Eternal Luffy 6

For those who are curious about what I said about the shield. Yes it is Captain America's shield if you have watched the MCU you will recognize the line used though instead of the serum I subbed in the shield. If you have watched Falcon and the Winter Soldier you will understand why I said the shield is special. It made Walker worse than he was and Sam better than he was. It also was the catalyst for Steve to truly become Captain America. That doesn't mean Juanne will get super soldier serum with it. As far as the test with Winter all is not as simple as it seems.

Luffy on his way back is thinking about what he just did and feels rather bad about lying to them about the sword. See the sword itself is the true test, before Mihawk gave the sword to Luffy he told him of the curse he put upon it. He realized it would be to powerful for just anyone to wield and thus had cursed or blessed it depending on who you asked. See it will not strike down an innocent and if you try and force it to it will take your life, however if you trust the sword you will be granted great power. This is the burden he gave Winter for he believes she is worthy. In all his many lives he had yet to find one he thought worthy, he hopes he is not wrong.
Once he returns back to Beacon he finally can rest for the first time since he began this journey of his. Most of the pieces are in place now it is a simple matter of ensuring they are ready for what is to come after the war and perhaps find a way to prevent the war from happening in the first place.

Eternal Luffy

Weiss is in a state of shock when her and Juanne leave Luffy so much so that Juanne is basically leading her back to their teams. She can't help but think over everything he has said and how different he seems from anyone else she has ever came across. When finally they get back to their dorm rooms they are greeted by their teams.

Weiss "Blake Luffy gave me this to give to you he said you might enjoy it. It seems to be about his life."

Blake "Thank you I am not sure I actually want to know about his life he scares me."

Ruby asks "So what did you get as your reward? What did Luffy have to say?"

Weiss snaps back to herself "He gave me a necklace he said it was the last treasure his crew ever acquired. He also told me some things that I can not believe."

This gets everyone quite. Weiss begins to explain "He said he had watched my father and that he was the center of events but never on the right side, this of course makes sense my father is not a nice man especially since Winter left. He said he was a true immortal whatever that means and that he had been many things."

Blake says thoughtfully "You said this book is about him? Perhaps I should read it and inform everyone of the highlights."

Ruby responds "That sounds like a good idea. Then we can put together a list of questions for him."

This gets everyone to agree. Pyrah knows Juanne got something as well "So what did you get Juanne?"

Juanne smiles "I got a shield he says its special and has a legacy and perhaps even special properties." he pulls the shield and passes it around much like Yang had done.

Pyrah says surprised "My semblance can't effect this and why is it so light?"

Juanne is shocked by this "I don't why your semblance can't effect it but he said it's made of vibranium? I have never heard of it but he said its a special metal."

This catches everyone by surprise "Perhaps we should test it out tomorrow and see how good it is" Yang ponders.

Eternal Luffy

Luffy is deep in thought in his room. He never intended to return to this land, he had hoped the deal he struck would last. He never much liked killing anything least of all people, unfortunately over the lifetimes he had to do it many a time. It has been a long time even for him since he had handed over his life story once let alone twice. He knows he has to make these connections to see the world balanced after he removes Ozpin and Salem that doesn't mean it doesnt hurt knowing that not everyone will make it through to the end, knowing that he will have to watch once again as those he cares for grow old and die while he stays young and death refuses to take him.

He has never gave up searching for a way to die. He has tried angering God's he tried volcano's and world ending weapons. If it could be tried he tried it and nothing has worked. For a long time he was in a deep depression because of this because while yes there are more adventures to go on and always more places to see he never gets to really be with anyone not anymore not since she died.

He decides then and there that while some things have to happen others can be ready for them to happen. He decides for the first time in a very long time to interfere in the future.

Eternal Luffy

That next day while the rest of their teams are experimenting with Juanne's shield Pyrah slips away to go talk to Luffy. When she finds him in his office she is ready to nock when he summons her inside.

"I have been thinking about what you said when you gave me the helmet. I came here to be myself and not the tournament champion. Will you help me achieve my goal?"

Luffy smiles "No I will not. You see simply with that statement you have achieved your goal now you need another. Why don't you go grab Team RWBY and the rest of your team and join me in my office there are things you 8 must be made aware of. After that you can decide if this path is for you or not."

Pyrah nods her head not really understanding. She leaves and gathers her friends. They all head to Luffy's office and are surprised to see Mrs. Goodwitch there as well.

Luffy shows them all to the sitting room puts the coffee on the table and after everyone is seated begins. "Recently I gave a book to Mrs. Goodwitch and Blake. This book is all about my life before I became the man I am today. Mrs. Goodwitch finished hers last night making this the right time to have this discussion. Please hold all questions until the end. I am a true immortal have been since the government of my time forced me to become one as punishment. See I was a pirate and I was against many of the things the world government was for such as slavery and extortion. I became a pirate to be free. Eventually I became a very powerful pirate, strong enough to overthrow the government. I was captured when they used my crews family against me. After they captured me they threw me in a lab to be studied as I had done things never seen before. They released doctored video of me being executed, this broke the moral of my crew. It split apart the alliance I had formed to bring freedom to people. Eventually after they had experimented on me for a few years they decided that a fitting punishment would be to make me an immortal. See they had tracked down and killed everyone I ever held dear and anyone who I had so much as smiled at. When they made me an immortal they locked me in a cell at the bottom of the ocean to be forgotten. After I got out I lived many lives collected many things, I even found some friends had survived. After they realized it truly was me they gave me heirlooms before heading off to finish what we started all those years ago. As my lives grew I saw worlds end and begin lives come and go and as they did my power continued to grow. Eventually I saw the founding of this world and after a time I saw the two great forces that are at war and I brokered a peace. Until recently as part of that agreement I had been in exile. Recently that peace was broken by the one controlling the Grimm. Her name is Salem her opposite goes by the name Ozpin and is the current headmaster. After certain events playout I will be heading to the Grimm lands to destroy Salem. After that happens Humanity will be given its first real chance in forever to come together and grow together."

This leaves them all stunned silent most unsure of what to believe let alone how to process what just was told to them. Finally Juanne speaks up "Why tell us this? We are students and first year students at that. Mrs Goodwitch I understand but us that seems strange."

"It is indeed strange that I would tell you this however you 8 are at the center of events that could change the world. I decided last night that I will not allow you to walk into this blind or unprepared. As such I have told you. It is up to you if you will stay and continue your path or if you will leave and search out safety. I can not ensure your survival regardless of my intervention."

Ruby perks up "I will not be made into a weapon to wielded by someone else destiny be dammed if you want to change the future I will assist but I will not be made a weapon I am a person."

This gets a series of head nods from those seated. "I would never make a person into a weapon, I have seen that happen to many times. You all will be your own people and you will do what you want but you will have full access to all my allies as I have been building a group to put humanity on its best foot."
