Rev Pov:

"Literally, how come this town is a beacon for anyone or anything to try and take it over? Yes, the history of Seabrook has been rather sketchy due to how it's had numerous problems with it's past. First was the werewolves living here, then the abandonment of Suburbia and then zombie outbreak. Let's not forget that there was some ten thousand year old rock titan living under us waiting to eat the moonstone that the wolf pack had gotten. So why, does it have to be on Christmas?! Ever since that messed up Scarecrow that me and Wynter took out warning us long ago. "We are what you fear in the dark. And take Seabrook for out own". That's what he said, and how somehow it's coming back to bite us. But why it had to be during the holidays?"

The Big House-Morning

It's never often where a place like the Big House, a place where several agents and that of the residents of Seabrook capture dangerous monsters and creatures that try to cause trouble for Seabrook. Would not celebrate the holidays, Christmas however? Everyone should celebrate it, right now near the cells were that of decorations across the area. As well how that most of the inmates had been given some warm meals for the occasion, as well had a chance to be nicer to Brit and the others. Right now, Nightwing was talking to one of the prisoners in his room.

"So then, do you see what you've done was wrong?"

The Fruitpire questioning Roman, the horned creature that went to Seabrook's historic museum to acquire several of it's artifacts. Nodding to Nightwing, he agreed to talk with him as well learn from the mistake of what he's done.

"Yes. But these people don't deserve them, more or less understand their history. I wanted to collect them, I have a cave full of items that humans don't value."

Stating his reason of why he committed the crime, more or less that he wasn't doing it for that of causing trouble for the town. Night wing, nodded as well wrote down some notes for him seeing how after staying here and having these types of conversations. It could be seen he could head home.

"Of course, I myself have seen how these 'peculiar' humans value pride and stardom. But there are some they enjoy their history, along. That Brit and Revenant could discuss about seeing what artifacts you were going for. And see if there could be a agreement."

Discussing about a arrangement between him and the museum, though he would have to do some service in cleaning up the place at night time. Nodding to this agreement, the guards came out to guide Roman back to his room.

"Thank you, Fruitpire. And, happy holidays."

Thanking the bat like male in which Nightwing he tipped his hat to the horned creature as the sentinel men escorted him away. He always got peculiar of how during this time of season, there were some monsters that would be rational as well explain why they attack humans. Maybe it was because of how much comfort and peace that was shown, as well shared.

"Nightwing? Revenant asked for your assistance in the lab."

One of the men informing him as this got the fruitpire curious of how he would want to spend time in time with the others. Finishing up his writing about Roman's chance of his behavior change, he got up from his seat and walked to the lab where Revenant was at apparently. Arriving into the room, Rev was checking out the area of where he punch down the tree.

"This seems peculiar, I thought you'd be in town with the others."

Asking him about how instead of enjoying the festival with his friends and girlfriend, he was here looking at the sight that they got the tree from. The fruitpire looked at the papers on the table which showed last years forest records. More or less the environment of how it had changed.

"Both you and my parents have something in common, weather patterns. Especially how that they seem to make no sense but go together at the same time."

Revenant explaining as he brought up some photo's of last year at how in the forbidden forest. There seemed to be nothing going on, more or less that it was the same. However, with him getting the tree and Wynter looking around the area. It was connecting to either a rather suspicious feeling that something was off about the spot.

"That when the weather is perfect, there's always a chance for warnings to come. Right?"

Questioning him on how when the weather seemed perfect, more or less have nothing bad happening during the moment. That it was a chance for something to happen that could give people trouble. More or less warn them of how they would prepare for whatever might happen.

"Indeed, which I believe you might have found. Correct?"

Asking Rev seeing that he found a meaning to his words, which made him seem glad that he was learning from him. Bringing up some papers about last year with the Cabarakan incident, and to now. The forest seemed to be normal up to now.

"Apparently while we were dealing with our rocky friend. The lights were going on and off, thought it was the electric company going screwy with all the stomping. But there was something that happened."

Questioning him on the same night when the two as well Waylon battled the Mayan god, that there was some electricity problems that happened. Which he thought was just cause of the fight, however whatever happened last year and the strange sighting that Wynter looked in the forest. They were connected, however he couldn't figure out what is was.

"This is a lot of investigation you've accomplished. I'm proud."

Nightwing congratulated the zombie of how after all of the stuff that has happened, he was able to settle down and think. More or less figure out how with everything settled, there was still something a mist during the peace. He knew that the fight had some kind of after effect around the environment. Though while this was a good thing, the zombie didn't exactly look glad about it.

"Well, if these papers are true. Then the tree I picked is, you know. Bad."

Expressing to the fruitpire how while the tree may be a perfect fit, more or less a symbol of Christmas joy. Might be a possible threat that could endanger Seabrook, as well right in the middle of the town. Nightwing could see the stress on his face about it, along that there could be a chance that nothing bad might happen.

"While I do always tell you to be alert about what happens. As well to never to let down your guard, it's possible. That the tree might not be involved. Just some words to help settle you down."

Offering a helpful thought that if thinks about it, then the town would suggest it was his fault. The zombie looked on his mentor's face seeing how while it was neglecting the problem, it might as well help seeing that he could get a better look at the tree up close.

"Let's hope your right. Because I want no one to freak out about this."

Informing Nightwing that he didn't want this to get everyone frightened, more or less have them start panicking about a tree causing trouble for them. Soon enough Rev got a call about checking out the tree that had been fully decorated, which he responded of going to check it out.

"Well, time to test your theory. Going check out the tree right now."

Bringing up that they were going to see it right now, the fruitpire could tell that he was both calm and would make sure it was just a normal tree. Going over to grab a small kit, he got his coat as well made sure he was ready to arrive at the sight. Both he and Nightwing walked out of the lab and begun to walk in the hallways. As well noticed how the humans were giving out presents and being good to one another.

"For the years I've spent walking on my own, as well overserving humanity for a time. And see that this holiday, helps them be better. Why is that?"

Night wing asking him about why that while most holidays were bringing people together, more or less for obvious reasons. Christmas? Just made things more innocent, as well of how it helped others understand one another. The zombie could tell, as well how it's not that often to see some of the people in the Big House to cooperate.

"I guess, it's because how that with how much has happened. More or less with so much problems going on in Seabrook and in the world. Everyone tries to enjoy one day they could be good to one another."

Coming up with a possible idea of how there was reason behind this strange feeling for everyone being good to one another. As the two opened the door, they saw Brittney outside of the door. Along of greeting them, in which it appeared she had came from the tree sight where she had some people investigate the area.

"Had some of the scientists check out the snow, so far it seems normal. Along that whatever seemed to crash there was buried, with how much snow and dirt that had been gathered. It's going take a while to dig up whatever's buried down there."

Briefing them about what she was able to find out the tree, as well that it would take a while for the snow to melt and the ground to get soft for them to do a full exploration of what was underneath the dirt. Rev, merely sighs as he knew there had to be something that ruin the good moment the two were about to attend.

"Oh well, let's go try to enjoy something fun before this ruins anything. Like it usually does."

Revenant stating of if something bad was about to happen, they should at least enjoy whatever peace they had right now. Along of would make sure the others wouldn't know about this and have them freak out about the chance that the festival could be ruin.

Seabrook Town Center

At the center of the town, the Christmas festival was going off with ease as well everyone enjoying it. Zed and the gang were checking out the booths that had several games for the people. There was much laughter happening all around them, more or less that everyone was enjoying themselves within the moment. Wynter, however didn't look so happy with how Revenant wasn't here with her.

"Cheer up girl, he'll be here. Bet he's got his hands full back at his 'job'."

Willa cheering her up seeing that while she would often help out with Sentinel, Revenant would spend time there to check up on it's 'residents' as well would make sure Seabrook would be safe. They continued to walk as they saw the others enjoying the games and prizes they were getting.

"I know, I just hope those folks don't keep him there all day."

Responding back to her friend as Wynter would go full werewolf due to how she wanted his attention to be on her than with those creatures that tried to rip him to pieces. Willa, merely chuckled of how fierce she was along hugged her. Back at the booths, was Zed throwing several snowballs at a elf on the shelves. Was able to win some prizes for Addison and his sister.

"This elf looks pretty, here you go pup."

Eliza admiring the stuffed elf that she was able to get, along handed it to her pet. In which the large zombie dog begun chewing on it like if it was a chew toy, laughing at the sight. Addison took a moment to look around how the festival involved both human and zombie booths.

"This is literally the best thing to happen since the 'Fall Ball'. That was, until Shrimpy. Skelly, as well having half of the school supplies trying to ruin the moment."

Listing that while the Fall Ball was quite amazing at the end of it all, the beginning was a nightmare. More or less that it made some of the students and kids frighten of Shrimpy for a couple of weeks when they heard about him going off the rails. Zed, noticing his girlfriend acting a bit sad walked over and gave her a hug.

"Well there's no type of magic stones to ruin it. Along that nothing bad happens on Christmas, right guys?"

Looking to the others of how out of the times that Seabrook has had Christmas, nothing bad had ever happen. Eliza, adjusted her eyes to the side seeing how there seemed to be a problem with that issue with what he's said.

"Well, remember when we were growing up. And when we had that tree made up from metal? And tried to light it up, it caused a black out for half of Zombie town?"

Brining up a memory of how before both Seabrook and the zombies had finally be able to combine their worlds together. There was still trouble with them, especially when it came to celebrating holidays. Zed, nodding his head of how that was a memory that couldn't be forgotten. But it was in the past, as well that things had become better since those days.

"Flashy."

Bonzo thinking about it as well seeing that it the festival here reminded him of what happened with the tree, along of how the festival reminding him of the lights that happened. Though now that things had settled, everything was perfect. Wyatt, who was eating some snacks noticed something at one of the booths.

"Hey guys, look who's participating in the festival."

Telling the others in which they looked over seeing Waylon, who had a booth of his own which involved handing out small stuffed wolves for the kids. He possessed as a large abominable snow monster along growling at the people, Zoey. Looked curious as she decided to have a go at the large wolf. In which all she had to do was throw the ball right the horn that was on Waylon's head.

"You can do it sis!"

Zed encouraging her as Zoey, as the little zombie gripped the ball in her hand and tried to throw it. However, the ball landed right on top of his nose. The group got shocked of how she was unable to take off his horn as well looking sad. As well possibly hurting Waylon during the mist of it, the large wolf. Looked at the sadden girl as he walked over and handed her the ball back. Getting adjusted in the same position and doing some growling, Zoey threw the ball and knocked his horn right off.

"He's such a softy."

Willa thinking to herself as Waylon let out some wounded howls seeing that Zoey won, in which the girl smiled at how the beta wolf was acting silly for her. Due how he was always considerate to the pups at the wolf den. As they were enjoying the sight, they didn't notice Revenant along with the others coming up to see them. The three were wearing traditional Christmas clothing, more or less looking like everyone else here in the festival.

"Waylon acting like a teddy bear for kids? Somebody should have recorded this."

Rev stating as the others saw him and looked glad to see him here, more or less that it was about time they had arrived. Wynter rushed over and hugged him, as they were waiting to see the tree as well see it fully decorated.

"Glad you could make it, now we can see the tree that you knocked down for us."

Eliza telling him of how after the next day of getting the decorations upon the large tree, which three joined up with the group to take a look at the tree. In which Rev was still worried about what might happen, taking a walk towards the large Christmas tree. In which they saw how it had many ornaments from Seabrook as well zombie town. And most importantly that of the wolves who've made their home here.

"Sure they aren't fancy like the ornaments here, but each one shows a bit of our culture."

Willa explaining that the ornaments that theirs were basically bones, pieces of fur and that of hand made rocks that looked like moon symbols. It was a astonishing sight, more or less that it made the three belonging to everyone in town.

"Rev? I was able to talk to the mayor. As well was able for you to do the honors of planting the last ornament."

Addison telling him of how since he had a lot of work getting the tree, he should do the honor of placing one last piece upon the tree. Rev looked at the white haired girl as it was a Shrimp that looked like the combination of all three species. It represented unity, more or less that it made Seabrook more open for everyone. Looking at Addison and Zed, he handed it back to them.

"You two should do it, it started with you coming together. It should be placed up by you."

Responding to Addison and Zed seeing that it was because of them that humans and zombies got along, as well helped out with werewolves being welcomed into town. Zed, who saw his friend telling them to do this. Pats him on the shoulder of how this was possibly the best thing he could have ever given him.

"Appears someone is trying to stay out of the spotlight now aren't they?"

Teasing him a bit as Rev rolled his eyes of how he believed that the two should do it. Standing to the side, both Addison and Zed held the ornament together. As well placed upon the tree, in which the tree was fully completed. In which suddenly, on que the tree soon lite up having it glow across the festival. Rev, noticing the lights turn to Addison seeing how this was why she wanted him to place it.

"Nice one Addison, really."

Complimenting her, however. As she placed the ornament onto a branch with Zed, they both got stabbed by the quill upon the branch. In which seemed that they were quite sharp.

"Could have found a tree that wasn't a porcupine?"

Making a joke as Rev chuckled along the way seeing that it felt good to have a laugh, as well how now that they could enjoy the festivities with them. The gang decided to check out the rest of the booths and participate with the games. Not knowing that the small pricks of blood that came from Addison's and Zed's finger, sept into the branch in a mysterious manner. As the tree had ate the blood, along of that the paranoia of Revenant might be correct with the tree.

Later that night

With the booths all closed up and everyone went home for a good nights sleep, there was a small group of people walking across the closed sight of the festival. Which was Bucky and his gang, who were trying to make their way to the snowman models that had been done. In which he seemed a bit jealous of how they seemed to look much more better than his.

"Why do we have to be here at night? It's to cold here."

Stacey asking as the cheerleaders were called up by Bucky to come here cause Bucky apparently had a plan for how to make his snowman look much more better than the others.

"Because I don't want anyone seeing how I can make my Snow Bucky much more better than anyone. Seeing how it can be twice as handsome as the original."

Bucky telling her and the other two as there were ways to make the snowman version of himself handsome. Continuing to walk to where the snowmen were located, they noticed something off. Bucky's snowman looking rather, weak looking. As well half way to becoming a mound of snow, Bucky. Had his jaw hanging of how his snow self looked, ugly.

"Isn't snow suppose to be, cold and not melt? I mean the sun isn't out."

Jacey stating as Bucky, remained speechless of how the snowman looked like it was crumbling. Trying to see what happened, he looked at the other snowmen as they looked normal. Gripping his fist, he walked over and was about to ruin them. Though he accidentally tripped onto the ground.

"What the heck?"

Getting freaked out as he saw underneath where he tripped, was a branch. Or what looked like a root which was connected to Bucky's snowman. As well absorbing the snow from it and turning it into water. He and the cheerleaders looked confused by this, as well saw how the tree. Made a ominous glow like if it was alive.

"Beat it."

Hearing a voice coming from the tree, as they could tell this wasn't a normal tree. Not taking the chance, the four cheerleaders made a quick run away from the large possible living tree. As it chuckled softly, as well had the lights turn off slowly presuming it's normal state. As well drinking the snow from Bucky's snowman, in which it was trying to fuel itself. For a mysterious purpose that no one would know about, not until it had become stronger.
