After cleaning the pudding off of himself, Dr. Scratchansniff was ready to call it a night.
He changed into some pajamas, brushed his teeth and went to check on the Warners, who was still on the couch, watching TV.
"Ok kidez, time now for beddy-by," the doctor said to the trio.
"But we're not sleepy," spoke Dot.
"Ya, but you need to sleep."
"Why?"
"Because it's night time?"
"Why?" asked Wakko.
"Because the sun went down," the doctor answered.
"Why?" asked Yakko.
"Because it's no longer day time and now it's not.
Therefore, it's time for bed."
"Why?" the three Warners asked at once.
"Because you need sleep to keep energized," Dr. Scratchansniff, who was starting to get tired of this game pointed out.
"Why?"
Because if you don't sleep, your brains will turn into mushy oatmeal!"
"Now why didn't you say so in the first place," said Yakko.
"Beacuse I...nevermind just get ready for bed."
"Okie Dokie Scratchy," said the Warners at the same time, before making a beeline to the bathroom.
"I was right, I knew I would regrate this," sighed the doctor.
After the Warners took a quick bath, brushed their teeth, and got into their pajamas, (Yakko and Wakko had on matching dark blue footy pjs, while Dot had a pink nightgown and matching fuzzy slippers) they were ready for bed, as they were told by their host.
"Now then, time for bed," said the doctor.
Upon hearing those words, the Warners indeed got into bed.
The bed located in Dr. Scratchansniff's room.
"So doc, where are you gonna sleep?" asked Yakko.
"I guess I'll take the couch," Dr. Scratchansniff replied.
Good night Scratchy," said the Warners.
"Good night kidez," said the doctor, who took a pillow and blanket, turning the couch into a makeshift bed.
Dr. Scratchansniff climbed onto the couch, placed his head on the pillow, covered himself with the blanket and began to fall asleep.
That is, until he heard commotion, that was coming from his bedroom.
Not surprised that the Warners were up to something, the doctor got up off the couch and checked to see what the racket was all about.
Sure enough, he was right.
As Yakko, Wakko and Dot were not sleeping at all, but having a pillow fight.
Of course, Dr. Scratchansniff wasn't overly happy by what he was seeing.
"Uh kidez," he said trying to get the Warners attention.
But the trio didn't look up.
The doctor called out to Yakko, Wakko and Dot once more.
No respond, as the three were having too much fun with their pillow fight.
"Varners!" Dr. Scratchansniff cried out.
The scream got the trio's attention instantly.
"You screamed doc?" asked Yakko.
"I did indeed screamed!"
"But why?" asked Wakko.
"Because you're suppose to be in bed, not having a pillow fight!"
"We're not tired though.
Maybe if you read us a story, we can fall asleep," said Dot.
"Vell, I'm not so sure," said Dr. Scratchansniff.
"Pleeeeeeaaasssssseeee!" Yakko, Wakko and Dot suggested.
"Vell, OK.
But only one story then off to bed."
"Deal."
The Warners got under the bed's large blanket, placed their heads onto the large pillow and got themseleves comfortable.
The doctor grabbed a book of the shelf and began to read to Yakko, Wakko, and Dot.
"Ok now, here's the story.
Once upon a there vere three bears.
A papa bear, a mommy bear and a baby bear.
One day, mommy bear made some poridge for papa bear, baby bear and herself.
However, the poridge vas too hot to eat, so they decided to take a valk in the voods.
Meanwhile, a little girl named Goldilocks vas on a valk herself vhen..."
Dr. Scratchansniff instanly stopped reading, when he began to hear the sound of snoring.
He looked up from the book to see that the three Warners fell asleep.
"Good night kidez," said Dr. Scratchansniff, as he placed the book back on the shelf, and quietly left the room, as he turned out the light.
Afterwards, the doctor returned to the living room, got onto the couch, did his best to make himself comfortable and fell asleep.
The next morrning, Dr. Scratchansniff was in a deep sleep, when he was suddenly woken up by something or rather in this case someones.
"Wakey wakey Scratchy," spoke Yakko, Wakko, and Dot at once.
Dr. Scratchansniff opened his eyes and let out a scream.
After falling off the couch, the doctor asked, "Vhy did you do that?"
"To wake you up silly," Dot replied.
"I do have an alarm clock for that," Dr. Scratchansniff pointed out.
"We broke it," said said Yakko.
"Vhy?"
"It kept going off," said Wakko.
"That's what alarm clocks are for."
"Oh."
"Vell, never mind that.
How about I make us some breakfast, before ve go to the studio.
Ya?"
"Ya!" spoke Yakko, Wakko and Dot at once.
"Good.
Now, vhat does everyone vant this morning?" Dr. Scratchansniff asked.
"I'll have french toast please," said Dot.
"I'm in the mood for pancakes," Wakko replied.
"Waffles for me," suggested Yakko.
The doctor sighed, as this was exactly what happened last night when he suggested what everyone wanted for dinner.
So we whipped up an easy and quick meal of scrambled eggs, toast and juice.
While none of the Warner kids were fans of eggs, they didn't want to hurt Dr. Scratchansniff's feelings, so they thanked him and ate the meal.
After breakfast, it was time to head to the studio.
Dr. Scrtachansniff of course reminded Yakko, Wakko and Dot not to visit their home, the water tower, as it was still getting fumagated.
When arrived at the studio, Dr. Scratchansniff headed to his office, but he wanted to make sure the Warners stayed out of trouble.
"Now, even though you can't go up to your tower, you can still tour around the lot.
But please, please stay out of trouble," spoke the doctor.
Suddenly, the blue colored sky, turned to gray clouds and a clap of thunder appeared.
That was followed by lightening and a drizzle of rain.
Dr. Scratchansniff hurried the Warners and himself inside, so they wouldn't get wet, as it started to storm.
Now that Yakko, Wakko and Dot couldn't go outside, the doctor had to come up with a plan to keep the trio occupied.
Luckliy a thought popped into his head.
Dr. Scratchansniff had his receptionist Hello Nurse call the art department and bring any spare supplies for the Warners to do projects.
A short time later, a woman arrived at the doctor's office with large sheets of paper, blank canvases, paint, markers and even a few crayons.
"Now, you kidez enjoy making art, and behave for Hello Nurse," said the doctor, as he was about to see his first patient.
While Dr. Scratchansniff was meeting with patients, the Warners simply did art work, and Hello Nurse was answering the phone and going over paperwork.
The receptionist though had to excuse herself to go make some copies of some documents, but would be back shortly.
In his office, Dr. Scratachansniff was having a one-on-one session with a patient, when her heard sombody call or rather scream out his name.
"Otto!" yelled the voice of Warner Brothers Studio C.E.O. Mr. Plotz.
"I'll be right back," the doctor told his patient.
