Garmadon woke with a start. The room was dark except for the smallest amount of sunlight that peeped in through the curtains. When he opened the curtains, the morning sun blinded him momentarily. Through the glare, he saw twelve ninja in the courtyard doing Sunrise Stretches. Wu was also out there, so Garmadon decided to go ask some questions.

"Garm?" Misako asked as he passed the kitchen.

Garmadon stopped and looked at her. She gasped and ran over to him.

"What happened?" Garmadon asked.

"You've been passed out for the past two days. I can't believe Mystaké did this."

Garmadon went into the bathroom to look at himself in the mirror. He couldn't believe what he saw. His skin wasn't black anymore, his hair was gray, and he only had two arms. Misako joined him and wrapped her arms around him.

"I don't know how she did this. I mean, Harumi only resurrected part of me," Garmadon said.

"Maybe it's an Oni thing."

"Maybe. I'm going to go bother Wu."

No one saw Garmadon enter the courtyard at first. He nearly laughed out loud when he saw how much the alt-ninja were struggling. Wu was about to change positions when he saw Garmadon and stopped. Everyone turned around to look.

"Who's that?" Alt-Kai asked quietly.

"Dad?" Lloyd asked.

"Hello," Garmadon said.

Lloyd ran over and hugged his dad.

"Brother!" Wu went over and patted Garmadon on the shoulder.

"Looks like we have Sensei G back," Jay said.

"Is that seriously Garmadon?" Alt-Nya asked.

"How?" Alt-Lloyd asked.

"Remember that tea Mystaké made me drink?" Garmadon said.

"No," Kai said.

"You all were already passed out. Mystaké did this?" Lloyd asked.

"Yes. Where is she? I need to thank her," Garmadon said.

"She's making Traveler's Tea, remember? She'll be gone for at least a week," Wu said.

"I see."

"Would you like to take over?" Wu moved aside so Garmadon could lead Sunrise Stretches.

"Sure."

"You're not allowed to do the corpse pose."

"Oh. Then never mind. Say, did we ever get the Time Blades back?" Garmadon asked.

"No." Wu looked at Cole, who was suddenly interested in his nails.

"Do we know where they are?"

"Yes."

"So why don't we have them?" Garmadon stood right next to Cole and leaned in.

"Hermes wouldn't let me take them," Cole said.

"Why not?"

"He really doesn't like you," Cole said.

"I know," Garmadon said.

"He's not a fan of Wu either."

"Yes, we made some mistakes in the past and he hasn't been able to find it in his heart to forgive us," Wu said.

"What did he tell you?" Garmadon asked Cole.

"Not much. He said Wu didn't stop you. What did you do to him?" Cole replied.

"It doesn't matter."

"I'll explain later," Lloyd said.

"But you're positive he has the Time Blades?"

"Yes. He showed them to me," Cole said.

"And what aren't you telling us?" Garmadon leaned even closer to Cole so his face was almost touching Cole's cheek.

"He… wants to destroy them," Cole admitted.

"Why didn't you tell us this yesterday?" Wu chastised.

"He… I don't know."

"We need to get them before he does something stupid!" Garmadon ran towards the door.

"Brother, wait! Do you honestly believe Hermes will listen to a word you say, even if you are changed?" Wu asked.

"So what do you suggest?"

Hermes wiped his brow with his sleeve. The air was starting to get unbearably hot as he climbed closer to the peak. When he stopped to drink some water he saw the Bounty fly overhead. It disappeared around the bend. He threw his bag over his shoulder and waited. Ray came around the corner.

"What are you doing here?" Hermes asked.

"They want me to talk to you," Ray said.

"I told that kid not to tell anyone!"

"Hermes, you have the Time Blades and you want to destroy them. Why would you ask him to keep that a secret?"

"So I wouldn't be stopped."

"Hermes, listen to yourself! What you're doing is incredibly dangerous, not to mention stupid."

"These things are too powerful, Ray. It would be irresponsible to keep them around where anyone can grab them."

"I agree. That's why Wu is going to lock them up."

"Like how he locked up the Golden Weapons?"

"He didn't mean for those to be hidden away forever. That's why he gave me a map," Ray said.

"And look what happened!"

"Do not blame me. I was locked up underground somewhere."

"It's not you I blame," Hermes said.

"You seriously need to get over your issues with Wu. He apologized. Why can't you forgive him?"

"Do you not remember what I said when you all came to my house in a desperate attempt to trick me into helping you? One measly apology changes nothing, and that wasn't even really an apology!"

"I know. I can't control the others, but I am sorry about how you were treated. Garmadon put the idea in everyone's heads that Chen was going to turn you against us again when we accepted you back. He said Chen probably had a code word hidden in your head and he would order you to attack us again," Ray explained.

"That's just ridiculous." Hermes marched up the mountain.

"Ridiculous or not, it's the truth," Ray said as he ran to keep up with Hermes.

"All the more reason to destroy these before they show up."

Ray sighed and followed Hermes up to the peak. The red-orange lava bubbled beneath them.

"Is there anything I can do or say to make you change your mind?" Ray asked.

"No." Hermes tossed his bag into the lava. The bag quickly burned away. The four Time Blades slowly sank beneath the surface.

"There," Hermes said.

"You shouldn't have done that," Ray said.

"Oh well. Now I don't know about you, but I'm getting out of here before I die of heatstroke."

"Sorry, Wu, I tried," Ray said to himself. He followed Hermes back down the mountain.

"I can't believe they thought you would be able to stop me."

"Would you have listened to anyone else?"

Hermes looked at Ray.

"Well?" Ray asked.

"I liked you better before you grew a spine. I blame Maya for that," Hermes said.

"Well, as you love to point out, you're the one who made me ask her out in the first place."

"I try and do something nice and this is my reward."
