We Are Raising Adult Children

This is set after shortly after drunk Kara in "Wait, Oliver, Sara, and Barry Are Babysitting Kara?"

On Barry, Sara and Oliver's walk back with drunk Kara, there was an accident. And Kara was taken to the hospital. Upon finding out, Lena was not happy. Sara disappeared from the hospital, Barry was too similar to Kara to hurt. So that left Oliver. Lena didn't feel any guilt when she pushed him down the stairs.

But that was the previous day. Kara was currently resting from some pain meds, while Barry, Sara and Oliver made themselves scarce. Alex, Kelly, Nia (with Brainy) gave the Earth Oners a tour, while J'onn and Joe were off being team dads somewhere.

Ava, Sara and Felicity decided to spend time with Lena, wanting to make a "Our Loved Ones Are Idiots" club. Lena was on the small two seat couch, while Ava and Felicity sat on the bigger seat couch. Iris sat across from them, and in between them on the coffee table were a bottle of wine, and four glasses.

Once all four glasses were filled, the four started to speak of their husbands/girlfriends.

"What's the dumbest thing they've ever done?" Ava asked, taking a sip of her drink.

Felicity snorted. "He sold his parents' company to a psychopath," Felicity said, shaking her head. She saw Lena, Iris, and Ava's interested expression, and smirked. She then started to speak of Isabel Rochev, and how she seduced Oliver and Robert queen, and how she had been working with Slade Wilson, who had a vendetta with Oliver.

Iris thought about her answer, before nodding. "He created Flashpoint. I mean, I get it, he had just lost his father, but it was seriously dumb. Everyone's lives changed, some for the worst. Some for the better."

Lena blinked. "I remember Kara telling me about it. It was when you two met her for the first time."

"Kara and Oliver were the only ones who took Barry's side. The rest of us were angry with how our lives had changed. My life wasn't altered too much, but it hurt to know that I had a different life. But we all forgave him, but that was one of the dumbest things he did."

"Well, this is a thing the whole team did, but it was Sara's idea. But she broke time. But we wouldn't have met if she didn't," Ava said, a soft smile on her face.

The three women turned to look at Lena, who was leaning back against her own chair. "She lied to me about her identity for years."

"How did you not know?" Ava asked, watching as Lena finished her wine and refilled her glass.

"I didn't want to believe it. Supergirl and I, we weren't in a good place for a long time, and Kara, she was my best friend. It was easier to believe that they weren't the same person. How did you guys find out about Barry, Sara and Oliver?"

"When Barry was in his coma, I touched his hand and felt a spark. A literal spark because of the lightning in his body. And then, one day when I met the Flash, I felt the same spark," Iris said, smiling at her memory.

"My former boss was a Legend. So I knew before I met Sara," Ava told her, amused.

Felicity let out a sigh. "Oliver revealed himself while he was bleeding out in the back of my car."

Iris laughed. "That sounds just like him. How did you find out about Kara?"

The smile left Lena's face, and she looked to the glass. "My brother, Lex, revealed to me that Kara was Supergirl after I shot him in the heart. Right before he died."

The mood had dropped, with the three women just staring at the CEO.

"What followed wasn't my greatest moment, but Kara and I have moved on. And we are in a good place," Lena finished off, a small smile on her face.

"Well to make you feel better, I shot a version of Barry," Iris inputted, a grin on her face.

"Oliver's mother shot him," Felicity added, shrugging. "It's how I met him actually."

"Thea shot and killed Sara, I think that's the third time she died? But it was really the first time?"

"Alex shot Kara, but Kara was kind of evil," Lena muttered.

"I think Barry told me about that. It was before he ended up on this Earth. Kara was infected by red kryptonite?"

"It brought out Kara's darkest feelings and thoughts. Even the happiest has demons," Lena said, her voice taking on a somber tone.

Iris gave her a smile that told Lena she understood. "Barry had a few of those moments. We almost lost him too."

"Enough of the sad stuff. Tell us about this other Barry?" Ava asked, interested. Lena leaned forward, interested to know of the others' experience with doppelgangers.

Iris started to explain the origin of Savitar, of time remnants, while the other three women listened.

"A similar thing happened to Kara," Lena said, before telling the women of Red Daughter. "Lex killed her, and she died saving Kara."

"Red Daughter is so much better though, she wasn't evil, just a confused Kara," Ava said, "I am glad I have not met an evil Sara."

"Evil Oliver and Evil Kara were enough for a lifetime," Felicity muttered, shivering at the thought. Iris shook her head, looking disturbed as well.

"Kara only told me a bit about Earth X. Nazi Oliver, and Nazi Kara ruled? And that Nazi Kara was dying, and she wanted my Kara's heart. Nazi Kara went nuclear, Oliver killed Oliver, and the good guys won," Lena told the women.

Felicity let out a laugh. "Oliver and Kara were the total power couple if you ask me."

Lena stared at Felicity. "What?"

"Kara never told you?" Iris asked, her eyes wide as if they just admitted a secret.

Lena shook her head, narrowing her eyes at Felicity. "What about Kara and Oliver?"

"Well, this was on another Earth, but they were married? Like full on in love and married?"

"Wait, Oliver and Kara were married?" Lena asked, wanting clarification.

"Their Nazi selves, but yeah," Iris answered, giving her a nervous smile.

Lena drank the rest of her wine and poured more. "So Oliver also wanted to cut my Kara's heart out? For his?"

"Nazi version, but pretty much."

"And Oliver let his Kara die?"

"Nazi, but yeah."

Lena stared at her wine for a second, before looking at the three women who were watching her. "He's lucky all I did was push him down the stairs."

"She told me she flew to my office on the bus!" Lena told the group. Two empty wine bottles were on the table, and all four women were relaxed.

"How did you not figure it out then?" Felicity asked, a small slur in her voice.

Lena shrugged. "I think that's when my crush on her began and she was so cute."

"Kara is adorable. How could anyone hate her?"

The CEO just raised her glass. "When did you guys figure out you were in love?"

"Zoom attacked Barry. He was hurt badly, and I just, I realized my feelings for him. I realized he was the one. He was always the one, I just never let myself see it," Iris said, a loving smile on her face. "Marrying him was the best day of my life."

"I wish I knew you then, I would have loved to see your love blossom," Ava said, smiling fondly.

"Me too," Lena added.

"We were attacked by Earth X, I think you guys saved yourselves from the trauma," Felicity said, "Especially seeing Kara and Oliver fight themselves."

"How about you then? When did you realize your feelings for Oliver?"

"I had a crush on him for a long time, But when we shared I love yous for the first time, it wasn't entirely real, we were trying to get Slade to come to us, but I wasn't playing a role. I really did mean it, I loved him, but it took him a while to realize. But I do think he meant it, deep down. He meant it, he just didn't know it yet."

"That's cute," Lena said, turning her attention to Ava. "What about you?"

"I think it was a gradual growth of love. But I think it really changed when I found out I was a clone. And Sara didn't care. She accepted me for who I was, and she told me she loved me shortly after. I wasn't in a space to accept love, but I know it was that moment," Ava said, seemingly lost in her memories.

"What about you Lena? When did you realize you were in love with Kara?" Felicity asked, looking excited to find out the answer.

"It started when I was arrested for allegedly breaking my mother out of prison. Everyone thought I was guilty, but Kara. She was the only one who believed me, even after everyone in her life was telling me I was guilty. But it really hit when Lex told me about Kara. It was why I reacted the way I did. I had put my heart into our friendship, and Kara just lied to me. It took longer for Kara to realize."

"Can I say we're in love with idiots?" Iris asked, looking at the four women.

"Hear hear," Facility muttered, laughing.

"What does that make us?" Ava questioned, looking deep in thought.

"Idiot lovers."

"So tell us about this Kara hospital room thing," Felicity said, sitting up. The other two women looked interested.

"Kara was thirteen when Krypton exploded. So she arrived on Earth at that age, twenty four years later. We don't know how much solar exposure she received, while she was out of the solar system. Clark received his powers gradually, and had his full powers by the time he reached double digits. Kara was thirteen, so she got her powers at once. It kind of imbalanced her. One minute she was a powerless child, the next she was a God. So whenever she loses that power, she has to rebalance herself. And it's a struggle. She didn't start losing her powers until after becoming Supergirl, so she spent twelve years being this powerful being no one could hurt. Her body forgets," Lena said, pouring another glass of wine.

"You are so lucky you are so rich," Iris muttered, "I would be bankrupt if that were Barry."

Lena laughed. "Kara is joining my insurance when we get married."

Felicity, who was taking a drink, coughed. Ava reached over and gave her back a few pats.

"Married?" Ava questioned, while the smile on Iris's face grew.

"I got a ring a few weeks after we had our first kiss. I know Kara is it for me," Lena said, thinking of the Kryptonian asleep in the other room.

"So you've been sitting on the ring for a few months now?"

"Can we see it?" Felicity asked, an eager expression on her face. Ava and Iris looked just as excited.

"I don't have it now, because of the x-ray. J'onn is holding it for me. I will show it to you before you guys leave."

The three women nodded, excited. Lena thought of the ring in J'onn possession. Before they could continue the conversation, the bedroom door opened. Everyone looked over to see a sleep Kara walk out. She had a small limp from where she crashed a car. She rubbed her eyes, looking around. She smiled softly when she saw Lena. The Kyptonian walked to her and curled up on the couch with her head on the lap.

Lena started to run her hand through Kara's hair as the medication took control and Kara fell back asleep.

Ava, Iris and Felicity smiled fondly. It wasn't long before the front door opened, and whispers were heard. They all looked over to see Barry get pushed into the loft.

Barry stumbled and gave everyone a smile. "Hey," he greeted, scratching the back of his head. "I-is it safe to be back? Asking for a friend."

Oliver and Sara looked in from the doorway, trying to be sneaky.

Lena looked at the three women. "We are raising adult children."

The three women nodded, agreeing.

Barry, Sara and Oliver all just stared at them, confused. Kara snuggled closer to Lena, and the CEO just continued to run her hand through the blond hair.

The Idiots™ were talking, away from The Idiots™ wives/girlfriends, when Lena showed them the ring. It was a beautiful ring a white diamond with a green and blue diamond on each side on a silver band.

The women tried to hold their squealing inside.

"You will all be invited to the wedding. Except Oliver, he can watch from the grave," Lena said, enjoying the reaction.

Ava, Iris and Felicity laughed, but Lena just stared at them.

"I'm serious."

Crash

Lena quickly turned to see that Kara had somehow fallen through a table, Barry tripped, Oliver and Sara were trying to help and failing.

Lena let out a sigh. "Children. We're in love with idiot children."
