Happy new chapter everyone! I know I said I'd try to update earlier but it couldn't happen. But I am able to update now so please enjoy.

It was soon going to be a new semester at Ever After High and that meant there would be a flood of potential new students from all grades coming to the school to tour the campus. Now normally it would be left to the headmaster and his brother to give these tours for the new students, but the growing number has made it so that Headmaster Grimm had to ask the school's counselor and some student volunteers to help with the tours today.
"Okay, so you're saying that Apple has…ah how did you explain it again?" Andrea asked as she and Rotbart walked down the halls towards the front of the school.
"Apple is using emotional blackmail to get me to take the Heroics and Good Kingdom Management 101 classes." Rotbart explains as they continue to walk down the halls. "The idea that I should also be a 'good student' and help with the tours, I'm sure was really my sister's idea although Apple has no problem taking credit for suggesting it."
"The best part of this story is that I get to spend the whole day saying I told you so." Andrea says gleefully as they reached the front of the school.
"As annoying as this is for me, I need to gain back Apple's trust. Doesn't mean that I'm not above scaring the new targ-ahem students while I have this unique opportunity." Rotbart states with an evil smirk on his face. "After all I'm still a villain."
"Whatever helps you sleep at night, Anti-hero." Andrea rolls her eyes as they stand with the rest of the student helpers in front of the new students while Headmaster Grimm goes on about traditions and legacy and destiny. The speech went on for thirty minutes much to the dismay of the helpers who had to stand there the whole time.
"Now the tour will begin, my brother Giles and myself will be taking all the new incoming freshman." Headmaster Grimm announces loudly to the crowd. "Now since there are some upper class students joining us this semester the following new students will be going on the tour with counselor Andrea, Chase Redford, Courtly Jester, Meeshell Mermaid, and Nina Thumbell please follower her to the courtyard."
"Hi, welcome to Ever After High I'm Andrea and I'll be you're tour guild!" Andrea says happy as the group approaches, before leaving with her group she gives Rotbart a look that clearly stated for him to behave but he pretends not to see it. "You picked a great day for a tour because later on today-"
The sound of Andrea's voice fades away and Rotbart and the other students wait around for Headmaster Grimm to assign them the student or students that they would be giving tours to. Luckily for Rotbart by the time Headmaster Grimm got to him there were no other new students to give a tour.
"Well, Mr. Von Schwarz it appears as though you cannot participate. How…unfortunate." Headmaster Grimm states not even really hiding his pleasure at seeing no more students. But then suddenly one boy run up to the two from the enchanted forest.
"Sorry, I'm late. I saw this really big deer and decided to follow it so I could shoot it." The boy says out of breath as he stands in front of the Headmaster and Rotbart the boy was tall and handsome with short black hair, blue eyes and a muscular body.
"Young man! At Ever After High we do not allow such tardiness and to make matters worse your reasoning for being late is unacceptable!" Headmaster Grimm yelled looking down at the boy. "What is your name young man?"
"My name is Gaston Junior Huntsman but I prefer GJ." GJ says calmly he seemed almost amused by how the headmaster was talking to him.
"Oh, I see now well that explains why you had to go after that deer." Headmaster Grimm states annoyed clearly remembering how the boy's father was back when he was in school. "Regardless this will not be a passable excuse once you become an official student here young man. Now because of your tardiness there are no other students around to give you the tour of the school."
"If you would remember Headmaster Grimm, I am still here." Rotbart said coolly reminding the older man that he hadn't left much to his dismay. "I'm sure I'll have no troubles handling one student." Rotbart walk away gesturing for the other boy to follow him.
"So is the Headmaster Grimm always going to act this way?" GJ asked once he caught up to the would-be-villain.
"Yes, it can be most unfortunate if you are a villain, and I do believe you and I play the role of villains in our respective stories." Rotbart answered as the two walked through the courtyard.
"I'm not so sure I myself am a villain though…ah?" GJ paused when he realized he didn't know Rotbart's name.
"Oh, right Rotbart Von Schwarz son of Eric Von Schwarz the evil wizard from Swan Lake." Rotbart tells him although knowing that most people don't really know much about Swan Lake.
"Tragic story." GJ says shaking his head a bit. "Not just for the Swan princess though but the wizard has it pretty bad for someone whose motivation is love even though he goes about it the wrong way."
"That's very insightful analysis of Swan Lake Gaston Junior." Rotbart says surprisingly impressed. "Although I myself have recently given up the story to trade places with my sister in the Snow White story."
"Please just call me GJ." GJ tells the other boy. "I don't much care for my name…my father only gave it to me because there is no name better than Gaston!" GJ rolls his eyes as he explained his father's logic sarcastically. "So I would guess being the villain in Snow White is vastly different than being the villain in Swan Lake?"
"Well, yes it is vastly different although-" Rotbart paused as he gathered his thoughts together, he was surprisingly really enjoying his conversation with GJ. He had assumed the other boy would be like his father rude, loud and full of himself but he wasn't. "I am now romantically involved with Apple White so I won't be much of a villain in that story anymore…at least not to her."
"Do you still want to be a villain?" GJ questioned with curiosity to which Rotbart nodded his head. "My destiny is complicated as well, I'm a villain to the next Beauty and Beast but to the villagers I'm meant to be seen as a hero whom helps provide food and protection from wild beastly animals. And so I have to take both hero and villain classes while I am here."
"So you are both admired and despised hmm I can relate." Rotbart pondered thinking about how everyone outside of his family, Apple and Andrea really liked him but the rest either hate, feared or were indifferent to him. "I suppose since Apple is making me take Heroics 101 this coming semester I will see you there."
"Why is your girlfriend making you take a class you don't want to go to?" GJ question with mild amusement.
From then on out the two boys spent most of the tour exchanging stories and not really paying attention to the school grounds itself. GJ learned why Apple was making Rotbart take 'Good' classes and he learned that whenever Apple acted anyway that was less then pure and perfect was a huge turn on for Rotbart. In return Rotbart learned that GJ was into photography and when he said shoot he meant with his camera, GJ liked black and white pictures the best and would love to one day have his own dark room. GJ was also related to Hunter Huntsman in some way, but neither of the families could remember how, GJ like Hunter didn't really want to hunt down animals but he wasn't a vegetarian like his cousin. GJ also loved to read and lost his mind when Rotbart told him that he hand an Edgar Allen Poe book from the writer because he knew Andrea and had even been to the underworld.
"Wait so you really had a conversation by yourself with the Hades?!" GJ asked in a tone were it was clear that he almost didn't believe the other boy.
"Yes, and that god is just as intimidating as you would think he would be." Rotbart answered back coolly fighting the need to shudder when recalling that day.
"So you weren't scared at all?" GJ questioned wondering how the other boy could have possibly kept his composure in front of the Lord of the Underworld.
"I'll admit that when I first met him I didn't feel very welcome but I kept my composure despite the fact that-" Rotbart begins to explain but is interrupted by the sound of Rosabella Beauty protesting loudly about the rights of ogres or trolls or anything beastly related. "Well then it must be lunch time now."
"Excuse me?" GJ questioned turning to look at his tour guild.
"Rosabella Beauty is always protesting this and that around lunch time." Rotbart explained watching as said girl approached the two clipboard in hand.
"Hey guys, would you sign this for the UBC?!" Rosabella asked holding up the clipboard for either boy to sign the paper.
"What's wrong this time Rosabella did someone look at a troll the wrong way again?" Rotbart asked mockingly though his companion stayed quiet as they spoke GJ just stood there trying to take in the girl's features.
"Rotbart! I've told you a thousand times it's important to protect the right of our fellow beastly citizens!" Rosabella explains glaring at the would-be-villain.
"Don't yell so loud Rosabella, you wouldn't want to lose that voice of yours again would you?" Rotbart says clearly amused that he got the princess so upset before she could yell about something else GJ interrupted.
"Here, I'll sign the petition for you." GJ says reminding the two of the other person, whom had been standing there with them.
"Thank you!" Rosabella exclaims happily handing the clipboard over to the boy watching him sign it. "It's good to see that even though you're hanging out with this villain you're still willing to help creatures in need."
"Well, I don't mind." GJ says with a shrug. "But…I mean I'm kinda a villain too."
"What?! There is no way someone as kind as you could be a villain." Rosabella proclaims in surprise which peeks Rotbart's interest he had always assumed that every hero and villain in each story meant each other before school but it would appear that this was GJ and Rosabella's first time meeting.
"We have to get going now Rosabella, I have to finish with his tour and he has a deer family to hunt down and shoot later on today sooo-" Rotbart says mischievously pretending not to notice the look of horror on the princess's face.
"What? No I won't allow it!" Rosabella yells her face now becoming red with anger. "Who are you to hunt down a family of deer or any other animal anyway?!"
"Oh, right I'm…Gaston Junior but I much prefer GJ." GJ answers as he shoots a glare at Rotbart, he knew what Rotbart was doing to annoy Rosabella and he didn't appreciate having to deal with this his first day at Ever After.
"Gaston Junior? Of course, well no wonder you have no problems shooting down a defenseless family of deer!" Rosabella shouts with clear disgust. "So was this whole thing meant to be some kind of joke?" Before either boy could answer she walks away in a huff.
"You're an asshole you know that!" GJ states turning to glare at the other boy.
"I'm a villain always remember that; besides it is so rare that I see two people from the same story whom have never met each other once." Rotbart said with smirk as they continued walking around the school.
"Yes well, my family still lives in the village and her family lives in that castle now." GJ explains with a shrug. "And for some reason our paths never crossed."
"Well, they have now and it's off to a very interesting start." Rotbart states a dark smile playing across his face.
"I wonder how your girlfriend and sister would feel if I told them of your not so good behavior today?" GJ says his own smirk now growing on his face.
"As if they would believe a complete stranger over me!" Rotbart challenged while glaring at the other boy's threat.
"Ah, but you my friend are still in the doghouse and were told to behave yourself." GJ exclaims matching the other villain's glare. "And you forget since it is within my story to be loved by everyone but Rosabella to them I'm just a new handsome naïve student looking for guidance."
"Clever, GJ very clever I can respect that but I wouldn't challenge me if I were you." Rotbart says with a mock glare, under normal circumstances he would have been very upset at anyone whom, tried to blackmail him but he had grown to respect GJ…at least to a certain point.
"Wouldn't dream of it." GJ says rolling his eyes at the other boy. "Besides the only person I'm supposed to be starting a rivalry with is the next beast."
"Good luck with that before I used to think that would be Daring Charming. That prince had always been full of himself and surviving on the idea of being handsome and the prince in Snow White." Rotbart explained with sight distain of the other boy. "He has fortunately though earlier this year woke up enough to realize that it was the wrong way to live and now for some reason Cerise Hood tolerates him enough to be his girlfriend though he still has moments of being self-centered. The only other guess is Dexter Charming but that boy is much too nice and good to ever get cursed by anyone…it also helps that he is dating my sister."
"Guess my father will be disappointed to learn that I can't have an epic rivalry with the beast." GJ says with a shrug.
"Nonsense, if there is one thing I know about this school is that it is lousy with princes and wanna-be- heroes." Rotbart states. "One of them is bound to be the next Beast."
The rest of the tour was uneventful and soon it was time for the students to go to their bending lessons. But as a treat for today since the new students were still around Andrea decided today would be a good day to have a bending tournament.
"Now, I want to take the time to explain to the new students that what you are about to see has taken months of practice and lessons. So when you take the bending test and possibly start your lessons don't be disappointed if you can't do this stuff right away." Antonio explained to the crowd of students watching.
They had decided to use the dragon games arena for this tournament since it was the largest space that was still close enough to the school, they also added a large pool of water for the water benders. Currently the students both benders and non-benders where waiting for Andrea to pull two names out of Maddie's hat, those two students would be the ones to begin the tournament.
"Okay, people the rules are simple first person to knock their opponent off of their feet three times wins the match!" Alex explained from where he and the rest of the teachers would be judging.
"First up is going to be Blondie Lockes and Cerise Hood!" Andrea announced with excitement as the crowd cheered the two made their way to the center of the arena. "Ready…begin!"
The two girls squared off facing each other neither one of them making a move just yet, after a minute of waiting Blondie decides to start with an air kick spending the large amount of compressed air Cerise's way. Cerise than counters with the water bullet move which pushes Blondie back a bit but doesn't knock her down. Cerise sees this as a good time to attack again sends a water wave which does knock down Blondie who was already out of balance because of the first hit.
"Alright, go Cerise!" Daring cheers along with the other students as the match goes underway.
The match went on for another thirty minutes, much to the surprise of everyone but a few people it was a lot harder for Blondie to knock Cerise down with air bending it only happened once with the air bomb attack but Cerise had already gotten Blondie a second time with the water whip. Blondie though wasn't giving up and hit the other girl again with an air blast but Cerise was able to move out of the way and hit the other girl with another water wave which knocked her down thus winning the match.
"And it's all over now the winner is Cerise Hood!" Lily announces gleefully as the crowd cheers on, Daring runs up to Cerise and kisses her as he spins her around as they get caught up in the excitement of the first match.
"Alright people next match is going to be Apple White-" Andrea shouts as the crowd waits to hear whom the princess would be up against. "And Rotbart Von Schwarz!" The crowd goes quiet most shocked since they knew that the two students had just barely made up recently, Rotbart and Apple whom were sitting next to each other when the announcement was made were equally surprised.
"Absolutely not!" Rotbart shouts breaking the silence that fell throughout the arena. "Pick again!"
"Excuse me?" Andrea says narrowing her eyes at the student. "This system may be random but it is fair so you'll just have to deal with it Darkest."
"I am not fighting against my girlfriend!" Rotbart argues back glaring at the demi-goddess.
"That's enough Rotbart." Apple said interrupting the two. "There is no reason for us to get special treatment just because we're dating!"
"But Apple Core-" Rotbart tried to reason with her but the glare that she gave him clearly showed that this matter wasn't to be argued any further. "Fine don't say I didn't warn you when you lose. I'll do my best not to cause you much harm."
"We'll see about that!" Apple said getting into the spirit of competition, the crowd cheers again already knowing that this was going to be a really good match.
The two make their way to the center of the arena just like the students before them they take a minute before either of them makes a move, Rotbart decides to begin by sending a large water wave towards Apple. She stops it in its tracks with an earth block and then follows with by shooting a boulder sized rock towards Rotbart that knocks him down.
"I guess you really came to play Apple Core." Rotbart said with a smirk while standing back up and taking off his shirt, he'd be lying if he didn't say he wasn't surprise by the attack. "Alright then I guess I better take this seriously as well."
The match resume fiercely after that with the couple going at it with everything they had, and now after thirty minutes they were both tied having knocked each other down twice already. The crowd watched with baited breathe as they waited to see who was going to win. Rotbart tried again using the water wave but Apple was able to dodge unfortunately for him he wasn't able to block the large piece of rock that hit his chest knocking him down for the third time.
"And there it is people the winner is Apple White!" Lily announces as the crowd cheers on.
Apple walks over to Rotbart helping him back up to his feet, Rotbart for the most part was actually impressed and not embarrassed by his failure. "You did better than I thought Apple Core next time I won't hold back." Rotbart says with a smirk as they walked back to their seats.
"That's funny I was thinking the same thing." Apple responded back to her boyfriend.
"Okay people next up is Sparrow Hood and Hunter Huntsman." Andrea shouts as the crowd cheers on for the next benders.
And that's the end of this chapter please tell me if you like my new OC GJ I've always wanted Rotbart to have a guy friend which is part of the reason I created him the other reason should reveal itself later if people don't see it now okay than see you next time and as always please read and review.
