Fate
Chapter 11: Double Trouble
Friday Night Continued/Saturday
Olivia was laying in bed, she could hear Barba's breathing slowly decreasing, falling into a soft rhythm. They had only been in there for half an hour. The silence was interrupted by the sound of a woman moaning. Specifically Monique Jeffries moaning. Olivia smacked her hands over her ears, the sound causing Barba to jerk awake.
"Wh-what the?" Barba questioned, sitting up in the bed.
"This can't be happening," Olivia muttered.
Barba was about to ask what, when he heard Monique groaning through the wooden walls of the cabin.
"Ohhhh," he instantly understood what was bothering his bedmate.
"Ughhhhh, forget it, two can play at this game," Olivia claimed, still tipsy from all the alcohol she had consumed that day.
Barba once again was about to question her when his brows flew to his hairline in surprise.
"Oh God Rafael!" Olivia moaned loudly.
Barba sighed and scrubbed his hands over his face.
"Oh baby, right there," Olivia groaned, sitting up on her knees and pushing the headboard against the wall they shared with Elliot's bedroom.
Barba blushed, "Liv you can't be serious?"
"Yell my name," Olivia whispered.
"What?" Barba questioned.
He jumped and exclaimed, "Olivia!" as she pinched his arm, successfully getting him to shout her name.
Barba rolled his eyes as they kept up their efforts for a few minutes.
"Alright, I'm gonna end this," Olivia declared.
"It's only been a few minutes," Barba stated, furrowing his brows.
"So?" Olivia questioned.
"So, I have a reputation to uphold," Barba whispered back before calling out, "Oh fuck, Benson!"
Olivia smiled widely as Barba got into their act. "So good, so big."
Barba blushed, he couldn't look his friend in the eye as she said these things. "So tight baby," he replied loudly.
Olivia chuckled quietly. Together they kept up their performance for another five minutes. They called out each other's name as they 'climaxed'.
They flopped back down on their bed. They hadn't heard any more noise from Elliot's room since they started their little charade.
"Think you can sleep now?" Barba asked Olivia. Both were breathing heavier than normal.
Olivia smiled, and looked at him, "Virtual sex with you was very fulfilling. I'm truly sated."
Barba chuckled, "Goodnight Benson," he wasn't going to touch that response with a 10 foot pole. He was just happy to help Olivia achieve some small victory.

Barba yawned as he closed the door to their bedroom as quietly as possible, Liv was still sleeping when he got dressed and ready for the day.
He was walking towards the kitchen when a door to his side was cracked open and 2 hands pulled him inside.
"What the?" Barba grumbled as he was pushed to sit on a bottom bunk bed across from two smiling brown haired twins.
"Uncle Barba," Noah nodded, "Mr. Barba, thank you for joining us," Oliver smiled.
Barba rubbed his hand over his face, "Oh boy, what's going on guys?"
"So glad you asked," Oliver grinned widely.
It didn't take Barba long to figure out that Oliver was definitely the more mischievous twin. He figured growing up with siblings in and out of his life, they probably taught him a few things.
Barba sat quietly and listened to their proposal for the day.
Sighing heavily he addressed the twins, "And why would I do this?"
Oliver smirked, "Well we could always just tell my Dad the truth of who you really are…"
Noah jumped up from the bed, "There's no need to jump to that, right Uncle Barba, you're gonna help us because it's the right thing to do."
Barba dropped his head into his hands, "You do know your Mother will kill me, and thanks for not blackmailing me Noah," he groused.
"If things turn out well, she'll be thanking you for the rest of our lives," Noah explained.
"Ughhhhh, fine, let's do it," Barba agreed, not knowing quite how this day would play out. "You boys make sure you pack everything you may need okay?"

Breakfast was a pretty quiet affair, Monique seemed to be recovering from a hangover, not a night of passion, and neither Olivia nor Elliot were talking to each other after the events of the previous night.
Oliver used the silence to put his plan into motion, "Hey Dad can we go into town today to that arcade? You promised we would go."
"Oh, uh, I forgot, I have some stuff I have to get done around the cabin today though, I promised the owner I'd chop some wood for the next renter and that I'd plug the ice fishing hole," Elliot listed a couple of the jobs he had to accomplish that day.
"Mom can you take us?" Noah asked, already knowing the answer.
"Noah sweetheart I can't, I have to get this report sent back to Chief Garland this morning," Olivia sighed, unhappy she couldn't spend all her time with the boys.
"I can take them," Barba interjected.
Olivia and Elliot had the same surprised reaction.
"Really?" Olivia knew Barba wasn't the most experienced with children.
"Yes of course, I've handled the worst criminals in New York City, I think I can manage a few hours at an arcade, plus there was that antique store we passed that I wanted to check out," Barba explained, waving his hand dismissively.
Olivia glanced at Elliot, "It's fine with me, as I said I have a report to finish."
"Thanks Mom!" Noah said as he hugged her.
Olivia smiled down at her son, "Now you two be good, take it easy on Rafael."
Oliver rolled his eyes playfully, "We will Mom-uh I mean Liv."
You could hear a pin drop as everyone went silent.
Elliot shook his head and then nodded at Barba, trying to push past the awkwardness of the misslip, "Uh thanks. Actually that reminds me of another errand I was going to run today. Would you mind stopping to refill some gas containers? I underestimated how much gas the generator would take, so I emptied my car to fill it. I was gonna ask to siphon some from your SUV so that I could go into town to fill the containers but if you guys are going that way?"
"Absolutely," Barba nodded, "No problem."
"Great, thanks," Elliot muttered.

Everyone dispersed after they finished eating. Barba and the boys got ready to leave, Olivia had set up camp in her bedroom, hiding from Elliot and Monique. Elliot had taken off outside after leaving the gas containers by Barba's SUV.
As the guys got ready to leave Barba found Jeffries in the kitchen cleaning up.
"Hey you almost done in here?" Barba inquired.
Monique chuckled, "Yeah until lunch and the prep and cleanup start all over again."
"Hmmm, why don't you come with us? It's gotta be better than lounging around here all day," Barba proposed.
"You sure? I wouldn't be intruding?" Monique bit her bottom lip, not wanting to spend all day cooped up with a pouting Elliot and moody Benson. She had been quite sick the previous night, moaning and groaning into the toilet as she emptied her stomach of the alcohol she has drank that day, when they had suddenly heard Olivia and Barba. There was no mistaking what they were doing. Elliot had been holding her hair as she grunted, but his mood changed after they heard the first moan out of Olivia's mouth. She swore his anger grew every time their damn headboard banged against their shared wall. She wasn't sure when or if Elliot ever slept last last night but she conked out shortly after Olivia and Barba 'finished.'
"Absolutely! The more the merrier! I'll meet you out at my car," Barba smiled as part two of the boy's plan fell into place.
"Great give me 10 minutes," Monique called as she headed to her room to get ready to leave.
Barba walked outside and keeping an eye out for Elliot who was currently on the lake, he made his way over to the generator that powered the large log cabin. Spotting two small heads of brown hair, he sighed heavily as he watched Oliver empty almost all of the remaining gas left in the generator.
Barba rubbed his hands together in an effort to stay warm, "Your mom's going to kill me…" he mumbled quietly, teeth already chattering in the cold.
Noah smiled, "We're doing it for the right reasons."
Barba nodded, hopping slightly on the spot, "Come on hurry up before Jeffries comes out…"
Oliver looked up at him, "You got her to come?"
Barba shrugged, "It actually wasn't hard to convince her, I don't think she relished being stuck here with your warring parents."
"All done, let's go!" Oliver cheered, high fiving Noah.
"How'd you know how to do that?" Barba asked as he loaded the twins and the containers into his car.
"It's the first thing my Dad showed me when we got here. In case of emergency or something," Oliver shrugged from the backseat.
Barba ate his response as Monique climbed into the passenger seat. "Alright, everybody ready then?"

Olivia stretched her arms in front of her as she cracked her knuckles, it was almost lunch time and she was getting hungry. She smiled happily at the work she had accomplished, sure she'd be able to spend every minute of the rest of her vacation with her son and Oliver. Him calling her 'Mom' at breakfast had her confused. She assumed he heard Noah say it so often that it probably just slipped out. Or so she hoped. Not that she wouldn't be honored to be a mother to that boy, but that would involve a whole lot of Elliot, something she wasn't currently prepared for.
She made her way to the kitchen, and pulled open the fridge as her phone chimed in the back pocket of her skinny jeans.
Closing the fridge she pulled her phone out, seeing a message from Barba.
Her smile slowly turned into a frown as she read her phone.
'Meant to leave a note, grabbing some lunch now, Monique decided to join us, see you two later ;)'
Olivia groaned, oh she was gonna kill him for this! Maybe she could just grab something quick and then hide in her room for the rest of the day. She had a sneaking suspicion he planned this in some way.
Olivia opened the fridge again as she heard a noise from behind her.
Of course luck wasn't on her side as Elliot entered from the back deck. He too was holding his phone, with a perplexed expression on his face.
Elliot looked up as he heard the fridge door close. Surprised to find himself alone with his ex partner, and not just in the kitchen, but alone in the whole cabin, he had just read a text from Monique saying she had gone with Barba. They had both already accomplished what they needed to get done, the things that had kept them at the cabin to begin with.
Olivia estimated that the other four would be back soon. Little did either know that their time alone was just beginning, as they stared at each other from across the room.
A/N: What have those twins done… and what will they do to give Elliot and Olivia more alone time?
Thank you for the reviews. Hope everybody is staying safe through Henri!
