Kara Has Her Own Hospital Room?

Alex crossed her arms as her agents debriefed her on an upcoming case. She felt her phone vibrate in her pocket and pulled it out, seeing that Kara Danvers was calling. Kara had blown out her powers recently, and had been her usual self. Assuming everything was going to be okay, Alex silenced her phone and shoved it back into her pocket.

It wasn't even a minute later when the phone started to ring again. She sighed and looked at it to see it was Kara again. She shook her head, shoving her phone back into her pocket, knowing that she couldn't get distracted, not when they were going to go after a dangerous alien.

Lena rubbed her head as the board member spoke. She had wanted to get out of there, but the men wouldn't stop talking. Lena could just sit there and listen. She felt her phone vibrate and looked to see that Kara was calling. Lena wanted to answer, but knew that she had to give those men her attention before they threw tantrums. Lena took a deep breath and with a heavy heart, rejected the call.

Kara didn't call again.

Nia was working on an article, her eyes on the screen as her fingers flew on the keyboard. She was happy, the article was coming to her, she was in the moment, and felt like if she kept going, she could get it done as soon as possible and end her day early. She and Brainy were planning a double feature date and she was excited to spend time with her boyfriend.

Her phone started to vibrate, and her eyes shifted to it for just a second, seeing Kara's name flash. She stopped her typing and stared at the phone, wanting to answer, but knowing that if she did, her mojo would leave and she would be stuck in her article.

Kara was a reporter. She knew the sacrifices that had to be made in the moment. She had rejected her fair share of calls. Nia placed her phone on silent and turned it, going back to her article.

Kara was going to be okay, she just knew it.

-SG-

Kara leaned against the building, her body covered in sweat. Her breathing was heavy, and her body hurt. Her eyes didn't want to stay open, and she felt cold, so, so cold. She placed her head on the wall next to her and closed her eyes, trying to stay upright. Grabbing her phone, she dialed a fourth number. She just hoped they answered.

-SG-

J'onn was going over an investigation a client had asked about, when his phone started to ring. Seeing Kara's name, he answered it, knowing she wouldn't have called if it wasn't important.

"Kara?"

"J'onn," Kara exclaimed, relief in her voice. "J'onn, my father is here."

J'onn stood up, a frown on his face. "Kara, is Jeremiah still with you?"

"No J'onn, Zor-el, my father," Kara told him, a slight slur in her voice.

"Where are you Kara?"

"Home," she responded. J'onn quickly grabbed his jacket and took off to Kara's apartment. He flew in through her window and found her in the kitchen, sitting on the ground. Her face was pale and covered in sweat. Her eyes looked unfocused.

"Kara," he whispered, kneeling down next to her.

Kara blinked and looked at him, with a confused look. "J'onn, you're here."

"Kara, how long have you been sick?" J'onn asked, looking into Kara's dazed eyes.

"I got hurt," Kara muttered, lethargically pulling her shirt up to show J'onn an infected cut, a really infected cut. J'onn closed his eyes to take a deep breath.

The older man reached to touch Kara's forehead and flinched at the pure heat coming out of her head. "C'mon, we need to go," J'onn said, picking up Kara.

"J'onn, my father is here," Kara whispered, her eyes wide.

"I know Kara, but we have to go," J'onn told her, carrying her out of the apartment.

Lena sped through the National City General Hospital, until she saw J'onn, Kelly, Alex, Brainy and Nia in the waiting room. She passed the reception desk, when she was stopped by one of the nurses.

"Lena, Kara is going to be just fine. The antibiotics are doing their work," the nurse said, giving the green eyed woman a smile. "She's in her usual room."

"Thank you," Lena said, nodding. She turned to see Alex staring at her.

"She's going to be okay?"

Lena nodded, "Yeah, Megan wouldn't lie to me."

"Since when do you know the hospital staff?"

"I've donated," Lena said, frowning, but she could feel her cheeks heat up.

"Kara has her own hospital room?" Nia asked, crossing her arms over her chest.

Lena bit her lip. "Well-"

Before

Kara and Lena were walking down the street, holding hands. They just had dinner at a fancy restaurant. Kara and Lena were enjoying their silent day, Kara being human, and Lena not having a project at the moment. Lena looked over at Kara, who was looking up at the skyscrapers.

"It's a beautiful night," Kara whispered, turning to look at Lena.

"It is, and I get to share that with you," Lena replied, pulling Kara closer. "I am so in love with you."

Kara blushed and smiled fondly at Lena. "I love you too. I think I knew you were special to me when I first met you."

The two moved closer and shared a quick kiss. Kara took a step back and ran her fingers across Lena's palms. She brought Lena's hand up and gave the back of her hand a kiss. "I am so happy with you."

Lena interlaced their fingers together as the two walked down the street. A slab of cement separated the sidewalk and the patch of grass. With a grin, Kara jumped up onto it, only for her heels to slip.

With a yelp, Kara slipped and fell on her back, her head bouncing off the sidewalk.

"Kara!" Lena exclaimed, falling to her knees next to her girlfriend.

Kara seemed dazed, staring up at Lena. She smiled softly. "You're like an angel," Kara muttered, a small slur in her words.

Lena blushed but chose not to think too much about it.

"What hurts?" Lena asked, looking down at the girl.

"Nothing, cause you're here," Kara beamed, a small grin on her face.

"I'm going to touch your head, okay," Lena warned her, as she gently raised Kara's head and winced when she felt the blood.

Kara gave Lena a goofy smile. "You can touch me anywhere."

Lena rolled her eyes and grabbed her phone, dialing 9-1-1. "Just stay awake."

Kara gave her a grin, her eyes glazing over. Lena took off her jacket and placed it under Kara's head. Lena ran her hand through Kara's hair. The Kryptonian seemed to lean into it. The ambulance arrived shortly after, adn Lena held Kara's hand the whole way to the hospital.

"She's going to be okay," the paramedic said, giving Lena a smile.

The green eyed woman nodded, a small roll of her eyes. She looked at Kara, who was unconscious. "I know she is."

Kara was wheeled to a hospital room, 201, and Lena was right behind. The doctors checked her over, before declaring a mild concussion and wanting to keep Kara overnight to make sure it wasn't too serious.

-SG-

Kara and Lena walked through the history museum, the former wanting to see the dinosaurs. Lena couldn't say no, knowing it made her girlfriend happy.

Kara released Lena's hand and rushed to look at the bones in front of her. She frowned, crossing her hands over her chest when Kara got too close to the structure.

"Don't touch," Lena warned, her eyes on her girlfriend.

Kara looked at Lena with a look of betrayal. "I know not to touch."

"I'll buy you a stuffed dinosaur," Lena responded, a smirk on her face.

Kara opened her mouth to respond, but shut it, turning back to the dinosaur. Lena grinned, and looked into her bag to grab her phone, when she heard it.

Crash!

Taking a deep breath, Lena looked up to see that the whole dinosaur structure had collapsed on top of Kara. Lena looked over to see the tears in the eyes of an employee. Lena reached into her bag and took out a check book. "How much?"

Room 201

Lena watched as Kara gently ran her fingers over the t-rex on her lap, the doctor working on the stitches on her forehead.

Kara looked at Lena with a pout, the blood already dried on her head. Lena rolled her eyes and stood up, standing next to Kara and holding her hand. She kissed the side of her girlfriend's head, knowing it was what Kara needed.

-SG-

"Wait," Nia interrupted, looking at Lena with wide eyes. "She's the reason the museum was closed?"

Lena just looked at her with an eyebrow raised.

"Alright, so continue."

Room 201

Lena watched as the doctor unwrapped Kara's fingers. Kara's fingers had snapped when she tried to catch a basketball.

-SG-

Kara kept her hands over her eyes while the doctor pulled pieces of glass from her leg.

-SG-

Kara's hand was extended on the table while the doctor inspected the burn on her palm.

-SG-

Kara's leg bounced in the waiting room, her jacket covering her arm, Lena was sitting next to her, when Nurse Megan saw them. She beamed, walking to them. "Kara, Lena, your room is ready," she said, and the blond blushed. She looked at Lena, who placed her hand on Kara's back and gently pushed her.

"Kara, what happened this time?" the doctor asked, raising an eyebrow.

Kara pulled her jacket with Lena's help and showed it to the doctor. Lena flinched at how the wire was wrapped around her arm. "I saw a dog."

-SG-

Kara pulled Lena close, giving her a kiss. Lena smiled into the kiss, Kara's lips having a faint taste of chocolate ice cream. Lena pulled away and looked up at her girlfriend. "I love you," Lena whispered, and Kara beamed.

"I am so in love with you," Kara replied, linking their hands.

People started to scream, and the two women looked back to see a car coming straight to them. Kara turned to Lena and pushed her. Lena fell backwards, her head hitting the ground, but she didn't register the pain. She just watched as the car hit Kara. The Kryptonian's body slammed into the windshield. The car kept driving, and Kara hit the ground.

Lena rolled onto her stomach and pushed herself up. She felt the world spin, there was a ringing in her ear, but she pushed through it. She crawled to Kara.

"Kara," Lena whispered, the pain on her head making itself known. "Kara, c'mon."

The blonde didn't open her eyes, and Lena could feel her heartbeat in her chest. Lena looked up at the onlookers. "Call 9-1-1!" She looked down at Kara. "Hey, darling, please open your eyes. I need you to open your eyes." Lena's vision blurred, and her stomach rolled. She shook her head. "I need you to open your eyes Kara."

Lena heard the sirens. "They are coming, you're going to be okay." Lena closed her eyes, her breathing became heavy. "You're going to be okay."

She heard the ambulance stop, and she looked over, to see the paramedics rush to them. One of them went to Kara, and the second pulled Lena away.

"Where were you hurt?" the paramedic asked, but Lena just looked at Kara.

"Kara," Lena whispered, her eyes on the girl. She watched as the paramedic placed a c-collar on the Kryptonian's neck, and flashed a light in her eyes. The paramedic in front of Lena showed her a flashlight.

Lena turned her head and puked on the ground.

"Wait, is Kara contagious?" Alex asked, her eyes wide.

Lena inhaled, nodding softly. "Oh yeah."

Before

Lena and Kara were exiting the elevator, as the door closed behind them. Lena took another step, only to get pulled backwards and slam against the elevator door. She let out a gasp.

-SG-

Kara beamed at Lena. "Watch," the Kryptonian said, jumping up four steps at a time, only to lose her footing and falling backwards. Taking Lena down with her.

-SG-

Lena was carrying a box of pizza, only to slip on the wet ground and fall. Kara looked at her with wide eyes, a half empty cup in her hand. "Sorry."

-SG-

Lena and Kara were walking out of a store, when Kara gently pushed Lena and the raven haired woman crashed on the display window.

-SG-

Present

Nia and Alex were laughing, Kelly was trying not to laugh, Brainy looked amused, and J'onn was smiling. Lena rolled her eyes.

"Tell us more about your room," Nia said, her eyes wide filled with excitement.

"The name of the room changed," Lena said, a soft smile on her face.

-SG-

Kara was sitting on Lena's couch in her office, working on an article. Lena was at her desk, going over emails.

"She's not taking any visitors!" she heard Jess exclaim, as her office door burst opened. Kara and Lena both became alert. Kara even stood up, moving closer to Lena.

The man in front of them had a crazed look in his eyes.

"Sir- '' Lena started, but was interrupted by the man.

"Your family should be extinct," the man snarled, his body shaking in anger.

"Hey, she's not like her family," Kara said, moving closer to the man.

"Step back!" the man said, pulling out a gun, and Lena felt her heart stop. She reached for her security button under her desk and pressed it. She then looked at Kara, who's eyes were trained on the gun. "We haven't seen Supergirl in days. She won't save you now."

"Kara no!"

Kara reached for the gun and the man changed his target.

Bang!

Lena flinched at the sound and the security burst into the office. Kara and the man moved away from each other, both of them stunned. Her security grabbed the man and pulled him away. Lena ran around her desk and ran to Kara, taking her into her arms.

She pulled away and inspected the other woman, seeing blood on her arm. Lena quickly took Kara's jacket off and saw the gunshot wound on her arm. She used her jacket as a tourniquet and looked at Kara, who was staring at the wound with a small frown. She looked at Lena, the crinkle predominant on her face.

"I was hit," Kara said, dazed.

Lena helped Kara out of the building, "Let's get that fixed."

-SG-

Upon arriving at the hospital, Nurse Megan grinned upon seeing them. "Kara! Lena! Right this way."

The pale Kryptonian looked at Lena with wide eyes. "Like a restaurant."

Lena let out a small chuckle and helped Kara to the hospital room, Room 201. But when they reached it, they saw that the room plaque had changed. It read Room Kara.

Kara looked at it and froze, her eyes wide. Lena couldn't stop the laugh from escaping her throat.

Present

"Why didn't I know about this?" a worried look on her face, but she also couldn't stop smiling.

"Kara got her powers later that day and the wound was gone. There was no point in telling anyone," Lena said, shrugging.

"Lena, Kara is waking up if you want to see her," Nurse Megan said, signaling for the hallway.

Kelly smirked. "Please, lead us to Suite Kara."

With an eye roll, Lena led them to the room. They stopped in front of the room, and Nia laughed, taking out her phone to take selfies with the plaque. The rest of the group walked in to see a pale Kara laying on the bed.

"Hey darling," Lena greeted, and Kara gave her a dopey smile.

"Lena, my angel," Kara slurred, high on drugs.

Lena sat down next to her girlfriend.

"I always thought you had to donate money to get your name in a hospital, now we know you just have to come here a lot," Alex commented, a grin on her face.

"Don't forget she's dating the richest person in National City. She's already donating money, the visits are just a bonus," Kelly added, nodding her head.

"J'onn, my father from a third planet, I love you," Kara said, smiling at J'onn.

J'onn smiled and moved closer to Kara. "I love you too. Don't scare me like that again."

"Okay Papa Bear," Kara slurred, her eyes closing. She let out a little sigh, looking over to Lena. "You're too far," Kara muttered, rolling over to her, not realizing she was already at the edge.

Alex stared at Kara, who was in pain on the ground. Lena and Kelly were trying to pick her up. Nia was taking a video. Brainy was looking at the equipment. J'onn had his eyes closed, looking done with everyone.

"We are sending you away. Far, far away."
