So I realized for certain viewers who may just be tuning in for the first time, the world of the Humanimals 'First Earth' and other Human Colonized Planets in their dimension were inspired by the science fiction works of Cordwainer Smith and the Humanimals are very much influenced by the Underpeople, but while Smith's Underpeople mostly look like humans to the point Underpeople who mostly look like animals are unusual the Humanimals are mostly 'Upright Cartoon Animals' simply because I prefer it that way and also since I'm thinking of this as a cartoon it makes more sense for the Animal Slave Class to be visibly distinguishable from their masters
As Belladonna panted she said "Oh Donny…If I had blasted you with my frost breath…." As she knew Donatello was cold blooded and too much cold could stop his heart…
"But you didn't!" Donatello tried to soothe his Dragon Fiancée
"If that music starts again…" Belladonna said
"Yes…" Don said as he rubbed his chin "…I've got to think of something in case…" He was already incredibly tired, but fortunately he didn't have to look very far for the answer.
The massive jungle vines hanging from the trees, just one vine alone would be a massive struggle for a human sized creature to deal with…But since he was giant sized, Don was able to reach up and pluck a massive amount of vines from the trees.
With one group of vines he tied one end to Belladonna's left wrist and the other end to his right wrist, with another group he tied one end the Belladonna's left ankle and to his own right ankle
"There…"he said "…So if that music starts up again your movement with let me know instantly so I can do something about it.
It wasn't much of a plan but it was better than nothing…
Finally they were able to fall asleep, tied up together fortunately there was no more music for the rest of the night, Don was woken at 10 AM by the ticklish feeling of something licking his leg.
Don gave a startled jump and there was the sound of yipping, Don turned over to see a Baby Humanimal, a Scruffy Brown Mongrel Puppy too young to speak Human Language and only wearing a diaper had been the one licking him,
Before Don's brain even had time to register this, the Puppy was swooped up by a pair of familiar arms, it was Bill Brandy the Bull-Boy's Human Girlfriend Samantha Star.
"There you are!" Samantha exclaimed "I've been searching all over for you!" As the Puppy wiggled and yelped in her grasp "Oh." Samantha said noticing the two giant lovers were awake Hey, Don…Hey Belladonna…I presume this little guy woke you up."
"The children were left behind?" Belladonna yawned sleepily
"The babies and toddlers tried to follow the Older Humanimals." Samantha said "But of course Babies can't keep up with adults racing at full speed, most had only gotten out of their cribs when the music ended and the spell was broken so I've been trying to round them up and put them somewhere safe..." She then noticed something "Hey! Hey!" She shouted…She ran over to a Little Brown Colt nibbling on some random plant.
"Don't eat that!" She said tugging on the Horse-Boy's mane "You don't know if that's poisonous or not!"
Belladonna turned to Donatello "This is a disaster!" She said "This can only be the work of Wranglers! They've probably come to this Jungle where there's hardly any civilization so they can smuggle a few Humanimals without anyone noticing!"
Don figured Belladonna was probably right, but what were they to do? Where should they begin looking for the Humanimals who ran off during the night?
Once again I think I'll leave it there for now…Lots of things you reviewers are asking questions about will get answered in later chapters
