Chapter 10: Revelations
A/N: Who's flirting with who?
Elliot trailed his lips down her sternum. He loved waking her up like this. He licked and sucked down her tanned belly.
"Mmmm, El-li-ot!" she exclaimed huskily, tone deep and tinted with sleep as she was slowly roused.
Elliot stared up at her face from between two strong thighs. He loved hearing his name falling from her plump lips. Her voice had changed over the years. It was deeper now and he absolutely loved it.
Elliot wrapped his forearms under her thighs, his hands coming to rest on her hips. He parted her swollen folds, inhaling her musky scent.
"Smell so good Liv," Elliot huffed against her core.
A hand came down, pushing his head toward her glistening lips. He opened his mouth, his tongue eager to taste her-
"Dad?" Oliver knocked on his father's door Friday morning.
Elliot groaned. He hadn't had a sex dream in ages. Worse yet he hadn't had a sex dream about his ex partner in quite some time as well. He scrubbed his hands over his face before sitting up in bed and covering his lap with a pillow. He didn't need his young son seeing his obvious arousal. Especially since it came from his twin brother's mother, and not the woman he was currently dating.
"Come in," Elliot called from the other side.
Oliver popped into the room, "Where's Monique?" he asked as he flopped on his dad's bed.
"She's in the bathroom I think," Elliot replied, hearing the shower running.
Oliver nodded, "So have you decided? You said you had to tell your boss today about moving all the way across the country."
"Actually I called him yesterday buddy," Elliot scratched the back of his head.
"Oh," Oliver huffed impatiently, "And?"
"And he's giving me a couple more days to think about it, but we may have to fly out there for a couple days after this vacation if I agree to take the position," Elliot explained.
Oliver scrunched his eyebrows in confusion. "So we still may move there?"
"It's a really great position Oliver, not to mention the pay check. I'd be crazy to turn it down buddy, and we'd be close to Richard and Lizzie, you could see your siblings all the time," Elliot pointed out happily.
Oliver crossed his arms, "But Noah is here. Olivia is here."
Elliot paused, "Well yeah kiddo, but you just met them, you don't even really know them."
"Whose fault is that?" Oliver accused.
"What's that suppose to mean?" Elliot didn't appreciate his son's tone or question.
"From what I've heard, you're the one that stopped talking to his best friend," Oliver shrugged, "And I don't know how someone does that."
"What do you know of why I left SVU?" Elliot asked, unsure of what Olivia may have told his son.
"I may only be 8 Dad, but I spent a week with Olivia and I like her! She's a really nice person and a great Mom. So I don't understand how you leave a person like that! I want to see Noah and Olivia!" Oliver confessed.
"You've only known them a week Oliver! That's just ridiculous," Elliot argued back.
"No it's not. He's my brother! They're my family!" Oliver cried.
"No she's not damnit!" Elliot sighed heavily, feeling bad immediately for cursing in front of his son.
"You're not being fair," Oliver yelled as he fled the room.
Elliot hung his head and sat on his deserted bed. His morning arousal had 100% disappeared. He heard a door slam and cursed under his breath. A few minutes later his bathroom door opened and Monique emerged dressed for the day.
"How much of that did you hear?" Elliot inquired wearily.
"Just the last minute or so…" Monique trailed off, sitting beside him on the bed.
"He's not wrong for wanting a relationship with Noah," she broke spoke quietly.
Elliot groaned, "It doesn't sound like he's the only one he wants a relationship with though."
Monique chuckled, "You can't really blame him for that either."
"What wanting someone kind of mother, of course not but-"
"No that's, honey I don't think it has anything to do with a mother really," Monique explained calmly.
Elliot furrowed his brows in confusion, "Then what?"
Monique sighed tiredly, "Olivia. It's Olivia he wants. And you can't really blame him. She's an amazing person, people just gravitate towards her. It didn't take your son a week to become enraptured by her…"
Elliot rubbed his hands up and down his face. He could relate, it hadn't taken him an hour to know she had irreversibly changed his life.
Monique smoothed her hand over his shoulder, "Just like his father I guess."
Elliot chanced a glance at her as she got up to look through her suitcase. She had inadvertently read his mind.
"Shouldn't you be making us breakfast?" she asked him.
"On it," Elliot replied, using the free bathroom to change his clothes and shave before heading to the kitchen.

It was pretty evident during breakfast that Oliver was angry at Elliot, so he jumped at the chance to spend some time alone with Noah, Olivia and Barba. The four of them spent the morning snowshoeing around the large property while Monique and Elliot stayed behind.
After lunch Elliot, and Barba headed off to the frozen lake with the boys in tow to do some ice fishing, leaving Olivia and Monique to fend for themselves.
The ladies got comfortable in the living area, both on their laptops. They sat spread out facing each other on the large comfy sofa.
"Thank God for WiFi and technology now a days," Monique smiled into her hot chocolate and baileys that she had just whipped up for them.
"I'll cheers to that," Olivia grinned, as she warmed up from her drink, being careful to not spill a drop on her computer.
"So, Captain, how is SVU?" Monique inquired.
"It's been, great, doesn't seem like the right word, but it is. I never thought I'd move up the ranks there, and it was weird at first, but now I love it, can't imagine ever doing anything else with my life," Olivia smiled politely.
Monique nodded, "It suits you. I thought when I worked there, if any of us would be in charge one day it'd be you Benson. You always were Cragen's favorite," Monique winked at her.
"Thank you," Olivia replied sincerely. "So what have you been up to since-"
Monique laughed, "Since I left 20 years ago? Well it's not a long story to be honest. I spent a couple years in homicide. Met an FBI agent on a case, started dating, they pulled me over to the bureau eventually, spent the next 20 years there. We married a couple years ago, but clearly that didn't last. Then I ran into Stabler at the office one day, and well that was just towards the end of February."
Olivia coughed, choking slightly on her drink. "You guys have only been together a month?"
Monique laughed and finger quoted the word 'together' when she replied, "Yes it's only been a few weeks we've been together. It's not serious or exclusive yet. What about you and Barba?"
Olivia was still stunned to learn how long Stabler and Monique had been together. She thought it had been a lot longer. "Oh uh, well we worked together for years and then got together," she paused here to laugh, "After he had left the DA's office a few years ago." Since Barba lied about being her boyfriend, they came up with a backstory, just like any undercover op.
"He seems like a great guy," Monique replied.
"He's one of my best friends," Olivia agreed nodding.
"So a couple years, you guys must be pretty serious. Do I hear wedding bells in your future?" Monique teased, rubbing Olivia's legging covered shin with her foot.
Olivia laughed, "Oh I don't think so, I'm too old for that."
"Too old for marriage?" Monique inquired curiously.
Olivia sighed, "I don't know, too old for that kind of commitment? I don't know, things are so settled with Noah it'd be weird to introduce someone fully into our lives 24/7."
"Hmmm," Monique grunted.
"What?" Olivia asked.
Monique sighed, "I probably shouldn't say anything, but I think you're going to be introducing one, if not two new guys into your life anyways Olivia."
Olivia groaned, "Oliver is more than welcome into our lives, in fact he's a gift. But his father…"
Monique sat up, coming to rest beside Olivia's hip, she swiped a stray hair behind Olivia's ear, "You two really need to have it out already. You both have way too many thoughts and feelings bottled up." She patted Olivia's hip as she stood and walked into the kitchen to refill their mugs, leaving Olivia alone with her thoughts, and slightly confused with how nice and friendly Monique was being towards her. She couldn't say she would be acting the same way if she were in Jeffries position.

Dinner was a quiet affair, Barba, Noah and Monique dominated most of the conversation. Oliver was still mad at Elliot. Elliot was still conflicted about moving to California. And Olivia was still angry at the whole situation with a Elliot.
"Can we use the jacuzzi tonight?" Oliver asked as they cleaned up from dinner.
Elliot nodded, "Sure, but not on the hot temperature. You boys can go get changed, I'll get it ready."
The boys ran from the room, happy to be going for a soak.
"Uh is that okay with you?" Elliot asked Olivia belatedly. He had been ignoring her for most of the day. Unable to look into her eyes after the dream he had about her that morning.
"Yes it's fine, isn't it why you told me to pack our suits?"
Elliot nodded, "Well then why don't we all get ready?"
Less than half an hour later Olivia found herself sitting on the edge of a very large jacuzzi, her legs dipping into the water. It wasn't super hot like most hot tubs, but definitely warm. The boys were sitting happily at some of the jets, laughing and splashing one another, Monique and Barba were both in their bathing suits, enjoying the jets as well.
Olivia was wearing a red two piece suit. The top looked like any other camisole, covering her stomach, and bikini bottoms. She had adorned it with a sheer black cover up. She was older and knew her body wasn't as tight as it use to be, she didn't feel comfortable flaunting it. What did surprise her was her very fit ex partner was still wearing a t-shirt as he too lounged on the side of the tub, not getting in yet himself. She thought he'd be the first to take off his shirt and flex his literal muscles.
The four adults were drinking more and more as the night wore on and Elliot was having a hard time keeping his eyes off of the Captain's long bronze legs. The same legs he had had his head between in his dream. He imagined walking up to her in the jacuzzi and pushing that flimsy cover up up her thighs. He could tug it down her shoulder and expose that tempting cleavage she was trying to hide. He shook his head, it was obviously the alcohol fuelling his thoughts now.
It was past 10 when Olivia finally told Noah it was bedtime. She wasn't too surprised the kids didn't put up a fight, they appeared tuckered out from their day.
As they were getting out, Oliver slipped, accidentally pushing Elliot into the jacuzzi.
"Shoot, sorry Dad!" Oliver exclaimed sincerely.
Elliot wiped his face, his white t-shirt clinging to every muscle as he pulled himself out of the tub. "It's okay buddy, you alright?"
"Yeah, here," Oliver passed him a couple towels.
Elliot took off his t-shirt, not wanting to sit in the cold in a wet shirt.
Olivia tried not to notice the water dripping down his carved washboard abs. Her son's voice broke her concentration.
"Hey that's a cool tattoo a Elliot."
Olivia looked up to see what caught her boy's attention. She knew Elliot had a couple tattoos, so she wondered which one he was looking at.
"That's my Mom's badge number!" Noah exclaimed. He was pointing at a tattoo on Elliot's chest over his heart. It was a detective's shield and sure enough the number on it was Olivia's detective shield number. "My Mom gave it to me when I was younger. I used it when we played Cops and Robbers."
Olivia was pretty sure she could've heard a pin drop as everyone went very silent. She had captured Elliot's eyes and they stared at one another. Now it made sense why he didn't take his shirt off. Surely this couldn't be something he wanted her or his new girlfriend to see.
Monique cleared her throat, "I'm going to grab another drink, can I refresh anyone else's?" she inquired, getting out of the tub and wrapping a towel around her body.
"Why don't you boys get ready for bed?" Barba spoke up, "I'm sure your parents will be in shortly to say goodnight."
The boys shrugged and said goodnight as they departed.
Elliot and Olivia finally broke eye contact, "Um," Elliot blushed stuttering, "I'm just gonna go…" he trailed off and headed into the house too.
As soon as he was out of earshot Barba turned to Olivia, "What the hell?!"
Olivia shook her head, "I don't know, I didn't, I don't know."
"It doesn't look new, did he have that when you worked together?" Barba pressed.
Olivia stammered, "I have no idea, it's not like I was familiar with his naked body."
"Too bad…I feel as your boyfriend I should be pissy about another guy having a tattoo for you," Barba thought out loud.
Olivia chuckled, "Oh gosh, let's head to bed too."
EoEoEoEoEoEoEoEoEoEoEoEoEoEoEoE
Olivia and Elliot had come in separately to say goodnight to the twins.
Olivia was just leaving the kid's room when she quite literally ran into Elliot.
"Ohhhh," she exclaimed, placing her hand against his bare chest, almost right over the revealed tattoo, and grabbing his shoulder with the other to prevent herself from crashing into him complete.
"I-sorry," they stuttered together as Olivia immediately released him. Her hands burning where they have grazed his soft skin. Olivia ducked her head and stepped around him, practically running to her room with Barba. She felt his eyes follow her, she paused for a moment by her door to see him staring at her ass through her coverup. She furrowed her brows, entering her bedroom and closing the door, not understanding her ex partner's straying eyes, he had a girlfriend or something didn't he?
EoEoEoEoEoEoEoEoEoEoEoEoEoEoEoE
The twins lay in their bunk beds, waiting for sleep when Oliver spoke up.
"Noah you still awake?"
"Mmhm," Noah replied tiredly.
"Can I ask you something?" Oliver inquired curiously.
"Course, you're my brother," Noah replied happily.
Oliver smiled staring at the ceiling before he turned over and peaked his head down at Noah.
"Do you think our parents like each other?" Ever since Oliver saw the way his Dad and Olivia looked at each other after seeing his father's tattoo, he couldn't get the question out of his mind. He never knew the numbers belonged to Olivia. He had asked his Dad what the numbers were once and he had simply replied that all detectives have a badge with a number on it.
Noah furrowed his eyebrows, "Of course they were partners for years."
"No no, I mean like, you know boy girl like each other. Like older people girlfriend boyfriend like each other?"
"Oh?" Noah had never really thought about it before, but now that Oliver had mentioned it, he could see where he was coming from.
Oliver smiled down at Noah, a mischievous grin on his face that he was slowly beginning to recognize on his twin's face. It meant he was scheming, it meant their was another plan in the work.
"Dad still hasn't given his boss an answer about California," Oliver pointed out.
"Sooo…" Noah trailed off not understanding what that had to do with anything.
Oliver grinned widely, showing his missing teeth, "So that means there's still time."
A/N: Kids can be little shits, especially twins. Sorry for the tease at the beginning but you had to know it was a dream. Happy Monday, hope everyone has a good, safe week! Happy reading.
