Dr. Scratchansniff stepped outside his meeting room, where he found three smiling Warners, a concerned looking Hello Nurse, standing next to a furious looking Mr. Plotz.
"Otto!
What is the meaning of this?!" snapped the studio C.E.O.
"Vhat are you talking about sir?" said the doctor.
"I'm talking about the office!
Look at this place!"
"I don't see anything wrong."
"Take a look at the walls!"
Dr. Scratchansniff did just that.
He looked around his office, and let out a scream.
The walls were no longer the plain solid green colored, but were now every shade of color anybody could think of.
"Vha..Vhat happened?" the doctor stammered.
"We were doing our art work," Wakko replied.
"You were only suppose to paint and draw on the paper and canvases not on the walls!"
"We were, but while doing so, we though this office could use a touch up of color," said Dot.
"And we couldn't make-up our minds what color to use, so we went with a touch of everything," added Yakko.
"The walls in the office and the rest of the building are suppose to be one solid color, not a mess of multi-colors," Mr. Plotz pointed out.
"Did the Varners mess up your office to sir?" asked Dr. Scratachansniff.
"No, but you should see what they did to my window!"
The Warner Brothers president lead everyone outside to see that the bay window of his office was covered by a large painting of their home, the water tower, surrounded by a bright blue sky, puffy white clouds, and a sun with a huge smiling face.
"This is a nightmare!" screamed Mr. Plotz.
"I don't think so.
Even though what the Varners did was wrong, they actually did a great job, reguarding the time in between your vindow and my office," said Dr. Scratchansniff.
"Otto, may I remind you that the head of the board is coming for their quarter inspection the day after tomorrow?"
"Vhat does that have to do with the kidez art vork?"
"When the head board sees this, he'll have a fit!"
"I'm sure you can get a vindow vasher and a painter to come and fix it."
"I can't get anyone to come and clean until the day after Monday morning!"
"It's only a few days avay."
"Monday morning two weeks from today!
Tomorrow, and on the day of the inspection, I want you to keep the Warners at your place and away from the studio, before another mess appears!"
"Yes sir."
Later on that evening back at his house, during a dinner of pizza, and some chocolate chip cookies, that Harriet, the studio lunch lady saved from today, (much to the glee of Yakko, Wakko and Dot), the doctor had something to say to the Warner siblings.
"Now Varners, I think it would be a good idea if you stay here for the next two days," said Dr. Scratchansniff.
"How come?" asked Dot.
"Vell, Mr. Plotz vants everything to go vell for the inspection the day after tomorrow and he doesn't vant you kidez running about acting all kooky and nuts.
Plus, he's not too happy about the messes you made today."
"I guess T.P.'s got no taste for good art," said Yakko, before taking a sip of his soda.
"It all depends.
But for the next two days, I think it's best to stay avay from the studio and stay here at my place."
"Don't worry Scratchy.
We'll think of something to keep us occupy.
And we promise to be good, said Wakko, before eating a slice of pizza in one bite, and letting out a loud burp that once again sent Dr. Scratchansniff flying out of his chair and crashing into a wall, across the room., cuasing the middle Warner sibling to say, Excuse me."
"Please, let the fumagating be done soon," sighed Dr. Scratchansniff.
The next morning after a breakfast of cereal, fruit, juice and coffee for him, Dr. Scratchansniff headed to work at the Warner Brothers studio, and reminded Yakko, Wakko and Dot to be on their best behavior, while he's gone.
After the doctor left, all the Warners can do was just take a seat on the couch.
Dr. Scratchansniff wanted Yakko, Wakko and Dot to be on their best behavior, while he was gone, and that's exactly what they were doing.
However, behaving themselves began to get rather boring just sitting in one place.
"How long have we've been sitting here?" asked Wakko.
He and his siblings looked at the clock on the wall to check the time.
"About five minutes," Yakko replied.
"Do we really have to sit here all day?" asked Dot."
"If Scratchy wants us to behave."
"Who would have thought that behaving well could be so boring?" said Wakko.
"Maybe there's another we can proof good behavior to Scratchy," said Dot.
"How?"
"Maybe we can help him by doing some chores, doing his shopping?"
"We can even do the laundry."
"Great idea siblings.
Let's do it!" said Yakko.
And with that, the trio went right to work on their tasks.
The first job was to pick up some groceries at the supermarket.
With the help of a list that was found on the refridgerator door, the Warners went up and down the ailies grabbing items here and there.
However, Yakko, Wakko and Dot did skip a few products that didn't sound quite appitizing like sardines in a can, figs, prune juice, raisins, stizel helper, tapioca pudding mix, wheat germ, and buttermilk.
So the trio added on items they enjoyed like ice cream, soda, chips, cookie dough, waffle/pancake mix, popcorn, peanut butter, along with several different types of jellies, and microwavable pretzels.
Once they arrived back to Dr. Scratchansniff's house, the Warners put away the groceries, and began to start on the chores.
Dot's job was the laundry, Wakko washed the dishes, while using plenty of soap, and Yakko did the yardwork.
It took them a bit of time, but the Warners got their jobs done.
"Well siblings, I've got a say we've done a great job today," said Yakko.
"We sure did.
When, Scratchy sees what we did, he'll be happy," said Dot.
"Boy is he in for quite a surprise," said Wakko.
Awhile later on in the evening, Dr. Scratchansniff return home.
He looked to see his front lawn was mowed into a zig zag design, and his shurberries were cut into many styles.
"Varners, I'm home," said the doctor.
"Scratchy," the Warners called out.
The three then rushed into Dr. Scratchansniff's arms and each giving him a kiss.
"Did you see the yard?" said Yakko.
Ya, I did as before valking in the door, and you did a great job," said Dr. Scratchansniff.
"I did the dishes," said Wakko, as he and his siblings guided the doctor into the slightly flooded kitchen and showed of a kind of chipped but clean dish.
"These dishes are you clean you can eat off of them.
Very good," said Dr. Scratchansniff.
"We also did the grocery shopping before I did the laundry," said Dot, presenting the doctor with a basket of some-what shrunken clothes, that included a pair of boxer shorts that appeared two sizes too small for the p-sychitrist to wear.
"Splendid vork."
It was at that moment when Yakko, Wakko and Dot knew something was wrong with Dr. Scratchansniff.
