You're The One Who Gives Us All Hope, Not Supergirl
Kara was in Lena's closet, their closet now, putting her things up. She had the day off from Catco and had solar flared, meaning she had a free day and decided to clean and fix her things so Lena could relax when she got home.
She wasn't in the closet, humming a tune when she nodded and turned, ready to head out, when the door didn't open. She frowned, not remembering seeing a problem when she entered. Trying the knob again, she felt panic run through her body.
"No," Kara whispered, turning the knob. She pushed against the door, but it didn't budge. She could feel her heart start to push against her chest. She tried the knob again, tears filling her eyes. "No," she gasped, her breathing became heavy. She patted her pockets, but her phone wasn't in there. She banged against the door. "Help!" Kara pushed herself away from the door and took a deep breath. She slowly counted in her mind, when she opened her eyes. She could feel the walls closing in. She pushed against the door, before raising her hand and slamming her fist against it. She could see the door become stained with red, but she didn't stop, slamming her fist over and over again.
She had to get out.
She just had to get out.

Lena shoved her key into the front door, ready to relax with Kara. She walked into the apartment, only to walk into silence. She frowned, not used to the silence. Kara always had music or the television on. She didn't enjoy the silence, it brought up memories from her time in the Pod. She told Lena about her time there, about how the silence was the worst part.
She kicked her shoes off and walked towards their bedroom, expecting to see Kara asleep, but the bed was empty.
"Kara?" she called out, looking around, when she heard it.
A small whimper. She wasn't sure, but it sounded like it came from the closet. Walking towards it, she saw an image that would haunt her.
Kara was curled up against the wall, hugging her knees. Her knuckles were red, and swollen. The door was covered in blood, and Kara's eyes were staring at the wall, tears in them, but she seemed to catatonic.
Lena knelt down in front of Kara and gently touched Kara's arm, only for the girl to jump up and press herself against the wall.
"Kara, it's me, it's Lena. You're okay Kara, you're okay," Lena whispered, letting the other girl get her bearings.
Kara looked at Lena with tears in her eyes. She opened her mouth, her lips trembled. She looked at the door, and in the smallest voice said, "I-I couldn't get out."
"Can I hug you?" Lena whispered, not sure if hugging Kara would cause her to panic.
Kara slowly nodded, still dazed. "I couldn't get out. I was stuck, and I couldn't get out. I, I couldn't get out."
Lena felt her own tears fill her eyes as she rubbed Kara's back. The Kryptonian just leaned forward, repeating the same four words over and over again. Lena moved them so she was against the wall and Kara was curled on her lap. She stared at the opened door. She could just imagine Kara slamming her fists against the door over and over again, not caring if she broke her hands, as long as she got out.
Lena's tears fell as she helped Kara, rubbing her back.
"I was so scared," Kara whispered, trembling on her lap.

The next day, after getting Kara's hands checked out and finding fractures, Lena had the closet door taken out. Kara spent the day being dotted over, and the Kryptonian couldn't complain. Lena made sure there was some sort of light, some sort of sound.
Kara spent the day lying in the bed, her hands in casts, while Lena stuck glow in the dark stars on the ceiling.

Kara took a bit of her sticky bun while she walked back to work. She was having a good day, having had breakfast with Lena, and her article getting great responses. She had exposed an alien auctioning ring. Most of the organization had been caught, but some were on the run.
She finished the sticky bun in her hand and looked into her bag to see if there was another when a car stopped next to her. She barely had time to react when the door burst opened and men in masks rushed out to grab her. Kara's bag fell and she was dragging in the van with a cloth over her mouth.
Kara clawed and elbowed and kicked, but nothing helped her. The van door shut and the car started to drive off. After a few minutes with the cloth over her mouth, the chemicals took effect and her vision darkened.

Nia was texting Brainy, when she suddenly had a dream.
Kara was tied to a chair, men surrounding her. Her lip was busted, and her right eye was bruised. Nia couldn't hear what the men were saying, when one of them slapped Kara.
Nia gasped, standing up. She turned to look at Kara's office, to see it empty. She looked at the time, and Kara should have been back. Nia grabbed her phone and dialed Alex's number, all while heading to Lena's office.
"Nia?" Alex answered, just as Nia entered the office. Lena looked up with a small frown.
Nia placed her phone on speaker. "I just had a dream, and Kara was tied up."
"Where?"
"I don't know. She was tied up and she was hurt. The men were wearing masks," Nia told the two women, and Lena seemed to become angry. Nia didn't want to think about what she would do.
"Go to the tower, I will meet you guys there," Lena ordered, and Nia nodded. She quickly left the building, ready to do anything to get Kara back.

"I'm really happy I met Oliver Queen," Lena muttered, as she typed on her tablet. She looked up to see Kelly's confused look and shot her a small smile. "Trackers. I only turn them off when Kara doesn't have her powers."
"Do you have a location yet?" Brainy asked, looking at the CEO.
Lena nodded, "Got it, let's go."

Kara could feel the blood in her mouth as the man glared at her. "This is all your fault! You cost us millions!"
Kara looked up at him and shook her head. "It's your own fault. Aliens are also living creatures. They should be treated like animals!"
"Aliens are nothing but animals. They are lucky to be on our land, on our planet," the man snarled.
"They deserve to be here more than you," Kara snapped, only to receive a fist to the face. Kara blinked, her vision blurring for a second.
The man grabbed her from her hair and looked into her eyes. "You're going to pay for what you did."
Kara felt the gun pressed against her head and she closed her eyes. She took a deep breath, a soft smile on her face.
She hoped her friends didn't miss her too much. That Lena would find love again, that Alex would be able to be happy with Kelly. She hoped J'onn knew that she loved him and he did protect her. She hoped her mother forgave her and that she would be happy that Kara was going to be with her father in Rao's light.
She took a deep breath, pulling at the ties one more time, but with no avail. With one final breath, she accepted her fate and just waited for the end to come.
But it never did. Before the man could pull the trigger, the doors burst open and in came her friends, her family. She opened her eyes and watched as Brainy, Nia and J'onn took down the men, while Alex and Lena ran to her.
"You found me," Kara whispered, tears in her eyes.
Alex nodded. "I'll always find you."
Kara let herself feel, and didn't stop the sobs from escaping her body. Lena and Alex each untied Kara's wrists and pulled her off the chair. The Kryptonian just sagged against them, unable to hold herself up.
Alex pulled Kara to her and pressed her lips against Kara's forehead, holding her tightly. Lena ran her hand over Kara's arm, letting her know she was there.
"You saved me," Kara whispered, gripping Lena's hand and hugging her sister closer. "You found me."
"Always," Alex whispered.

The Earth had been invaded by the alien species of Lunarians, with an army of Moon Creatures. Kara, the Super Friends and DEO agents were ready to defend the Earth.
Kara looked at her team, and the army of the other group.
"Last chance, leave Earth alone," Kara ordered, her cape blowing behind her.
Primor-Trena, the leader, smirked, a blaster in her arms. "We don't surrender." She said, and the army around her charged. The Heroes of Earth charged. Kara went after Primor-Trena, who pushed her blaster back and met Kara's fists.
The two were evenly matched, but Kara used her heat vision to throw the villain back.
Primor-Trena laughed and stepped towards Kara, and looked into her eyes. She gripped her gun and aimed it at the Kryptonian. Before Kara could react, Primor-Trena pulled the trigger and a red blast was released. The blast engulfed Kara, and her powers were gone. Kara stared at the Lunarian with wide eyes, only for the woman to walk up to Kara and swung her fist. Kara was able to evade it. She didn't see a second Lunarian behind her.
Kara felt a kick to her back and she fell forward. Primor-Trena smirked as she pulled her up by her outfit.
"You have lost Krytponian, and I am going to love killing you," the woman said as she slammed her fist against Kara's chest, and she felt something crack.
She let out a gasp, when Lunarian did it again. She slammed her fist against Kara's temple, and Kara collapsed, her world going dark.

"Supergirl!" Nia exclaimed, her eyes widening as she watched the yellow alien slam her fist against Kara's head and the Kryptonian just collapsed. Before she could say anything, a portal appeared and a blur came out of it, grabbing Kara and running off. Nia watched as more heroes came out of the portal.
Nate smirked, "Anyone needs Legends?" he questioned, and the battle continued.

Barry dropped Kara on a gurney in the DEO and the medics were quick to start working on Kara, all while Lena watched with tears in her eyes. She had never seen Kara look so broken before.
Alex and Caitlin suddenly appeared next to her and ran into the room. Lena paced as she watched Alex, Caitlin and the other medical personnels work on Kara. Lena's eyes stayed on the monitor, watching the peaks of the heart monitor, she watched as they got lower and lower.
Lena's own heart stopped when it flatlined. When Kara flatlined. She pressed her hand against the window as the medics all tried to bring her back. But all Lena could stare at was Kara's lifeless body, just lying there.
"She's gone," Lena whispered, watching the scene in front of her.
"Lena?" she heard someone whisper, and she felt someone pull her back and wrap their arms around her.
"I can't lose her," Lena cried, shaking her head. "I can't lose her."
"Alex and Caitlin are doing everything they can to make sure you don't," Kelly whispered, rubbing her back.
It felt like hours, when it was only minutes, when Kara's heart monitor started to peak again. Kelly kept her arms around Lena and pulled her away. "This isn't healthy," Kelly whispered, rubbing Lena's back, "she wouldn't want you to see that."
J'onn, M'gann, Brainy, Nia, Barry, Cisco, Sara and her team sat around the conference room when Nia and Lena walked in. They stood up, all of them waiting for answers, all of them scared when they saw Lena's face.
"They are still working on her," Kelly told them, tears in her own eyes.
Sara and Barry quickly made sure that Lena had a chair and was comfortable.
"Kara would kill me if I didn't take care of you," Barry whispered, giving her a smile.
Lena tried to smile back and Barry nodded. She sat down and waited.

Kara woke up a few hours later. Her head was groggy, and her body throbbed, but otherwise, she felt okay. She pushed herself up and smiled at Alex, who was asleep on a chair. Kara pulled the wires off her body and sat up, feeling a dull pain shoot through her chest. She froze until it passed.
"Alex," she called out, standing up. "Alex!"
The older Danvers shot up, her eyes looking around. She looked at Kara with relief in her eyes. "You're awake."
Kara gave her a half smile. "I'm awake. What happened after I was knocked out?"
Alex stood up and helped Kara sit back down, turning off the sun lamps. She sat down next to Kara. "Barry brought you here, and Cisco brought me and Cailtin here. We, your skull was cracked, and your ribs were broken. Your lung was punctured. We lost you for a few minutes, and-" Alex's voice cracked. She looked at Kara with tear filled eyes. "I-I didn't know if you were going to wake up."
Kara pulled Alex in for a hug. "I'm here. I'm not going anywhere."
Alex held Kara tightly, as if she was scared of letting go. Alex sniffled, and Kara tightened her hold. "Your heart stopped."
"I'm still here Alex, I'm still here," Kara told her, "I'm here."
"I can't leave me."
Kara shook her head. "Never."

Alex helped Kara to the others. The Kryptonian was not one hundred percent. Everyone stood up when she walked in, before making a path to the one person who had to see her. Lena stared at Kara with tears in her eyes, before running to her, wrapping her arms around the blond. Kara let out a small laugh as she stumbled. Barry and Alex made sure they didn't fall.
"I thought we lost you," Lena whispered in her ear.
"Never," Kara replied, holding Lena tightly. She looked at her team and their friends. "What happened?"
"White Martians exist," Cisco said, his eyes wide.
Kara let out a small laugh, her arms still around Lena, who hadn't let her go.
J'onn told Kara about how they won with the help of the Earth 1 heroes and the martians. Kara smiled, thanked the visitors and helped her family tightly.
"The strongest person we know is so fragile," Sara joked, winking at Alex, getting an eye roll back.
"Don't we know it," Alex muttered, shaking her head. Kara just laughed.

"You died," Lena whispered, hugging Kara tightly.
"I'm still here," Kara replied, grabbing Lena's hand and pressing it over her chest. "You can feel my heart."
Lena closed her eyes, feeling the heartbeat under her hand. She could feel the knot in her throat tightened, and before she could stop herself, she was crying. "I thought I lost you," Lena cried, falling into Kara's arms.
The Kryptonian pulled her tightly. She held Lena tightly. "I'm still here. Nothing is going to keep me away from you. I'll always come back."
"You can't promise that," Lena said, her face pressed against Kara's chest.
"I can try. And I will always try to come home, to come back to you and Alex." She tried to pull away, but Lena shook her head, letting out a small cry.
"Just a little longer," Lena said, trying to get the image of the flat line out of her head. She took a deep breath.
"Take as long as you need. I'm not going anywhere."

Dreamer had been taken, and the team was looking for her. Kara wanted to help, but without her powers, she would only get in the way. And it was driving Kara insane.
Kelly pulled Kara away to Alex's office when she saw how antsy Kara seemed.
"Kara?" Kelly whispered, seeing Kara grab a knick knack Alex kept on her desk. She watched as Kara gave the item her attention, before turning to Kelly.
"Nia is missing, shouldn't you be helping Alex to find her?" Kara asked, looking at Kelly.
"I wanted to see if you needed help," Kelly said, leaning back.
"Nia needs everyone's attention," Kara told the other women, shaking her head.
"Nia has everyone else. You have me. Talk to me Kara," Kelly urged, giving her a smile.
Kara tightened her jaw, and looked back to the item in her hand. "Nia is missing, and there is nothing I can do. I can't help, I can't do anything," Kara said, anger in her voice. "I am a superhero, and there is nothing I can do. I'm useless."
"Kara, you-"
Kara threw the item across the room, and Kelly just watched it fall to the ground. "People are dying every single day I don't have my powers! And there is nothing I can do about it! Every time I blow my powers, people die! People I could have saved!"
Kelly could hear the pain in her voice. "Kara, you can't save everyone."
Kara looked at Kelly with a frown. "I have to try. I-I need to try."
Kelly didn't respond, she just wrapped her arm around Kara's arms, holding her close. "Kara, you are more than your powers. You are more than Supergirl. You need to see that. You are Kara Danvers. You are the one who gives us all hope, not Supergirl."
Kara nodded, rubbing her eyes. They pulled away and Alex rushed into the room. "We found her. We are going to go get her," the director said, giving them a nod.
Kara and Kelly watched as she rushed away. The Kryptonian turned to Kelly. "Are you going to go with them?"
Kelly stared at Kara, seeing her. "No, I'm going to stay here with you."
