After a vision from Akatosh, I am supposed to pick up a mystery girl in Riverwood. Little do I know about her past and her destiny, but the times to come are going to provide both adventures and potential for romance. At least for the beginning, the story will partially cover the main quest and the Companions, with some modifications of mine. [Feedback and reviews very welcome!]

An engineer from Earth plays a lot of TES V, always being the 'Knight in Shining Armor' rescuing the proverbial 'Damsel in Distress'. After Akatosh decided that our hero gets a job offer to help the new Dragonborn along, he wakes up in the cart to Helgen and is now a tall, strong and rejuvenated Khajiit; despite his knowledge from playing the game, not everything goes smoothly...

With his wife dead and children taken by the Dawnguard, the vampire lord and Listener of the Dark Brotherhood will stop at nothing until his children are back safe and the vampire hunters lay dead in their own castle halls. Meanwhile, Lucia and Aventus Darven refuse to become apprentices to the Dawnguard because despite them claiming to be good, they still destroyed their family.

So apparently the Dragonborn has returned, and is fighting for the fate of the world. Good for them. Because while that's going on we've got a kid lying his way into school, a woman with some bodily issues, an Orc trying not to get attached to her assassination target, and a cat who's really just here to cut hair. Not the people you'd ideally entrust the fate of Skyrim to, huh?

The Dawn Guard, An Ancient Order of Vampire Hunters that protected Skyrim for centuries from The Creatures Of The Night has been fully restored after a hundred years of Silence. Surprisingly, It took months rather than years to accomplish this goal, no thanks to the Order's newest member, The Dragonborn. Aeiron Stormblade, Thane of Whiterun, is a person of many different things; dangerous and swift nearing the top of the list. I've decided to write a story based on my very first Dovahkiin, the Breton Paladin Cura! Raised in the Vigil of Stendarr, she goes on to save Skyrim in times of crisis in a Season Unending! Humble and meek by nature, Cura finds her values and general disposition challenged by the brutal world around her. *Decided to write this since Skyrim's 10th Anniversary! :)*

Rahgol isn't the ideal hero one would expect in a story, so what happens when he has to deal with Dragons returning, a Goddess that seeks to destroy it yet comes to mean so much to him, a Civil War, and Elves wanting him dead? Video games can be our escape from reality, but one player struggling with depression and navigating adulthood takes it a step forward and becomes a part of Skyrim after attempting to take her own life. We see many NPCs throughout the world of Skyrim. To us they may be no more than randomly generated enemies for our protagonist to overcome but sometimes there's a little more to their character than we realize.

Karsten Iron-Sides, the Last Dragonborn, has a history in both Solitude and Windhelm. Now, nearly a year after his discovery, all of Skyrim waits to see who he will support, and where he will go. But Karsten has bigger threats to worry about, most notably the World Eater, Alduin. As he navigates the politics of Skyrim, he finds himself meeting old friends and making new ones.

The group of disheveled men whispered amongst themselves before looking back over at me, their expressions blank. "Yeah, yeah, lady. Got any skooma?" they asked, mouths drooling. My left eye began to twitch. This was going to be harder than I thought.
