"Urgh… If there's 1 good thing about this, it's that I won't need to spend too much on booze to get drunk…"
God my head hurts. At least Kazuma's here, but I should get this checked out by Aqua. Now just to-
"No, and that's final. This should teach you not to drink anymore. And here I thought that Kazuma was pressuring you into drinking!"
"So you're just gonna leave me like this?!"
"Don't get drunk anymore!"
"You just want all the booze to yourself!"

The 2 of us looked at the door to find a tired-looking Kazuma.
"Could you 2 keep it down? I would tolerate being called a lolicon again, but not at this time, ok?"
I should probably go eat now. Then again, I really don't wanna cook right now. Then again, I've got a perfectly good, albeit slightly tired cook right in front of me!
"Kazuma?"
"Yes, I'm-"
Ha! Even those with the most stout of hearts cannot possibly resist the charm of a crimson demon!
"Can you please make some breakfast? I'm not feeling too well right now."
He's giving me the stink eye? How come?
"You know, I was going to do it anyway, but if you're gonna try to manipulate me like that…"

"Fine. Don't expect this treatment every time, though."

Ooooh… My head is spinning… It feels like the room's twisting and turning. I feel like I could throw up at any moment. I'm hungry, but I feel like if I eat anything, It'll come right back up.
"Hey Megumin? Aqua? Food's ready!"
"Coming!"
"Megumin? If you don't come down, I might just eat your share!"
I'm hungry with no appetite right now.
"Megumin!"
"Yep! Coming…"
After slowly trudging my way down, I began eating. You know, this doesn't taste half bad.
"Huh. I wasn't expecting to be able to enjoy food like this."
"Well, I do have a nearly maxed out cooking skill."
"Really?"
"Yeah. I had some spare points after power levelling."
"I guess I should be enjoying this more, then. By the way, what time is it?"
"Roughly 1 pm."
"Huh?! I was out for that long?"
"Yep. Welcome to the club-"
"No! I refuse to become a shut in NEET like you and Aqua!"
"Hey, I'm not a NEET, I'm a goddess!"
"I go on adventurers all the time with you guys! And I was never a shut in! Besides, you wouldn't let me go until a couple of minutes before you woke up."
"O-oh. Hang on, y-you wouldn't have gotten up earlier anyways!"

"I might let you, but only the lightest beer I can find! No drinking without my permission."

I mean, I can't really argue with him.
"So, Megumin? Are you still up to learning how to cook today?"
"Eh, I think I am. Why don't we do it at dinner time? I wanted to get under the kotatsu with you for a bit first."
"Alright."
"Hey guys? I'm literally right here!"
"And? You've said nothing, which is strange for you."
"Shut up, Kazuma! I'm gonna go to the adventurer's guild to see if there's any undead for me to purify. See you guys later, and no dirty stuff!"
"As if you have the authority for that!"
"Bye, Kazuma!"
Aqua headed out the door. Me and Kazuma just looked at each other for a few moments before heading under the kotatsu.
"Sometimes I forget how cozy it is here. I keep telling you, the kotatsu has an enchantment on it that prevents you from leaving after less than an hour of being in it."
"It's even better with Kazuma~"
He must be so flustered right now! I'm just rubbing myself against him. Of course, I'm not gonna take it much further.
"U-uh, yeah! I am pretty- what was that?"
The doorbell?
"Hey Dar-assistant?"
"Hi boss! I came by to hang out with you guys! It took a while to convince Claire and Rain, but I did it in the end! Where's onii-chan?"
"I'm here."
There he is again, sticking his head out from under the kotatsu.
"So both of you, you want to go out for a kill quest?"
I would, but…
"I'm feeling a bit under the weather, actually, so Kazuma was actually taking care of me."
"She's hungover."
"Kazuma!"
"Ah, I see, Though, didn't you only have one shot of-"
"Please don't remind me!"
"Anyways, that thing looks fun! What is it?"
"It's a kotatsu, and it's possibly the greatest invention I've ever made. You can use the top as a table and the bottom as a heated bed."
"Neat! Can I join boss and onii-chan under there?"
"I'm not so-"
"Sure! How could onii-chan refuse?"

"Come on, Megumin! It's nice and comfy down here!"
"Yep."
I slowly slid between Kazuma and Iris and snuggled up to Kazuma once again.
"You're right, onii-chan, it is comfy down here!"
"Onii-chan is never wrong! Megumin, a-are you enjoying yourself? Maybe i-it's not the smartest thing to do this in front of Iris."
"So I can't hug my boyfriend in front of my assistant?"
"M-maybe not when she's a child?"
"I don't mind! I've heard onii-chan do much weirder things such as bathing with Lalatina-sama twice or-"
"You did what?!"
"H-hey! That was a long time ago! And I was being mind controlled by a succubus! Remember when we chased that succubus out? And I prevented Aqua from purifying it?"
"O-oh. Ok. Then- Hang on, did you say twice?!"
Iris smiled and nodded.
"H-hey, this was when we swapped bodies, and Darkness and Claire pressured me into it! It's not like I could've refused. Plus, I could've done a lot worse to Iris when I did that! How much will it take to convince you that I'm not a lolicon?!"
I've got my eye on you, Kazuma. Let's see how you react to this.

"Mmph- Megumin! Not in front of Iris…"
"You liked my kiss though, right?"
"Y-yeah, but we shouldn't do that with her…"
Iris merely giggled.
"I think that the 2 of you are perfect with each other. Good luck in the future!"
I guess it's my turn to blush now, not that Kazuma ever stopped.
