Josh and Kiara smiled as the two of them saw many different Legendary Pokémon.
I choose you
Josh and Kiara were standing in a grassy field looking up at the sky.
It's a beautiful day here at Mike's Lab. Most of Josh and Kiara's Pokemon were enjoying the sun's ray. Josh was having Scorbunny, Chewtle and Yamper spar with Rookidee and Nickit. They have been doing some sparring for an hour. Josh had his three other Pokemon, Garchomp, Hydreigon and Charizard, to give out some pointers when facing a stronger opponent during their break.
"Scorbunny, use Ember on Nickit!" Josh ordered.
"Bunny!" Scorbunny shouted, kicking a blazing pebble towards Nickit.
"Nickit, dodge the attack by using Quick Attack!"
Nickit dodges the attack and quickly charges at Scorbunny, leaving a trail of white light.
"Here it comes, Chewtle!" Josh shouted. "Use Bite!"
Chewtle bites on Nickit's tail. Rookidee flew towards Nickit but Yamper appears in front of Rookidee and used Nuzzle. The Tiny Bird Pokémon yelps in pain.
"Alright you guys, good job." Josh said to them. "We'll continue trainer later on this afternoon." His Pokémon agreed and went to play with the other Pokémon. He looks over at Charizard. "Time for your training as well, Charizard."
Josh and Charizard heads over to the beach where Kiara was doing some training with Sobble, Chewtle, Nickit, Zigzagoon, Rookidee, and Blipbug as Gardevoir, Lucario and Gallade were watching them. Josh and Charizard stood several feet away from each other. Charizard flew at Josh with Dragon Claw. Josh quickly transforms into his black wolf form and dodge the attack.
"Hmph!" Josh shouted, ducking Charizard's tail. It was Josh's turn to attack. He threw in some quick punches, making Charizard to block his attacks.
As the two of them were training, Sobble and other Pokémon notices Josh and Charizard training. He ran a couple steps but Kiara stops him.
"It's okay." Kiara assured Sobble. Kiara and her Pokémon watches their training.
Josh's claws were covered in dark energy and slashes Charizard. Next, his leg was covered in water. Charizard flew back and dodges his kick. This gave Charizard to attack with Inferno.
"Gr!" Josh grunted as he was hit by the flame.
He quickly crosses his arms and a brown shield appeared and blocks another Inferno. Josh responded by quickly spreading out his black wings and flew to the air. He looks down and notices Charizard flying after him with Dragon Claw. Josh stops flying and opens his mouth, releasing red-orange flames to Charizard and Charizard took the attack head on using Flare Blitz.
The two attacks caused an explosion in the sky. The smoke disappeared.
"Groar!" Charizard roars powerfully.
"Heh." Josh chuckled. His body began to glow in a rainbow colored cocoon. The cocoon shattered, revealing Josh back into his human. The other half of his hair is white as his body was covered in black-and white flames. He quickly dodges a Flamethrower from Garchomp and Talonflame. But Josh was hit by Absol's Thunderbolt and Dragonite's Dragon Rush.
As Kiara and the Pokémon watches with interest, John walks up to them with Emma and Lucia.
"Hey Kiara." John said.
"Hi John." Kiara smiled as she turns head to look at him.
"Is that Josh up there?" John asks, looking up at the sky.
"Yes." Kiara answered.
"Why is the other half of his hair white?" John asks with a confused look. "And is his eye white as well?"
A white wing and black wing sprouts from Josh's back.
"What you're looking at is Josh's Spirit Accent Forme." Kiara answered.
"Amazing." John said with amazement. "So how did Charizard and Josh meet?"
"And how did they became strong?" Lucia added.
Kiara looks at them. "Josh and Charizard met each other in the Kalos Region when Charizard was just a Charmander." Kiara begins to explain. "Josh began his journey in the Kalos Region with Kameo. They received news there is a Pokémon League with its own Elite Four and Champion. Plus there were many Pokémon they never seen before."
"Who gave them the news?" John asked.
"Alexa." Kiara answered. "She met Josh and our other friends after traveling in the Unova Region. Alexa has a younger sister who's a Gym Leader in the Kalos Region."
"Interesting." John said.
"Alexa brought Josh and Kameo to the Kalos Region." Kiara continues to explain. "They met Charmander when fighting against Team Atom in Luminose City. When Josh was almost defeated, Charmander rushes to his rescue and saved him. Professor Sycamore allowed Josh and Kameo to take Charmander, Fenniken, Squirtle and Froakie after the battle with Team Atom. Professor Sycamore also explains that he was researching Mega Evolution and Charmander can Mega Evolve when it evolves into Charizard."
"Then what happened?"
"Josh and Kameo traveled in Kalos." Kiara continues to explain. "They caught many Pokémon and made new friends. After receiving their second badge, Josh and Kameo traveled to Shalour City where they met Korrina and her grandfather Gurkin. Korrina challenged Josh to a battle to begin 100 battles so she can have Lucario Mega Evolved. The battle was quickly over and Korrina's Lucario lost to Josh's Reiki. Korrina had to restart her 100 battles."
"Reiki?" John asked confused.
Kiara nodded her head. "When the battle was over, Gurkin had Josh and Kameo to head at Geosenge Town where he heard there was four Mega Stones that was being guarded by a strong Pokémon. The two trainers arrived in Geosenge Town. They discovered that the strong Pokémon is a Lucario. The battle began. It was proving hard for Josh and Kameo."
"So what did they do?" Emma asked.
"Josh and Kameo had Charmeleon, Braixen, Wartortle, Reiki, Fletchinder, Combuskin, Tyrunt and Amaura to team up against the strong Lucario. The Aura Pokémon was defeated by them and their teamwork. They received the four Mega Stones and returned to Shalour City and were surprised that Gurkin was testing them. Gurkin gave Josh and Kameo each a Key Stone and let them have the four Mega Stones."
"What were the four Mega Stones?" Lucia asks her.
"Charizardite X, two Lucarionite and Blastoisenite." Kiara answered. "Mega Evoultion can only be achieved by if there is a strong bond between Trainer and Pokémon. Since Reiki is already a Lucario, Josh gave her the Lucarionite and he gave the other Mega Stone to Charmeleon to hold when she evolves. Josh and Kameo had a battle to test The Aura Pokémon's Mega Evolution Powers. But Reiki began to lose control of her power, forcing Josh to end the battle himself. Gurkin thought it would be best to send Josh to Pomace Mountain but Josh suggested that he'll train Reiki to control her Aura when she Mega Evolves."
"Nice." John said.
"So Josh and Reiki began their training as they continued their journey." Kiara continued. "During their travels, Josh and Kameo cam across Team Atom multiple times. They discovered Team Atom stealing Pokémon from trainers that was being led by Blaze. A fierce battle began between the two former friends. Josh and Blaze were evenly match as their Pokémon fought one another until Blaze got the upper hand from Sir Ricky's help. Before Blaze can deliver the final blow, Reiki Mega Evolved and saved Josh, allowing him to transform in his Spirt Accent Forme. The two trainers continued their journey in Kalos."
"Sweet." Lucia said.
"Josh and Kameo continue to capture and train until they have all eight badges. The two trainers registered for the Lumiose Conference and battled. Josh won the finals and earned the right to the Champion League. Josh and his team defeated the Elite Four and the Champion Diantha. After winning the battle, Josh has refused to be champion and let Diantha keep the title. After the Champion League, Josh, Charizard, Reiki and Kameo were approached by Lysandre."
"I heard of Lysandre." John said. "He owns Lysandre Labs that created the Holo Casters."
"How did Lysandre contacted Josh and Kameo?" John asked.
"Lysandre contacted them both via Holo Caster." Kiara answered. "He enlisted their help to find Mega Evolution Energy with Alain before Team Atom can find the energy. Lysandre was having Alain to find trainers who have Mega Stones. The three of them fought Team Atom over two Garchompnite since Team Atom have two Mega Pokémon. From there, Josh and Kameo learned that Team Atom is using the Mega Evolution Energy to take control of Xerneas, Yveltal and Zygarde's abilities. Before confronting Team Atom, Josh and Kameo went to Team Atom's secret base while Alain, Claude, Joe, Sarah, and Chris fought the grunts and Sir Ricky."
"So what happened then?" Emma asked.
"Josh and Kameo confronted Blaze." Kiara continued. "The battle was hard and fierce. They manage to defeat Blaze and rescued Xerneas, Yveltal and Zygarde. After the Legendary Pokémon joined the team and Team Atom defeated, Josh and Kameo continued their journey when they reached the Lumiose Conference. At the conference, Josh, Charizard and Kameo fought through the rounds and made it to the Finals. Josh won the championship, earning him the right to enter the Kalos Champion League."
John nodded his head.
"Josh faced each member of the Elite Four and won to earn the right face the champion Diantha." Kiara continued. "Diantha lost to Josh, making him the new Champion of Kalos. But he allowed Diantha to remain champion due to continue traveling around the world and stop Team Atom. After the championship, Josh Charizard and Kameo came across Diance who was trying to escape from an evil group, but Diancie was saved by a master thief called Ben. They learned that the master thief wanted to see if Diance's powers are true. Ben was also looking for a group called The Fiendish Five."
"The Fiendish Five." John said.
"I remember reading that in the newspaper." Lucia said. "The Fiendish Five is a notorious group that has been avoiding the law somehow for ten years."
"Pretty long time if you ask me." Emma replied. "So what happened then?"
"Ben tells them that The Fiendish Five was looking for the other two Mythical Pokémon called Hoopa and Volcanion." Kiara said. "Hoopa is said to have power that can bend dimensions that can seize anything in the world. So Josh, Kameo, and Charizard joined Ben to find Diance first before they did. Three of the members from the Fiendish Five got arrested and Diance shows off her powers before it joined Josh on his team."
"Did they went after the last two members?" Emma asked.
"Yes." Kiara answered. "They found the leader, Bob, has already found Hoopa in the desert. Josh, Charizard and Ben fought against Bob to save Hoopa. Hoopa transforms into its true form and defeated Bob. After saving Diance and Hoopa while Bob got arrested, Josh Kameo and Charizard went to the mountains to train Diance and Hoopa. While during their training, they all met Volcanion."
"Interesting." John said.
"What happened then?" Lucia asks her.
"Volcanion didn't trust them at first." Kiara answered. "It challenge them to a battle to leave the mountains. But then a Pokémon Hunter named Dave found and captured them except Reiki and Greninja. Dave wanted to sell Volcanion and give it to the highest bidder. Josh, Charizard, Kameo and Volcainion worked together to escape. But Dave got them into a corner until Reiki and Greninja arrived with help from Halucha and Aurorus and escaped."
"So how come Volcanion didn't trust them?" John asked.
"Volcanion didn't trust humans because a dear friend of Volcanion died centuries ago to save Volcanion." Kiara explains. "But Dave found them and captured Josh, Charizard and Reiki, letting their friends to escape. Kameo convinces the Steam Pokémon to save the three of them as its dear friend did. Volcanion and the others went off to rescue them. They found them near the top of the volcano. Kameo and her Pokémon frees their friends while Volcanion battle Salamance, Steelix, Tyranitar and Aggron. Then the volcano erupted after Dave and his Pokémon were defeated. Volcanion was seriously injured and couldn't move."
"But hang on." John said. "I watched the Alola League back home and saw Josh used Volcanion. How is Volcanion still here?"
"Josh saved Volcanion by sending the lava back inside the volcano." Kiara answered.
"How did he do that?" Lucia wondered.
"His Spirit Ascent Forme." Kiara answered. "After Officer Jenny arrested Dave, Volcanion thanks them and began to trust them. The Steam Pokémon also joined them right after. While traveling around Kalos, Josh trained his team to learn how to fight better, no matter how strong their opponents are as he fought."
"But how did Josh acquired that kind of power?" John asked.
Kiara looks up at Josh as he quickly dodge Charizard's Dragon Claw. She watches her friend to catch Dragonite's Thunderbolt, giving Garchomp to shoot a close range Flamethrower to force Josh to land to the ground. He was able to dodge Talonflame's Flame Charge and. Josh's hands were covered in yellow electricity and collided his fists in Samurott's Razor Shell.
"Sol!" Absol yells as he shoots an Ice Beam at Josh.
Samurott jumps back as Josh got frozen. He watches his trainer breaks free from the ice.
"That's a story to tell at another time." Kiara smiled.
"Ok." Josh said as he talk to the Pokémon. "All of you are getting stronger everyday."
"That's because you've trained them well." Kiara said as they walked up to them.
"Thanks." Josh said.
"So Josh, Emma, Lucia and I were just listening to Kiara about your journey in Kalos." John said.
"Nice." Josh said.
"I was wondering what did you do after traveling in Kalos." John wondered.
"After traveling in Kalos, Kameo, Charizard and I went to the Hoenn Region to compete in the Pokémon League." Josh said. "I picked Treeko and Kameo picked Mudkip. We traveled and train in Hoenn while learning there are several more Pokémon who are capable of Mega Evolution. But there was something else that we both came across."
"Primal Reversion." Kiara said.
"Primal Reversion?" Lucia repeated.
"What's that?" John asked.
"Primal Reversion is an ancient transformation." Josh answered. "It's when a Pokémon takes back its true form and its original powers. That's something I read from the books."
"So can a Pokémon, like Charizard for example, do Primal Reversion?" Lucia asked.
"No." Kiara replied.
"There are two Pokémon that can only do Primal Reversion." Josh explains. "Groudon and Kyogre."
"These two super ancient Pokémon clashed before in the prehistoric era." Kiara said.
"But there's a legend." Josh said.
"Primal Groudon expanded the land and Primal Kyogre expanded the sea." Kiara said. "The two Pokémon fought in a fierce struggle to obtain an enormous source of energy. That struggle shook the land and the skies, nearly destroying the world in the process."
"Whoa!" Emma gasps in shocked.
"After Kameo and I learnt about Primal Reversion, I contacted Steven and sent the book so he can look at it to learn about Primal Reversion." Josh said.
"They also came across of several Latias and Latios." Kiara explains. "The Eon Pokémon needed help fighting against Bentley Smith, an admin of Team Atom. He was going to use the Soul Dew to power himself completely, but Charizard destroyed him."
"Latias and Latios joined our team after the battle." Josh said. "Kameo and I collected all the Gym Badge and headed towards the Ever Grande Conference."
"Josh and Kameo fought their to the finals and Josh won with Charizard." Kiara smiled, looking at him.
"I was given the right to challenge the Elite Four and Champion." Josh said. "I defeated the Elite Four and Steven."
"But Josh allowed Steven to remain Champion because Josh is still traveling the whole world." Kiara explains. "After the Champion League was over, Ben contacted Josh, saying that he found Team Atom with three Groudon and three Kyogre in their Primal Forms with the help of two Hoopa, Dianace and Volcanion. They were located up farther north of the Hoenn Region."
"The battle was tough and intense." Josh said. "Charizard and Sceptile was doing their best against Primal Kyogre while Kameo and her Pokémon was fighting against Primal Groudon."
"Josh and Kameo had to send out all their Pokémon to fight them." Kiara said. "But before the Primal Pokémon can finish them off, Princess Light came with reinforcements and three Mega Rayquaza appeared after Princess Light came. The three Mega Pokémon battle against the Primal Pokémon while Claude and Joe was saving Hoopa, Diance and Volcanion."
"After Charizard, Sceptile and Mega Rayquaza combine their last attack, I use a Luxury Ball to capture Groudon and a Master Ball to capture Kyogre while Kiara captured the second Groudon and Kyogre." Josh said.
"But what happened to Kameo and the third Primal Pokémon?" John asked.
"She caught them too as the three of us captured Rayquaza too when one of our friends, Slade, detected three portals." Josh answered. "Three Pokemon appeared. These three Pokemon are called Deoxys."
"They challenge the three of us to a two-on-one battle." Kiara explains. "Josh and Mega Rayquaza had their battle with Deoxys in space while Kameo and I battled the other two Deoxys. The three of us battle and captured the three Deoxys. But Josh discovered a massive bomb that would destroy the planet. Kameo and Deoxys went to space and destroyed the bomb. But after the bomb was destroyed, she disappeared with Deoxys."
"Kiara and I have been searching for her too besides Reiki and several others." Josh said to them. He looks at Charziard. "Charizard and I have been through a lot."
"Including all of us too, Josh." Kiara added.
"That's amazing." John smiled.
"I know." Josh nodded as he turns around and looks over to the ocean. "I only hope that Kameo is safe."
"But why did Reiki left?" John wondered.
"I wish I knew." Josh said.
Somewhere in the Galar Region, several wild Pokemon were running through the woods. Several Houndoom caught up to them as a Corviknght flew in and landed, blocking their escape. The Bunnelby turns around to see a Kommo-o stepping out from the darkness in the light of the moon. There was also Team Delta Grunts surrounding them too. A trainer stood next to the Scaly Pokémon. The trainer raised a hand and the grunts begins to capture all the wild Pokémon.
The trainer was wearing a dark visor with the symbol of a dark dragon. The visor went off and the trainer answered.
"Good work capturing those wild Pokémon." Blaze said.
"Thank you." the trainer said.
"Now, head over to the Hammerlocke Stadium." Blaze said. "Oleana will require your assistance to see if the Energy Plant needs more "repairs".
"Understood." the trainer said. Kommo-o and his trainer walks back into the darkness.
What is Team Delta planning now and who is this mysterious trainer?
