Npl is who she is, not a misguide, she did make a small appearance in the last chapter, but as it may she is going to make a bigger appearance later, after all, who would she be except brave.

His day at beacon has been going great so far, the initiations have just begun, and all the students have started to arrive on to the forest floor via their own landing strategies, he gotta admit what that blond girl is doing looks pretty fun, flying with explosions from her gauntlet, not bad, file away for later. Winter's sister on the other hand uses her family glyphs to descend in a graceful manner all too like a schnee, and then there is the Ruby girl that remind him of himself somewhat, all cheery and smiles, he could see loneliness under all that though, just like how he hid his back in the village.

"What do you think of the students so far?" the headmaster besides him on the cliff suddenly asked, pointing to the video footage "not the worst, that girl with the bow seems agile enough, and the Ruby girl is skilled too, and I know you don't earn Winter's praise without effort so Weiss is passable, it is the Jaune kid I am worried about." His concern wasn't based on nothing after all, from the way the kid holds himself, to the fact that he doesn't even have muscles good enough to be called genin, he was in every way not a fighter.

"Yes I know, he forged a transcript to get into this school, he actually didn't go through basic combat training from what I could find." His usual calm demeanor was present on his face, despite him just admitting that he let someone without any actual experience into a school of warriors.

"You what!?" his reaction of absolute shock brought a wince from the coffee drinking headmaster's expression.

"Yes, I know, I know, Glynda gave me enough of a headache from that shouting when I told her, I chose him because he has better potential than most here." his explanation clicked inside the blond's head.

"So you want me to mold him to shape because you think he could reach a level that most here can't? Smart move Ozpin-sama." his only reply from the caffeine addicted headmaster was a nod, as he was too busy downing another mug of his oh-so precious dark Mistralian brew 'I don't get how he drinks that bean juice without sugar or milk'.

Ruby

She wasn't sure who she wanted to pair up with, there was Yang, but she seemed more likely to be with her friends, and there is Blake, who was nice, a little quiet but workable, then there is Jaune, he is nice, probably can't hold himself in a fight though, gut there was someone else thou- speaking of the dellvi, the literal embodiment of an ice princess both in heart and soul I present~ Weiss Schnee!

Of all the people I could be paired with, I got her, maybe she will be nice, maybe she likes cookieeeeeeee ohmygodshehasanengravedrapierthathasarevolvingdustchamber did I go gushing over another weapon again, I did didn't i, sorry? Well either way I hope she will be nicer to me- and there she goes, why can't my first days at beacon go smoothly~

She hung her head as she walked through the emerald forest with… a storm cloud on her head? Wait hold up this is not a genjutsu right? Either way, genjutsu or not, a pack of beowolves are definitely real, and dangerous! The little red reaper deployed her scythe and danced.

She charged into the pack, dragging her weapon behind her, and as she approached the target she spun around swinging the scythe down on its head, the blade dug right behind the skull of the grimm, impaling the spinal cord, she twisted her body to land on the handle and shot the rifle hidden in the weapon, the recoil ripped the head of the beast off and launched her into another grimm, her scythe lodged itself into the grimms shoulder, using the momentum gained from the recoil she twisted around the handle and sliced the beast in half, with a flurry of rose petals she ran to another grimm and with the momentum behind her speed she swung sideways, instantly decapitating the dark creature, she spun with the scythe and planted the blade into the ground, kicking away the jaws of a 4th grimm, with the creature dazed a well placed sniper shot ended it's life.

Panting slightly but nonetheless alive and in one piece, she actually did it! Now just have to find her partner… uhh where is she? "Weiss? Weiss!?" … her calls were met with silence, now she lost her partner, well on the flipside she at least had a direction of where she headed to right? Well time to head off!

Then the bush behind her shook, she turned around expecting another grimm attack but the ice princess herself walked out right into the open with a very annoyed expression molded on her face "you came back-ack!?" Her words were cut off when Weiss walked past her, and then grabbed her by the collar, yanking the red reaper with her.

Naruto

Naruto was a shinobi

Say what you want about him, but in heart he will always be one, he doesn't seem the sort, more like a knight in shining armor than an assassin, but he knows a bad situation when he sees one, and from the looks of it, this is a bad situation.

What else would you call a grimm horde the size of a large town! He knew he shouldn't have used kurama's chakra earlier, so much raw killing intent, it's like a magnet for them. Ahh blast it, it's coming here now and it's coming fast, so what can he do now, except fight back.

"Ozpin?" he looked at the headmaster for confirmation, he must have sensed it too, because for once he put down his blasted coffee.

"Permission granted." two words sent the coaked blond into the forest, with little more than a nod he disappeared, too fast for the eye to see 'Naruto please be more careful' he knew the blond didn't need it, but some luck wouldn't hurt.

"I warned you beforehand Naruto, and you didn't listen, you just had to try and figure out how to activate th-" the beast's words were cut off by the blond 'yeah yeah I know, no need to rub it in, furball. Now just help me get rid of the problem!' his mood was sour already from how Weiss treated her teammate, hadn't he taught her better than that?

"Weiss, Ruby, get out of here!" his shouts at the pair on the ground who was apparently bickering moments prior for their attention "kitsune? What are you doing here? Aren't you already a huntsman?" Weiss's words of questioning was cut off by the squeals of her partner who looked as if she saw gold "Kitsune!? As in the 17 year old hunter who has completed 81097 on his own in under 2 years with a completion rate of 100 percent!?" her less than subtle starstruck made naruto chuckle in amusement, Weiss was however on the other hand was very very VERY mad at her partner for showing such disrespect for such an impressive individual such as him "ok I didn't think I was THAT famous to have a fan." he scratched the back of his neck nervously at the pair of girls standing in front of him "what do you mean you are not that famous, you are leagues above us and every girl above 6 has heardof you, also a date later?" The look on both Ruby's and Naruto's face at the mention of the date was hilarious "w-w-wait, hold up, do you and Winter still have that thing going on?" his questions brought even more raised eyebrows from Ruby "no no, you don't have to worry about that, we came to an… agreement of sorts." the look on Naruto's face when the answer was given was a rollercoaster of emotions that went from anticipation to relief to smiles of happiness "to share." now it went to horror "wuh? Can someone explain to me what is going on?" Ruby's pleas went unanswered "sorry maybe another time, Ruby." he finished with a two finger poke to the forehead.

"Grimm horde?" the tailed beast's sudden reminder jerked Naruto upright. "Enjoy the show."

"What sh-" Weiss's question was rudely interrupted by a dive bombing nevermore who plummeted straight into the blond, despite the horrified look on Ruby's face Weiss looked as if she was just watching a movie… where did she get the popcorn from, or the soda?

'Getting dive bombed by a nevermore huh? Neat. I have been through worse' his own thoughts were joined by Kurama's own a second later "Naruto! Stop getting distracted! We have a fight!" right a fight. The now composed blond took off at the nevermore, he unsheathed the tanto hidden on his left arm and went for the wing, he jumped through the air channeling wind chakra into the blade both lengthening it and sharpening it at the same time the blade dug itself into the overgrown crow's wing's socket and sliced a the wing clean off. With the downward momentum he then went below the bird and chopped it's legs and tail off with minimal effort on his part, chakra just makes thing too easy, the remaining wing got sliced by an upward swing through the shoulder joint, and with a spin he landed on the ground with a backflip in front of the decapitated nevermore.

...And he sticks the landing!" Ruby exclaimed out with glee at the performance in front of her, Weiss was more reserved, only giving a small smile, which in schnee terms is them laughing like a maniac, so I will take it… crap.
