The group gathered in the Lab was silent as they watched the Black Ranger attempt to demorph after finally being released from his amber prison.
"Dr. O, I know the suit looks good and all, but quit kidding around," Kira told Tommy, her worry evident in her voice.
"I wish I could, Kira. When Trent froze me in that amber somehow my Dino Gem and my morpher must've re-molecularized," Tommy shook his head and frowned as he looked at his morpher while waking pasting them.
"In other words?" Connor asked.
"He's stuck and which means I am going to continue taking over his classes until we get that damn suit demorphed," Kaya said.
"I know you are upset, baby sis, but you need to calm down," Tommy comforted Kaya.
"And speaking of Trent looks like he's up to no good again," Hayley groaned as she saw the computer screen flash and Trent's Megazord moved through the city.
"I'm so over that poser," Connor growled.
"Go. I'll see what we can figure out here," Tommy told his students.
"Ready?" Connor asked.
"Ready!" all said.
"DINO THUNDER, POWER UP! HA!"
The Rangers morphed and got on the Raptor Riders heading out to the fight. Kaya was checking Tommy's suit to find any clue how to take it apart but remember the helmet.
"Tommy take your helmet off," Kaya ordered.
Tommy looked at his sister and realized what his sister was telling him so he tried to take the helmet off but couldn't.
"Are you flipping kidding me?" Kaya asked.
"No, sis. Looks like I am still stuck but at least that's a good idea even that didn't work," Tommy said.
Kaya nodded and sighed. Tommy went to hugs his sister knowing that Kaya misses her twin brother's face so much. Kaya smiled softly as she looked up to Tommy.
"Love you, baby sis," Tommy said.
"Love you too, big brother," Kaya said.
Kaya and Tommy watched the fight and saw what happened. Hayley went to work on getting the Dino Zords free. The Dino Rangers came back from the fight.
"What's the situation, Hayley?" Tommy asked as he watched the genius work on trying to free the Dino Zords.
"It's no good," Hayley sighed, "He's got them in a force field."
Hayley tried to break it but it flashed back. Kaya frowned as she knew about the force field being it is her power that she got. Kaya closed her eyes as she listens to others.
"It's not Trent's fault. The gem is making him this way," Kira insisted sadly looking at her friends as Ethan scoffed.
"I don't care whose fault it is," Connor snarled furiously, "We find a way to deal with him, or things are gonna get ugly."
Kaya glared at Connor and was about ready to snap at him when Tommy hold his hand up to his sister and let him speak. Kaya nodded and let him.
"Slow down. I was in his shoes once, and I wouldn't be here today if my friends have given up on me," Tommy reminded his students as he looked down.
Kira, Connor, and Ethan were silent. Kaya crosses her arms.
"Without the help of our friends, this world would not be the same. Tommy would continue being an evil Ranger and I would never reveal myself to him," Kaya said.
"Ok, so we don't give up yet, but what do we do?" Ethan asked.
"Go back to school. Keep a low profile," Tommy instructed as to the students' groans, "Hayley and I will let you know if anything changes."
"While staying low, I will continue teaching the classes," Kaya said.
Kira, Ethan, and Connor nodded knowing that they can find out more from Kaya since she doesn't have many jobs as them. They left the Dino Lab and headed to the school the next day.
The next day after the classes are over, Kaya is standing by the car waiting for Kira, Ethan, and Connor to join her so they can head back to the Dino Lab to see if there is any change.
"Hey, you two. I got an email from that science teacher of yours. He's claiming to be too sick to work," Randall told them.
"Now that you mention it, he really didn't seem himself last time I saw him," Kira shrugged, trying to look concerned.
"Well, I'd better not find out that he's faking it, or he can kiss his job goodbye," Randall warned them coldly which makes Kaya a little mad.
"Well excuse me! My brother is sick and you think he is faking. You are wrong. I am taking care of his classes and no you can't fire me as I am his assistant since the board agreed to let me take over his classes until my brother is feeling better," Kaya snarled coldly at Principal Randall.
Principal Randall glared at Kaya as Ethan and Kira were shocked to hear Kaya's voice since they never heard of it. Kira and Ethan make a note not to get on Kaya's bad side. Principal Randall left before getting into more trouble with Kaya since she got the feeling that she shouldn't be messing with Kaya. Ethan noticed Connor first and tapped on Kira's arm to show her to see Connor. Kaya sees them looking in the direction and sees Connor. They walked over to Connor.
"What's up?" Kira asked.
"It's Trent," Connor told them as they looked down the bleachers to see Trent sitting looking at his hands.
"Now I know you're crazy," Ethan frowned as they climbed over the side.
"I know, dude, but check it out. He's reformed," Connor said.
"Really? That doesn't sound right to me," Kaya frowned as she is a bit suspicious of Trent.
"Trent? Are you in there?" Kira asked Trent.
"Hey, it's really me," Trent smiled, looking exhausted.
"One of Mesogog's monster attacks backfired," Connor explained.
"Think it released the Dino Gem's hold," Trent nodded.
"That doesn't make a whole lot of sense," Ethan frowned.
"Guys, look, I'm really sorry for everything I've done to you," Trent told them, looking guilty, "You gotta believe it wasn't me. If there's anything I can do to make it up to you..."
"Something isn't right," Kaya thought as she listens.
"How about returning our Zords for starts?" Ethan asked.
Trent laughed softly as he nodding.
"Meet me in the warehouse district this afternoon. I'll give you back your Zords and I might have a little peace offering as well," Trent smiled.
Kaya frowned as she got a bad feeling about this one since it does sound like a trap to her. Connor, Ethan, and Kira looked at each other smiling since they like the idea of it.
The Rangers were riding on their bikes with Tommy on the back of Connor's and Kaya on the back of Kira's. They spotted Trent already waiting in the warehouse. Trent sat on some crates waiting for them with something hidden under a cover.
"Hey over here," Trent waved to them, smiling brightly as they stopped and dismounted.
"Hope you don't mind. I tagged along just in case," Tommy told the White Ranger as he stepped forwards.
Like his twin sister, he was wary of Trent's story. Tommy knew that Kaya told him over the telepathic about the problem and felt that she had and he does agree with her.
"Dr. Oliver, you're ok," Trent looked relieved as he shook Tommy's hand.
"More or less," Tommy nodded.
"I hate to get right to the point, but I don't see any Zords around here," Kaya frowned as she did look around while Trent and Tommy did the quick talk.
"I thought we'd start with the peace offering I promised first," Trent smiled at her.
Trent stepped back and pulled the cover off what was hidden to reveal a large black and gold with a hint of pink ATV. The Rangers saw the ATV as they have never seen one that closes before. Kaya frowned as the feeling in her stomach was getting stronger.
"Sweet!" Ethan said.
"I figured you guys could use the help against Mesogog," Trent offered, leaning against the large vehicle, "Who wants to try it out?"
"Make way!" Ethan laughed as he stepped forwards but Tommy stops him.
"Sorry, Ethan. I think it's better if I try it first," Tommy said.
"Aw man," Ethan pouted.
"Ethan, Tommy wants to make sure it is not trapped before we can use it," Kaya said before joining her brother to check the ATV.
"Good work. 12 stroke engine?" Tommy asked as he studying the ATV.
"Yeah, it sure is," Trent nodded as to look down at it.
"I don't think they make 12 stroke engines, Trent," Kaya frowned.
Tommy looked up to see Trent's smiled warped into a twisted smirk.
"Mesogog doesn't make monsters that turn people nice, either," Trent told them with a small laugh.
Before any of them could react, Trent had kicked the back of the ATV, and it sped off out of control. Kaya wraps around Tommy's waist so quickly before she could fly off the ATV.
"IT'S A TRAP!" Tommy and Kaya cried out as the other Rangers leaped out of the way.
The ATV was still going out of control as Tommy trying to get it back in control. The ATV almost ran over the Rangers which the Rangers managed to get out of the way. Tommy was trying to figure out how to use the ATV as it is not doing any response.
"How do you control this thing?" Tommy asked.
"No idea and this isn't good!" Kaya said as she was watching out for any trouble or danger.
Tommy and Kaya saw the car ahead of them.
"Think, Tommy... Brachio Staff!" Tommy mumbled to himself before taking his Brachio staff out to stabs the ATV to get it to stop being out of control.
When Tommy managed to stop the ATV, Kaya's eyes wide as she stared at the car.
"Reminds me to yelled at Trent for getting us killed but at the same time I am so mad that evil Dino Gem is controlling Trent," Kaya growled.
Tommy was about to agree with his twin sister when both he and Kaya turn their head to see the White Ranger on his ATV jumped over the vehicles. Tommy and Kaya glared at Trent and went to fight him while trying out the ATV that they had since they never have that one before. Three of them continued fighting while using the ATV. Tommy drove away from Trent in a wild chase. Kaya smirked knowing what Tommy was thinking.
"Come on!" Tommy called out.
"I'm right behind you," Trent said," You can run but you can't hide. Ha-ha!"
Trent shooting at Kaya and Tommy from his ATV. Tommy keeps dodging the blaster while trying to keep the ATV control. Then all of a sudden both ATVs got slips by the water cause it goes out of control. Tommy fights to control from getting hurt and making sure that Kaya didn't fall off the ATV. When Trent and Tommy face each other while Kaya glanced over Tommy's shoulder.
"Don't think I won't destroy you, Trent," Tommy said.
"Whatever you say, old man," Trent taunted.
"Oi! My brother is not an old man," Kaya yelled.
"You asked for it," Tommy said as he glared at Trent.
"Bring it," Trent smirked.
Tommy and Trent were fighting trying to knock each other off the ATV. Kaya was scared to fall off but trusts Tommy since he knows what he is doing.
"Brachio Staff, fire!" Tommy command as he took his staff out to shoot at Trent.
Then Tommy drove back to the warehouse to help other Rangers from the danger. When Kaya and Tommy flew into the warehouse on the ATV, blasting the monster and making him cry out.
"Go, Dr. O! Kaya!" Connor laughed as the Rangers watched.
Tommy skidded to a stop and climbed off, a little unsteady at first. Kaya also got off too as she glared at the ATV for being a wild ride.
"Talk about a wild ride," Tommy commented as they faced the monster.
"Yeah," Kaya agreed.
"Glad you're ok," Kira smiled.
"Later days!" the monster said.
The monster disappeared before the Rangers could stop it. Then Trent swerved to a stop.
"I see my friends have been keeping you busy," Trent commented.
Trent glanced over at them and climbed off his ATV.
"Someone's been careless with their toys," Trent smirked as he looked at their damaged bikes.
"You're making a mistake Trent," Tommy warned.
"Don't trust Mesogog," Kaya said.
"Who says I do?" Trent snapped back at the twins," I got what I wanted except her. Goodbye Rangers.
Trent turned and walked away.
"What about our Zords?" Ethan yelled at Trent.
"Say goodbye to them too," Trent laughed as he climbed back onto his ATV.
"Trent, don't do this!" Tommy pleaded but Trent just revved the engine and spun around to leave.
"I'm outta here," Trent told them, speeding off as the Rangers watched.
Back at the Dino Lab, the Rangers except Tommy took their helmets off.
"Can we go over this again? Trent made a deal with Mesogog, pretending to let Insectollite turn him back to himself as a way of tricking us into taking the rigged ATV?" Connor said as he is disbelief and hurt.
"I can't believe he made a deal with Mesogog," Kira sighed sadly, "That is a new low."
"And risky. Trent was supposed to beat us. Mesogog's not gonna be happy," Ethan said.
"From what I have seen and heard, Trent didn't want to work with Mesogog in the first place. He knew the risk and I got a feeling that he hasn't fulfilled his end of the deal," Kaya said.
"Lighting the candle at both ends? The White Ranger's bound to get burned," Tommy shook his head.
"And I think I know how to get the fire going," Hayley turned, smiling at them, "The ray used by Insectollite destroyed your energy shields. I bet it you could get that creep to aim his energy buster at the Zords..."
"We could break through Trent's shield around them," Kaya realized as Hayley nodded.
"Ok, small problem: how's Trent gonna feel about all this?" Ethan reminded them that they had more than one enemy to deal with.
"Every trap needs its bait," Hayley smirked.
The Rangers went back to the place that they saw Trent and were calling out for him.
"Trent! Where are you?" Kira called.
"Trent!" Kaya hollered.
"We gotta talk, bro," Connor called out.
"Trent!" Ethan yelled.
"You made a deal with Mesogog. Now it's time you make one with us," Tommy said.
They looked around quickly when the White Ranger appeared from behind the crate. Before any of them could say something, Tran ran at them and attacking them with much greater speed. Kaya got separated from others and held by Trent.
"You wanted to see me?" Trent asked.
"We wanted to make a little deal of our own," Kaya growled.
"I don't make deals with posers," Trent smirked, "But maybe for you cutie."
Kaya blushed but glared at Trent.
"OI! My soulmate will kill you for flirting me," Kaya growled.
"Take that back!" Connor growled when heard it.
"Cutie," Trent chuckled before looked at others, "You just won't learn, will you?"
"Learn what?" Connor asked.
"The White Ranger always wins," Trent told them before taking Kaya with him disappearing in a flash of light.
When the sun was set, Kaya glared at Trent as she couldn't move because Trent kept her in the chain. Trent looking at the Dino Zords.
"Looks like your friends are trying to save you. Fools," Trent said.
The Dino Zords growling and trying to get free. Trent smirked and looked at Kaya before waiting for the Rangers to arrived. Then it got so dark as Kaya was watching the Dino Zords as she can sense their feelings wanting to be free but also sense that something is going wrong in a little bit. Then Trent and Kaya see the Rangers arrived with the monster so Trent destroyed the monster before the monster could destroy the shield.
"You're too late," Trent mocked, "See ya."
Trent waved of his dagger to caused a massive explosion where the Dino Zords were.
"No!" Kira cried out.
"It can't be," Tommy horrified as the smoke cleared.
Then, roars filled their air, and the Zords emerged. Kaya watched and knew that Trent now controls the Zords.
"Yo! Check it out!" Ethan gave an amazed laughed.
"They survived," Connor grinned.
The ground began to shake as Trent went into his Zord. The Rangers looked around as soon Trent's Megazord approached and suddenly disconnected its arms. The two Dino Zords attached and the Rangers cried out in horror.
"Our Zords!" Connor called out.
"Yes, they have switched the teams and Trent did trick you," Kaya said as the Rangers looked at Kaya.
Tommy walked to Kaya to get her free. Kaya got free and rubs her wrists.
"I thought they would make a nice addition to my collection," Trent shrugged casually.
"No way!" Kira cried out.
"You should know by now that Trent has always been up to something by now," Kaya murmured.
"The starfish device was just to reprogram them to obey me," the White Ranger explained, smirking under his helmet.
"You're not gonna get away with this," Tommy growled," Brachio!"
Tommy summoned his Zord along with the other three. The Zords combined and faced off against Trent. The Rangers tried to fight Trent but Trent is much faster using the Zords that he now controls. When the Megazords crashed to the ground, Trent walked to them and was about to deliver a final strike on the Rangers but something hits Trent from behind. Tommy and Kaya saw the monster grew to a mega-size that is attacking Trent. Trent blasted at the monster to destroy it before looking at other Rangers.
"Another day, Rangers," Trent promised, disappearing in the white lights.
Back in the Dino Lab, the three students of Tommy were barely moved due to their latest defeat against the White Ranger. Kaya does understand their pain because Tommy did the same thing on Mighty Morphin 10 years earlier.
"Trent has got some nerve," Kira sighed.
"Why can't he just give up?" Ethan complained.
"Good thing I never give up," Hayley commented as she walked over, cleaning her hands on a rag, "Your bikes are fixed."
The Rangers immediately thanked her, relieved.
"Just don't do it again, ok?" Hayley frowned at them sternly, "And as a bonus, I reprogrammed the ATV. That should come in handy."
"We're gonna need all the help we can get," Tommy said as his students looked at him.
"If Trent and Mesogog team up for good, we're gonna have a real battle on our hands," Kaya told them.
The Rangers sighed knowing it is true and hoping that Trent would remain stubborn and refuse to join Mesogog before they could free him.
