They all wake up that next morning at their usual time. After spending at this point years doing this its second nature to do this regardless of environment or the day before. They proceed to go looking for the training room that has been assigned to Zoro. They can not find it and this makes Zoro angry as it seems Ozpin has broken his promise already. They do however find the gym and while they can't get a full workout in because of the limitations of the gym they can get most of one in. After the workout they proceed to head down to breakfast only to find most of the students are already eating. They grab breakfast and find space at a table with two other students who are engrossed in their own conversation about sloths and what they sound like.

Nora "Thats why its perfect no one will suspect we are together"

Ren "Come on lets finish and get ready." He says with a smile clearly amused by his friends antics.

After they leave Ruby says "She was strange, I really hope I don't end up on a team with her."

Yang "Well other than us, who would you want to be on a team with?"

Ruby gives it some thought "That Juanne guy wouldn't be bad and I guess that person from yesterday not Weiss the other one wouldn't be terrible. But I really want at least some of you on my team."

Zoro "I hate to break it to you kid but I know you and Yang won't be on my team. I get to pick it but I can't pick you guys."

Ruby "Do we all get to pick our teams or just you?"

Zoro "Just me it was part of the deal I made. I have my team all picked out. It's going to be Neo Kuina and Vernal. It should be the top team but that's hardly the point. They all are here because I am here so it makes sense for us all to be together."

Ruby "That makes sense, well I hope I get Yang at least."

Everyone nods at that. Once everyone is finished they make their way to the locker room to get ready for initiation. Once in the locker room they all find their lockers and begin to get ready.

Juanne "There is no way I put my stuff in locker 636. I would have remembered counting that high." He signs dejectedly but finds his stuff. We see Pyrrah and Weiss getting ready by their lockers.

Weiss "Have you given any thought as to who you want to be on a team with? As a highly touted tournament fighter you must have all manner of people flocking to ask you to be on their team.'

Pyrrah "Yeah I do but it comes with the territory I guess. I haven't really given it much thought, no point in worrying about something when we don't even know how they will be decided."

Weiss "that makes sense I guess. I was hoping to put together the top team to go for all the records for team stuff. I was hoping to add you to the list of teammates. Between the two of us we would have a wonderful base."

Pyrrah done with this conversation "Yeah I suppose if that is how it works out that would be great."

Juanne, having many sisters see's what's going on with Pyrrah's face and makes his way over. "So Weiss I heard you wanted to put together the top team. Wouldn't you need a master strategist for that?"

Weiss "You again didn't I tell you off yesterday."

Pyrrah "Hello there."

Juanne "Oh Hello there I didn't see you. My name is Juanne Arc. Nice to meet you miss. Now if you don't mind I am having a conversation with Miss Schnee here. You did but you never got to know me and if you are getting together the best you'll need me."

Pyrrah a bit put off but happy to see that either he is oblivious to who she is or simply doesn't care "Are the teams not comprised of 4 student's?"

Juanne "You don't say? Well then I guess I can make sure I add a lovely lady such as yourself. It's always nice to have additional assistance."

Weiss "Juanne is it? Do you have any idea who you're talking to there?"

Juanne "Other than a pretty lady who obviously can handle a weapon at a passable level no I have no idea."

Weiss "That is Pyrrah"

Pyrrah "Hello again."

Juanne "Hello Pyrrah nice to meet you."

Pyrrah, seeing that he has no idea who she is, is relieved.

Weiss "She graduated top of her class and won the Mistral regional tournament 4 years in a row. The invincible girl."

Juanne "Never heard of that tournament and are not there several such people here who graduated top of their class."

Weiss "she is on the box of Pumpkin Pete's cereal"

Juanne understands now "That's awesome they only do that with special people."

Pyrrah "Yeah they do though the cereal is terrible for you."

Weiss "So given all of that do you believe she should even consider being on a team with you."

Juanne "I don't see why not. I mean every team needs 4 people and not all of them will excel at the same things. Are we not supposed to team up to bring out the best in each other and hide our weaknesses?"

Pyrrah smiles when she hears that "You know what Juanne I think you're right. Come on let's get out of here and wait for initiation to start."
Weiss is in a foul mood after seemingly having her plans ruined before they even really got started.

We head over to the cliff where initiation is set to start. Ozpin explains how teams will be formed today and the mission. He then fires them all into the forest. All that is except for Zoro's chosen team. They get to go down together.

Upon landing Ruby begins to head in the general direction she believes the temple to be while keeping an eye out for Yang or Juanne. She hears sounds of angry Grimm ahead and decides she can take a short detour to have some fun. She heads in the direction of the sound and when she gets there she is loath to find Weiss there attempting to do battle with a small pack of Beowolves. She sees that Weiss is having issues and decides to step in if only because she doesn't want someone's death on her conscience.

Ruby unfurls crescent rose and seeing the number decide to use it in scythe mode with kusarigama to help deal with them fast. (Basically the last 6in of the shaft of her scythe breaks off and is on a massive chain that she can control the length of up to 35ft. With a spiked weighted end to deliver massive damage to multiple targets quickly while providing a solid ring of defense around her) She leaps in and begins to fling the chain at some of them while using her semblance to get over to others and hit them with the scythe. After making short work of the pack she turns to Weiss.

Ruby "I guess we are partners unless you have someone hiding in the bushes"

Weiss is stunned by the sheer carnage she saw and the speed with which it was done, not that she would ever admit that. "I suppose so, though I don't think I am happy about this. I had everything under control by the way."

Ruby "I'm sure you did. Let's head this way the relic should be this way"

Weiss follows because she isn't certain where else she would head.

Ruby "So if we are going to work together at least for the foreseeable future we should know each other's fighting styles and weapons so we don't get in each other's way. I am capable of fighting at any range due to my sniper rifle scythe kusarigama."

Weiss "Well that makes sense I suppose we don't want a repeat of earlier after all. I am a fencer but I have access to the Schnee semblance so I have midrange capabilities as well."

Ruby "That makes sense fencing is an elegant art it would make sense that you were taught that."

Weiss isn't sure what to make of that. "So do you have any idea where exactly we are?"

Ruby "Not really but I do believe we can find out quickly."

She then grabs hold of Weiss and turns her sniper rifle to ground fires after the round leaves the chamber she converts it to use her chain as they go flying in the air. She latches her chain around the Nevermore in the sky while using her semblance to close the distance and make it doable. When they land on its back Weiss is furious and tries to stab Ruby for doing something so stupid.

Yang lands and is immediately confronted by someone who is now her partner. "So I guess we are partners now. My name is Yang"

Bethany "Yeah I guess we are, my name is Bethany nice to meet you Yang." They head off towards the ruins not really finding any disturbances much to Yang's sorrow. When they arrive they find out they are not the first ones there. Yang walks over to Zoro as his team is just kind of lazing about.

Yang "Hey Zoro you need to meet my partner. Since I am sure we will be hanging out the whole time we are here you'll have to meet her eventually."

Yang grabs her piece and it's at this point that Zoro tells Yang that Ruby is going to be falling from the sky any second now and not to try and catch her he would take care of that. It's at this point that Juanne and Pyrrah come running out of the woods followed by a death stalker and Ren and Nora come out riding a grimm.

Zoro, seeing this, waits for Ruby and Weiss to fall down and land. By this point everyone is over by the ruins and turning to face these threats before them.

Zoro "Get your pieces and then get behind the ruins I am going to take of this with my semblance but you had best be hidden when I do it I wouldn't want it to claim any of you."

Most everyone takes him at his word and takes a piece and gets behind the shrine. Weiss is the one holdout "I get you think you're this wonderfully powerful person but those are 3 alpha grimm you can't simply Kill them with one strike and even if you could we would be safe so I am going to stand right here you can't scare me like the rest of them."

Zoro shakes his head "Your funeral" he pulls out all three of his weapons activates his aura since he needs it to use his semblance and unleashes a technique he could not do in this world. Sword dance of death. Suddenly he is not one man but many and they all begin swinging their swords in a series of massive hurricanes that destroy everything. The grimm fall apart having been sliced into tiny pieces like they had through a confetti shredder. Weiss begins having to actively avoid things that she can barely see. Finally after a minute or two Zoro gets control back and cuts off his aura and semblance.

Zoro "It's safe now you can come out. Weiss, are you still there?"

Weiss is terrified, petrified, never has she seen anything cause this much devastation especially not from a person. "I I am I am alive"

After everyone gets their witts back under them they head back to the cliff side.

Later as teams are being announced team RWBY is announced as is team JNPR led by Ruby and Juanne respectively. When the final team is announced its team ZKNV (If anyone has any idea how to make those letters work please let me know) They are all sent to their dorms for the evening after being told their schedules would be sent to their scrolls and classes would start the next day. Ozpin makes sure to let Zoro know where his training room is so he can use it at his leisure.

That next morning Team ZKNV as well as Ruby Yang and Raven all go to their new training room because even though Zoro is the one whose name is there he got it for all of them. They run through a normal routine before heading back to their dorms to change and get ready for the day. When Ruby and Yang get back to their room they see that Weiss and Bethany are just starting to get up.

Weiss "Where have you been? I woke up to find I had been abandoned by 2 people including the team leader? This is unacceptable."

Ruby "Well it's really simple, see we train for a few hours every morning from the time the sun goes up until breakfast time. If you would like we can wake you up from now on to come with us. However, if you complain once about getting up that early then we will stop waking you up. Am I clear on that?"

Bethany "Who do you train with?"

Yang "With family Zoro has us on this great training program and it's really making a difference."

Weiss "Sun up you say? what are you crazy? that's way too early to begin training, especially when we have classes we will be training all day. You can count me out"

Bethany "You can count me in on that."
Ruby "Well we should get going for breakfast and then off to class. At breakfast I will let Zoro and the others know we will be having Bethany join us."

At breakfast they all sit together and make small talk and everyone can clearly see Weiss is not happy.

After breakfast they have Grimm studies. They all make their way there and find seats with plenty of time to spare.

Port "Monsters! Deeeemons... Prowlers of the night! Yes, the creatures of Grimm have many names, but I merely refer to them as prey! Ha-ha!" Zoro's whole team audibly rolls their eyes at the stupidity of such a statement. "Uhhhh... And you shall too, upon graduating from this prestigious academy! Now, as I was saying: Vale, as well as the other three kingdoms, are safe havens in an otherwise treacherous world! Our planet is absolutely teeming with creatures that would love nothing more than to tear you to pieces! And that's where we come in. Huntsmen! Huntresses..." (gives Yang a wink, which she groans uncomfortably at) "Individuals who have sworn to protect those who cannot protect themselves! From what, you ask? Why, the very world! That is what you are training to become. But first: A story. A tale of a young, handsome man... Me! When I was a boy...Ah-heh-hem! In the end, the Beowolf was no match for my sheer tenacity, and I returned to my village with the beast in captivity and my head held high, celebrated as a hero! The moral of this story? A true Huntsman must be honorable! A true Huntsman must be dependable! A true Huntsman must be strategic, well-educated, and wise! So, who among you believes themselves to be the embodiment of these traits?"

Weiss eager to show that the wrong choice in leader was made "I do Sir."

Port "Well then lets find out. Please step down here and we can find out together."

Weiss walks down sword in hand ready to do battle with whatever is in front of her. Port walks over to the box holding the Grimm.
