body into it to get the door open.

He ran inside and i followed suit, hopping over the fence and running through the yard, into the house.

It was a bit dirty inside as mold and filth was present in every corner of every room. The house had no furniture, or anything for that matter. It was just a house full of filth. Though, it would protect us from the cops for the time being, therefor serving its purpose.

We both decided it would be best to go deeper into the house so it would be harder to find us, if they decided to check this area at some point in time.

I arrived into the room i decided was mine, and sat against the wall, trying to calm my breathing. This night was crazy, but also one of the worst. As i knew that I'd never be able to return home with the media spotting me.

perspective shift(Tomura)

An entire month's worth of searching for a new recruit has gone by, and nothing. Nobody has captured my interest at all, everybody I've seen so far are just petty thugs that do the stupidest crimes imaginable. Nobody worth my time at all.

I scratched my neck as i continued scrolling through news articles on my computer, desperate to find at least the closest thing to a potential teammate.

I've spent more of my time doing this than hanging out in the bar or playing video games. I didn't want to work with anybody but the people i know. But, master keeps on shoving the idea down my throat that if i want to be successful like him, i need the best crew possible to get things done, and i need to branch out further, beyond my comfort zone.

It was stressful, and i was tired of listening to his lengthy lectures. And so i commited hours of my day researching nonstop, just so i can make master happy and make him shut up about that.

Though, i think today was the day! I hit the jackpot, two villains in one, who worked together to kill a hero and severley injured another, and still got away safely.

I began digging deeper, as i truly believed i had found who i want to recruit.

A young boy, younger than me, named Izuku Midoriya, and a hardened criminal named Stain, who has already killed and disabled several heroes.

The younger one was less of intrest, but had potential, and this Stain guy was sure to be a valuable asset if i could recruit him succesfully.

Now, i just had to find them, and invite them to our hideout to discuss things!

The first level has begun!

End of chapter

Author's note: man this chapter was a blast to write, and i definitley can't wait to work on the next! I hope you all enjoyed this chapter, it's a bit more exciting than the last two introductory chapters of sorts in my opinion. I really like the idea of Izuku on the run now, with Stain, this separates him from his normal life completely, now he has to learn even more if he wants to survive in the harsh harsh world waiting for him! I'll try to get my next chapter out sometime next week! Other than that, this is me signing out!
