Josh, Kiara, Charizard and Gardevoir was standing in the field, looking up at the sky as they feel a gentle breeze.

A pink orb was floating above Josh and Kiara's heads. The orb disappeared, revealing Mew.

Josh and Kiara looks at each other and nodded before throwing a Poké Ball.

Mike, Rose and Emma stood watch as Josh, Kiara, Charizard, Gardevoir and Lucario were meditating as Scorbunny, Sobble and Grookey played together.

Scorbunny was training with Josh as Sobble, Kiara and Gardevoir was surprised by Grookey's rythm.
Greeting someone new is always fresh
Josh, Kiara and their Pokémon was facing off Blaze and Sir Ricky as Reiki stood on a cliff, battling against a Turnonator.
No need (No need!) to hesistate! Try! (Try!) Let's have a fight!
Charizard flew towards Tyranitar with her Dragon Claw as Scorbunny used Ember on Beedrill while Sobble used Water Gun on Onix.

Charizard smiled while Scorbunny was trying to cheer up Sobble.

Josh and Kiara were surrounded by their Pokémon, Mike, Emma and Lucia.

The three starter Pokemon of Galar were on the ground after they tripped. They all ran to their new friends.

Josh and Kiara smiled as the two of them saw many different Legendary Pokémon.
I choose you
Josh and Kiara were standing in a grassy field looking up at the sky.
It's a beautiful day in Vermillion City. Josh, Kiara, Mike, John, Lucia and Emma were looking at Professor Cerise on the holo screen. Ruby came in with two mugs of coffee. She hands a mug to the professor and went to her desk. Ruby looks over at them.
"You're all going to an important meeting, Professor?" Josh asks him.
"Yes." Proffessor Cerise answered. "We won't come back until tomorrow night and I was wondering if you can watch the lab."
"We don't mind." Kiara smiled. "We'll watch the lab until you come back tomorrow night."
"Great." he smiled.
The screen turned off.
"Looks like you'll be lab sitting." Mike smiled.
Everyone left the lab and headed to the professor's lab. As they arrived at the lab, Cerise was standing in the front door with Yamper. Yamper started barking at them, causing Sobble to turn invisible. Scorbunny walks over to Yamper and waved at it.
"Scorbunny." He greeted Yamper.
"Yamper." It smiled.
Cerise walks up to them. "Take care of the lab while I'm gone." He said.
"We will." Josh said to him.
They all watch the professor and Yamper walks away and entered the lab. Lucia and John went to the back outside with Scorbunny and Sobble as Kiara, Emma, Gardevoir and Gallade were in the kitchen as Josh was sitting on the couch with Lucario and his laptop on the table. He was going through some files he retrieved. All files was him and his friends, including Team Delta after the Ferrum incident. He linked his laptop to the professor's computer and several video screens appeared.
Reiki, himself and Charizard was on the video screen training and the other video screens showed his friends too.
"What's all this?" Emma asks Josh as she walks up besides him.
"These are all files." Josh answered. "Files I retrieved when I came here to this world and met up with others from our world."
"Interesting." Emma said.
"So what do you need?" Josh asks her.
"Kiara wanted to let you know it's lunch time." Emma said.
"I'll be there in a few minutes." Josh said to her and she left the room. He walks over to the laptop and pulls up several pictures of Reiki. Josh has trained her well during their travels. When Reiki didn't have anyone else to train with, Josh trained with her without Charizard or the other Pokémon. He even let her use physical attacks and special attacks and he could take it. Every Pokémon that Josh and his friends caught were amazed, surprised and shocked.
Josh has told them that and his friends are not from from this universe. They're from a whole new ultimate universe. With Team Atom here, Josh didn't want this world to be destroyed like the other worlds that he saw. So Josh became a Pokémon Trainer. During his travels, Josh has met up with his friends through every region while fighting Team Atom.
He leaves his Pokémon behind each region to have a fresh new start, except he decided to bring Charizard and Reiki to Hoenn after Kalos. Josh has also saved the Legendary Pokémon he encountered with Mythical Pokémon while other Legendries battle him. And since they're powerful, Josh has let them stayed in their regions and will summon them if needed.
Josh pulls up a document from his file. It was a document of Reiki with information. He trained her well from someone he knew. Someone who was killed by Blaze. Josh never forgave Blaze for what he did. He'll never forget it.
"Hm." Josh said as he read the file.
"Come on Josh." Lucario said to him. "Let's get some lunch." Josh nodded his head as got up and left the room. As Lucario was about to leave the room, Josh's laptop closed on its own, causing the Aura Pokémon to turn around and look at it. "Hm?" Lucario wondered, walking up to the laptop. He looks around the room. No one was in the room but himself. Lucario opens the laptop and left the room.
They had a great afternoon right after lunch. Josh was back in the research room, looking through Reiki's file with Kiara. John, Lucia and Emma were out in Cerise Park with the Pokémon. As they were minding their own business, the lights went out.
"What the hell?" Josh wondered, looking up at the ceiling. "Is there a power outage?"
"I'll head downstairs to get the power back on." Kiara said. She stood up and walks out of the room.
Outside, John saw the power went out. "What's going on?" John wondered.
"John, what happened?" Emma asked, looking at him.
"I just saw the lights went out." John answered. "I think we blew a fuse."
"Let's help out." Lucia said.
All three of them, including, Scorbunny, Sobble, Nickit, Yamper and Lucario rushes inside the lab. The lights turned on as they entered the house.
"Now the lights are back on." John said, looking at the lights.
"Kiara, did the lights went out?" the vampire asks Kiara.
"Yes." Kiara answered, turning around to look at them. "The power went out. I headed to the basement and turned the power back on."
"Ow!" Josh grunted from the research room, hearing a door slam.
They ran through the hallway. Before they can enter the room, the door slammed itself several times.
"What the hell?" John asked confused.
Th door stops slamming itself and they all enter the room where Josh was sitting on the floor.
"What happened?" Kiara asks him as he stood up.
"I was going to get a drink until the door slammed in face." Josh said, rubbing his face.
Before they can say anything else, they can hear laughter. Josh turns around and notices the furniture and table starting to float. They ran outside to the lobby where everything was floating and moving on its own.
"Why do I feel cold?" Emma wondered, shivering.
"I feel it too." Josh said, feeling cold.
"Gengar!" a voice laughed.
Yamper started growling up at the ceiling.
"Who's there?!" Josh shouted.
Gengar appears from the ceiling.
"A Gengar!" John exclaims.
Josh takes out his Rotom Phone Poké Dex.
"Gengar, the Shadow Pokémon. A Ghost and Poison type. Gengar can pass through dimensions and appear almost anywhere. Since Gengar absorbs any warmth around it, the temperature suddenly drops wherever it appears."
"Gengar must be the one who turned the power off!" John exclaims.
"Then let's battle it!" Josh smiled. "Scorbunny and Yamper, ready?!"
"Scorbunny!"
"Yamp!" she barked.
"Sob!" Sobble nodded.
"Nic!" Nickit exclaims.
"Scorbunny, use Ember!" Josh commanded.
Scorbunny quickly kicks a pebble on fire towards Gengar.
"Gengar!" it shouted, firing a Shadow Ball at the pebble.
"Quick, use Water Gun!" Kiara ordered.
"Sobble!" he shouted, releasing a stream of water from his mouth at the Shadow Pokémon.
"Gar!" it shouted, firing purple energy waves shaped like its eyes at Sobble.
"Sob!" Sobble shouted as he got hit from the night shade.
"Gengar!" Gengar yelled, its eyes glowed light purple.
Everything in the lobby was floating in the air. Emma and Lucia blocked several paintings as John dodges the plant vase.
"Yamper, use Nuzzle!" Josh commanded.
"Yamper!" Yamper leaps at Gengar and started rubbing her cheeks against Gengar, giving it a shock to leave Gengar paralyzed.
"Geng." the Shadow Pokémon growled, disappearing from them.
"Where did it go?" Kiara wondered.
Scorbunny charges by Josh and slams himself into Gengar's Ice Punch. The two trainer turned around and backs up.
"Nice going." Josh smiled to him.
"Bunny." Scorbunny said.
Gengar smirks and was about to attack with Night Shade, but it can't move due to Yamper's Nuzzle. It couldn't even dodge Sobbles Water Gun and and Scorbunny's Ember. "Gengar!" it cried as Gengar hits the door.
"Now, Ember once more!" Josh ordered.
"Use Water Gun one more time!" Kiara commanded.
Scobrbunny and Sobble fired their attacks at the Shadow Pokémon, sending it flying out the door and into the air. Charizard appeared behind Gengar and used Dragon Claw to send Gengar flying away into the night. Everything fell down onto the floor.
"You guys ok?" Josh asks them.
"We're good." John said, placing a flower vase on the floor.
"Good job you guys." Kiara smiles at the five Pokémon.
Emma notices a flower pot was broken. "I'll get the broom and sweep up the shards." Emma said. After she swept the shards, everyone went to bed.
The next day, they spent the day making sure nothing else was broken. Then afternoon came and sees Professor Cerise.
"Hi Professor Cerise." Josh greeted him.
"Hello Josh." the professor greeted Josh. "Where is everyone else?"
"They're inside getting dinner ready." Josh answered.
"Nice." Cerise said.
Everyone else greeted the professor. On the table was spaghetti and meatballs.
"So did anything happen?" Cerise asks Josh as the young trainer was sitting next to Kiara.
"Yes." Josh said. "Gengar appeared here last night."
"Gengar?" Cerise repeated.
"Yeah." John said. "It was making the lights go off, lifting thing and slamming doors."
"Oh, Gengar must've been playing a prank on you then." Cerise said.
"Is Gengar after something?" Emma wondered.
"No." Cerise answered, shaking his head. "Gengar appeared here after I turned this haunted house into a lab. I didn't want to miss a minute of the fun with lights turning off and doors closing by themselves. It never went on for long so I figured it was just fine."
"Seems like Gengar decided to give up after not getting a reaction out of you." Lucia said.
"And I thought Gengar was coming back to put a curse on Josh." John teases Josh.
"Ha ha." Josh laughs with sarcasm.
"I have to say, that Gengar was really strong." Kiara said.
"So true." Lucia agreed.
"And I thought one of you would catch it." John said, looking across the table at Josh and Kiara.
"No thanks." Josh replied. "I think it was a good idea not to catch Gengar. Maybe someone else will catch it."
"Well, I want to thank you for watching over the lab." Cerise tells them.
"No problem." Kiara smiled.
As they continued eating, Gengar stood at the top of the lab.

Not for this chapter. I bet you guys weren't expecting Gengar to appear in this chapter. Josh and Kiara's Pokemon will be switched out for specific chapters at the end of a chapter.
