Today Is the Day Oliver Queen Dies

Lena glared at the three people in front of her. Kara was currently unconscious on the bed, having crashed into a parked car while WALKING after the three "heroes" in front of her got her drunk. After they took her out her Lena's home without permission. (Not that Kara needed permission, she just needed supervision from an adult, something the three in front of her weren't.)

"You know, something about an angry woman is attractive," Sara Lance said, a half smirk on her face, but Lena just turned to her with pure rage in her eyes and it shut the blond up. "Yeah, I'm not here."

Lena watched as Sara slowly walked out of the hospital room, and disappeared into the hall. (Lena did not see her for the rest of the night.)

Lena then turned her rage to Barry, who looked like a nervous puppy. He reminded Lena so much of Kara that she couldn't be mad at him without feeling guilty. Lena's glare disappeared while looking at what could be Kara's male twin, before turning to Oliver. The blond male just stared back. Lena felt her anger return.

She was going to get her revenge. She just had to wait.

And wait she did. She was in the stairwell, just taking a moment to herself, when Oliver walked in. He was so unsuspecting. He was looking at his phone, probably texting Felicity.

The thought of Oliver's girlfriend made Lena think of her own girlfriend who was unconscious on a hospital bed, and she felt her anger return. She took a step forward. "Mr. Queen," she greeted, watching as he turned to look at her. He gave her a half smile, but Lena just stared back.

"Lena, I thought you were with Kara," Oliver said, looking confused.

"It's Ms. Luthor," was all she said, before pressing her hands on Oliver's chest and pushing him back. She watched as he tumbled down the stairs, the momentum being low enough it didn't do much damage. (Lena wasn't evil, she wasn't trying to decapitate a hero, just wanted to show her anger.) "That for letting Kara get hurt. Next time, I won't be as nice."

Oliver just stared up at her with surprise and fear in his eyes.

And that was the beginning of Oliver's fear for Lena and Lena's dislike for Oliver.

-SG-

Lena didn't hate Oliver. Not entirely. She was honestly grateful for his outlook of being a hero. He was more careful, although just as stupid as Kara and Barry. But Lena did know about how he "trained" Barry.

But then all the respect she had for him left when she found out about Earth-X Oliver and Kara.

HOW DARE A VERSION OF OLIVER LOVE KARA?

HOW DARE EVIL OLIVER TRY TO KILL HER KARA?

HOW DARE OLIVER TRY TO KILL A VERSION OF KARA?

HOW DARE EVIL OLIVER LET HIS KARA DIE?

Oh no, Lena wasn't happy. And all she could think was how lucky Evil Oliver was to have never met her. She would murder him with her bare hands. Earth-1 Oliver would have to do.

Lena found Oliver alone during Kelly and Alex's reception. Kara was singing with Barry, the two having the biggest grins on their faces. Lena looked at the blond man, her arms crossed over her chest. "Mr. Queen," she said, her voice filled with detest.

"Ms. Luthor, is there anything I can do to help you?" he asked, in what Lena could just assume was his charming voice. But it did nothing for her.

"I've heard about Earth-X," Lena told him, her eyes on her girlfriend.

Oliver frowned, looking at her. "What about that?"

"I heard about you and Kara," Lena responded, turning to look at Oliver, seeing the realization hit his eyes.

Lena smirked, seeing the fear creep back into his eyes.

"That was another me and Kara. This Kara and I would never," Oliver told her, trying to defend herself.

Lena raised an eyebrow. "You held an arrow to Kara's heart."

"That was an evil Kara. She was trying to get our Kara's heart!"

"My Kara, Mr. Queen. Even your other self couldn't protect Kara. This is strike two Mr. Queen," Lena told him, nodding softly.

"Can you stop with the Mr. Queen? It's really creeping me out."

"As it should Mr. Queen. Your lack of ability to care for Kara on any Earth is quite worrying. I sure do hope that you improve on that. Because if Kara is ever left in your care, and she is hurt, you will pay for it, with your life."

"How are you and Kara in a relationship? I haven't hurt you and you're this frightening. Kara was never scary when I," he stopped himself before he said too much.

"When you what, Mr. Queen," Lena said, her voice taking on a harder tone.

"Nothing. I will do better to care for Kara. I won't let her get hurt."

"See to it, Mr. Queen," Lena said, walking off to congratulate her girlfriend on her singing. She left Oliver behind with fear in his eyes.

-SG-

Lena wasn't able to take her revenge after the Kara-being-sent-to-Earth-1-for-her-own-good situation, if Kara was still under Oliver's care, Lena would have tased him then and there. That was strike two.

(And there was the time Kara turned into a puppy. The Kryptonian was unharmed, so Lena was able to look past it. So Lena would have called it a foul.)

But strike three. It came out of nowhere. Barry wanted to renew his vows with Iris, and invited Team Supergirl. Lena watched with adoration as Kara sang Barry's song for the couple. She could see Sara and Oliver arguing on the side. Lena ignored it, because the love of her life was singing. And even through it was a song from Barry to Iris, Lena could feel the love oozing out to her. She was watching it with a grin on her face.

Kara finished her singing and moved to sit next to Lena. The CEO smiled fondly and leaned into her. They watched as Barry and Iris spoke their vows. Lena could feel the love from the two, and felt honored to be able to witness.

Kara kissed Lena's cheek, a grin on her face. Felicity smirked, raising an eyebrow.

The vow renewal came to an end, the group of heroes and friends all went to the West home backyard to mingle.

Lena was getting a drink, when Sara popped up next to her. "Hey Lena, how are you doing?"

The brunette frowned, but seemed to be interested as to why the time traveling captain wanted to speak to her. Other than Kara, Lena didn't speak to the Idiots™. She got her team news from the wives. So Sara coming to speak to her was different. Unusual, unless it involved Kara in some way.

"I'm doing okay," Lena responded, taking a sip of her scotch.

Sara nodded. She looked at Kara, who was dancing with Barry, while Oliver watched off on the side, looking like an annoyed older brother.

"So, I wasn't supposed to tell you this, but Oliver has gotten me mad," Sara started, getting Lena's full attention. "So back in 2017 we all met Kara-"

"The dominators," Lena said, nodding her head. "That's when I met Kara too. But they told me about the mind control, about meeting all of you guys."

"She told you about meeting us?"

Lena nodded. "She told me that you guys were nice to her. I mean, except Rene, but that was expected."

"So she didn't tell you about Oliver?"

Lena frowned. "What about Oliver?"

"He was really mean to her. He hurt her feelings, sidelined her. He was being judgemental because she was an alien," Sara said, a small smirk on her face.

Lena placed her drink on the table. She turned her attention to Sara. "Wh-what do you mean he was being mean?"

Sara then told Lena about their time with the Dominators' fight. About how he was short with Kara, making her feel small.

"Why are you telling me this?" Lena asked, "you know what I plan to do."

Sara nodded. "It'll show him not to make me mad. Just don't kill him."

Lena got her scotch and smirked. She walked off to her girlfriend, shooting a glare at Oliver when she passed by. She smiled at Barry and asked to dance with her girlfriend. Barry went off to be with his wife.

-SG-

"What are you doing?" Kara asked, watching as Lena looked at her gun.

Lena looked up at Kara. "Today is the day Oliver Queen dies."

"Wh-what? Why?"

"Why didn't you tell me Oliver was mean to you before?"

"Because I didn't want you to do this."

"I wouldn't be so mad if I knew before."

"He was mean," Kara muttered, sitting down. "Did you know he shot Barry? When he trained him."

"I can get revenge for that too," Lena said, looking excited for that.

"Barry already got his revenge. Shot him back when they switched powers."

"I won't hurt him too bad," Lena said, kissing Kara's cheek.

"Fine, call if you need me to pick you up or take him to the hospital. I love you."

Lena smiled. "I love you too."

-SG-

"Thank you for meeting me," Lena said, looking out to the city. Oliver was standing behind her, his hands in his pockets.

"You left me no choice. This is kidnapping," Oliver said, rolling his eyes.

"Haven't you kidnapped people before? I don't think you're above this."

Oliver didn't respond. "So what did you want to talk about?"

"Sara came up to me, and told me some interesting things. Some fascinating things," Lena said, her eyes on the city.

"What did she tell you?" Oliver inquired, stepping closer to Lena. Lena could hear slight fear in his voice

"She told me about how you were mean to Kara when you first met her. And you know what, Kara told me that too. So imagine how angry I felt. But do you know what I realized?"

Oliver frowned. "What?"

"Strike three, you're out." Lena turned around and looked at Oliver. Lena held the gun up at the man. "Any last words Mr. Queen?"

"You have to look at it from my point of view. I live in a world where aliens are myths," Oliver said, raising his hands.

Lena raised an eyebrow. "Aliens are just being accepted in my world too, Mr. Queen. She is the friendliest person you can ever meet. And don't think I don't know about what you did to Barry."

"I was training him!"

"What do you have against happy people? Barry and Kara, they are the same."

"And I would die for them," Oliver said, giving Lena a small smile. "I love them. They are like my annoying little brother and sister."

Lena let the gun drop to her side. "That's good to hear. Too bad you already got two strikes."

Bang!

"Shit!" Oliver cried out, grabbing his shoulder. Lena shot his right side, away from his heart, not wanting to actually kill the man.

"Next time you meet a new hero, be nice," Lena told him, reaching for her watch and clicking the House of El coat of arms. Kara appeared in seconds.

"Mr. Queen needs help," Lena told Kara, who nodded.

Kara grabbed Oliver and flew to drop him off at the hospital. She returned to Lena, who just smiled at her. "Thank you for not killing him."

Lena just pressed her lips against Kara's. "I love you."

"I love you too. Now let's go home."

-SG-

"Welcome to the married crowd," Sara said, raising her shot glass.

Kara just beamed. She looked at the drink in her hand. "I'm marrying Lena in two days. I can't believe it's finally happening."

"And our wives will be best friends," Barry said, grinning.

"Is there any way I can stay unseen in the wedding?" Oliver asked, raising an eyebrow.

Kara laughed. She sat back, and looked at her engagement ring. "I know how you can get Lena to forgive you. Actually, I need all of your help."

Oliver raised an eyebrow. Sara and Barry looked interested.

-SG-

Barry looked at the mansion in front of him, "Are you sure this is a good idea? Is Lena going to want her there?"

Kara nodded. "My family is going to be there. My mother is going to be there, I think Lena deserves to have her own mother there too. Ready Ollie?"

"I'm going to regret this, but ready," Oliver said.

"What's the plan again?"

"You and Oliver will go in there and fight the guards. Barry is going to get rid of any kryptonite and I'm going to speak to Lillian," Kara said, making sure her black suit was good.

"I don't feel comfortable letting you go meet her alone," Oliver responded, "I have experience with my evil in-law."

"You just don't want Lena to actually kill you," Sara muttered, grinning.

"Let's do this," Kara said, nodding to her team.

Operation Get Lillian to go to Kara and Lena's Wedding was a go.

It didn't take long for the security to be dealt with, and the kryptonite to be put away. On her right to Lillian's office, Kara got Oliver. The two stood in front of the older women.

"Supergirl, Green Arrow, to what do I owe the pleasure?" Lillian asked, sitting back.

"I can see where Lena gets her Luthor-ness," Oliver muttered, getting an eye roll from Oliver.

"I am here to speak to you," Kara said, taking a step forward.

"And why should I listen to you?"

"Because I'm here for Lena," Kara told her, her thumb running over the engagement ring.

"What does my daughter want this time? Does she know you are here?"

Kara shook her head. "No. Lena and I, we're getting married in two days. And I am here to convince you to attend. I know you love Lena. You do see her as your daughter, and I know she would love you to be there."

"She's not my daughter," Lillian said, but Kara could hear the confidence falter.

"My mother had an affair with my father's best friend. And she got pregnant. My father knew that my sister wasn't his, but that didn't stop him from loving her. Blood, it doesn't dictate how much love you give to someone. I know you are this evil mastermind, but that doesn't mean you love your daughter any less. I know that you are proud of her, for how great her mind is. For how strong she is. Your values don't align, but you have lived as a family for years. No matter how many times you tell Lena and yourself that she's not your daughter, you know that's not true," Oliver said, taking a step forward. "Your daughter, she is brilliant, and strong. She literally shot me just because I wasn't nice to Kara."

That caused Lillian to smile. "She shot you?"

Oliver nodded. "On a rooftop. She shot me and then called Kara to take me to the hospital."

Lillian looked to Kara, who was listening. "And you knew what she had been planning?'

Kara nodded. "Yeah. All I asked was for her not to kill him. Anything else was fair game."

The man they were talking about looked at Kara with a betrayed look.

"That's what you get for being mean to me," Kara responded, a small smirk on her face.

Lillian looked at the two, before staring at Kara. "Your cousin, he destroyed my son's life. But you, you have brought happiness to my daughter. And if you can sit by and watch as your friend gets shot for pettiness, maybe you can be a great Luthor as well."

Kara beamed. She placed the wedding invitation on Lillian's desk. "We have to get going. But I do know Lena will be happy to see there. Hope you do decide to come."

And with that, Kara sped out of the building with Oliver.

"Do you think she's going to go?" Kara asked, looking at the building one last time.

"I do," Oliver responded, before turning to look at Kara. "Now tell me about you knowing Lena was going to shoot me!"

-SG-

Lena looked at her reflection, smiling softly. She looked at the reflection of two of her friends and Ruby.

"You look beautiful," Sam said, taking picture after picture.

"I never thought I would see the day Lena gets married," Andrea commented, holding a cup of wine. There was a knock on the door, and everyone turned. "If that's Kara."

Sam went to open it and saw Lillian standing there. "What are you doing here?"

"I am here because my daughter is getting married," Lillian said, making her way into the room. "Lena, I would like to speak to you, alone."

Sam and Andrea looked at Lena, who nodded. Lena waited for the door to close before addressing her mother.

"What are you doing here?" Lena asked, her arms crossed over her chest.

"As I said, my daughter is getting married and I would like to be a part of it."

"How did you know about this?"

"Your fiance and her friends came to visit me. Told me about how I should be here. I hate to say it, but you chose a good wife, for an alien."

"Kara visited you?"

"Lena, I do want to be here. I know I have been hard on you. But I have been so proud. I am proud of you Lena. And I do love you."

Lena felt tears fill her eyes. She turned so her mother couldn't see the effect had on her. "I've always wanted to hear you say that. For so long, I have worked for your approval. For your love. And not once did you give it to me. I was always second best, the replacement."

"I was clouded by my anger, my need for revenge, that I never saw what was in front of me. Lena, I should have released how much of a strong, smart, wonderful daughter you were. And it might be too late for me to have that relationship with you. But I would like to be a part of your life now."

"I am marrying Kara," Lena said, turning back to her mother.

Lillian nodded. "I will be courteous."

Lena nodded. "You can stay."

Lillian nodded and started to walk to the door, before stopping. "That friend that was with your fiance. He told me you shot him. Doesn't seem like a bad person to keep around."

Lena just watched her walk away.

-SG-

The music was playing, and Lena could hear Barry's voice. Kara had spoken to her about letting Barry sing, and how he wanted to repay the favor. She stood at the doors, waiting to start walking, when Oliver appeared next to her. He gave her a smile.

"Thank you," Lena said, staring at him.

Oliver raised an eyebrow. "Kara is unharmed. It was hard, but we kept her safe."

Lena shook her head. "Not because of that. My mother, she told me about what you did with Kara. Thank you."

Oliver gave her a smile. "I did what anyone would do. Everyone deserves to have a family at their wedding. My parents passed before they could see me get married."

Lena nodded.

"Lena, I know we didn't get the right start, but I would like to walk you down the aisle. After all we've been through, it would be an honor."

The bride looked at him, before giving a nod. "I would love that, Oliver."

The blond smiled and offered his arm. Lena took it and off they went.

Lena saw Kara at the end, wearing a beautiful white dress. Lena could feel the tears fill her eyes, as she stared at the woman she was going to call her wife. Oliver walked up to the front, and gave Kara a hug before taking a sit between Felicity and Barry.

Lena looked at the crowd, seeing the groups of heroes and families. She could see Eliza, Lillian and Alura standing together. Alex, Kelly and Esme were in front of the mothers. Right behind them were Nia and Brainy, Clark and Lois, with the team leads and their wives. The rest of the people scattered.

The ceremony started and everyone looked at J'onn.

"I would like to start by saying a few words. When Kara and Lena met, we were all weary. Names and family became a spotlight, but that didn't let these two women stop from starting a friendship. Every time something came up that would end the friendship, they would fight harder to keep that bond alive. And as they became closer, the more we all saw of what they could become. And in the years that followed, we all watched that friendship grow. But like every relationship, these two had their bumps. And when we all thought it was the end. But it was really the beginning. Kara and Lena came together, and finally, we all watched as they grew stronger. And when they realized their relationship, we all watched as something beautiful grew. The second the two started their relationship we all knew we would end up here. It was only a matter of time. And I speak for everyone here, when I say that we couldn't be happier to watch the two of you take this next step," J'onn finished, causing tears to drip down Lena and Kara's faces.

J'onn then started the usual speech, something similar to what he said at Alex and Kelly's wedding. Before long, it was time for the vows.

"Before I met you, I didn't have a lot of friends. Or any actually. I tried really hard to just focus on my work, but then I met you. And you changed everything. You made me feel loved, happy. The day I was arrested, that was the day I realized that my feelings for you were more than just friendship. When everyone believed I was bad, and evil, you never lost hope. You saw the best of me, even when no else did. Even when I didn't. You have given me love, expecting nothing in return. You, Kara, are the love of my life. You are my whole world. And as long as you keep loving me, I know I will be on the right path of life. Because you always put me first. Even with my mother. I know she is here today because of you. Because you love me enough to put your difference away. And it's moments like these that I know you'll love me forever," Lena said, holding Kara's hand. The Kryptonian looked at her with pure love in her eyes. "And right now, at this moment, I am promising you forever. Promising that nothing will ever change my love for you. Nothing will stop me from giving you everything."

Kara stared back at her. "I love you. I have loved you, and it was when I thought I lost you that I realized what I felt for you was something I never felt before. There are many things in my life that would turn anyone away, but it brought us together. You are my best friend. And I was lucky enough to fall in love with my best friend. I think that's the best type of love. There is no one else I want to spend the rest of my life with. THe person I want to come home to at the end of the day. And everything we have been through together has just continued to bring us together, and I believe our love will always come out on top. That day, when Jack came back to your life, you said that he was your kryptonite, because of the love you had for him. But you aren't my kryptonite. You're my sunlight, you make me stronger, better. And as long as you are around, there is nothing I can't do. You are it for me Lena. There is no one who could make my heart sing. Marrying you, today, it's the best decision I have ever made. And I also promise that I will be by your side until the end of time. I love you Lena, now and forever."

"I love you too," Lena replied, smiling.

J'onn called for the exchange of rings, which they did. Before they knew it, they were sharing their first kiss as a married couple in front of their friends and family.

-SG-

Alex gave Lena a hug, holding her tightly. "In the eyes of the law, you are now my sister."

Lena laughed, leaning into the hug. She closed her eyes, feeling the warmth exuding the older Danvers sister.

Kelly gave Kara a hug. "Congratulations."

"Thank you," Kara said, her cheeks red. She gave Lena's hand a small squeeze.

Alex's eyes widened. She gave the newlyweds a smile, before rushing off to stop Esme from getting to the wedding cake. Kelly gave Lena a quick hug before following her own wife.

Clark walked to Kara and Lena, a small smile on his face. He gave Kara a tight hug, closing his eyes. "I am so proud of you."

Kara smiled as she leaned into her cousin's arms.

"Welcome to the club," Lois said, giving Lena a hug.

"It's going to be a ride, isn't it?"

"You have no idea. But at least Kara is now under your insurance," Lois teased, getting a glare from the blond Kryptonian. Lois laughed as she hugged her husband's cousin.

Clark opened his arms for Lena, who walked into it. "Welcome to the family. Kara is lucky to have you."

"I'm the lucky one."

After leaving them behind, Kara and Lena ended up with their mothers. Alura hugged her daughter tightly. "I never thought I would see this day."

"I never thought you'd be here to share this day with me," Kara whispered, holding her birth mother tightly.

Alura pulled away and placed her hands on Kara's cheeks. "Your father would be so proud. You are doing the House of El so proud."

Kara stared at her mother with tears in her eyes. Alura then turned to Lena, when Eliza handed her a small box.

"In Krypton, bracelets are used in place of rings. I have brought you both, to keep the Kryptonian tradition alive. I had these made with the crest of El, as well as the Luthor crest. To bind you both to each other, now and forever," Alura told them, opening the small box. Lena and Kara saw the bracelets. Lena reached for one while Kara stared at them, frozen.

Lena held the delicate item in her hand, before looking at Kara. "May I?"

Kara nodded, and watched as Lena clasped the bracelet against her wrist. Kara did the same, and they smiled at each other.

"Thank you Mother," Kara said, hugging her mother again.

"Thank you," Lena told her, giving her a hug as well.

"Welcome to the house of El, Lena, we are honored to have you," Alura said, while Kara went to hug her adoptive mother. Eliza held Kara tightly.

"I am so proud of you, my sweet girl. You have grown to a beautiful woman, and have chosen a beautiful person to share your life with."

"I am lucky to have been chosen," Kara said, grabbing Lena's hand.

Eliza hugged Lena, holding her tightly. "Welcome to the family."

"I am glad to be a part of them both," Lena said, a small smile on her face.

Lena and Kara turned to the third and final mother, unsure of what to expect.

"If you hurt my daughter, I will find all the kryptonite to destroy you," Lillian said, looking at Kara with a death glare.

Lena was about to scold her mother, when Kara laughed. "I wouldn't want anything less."

Lillian nodded. "Good." That was as best Kara was going to get, but it was enough for the both of them.

"Moms are finally married!" Nia exclaimed, hugging Kara and Lena at the same time.

Kara laughed, while Lena shook her head.

"I am happy to be able to be a part of this historical moment," Brainy said, looking at Kara.

The Kryptonian smiled back, giving the man a hug. "I am glad you were here as well."

Before long, Lena and Kara were with the team leads and their wives.

Iris was first to hug Lena. "Welcome to the Idiots' wives club."

"Hey!" Barry exclaimed, frowning.

Lena laughed, while Kara pouted.

Oliver hugged Kara, before looking at Lena.

"So Mrs. Luthor-Danvers, am I forgiven?"

Lena stared at him, before smiling. "You're forgiven Oliver." He grinned as he gave her a hug, holding her tightly.

Barry quickly wrapped his arms around Kara, laughing. "A wedding with no trouble! No one was hurt!"

"Hurray for Kara's lack of injuries," Sara said, getting cheers from everyone.

The Kryptonian glared at Sara. "Don't be mean to me," Kara said, getting laughter.

Lena walked to her wife and wrapped her arms around her. "I'll keep you safe."

Kara smiled, "And I'll keep you safe," Kara whispered back, giving Lena a quick kiss.

"Get a room!" Alex shouted, and Kara just laughed. She held Lena tightly.

When the dancing began, Kara and Lena watched all the pairs. They watched Esme dance with her mothers, M'gann and J'onn were sharing a moment as they swayed to the music. Nora (Darhk) and Ray were enjoying their time together, Ava and Sara were making out. Sam and Andrea were dancing with Nate and Cisco.

"This is a great day," Lena said, smiling softly.

Kara nodded, before grabbing Lena's hand and pulling to the dance floor, not seeing the wires on the ground. Kara was so distracted by her wife, she didn't notice it, and soon the two brides took a tumble, taking down the speakers with them. Everyone looked at them. While Kara groaned on the ground. (Thank Rao she still had her powers.) She let out a nervous laugh.

"Lena can afford to buy new ones."

-SG-

Alex and Kara were sitting on the couch a few days after the wedding. Kelly was out with Esme, and Lena was at L-Corp.

"What's next for you two?" Alex asked, grabbing a handful of popcorn.

"Probably start a family," Kara said, a dreamy smile appearing on her face.

Alex smirked. "Good thing you're not a guy who can get Lena pregnant."

Kara frowned, looking at her sister. "Why's that?"

"You'd probably break your bone trying."
