"Are you sure you want to do this?" Lena asked, raising an eyebrow. Kara and she were at their cycling class. Kara had been human for the last day, and only had a few injuries. Her hand had healed from the knife incident.
Lena had reminded Kara of their cycling class, and how she missed those little moments. Kara had suggested they started again, thus taking their first class together in months, and the first as human.
"Yeah, why?"
"Cause I still remember our time in Juru and if I remember correctly, you were complaining about being tired. And how terrible it was and asking why people exercise."
Kara looked at Lena, her cheeks bright red. "I can do this."
Lena raised her hands. "Let's go. Just a kiss for good luck?"
Kara beamed and leaned in, pressing her lips against Lena's lips. Lena pushed back, her hands gripping Kara's face.
"I'm glad I have you," Lena whispered, looking into Kara's eyes.
"Always," Kara responded. With their hands linked, they entered the room and grabbed the cycles next to each other in the back. The instructor arrived not soon after and off they went.
Lena and Kara made small talk when they could, talked about projects, about potential dates. Slowly, they were turning the knob. Lena was out of breath, but managing. She looked over to Kara, and saw her face drenched in sweat, her eyebrows scrunched up. Her face was slightly pale, and Lena could hear her panting.
"Do you want to take a break?" Lena asked, slowing down her pedalling.
Kara shook her head. "I'm, I'm good," she said, stopping between words to take a break.
Lena stared at her for a second before nodding. "If you're sure."
Kara nodded, her eyes turning to the milage. Lena did the same and looked at her own, before hearing a soft "oh god."
Lena turned to see that Kara had stopped. She was hunched forward, taking deep breaths. She looked at Lena with wide eyes, and the CEO could barely reach and Kara barfed all over the ground.
Lena's eyes widened and she quickly jumped to Kara, ignoring that her shoes stepped on the mess on the ground to pull Kara up before she fell on the vomit on the ground.
"I dun feel good," Kara muttered, her voice weak and her body just slumped.
Lena let out a small world. "You suck at being human."
"Don' make fun ov'me," Kara said, trying to get off the bike and almost falling on her face. Lena groaned as she helped Kara, taking on most of the weight. She gave the other cyclists, who were glaring at them, a sheepish smile. Lena helped Kara out of the room and to the hall, sitting her down at the nearest chair.
"How are you feeling?" Lena asked, placing her hands on Kara's cheeks.
The blond looked at Lena. "Humiliated. Why do humans exercise? It's disgusting."
Lena laughed, running her hand through Kara's hair. "Not all of us can run without breaking a sweat. You pushed yourself too hard."
"My mouth feels gross."
Lena smiled fondly. "C'mon, let's go get your mouth cleaned."
Kara stood up, seeming to be unsteady. Lena could see Kara's legs tremble as she stood in front of her.
"Let's get you cleaned up Darlin'," Lena whispered, helping her girlfriend to the bathroom. She turned to the room that Kara had thrown up in to see the other clients walking out, angry. Lena bit her lip, knowing she was going to send a check to the establishment.
"Lena," Kara whined, giving the CEO a pout.
"Just breathe, you're going to be okay. We are going to clean you up and get you fresh air," Lena told her, laughing softly. She reached for her phone and with one hand texted 'Useless Kara' chat, (created by Alex).

She watched as the laughing emojis came in.
"Don't be mean to me," Kara muttered, shaking her head.
"After you feel better, you are getting my shoes cleaned," Lena told her, kissing the top of Kara's head. The Kryptonian just leaned into the kiss, letting out a small sigh.

"That doesn't look safe," Nia whispered, looking at the container in front of Kara. The two were having their lunch at Catco, and Kara brought in some potstickers she had leftover, but Nia wasn't sure those looked good. Nia scrunched up her nose at that and looked at her own fresh pizza.
"What's the worst that could happen?" Kara asked, looking at her protege.
Nia shrugged. She pulled her pizza up and took a bite, watching as Kara stabbed her food and brought it to her mouth. Shrugging, she shoved it into her mouth, and Nia just let her.
And Nia should trust her. Kara was her mentor on and off the field. She could take care of herself.
For the most part.
When she had powers.
But she didn't.
Damn.
Nia decided to keep an eye on Kara for the day. She didn't want Alex and/or Lena to kill her for not taking care of Kara. The woman whose life could end because she was distracted by something shiny.
Nia did not want to think of the time a car almost ran Kara over just because she saw Lena across the street.
The Naltorian saw Kara make a face and she placed her pizza down. "Are you okay?"
Kara looked at Nia and grinned. "Fine. That piece just tasted weird. But all is good. So did you decide what to write your article on?"
"That new hero? Dreamer? Don't know if you know of her, but I heard she can kick Supergirl's butt."
Kara raised an eyebrow, looking at Nia. "You think so? Do you want to see that happen? Cause I have Supergirl on speed dial, I'm sure she can have a face off with this Dreamer."
"Right now?" Nia asked, a smirk on her face. "Sure, I'm sure Dreamer can win. I heard Supergirl burned out."
Kara rolled her eyes. "Get back to work."
Nia stood up and laughed as she threw away her food. She turned to Kara, only to see the Kryptonian stare at the table, her hand on her stomach. "You okay?" Nia asked, looking at the other woman.
Kara looked up at Nia and nodded her head with a smile. "I'm good."
Nia frowned, but went to her desk, knowing she was going to watch the other girl. Nia started to work on her article, letting time fly. Before she knew it, two hours had passed. She grinned and turned to Kara's desk, only to see the Kryptonian hunched over with her forehead on her desk and holding her stomach. Nia was quick to rush to her.
"I think someone poisoned my potstickers," Kara muttered, looking up at Nia with a pout.
"I think they were just old. Why didn't you throw them away?" Nia asked, grabbing a trash can.
"I never throw them away. But -" Kara didn't even finish her sentence before grabbing the trash can and puking into it. Nia scrunched up her face as Kara vomited, but she reached over and rubbed the blonde's back. Kara whimpered as she hugged the can, tears in her eyes.
"I think you are done for the day. I'm so glad your girlfriend is the boss," Nia said, grabbing her phone. She went to their chat.

She got food poisoning, taking her home.
She shoved her phone in her pockets and looked at Kara, who looked miserable. She looked up at Nia. "My potstickers betrayed me."
Nia let out a chuckle, helping the other girl up and leading her home, knowing that Alex or Lena were going to help her.

Kara knew something was off before she was fully awake. Her stomach felt queasy, her head had a slight throb, and her body just felt off. It felt like she was on a boat.
She had just fought another alien and expelled all of her energy into defeating them, thus solar flaring for the upteenth time. She had collapsed in the rain, half-conscious. Upon being checked over, Alex sent Kara home to rest. Kara just collapsed on her bed and slept, not even taking off her shoes.
Kara opened her eyes, but the sun was too bright. She screwed her eyes shut and took a deep breath. She turned so her back was to the windows and opened her eyes again, but they felt so heavy. She was cold, and sweaty. She felt disgusting. She used her elbows to push herself up, but then the world seemed to spin around her. She let herself fall back on the bed with a groan.
She reached for her pocket and searched for her phone. She pulled it out of her pocket and looked at it, seeing that it was dead. Letting out a groan, she let the phone drop to the phone and just laid in bed.
That was it. She was going to die. Alone.
-SG-
Alex frowned, staring at her phone. She had tried calling Kara five times in the last twenty minutes. And every call went to voicemail. That and seeing how exhausted Kara was the night before worried her. She knew how Kara was, a Kryptonian Klutz, she was scared that her little sister had fallen and hit her head.
She shoved her phone in her pocket and looked at the door in front of her. She grabbed Kara's key and opened the door, looking around. The place was quiet, too quiet for Alex's liking.
Kara was always singing, or watching the news, or one of her television shows. The lack of noise was throwing Alex off. She placed her things on the island and walked towards the bedroom. "Kara?"
Alex stopped at Kara's bedroom, and saw the Kryptonian lying on the bed, unconscious, her phone on the ground. Alex rushed to her little sister and placed her hand on her arm. She looked at Kara's face, seeing the lack of color, with the exception of her cheeks. Kara's face was covered in sweat, but she was trembling. With one touch to her forehead, Alex was able to tell that her little sister was sick.
Kara whimpered and tried to move from the touch. "No."
"Hey, it's me," Alex whispered, moving Kara's hair from her face.
The blond struggled to open her eyes, but she was able to do so. She looked at Alex with puppy eyes and sighed. "I'm dying Alex," Kara muttered, letting out a small cough.
Alex smiled fondly at her sister. She shook her head. "You're not dying Kara, you're sick."
"Make it better," Kara muttered, closing her eyes again.
"I'm going to try. But I do need you to sit up. We have to get you out of these clothes and into clean ones."
"I don't feel good," Kara whispered, rubbing her eyes.
"I know, but you still have to. I can't have you heating up."
Kara whined and sat up with Alex's help. She opened her eyes and looked at Alex. "Everything is moving. It won't stop."
"I know honey, but we are going to make you better."
Kara groaned, raised her arms when urged to, stood off the bed with Alex's help, stepped into the shorts and helped into the living room. There, Kara laid on the couch and closed her eyes. Alex went to her kitchen and opened the fridge, seeing just junk food. KNowing that Kara needed something warm, she grabbed her phone and opened the chat.
Kara down. Need soup. She is sick.
Lena was quick to respond.
On it.
She shoved her phone in her pocket and grabbed her a towel, running it through cold water. She went back to Kara and looked at her sleeping sister. With a soft smile, she placed the towel on Kara's forehead, watching as Kara scrunched up her face, but relaxed.
Alex barely had time to react when Kara gasped, turned to her side and puked all over the ground. Alex just stared at the mess, knowing she would have to clean it up. She turned to Kara with a glare. "I hate you."
"'M sorry," Kara muttered, looking up at Alex with tears in her eyes. Alex couldn't be too mad, seeing how sad and pathetic her younger sister looked. Alex rolled her eyes and moved Kara's hair out of her face.
"It's okay, we just need you to get better, okay?"
"I'm not dying?" Kara asked in a small voice.
"No, you're just sick. Your fever is making you dizzy. And your stomach is just upset," Alex told the woman.
Kara let out a small sigh. "I'm glad you're here."
Alex smiled fondly. "I'm glad I'm here too. Now you wait right here. You need to have a cool bath and I'll clean this up. You do owe me when you are better."
Kara hummed in return.

Kara stared at the soup in front of her. She pouted, not liking how healthy it all looked. She looked up at Alex and Lena, who were looking at her.
"Do I have to?" Kara asked, her voice croaky with tiredness and throat pains.
"It will make you feel better," Lena told her in a soft voice.
Kara pouted and looked at the liquid. "It's boring," she whined, pouting up at her sister and girlfriend. Both women just stare back. "Can I at least put potstickers or doritos in it or something? I can dip pizza in it."
"No," Alex said, her voice firm.
Kara sighed, turning her attention to the soup. "What if my stomach doesn't like it?"
"Just eat the damn thing Kara," Alex told her, giving her the big sister look.
The Kryptonian looked at Lena, "I'll read you a story before bed. And maybe a kiss goodnight. But only if you finish your soup."
With a pout, Kara grabbed the bowl and brought it up to her lips, ready to drink the liquid, when her hands trembled and the bowl slipped. The contents fell onto Kara's lap, and the bowl clattered on the ground.
"OH MY GOD!"
"IT HURTS!"
"DAMN IT KARA!"
