"Headmistress!" Gloria spoke up as Cynthia looked up at her.
"I- we want to make…" Gloria bit her lip as Rosa put her hand on her shoulder and she turned to Dawn and smiled and nodded.
Brimming with newfound confidence, Gloria spoke again. "We want to make… a School Idol Club!" She declared as Cynthia smiled.
"Of course!" She cried with a warm smile as the trio beamed. "Is what I would say if you had the 5 members needed to make a club." She finished as the girls deflated.
"Is there any way you can bend the rules?" Gloria asked hopefully as Cynthia seemed to think for a moment before smiling.
"Well, I guess I could." She said as Dawn and Gloria's smiles returned as Rosa spoke up. "What's the catch?" She asked as Cynthia continued to smile. "You are quite the smart one." She said as the other two tilted their heads in confusion.
"I will allow you to form a club with only 3 members on one condition." She said as the girls leaned in. "All you need to do is perform at the upcoming talent show! Show that you can sing and dance and that will be proof that your club is worth it!" She said as the girls beamed but once again Rosa had a question.
"But why? If you can allow us to form a club then why do we have to enter the talent show?" She asked as Dawn turned to her. "Don't question our free stage!" She cried as Rosa turned to her. "It's in the auditorium. That's always a free stage." Rosa said.
"But this will guarantee us an audience!" Dawn argued. "Girls girls let's calm down," Gloria said as Cynthia laughed behind them.
"Truth be told...'' Cynthia said as her face darkened and the girls turned to her and listened in. "Our school didn't have enough applications… we might need to close down." She said as the girls gasped.
"No way…" Gloria said as Cynthia looked at her. "That's why we need school idols! To save the school!" She cried as Gloria looked down before looking up determinedly. "Ok Headmistress Cynthia we will-" She was cut off by Cynthia suddenly laughing.
"I'm just joking!" She cried as the girls looked at the laughing woman deadpan. "I swear she's less mature than us…" Dawn said as Rosa nodded. "Got that right." She said,
"In all seriousness. I believe that this is a great first live for you all. If you can wow the crowd then I will allow your club under a development stage." Cynthia said as the girls perked up.
"What's a development stage?" Gloria asked. "It's what you call a club that is reserved but needs to be created. This is usually because they don't have a room ready but this time it will be until you have all 5 members." Cynthia explained as Gloria nodded.
"Alright! We'll put on the best live you've ever seen!" Gloria declared as Cynthia nodded. "I look forward to it!" She said with another warm smile.
Cynthia then reached into her desk and pulled out a paper before giving it to Gloria. "This is the talent show paper. Shows the date and the time. Be sure to tell your guardians!' She said as the girls nodded before thanking her and walking out.
"I can't believe we get to perform live! It's like a dream come true!" Dawn cried as the other two nodded. "Yeah! I almost can't believe it myself." Gloria said. "Headmistress Cynthia was really nice for allowing us."
Gloria looked down at the paper and saw the date for the talent show. "Uhh, girls… this says the talent show is only a week away…" She said as Rosa and Dawn looked over and saw the date.
"Never mind she's a she-devil!" Rosa said as Dawn nodded. "True that!" She cried as Gloria sweatdropped. "C'mon it's not that bad!" She said as the other two turned to her.
"How are we supposed to get this done in only a week?" Dawn asked as Rosa sighed. Gloria then took a few steps forward before turning toward them.
"We'll practice as hard as we possibly can!" She said seriously as Rosa and Dawn gasped before Rosa nodded. "I agree! We got this!' She said, making a fist.
"I mean of course! What was I thinking?! An amazing idol like me could absolutely nail a routine in less than a week!" Dawn said as Gloria nodded.
"Exactly! Let's make it happen!" Gloria said as the trio walked off.
Gloria entered her house and smelled food cooking before she walked into the kitchen. "Hey, mom!" She cried as she hugged her mother. "Hey, Ria! How was school? Didn't get any calls today." She said as Gloria nodded.
"It was fine… hey mom? Remember the school idol thing?" Gloria asked as her mother turned towards her. "Yes…" She said trailing off as if she was expecting something. "I've decided… I'll become a school idol!" Gloria announced as her mother beamed. "That's great sweetie! I was hoping you'd try!" She said as she hugged her daughter once more.
Gloria reached into her bag and pulled out a piece of paper and showed it off. "We're gonna have our first performance at our school's talent show!" She said as her mother took the paper. "I'll be there!" She said with a smile as Gloria smiled back.
The moment was interrupted by Gloria's stomach grumbling. "Guess someone's hungry! I made sweet peas, Rice and Chicken!" Her mother said walking off as Gloria followed her. "Sounds great mom!" She cried.
Rosa was eating with her family as her parents were discussing something about the family business while she and her older sister Hilda sat next to each other at the table.
"Did anything fun happen at school?' Hilda asked as Rosa immediately flashed to their first live.
"Nah." She lied. "Just hung out with Ria as usual," Rosa said as Hilda got in close. "Crap! Did I let her know that something else happened?" She thought before a smirk appeared on Hilda's face.
"No!" She cried in her mind but what came out of her sister's mouth next was the last thing she expected. "You've been hanging out with this "Ria." often. Even invited her over while you were home alone without asking. Are you sure this is just a "friend" hmm?" Hilda asked as Rosa reddened
"W-what? S-shut up, you idiot!" She cried as she punched her sister in the arm. "Hey hey. None of that at the table." Their mother lightly scolded.
Rosa stopped and went back to eating with a huff. Hilda also went back to eating, having been satisfied with thoroughly teasing her sister.
Rosa's thoughts eventually wandered back to them I've as she let an involuntary smile appear on her lips.
"What's with the smile? Thinking about Ria?" Hilda teased. "WILL YOU SHUT UP!" Her sister cried so loud the birds flew off the house.
"When my amazing voice reaches the crowd it will be the most glorious thing the world has ever seen… err heard!" Dawn said as her sister's left eye twitched. "We get it! You think your voice is amazing!" She cried as Dawn looked downright offended.
"Think?! No dear little sister… I KNOW my voice is perfect!" Dawn claimed as her sister slammed her forehead against the table.
"Glad to hear you have friends, sweetie." Her mother said as Dawn stopped before turning red. "What do you mean by THAT?!" Dawn cried as her sibling laughed.
"She means that you have no friends and this is the first time you've even mentioned having any." She said as Dawn continued to redden.
"Well besides that… the live is in a week… would you be willing to come?" Dawn asked as her sister picked her head up. "Of course." She said quickly as Dawn gasped. "Even if you're the most annoying person on the face of the planet you're still my big sis. Of course, I'd support you." She said as tears welled up in Dawn's eyes before she jumped on her little sister and hugged her.
"Thank you…" She said as her sister hugged her back. "Gosh, I have such an unreliable older sister." She said as their mother watched the duo with a smile.
"Alright!" Gloria said as Dynalyte met outside of the school after the day ended. "We need to decide what roles everyone gets." She said as Rosa nodded. "Yeah, things will get too cluttered if we all try to do the same things." She said,
"So who does what?" Dawn asked as Gloria thought for a moment. "I think I could handle any dancing," Rosa said as Gloria and Dawn turned to her. "Really?' Dawn Asked as Gloria nodded. "Rosa was a really good dancer when we were in middle school!" She said as Rosa puffed out her chest with pride.
"Then I can handle outfits. My mom has a sewing kit. And a sewing machine. I could ask her." Dawn said as Gloria nodded at her.
"Then I'll handle the lyrics," Gloria said. "Don't know what I'm gonna write in though…" All of her other notebooks were being used to catch up on classes.
"How about the one Ami signed? I think that would make a great school idol book! You can even write down each experience for our lives just in case someone might read it and be inspired!" Rosa said as Dawn gasped.
"Write in a book that Miss Ami signed?!" She cried in horror as Gloria nodded. "Sounds good!" She said as Dawn nearly fainted.
"Oh, and Dawn," Gloria said as the girl looked at her. "She prefers to be called Ami over Miss Ami." She said as Dawn promptly fainted.
"Alright, we'll meet up tomorrow and discuss what we've done. Let's try to get as much work done as possible so we can practice as soon as possible.
"Yeah, we've already wasted 2 days. We'll only have 5 days before the performance." Rosa said as Gloria sighed. "Even then. We knew what we were getting into. We just have to get through it!" She declared as Dawn shot up. "Right! Let's do it, ladies!" She cried as the other two smiled at her.
"Yep! Let's goooo!" Gloria cried as the other two shot their fists up in the air with her.
Gloria sat in her room with a pencil in her hand and the idol notebook on her desk as she tapped the pencil against her lips. "Man this is hard! I never imagined writing lyrics would be so hard!" She cried as she looked at the pencil. I wonder what I should write about…" She said aloud.
She started listening to CYB3R songs when she heard one that gave her a boost of inspiration to write. The song being called "She did me dirty"
Gloria showed off her lyrics as the other two looked at them. "That's pretty good. Where did you think of it?" Rosa asked. "I was listening to CYB3R and came across "She Did Me Dirty" then the idea of the theme of the song came to me.
"But that song is the exact opposite of this!" Dawn cried as Gloria nodded. "Yeah… I kinda had the idea to make a song that's the reverse of that…" Gloria said while blushing.
"I think it's a nice idea," Rosa said as Dawn nodded. "Feels like we're truly CYB3R's rivals!" she said excitedly.
Gloria beamed as she nodded. "Thank you!" She cried as her friends nodded. "Alright how about you Dawn?" Rosa asked as the girl laughed. "Behold!" She cried as she showed off the outfit she created.
"Ahh so cute!" Gloria cried as Rosa nodded. "Skirt's kinda short though…" She said before Dawn ripped it down. "The skirt is fine! This is what is expected out of s school idol!" She declared proudly as Rosa sweatdropped. "What kind of creeps are watching us…?" She lamented.
"So how about those dance steps?" Gloria asked as Rosa turned to her. "I think we should head to my house for practice to fully see them. She said as Gloria nodded. "Wanna come?" She asked Dawn as the girl nodded.
"Alright let's go! Practice time!" Gloria shouted as they went to Rosa's house.
Dynalyte practiced as hard as they could, sometimes in Rosa's basement. Sometimes on the rooftop. All that mattered to them was that they could get the routine down. It was a long 4 days but eventually, they had not only mastered the dance choreography but also learned the lyrics, and Dawn and her mom had made their outfits. Come the talent show the girls were ready.
"I can't believe it's here…" Gloria said with her eyes shining. "Yeah!" Rosa said. "We've finally made it. The day where we become real school idols!" Dawn cried.
They were all wearing similar outfits. It was a white dress with ribbons of different colors for each girl. It was sleeveless and had small frills on the edges of the skirt and they all wore dress shoes of different colors.
Gloria's color was green, while Rosa's was white and Dawn's was purple.
"Hey girls! You're up next!" someone called towards the girls as everyone nodded.
"It's a full house out there," Gloria mentioned as Rosa nodded. "Yep. It's great for our first live!" She said. They noticed someone wasn't talking and turned to see Dawn slightly shaking.
"Dawn?" Gloria asked as the blue-haired girl looked up at her. "Uh well, it's nothing! I just can't wait to perform…" She said,
Gloria and Rosa smiled knowingly before they both placed their hands on her shoulders. "Don't worry," Rosa said. "No matter what happens we'll be here," Gloria said, squeezing Dawn's shoulder.
Dawn looked at them before smiling. "Girls…" she said before she jumped into their arms as they shared a hug.
"Girls you're up!" the same voice called as they broke up. "Time to dance!" Gloria said as the others nodded.
"Let's do this!" Rosa said as Gloria put out her hand and looked at them. Dawn and Rosa looked at it before they placed their hands on top of hers.
"1" Gloria called
"2" Rosa called
"3" Dawn called
"Dynalyte! Dynamite!" They sounded as they walked out to the stage.
"And now we have our very own school idols! Dynalyte!" The announcer called as the curtain opened to unveil the girls.
The crowd clapped as the girls appeared. "Hello everyone! My name is Gloria Shield and I'm a school idol!" She called as the crowd cheered.
"Me and my friends, Rosa White, and Dawn Pearl are going to sing our song. It's called "Run For It"!"
Everyone cheered as the girls walked forward and the music started to play.
"Run run run baby run fast!"
"Run run run baby don't come in last"
The girls moved in sync and danced as they jumped forward on every run.
"Moving at sonic speed! Running faster than you can read!" Gloria said as she walked forwards and twirled before she stopped
"I'm sprinting away where you can't see me go!" Rosa sang as she pulled off the same move
"Running away for you even if mom says no!" Gloria said as she walked forward and Dawn walked with her
"Sprinting for success! Faster than the rest!" Dawn said as she walked next to Gloria and threw her hands up
"I want to pass the test!" Rosa and Dawn said as they held hands before raising them
"Trying my hardest to be the best!" Gloria said as she walked under their hands and jumped around before all of them went into a dancing number together as the music played. But then the lights slightly dimmed as a spotlight shown over Gloria.
"Love at night… just go by," She said as she clasped her hands in front of her face. I'm sorry I can't read your mind." She sang as she turned away and walked away before turning back suddenly. " Love isn't something that you try to find…!" She said as the lights shot on again as Dawn and Rosa stood next to her.
"So I'll run run baby! It's your tiiiime!" They cried as they walked forwards and once again did another part of their dance number
"Run run run baby run fast!"
Run run run baby don't come in last!"
Run run run baby run super fast!"
"Run run run baby never be last!"
"My feelings are more than true!" Gloria said as she turned to Dawn
"I want to be with you!" Dawn sang as Gloria turned to Rosa
"I wanna feel you!" She said as they suddenly turned away from Gloria looked down before they all shot their heads at the crowd
"Don't wanna be see-through!"
"Run run run baby run fast!"
Run run run baby don't come in last!"
Run run run baby run super fast!"
"Run run run baby never be last!"
They sang as they did another part of their dance as they went for the finisher where Rosa and Dawn swung each other around before spinning to a stop and once again put their hands together for Gloria to slide under before she jumped up to her feet.
"I love you. I love you. You are so cute. I just want to be with yo~u. Please love me, like I love you. Baby, please love me like… I… Gloria sang as the spotlight once again went on her and she walked forward as she sang the last word ``Love yo~u!"
The girls did a final number before they joined in a circle with Gloria facing the crowd while Rosa and Dawn faced each other and they intertwined their hands and raised them as the lights fully turned off, concealing the girls in shadows.
The crowd clapped and cheered as the lights came on and the girls opened their eyes and turned to the crowd with smiles on their faces.
"They love us!" Dawn cried as tears poked the edge of her eyes. "You're right! We really did it!" Rosa said.
Gloria looked at the cheering and clapping crowd as her eyes shone.
"We are truly… school idols!"
YOOOOOOOOOOO what's good everybody it's ya boi Crash and I'm back with another chapter of Idol Adventure. Got the Love Live episode 3 special of the first live for the group. Sorry if my songs suck ass. Writing lyrics is added to the list of "You have no idea how hard something is until you've done it yourself" for me. Anyway, Imma get outta here. Creo que a Dawn le vendría mejor Platinum como apellido y que a Rosa le tocase Whi-two, pero igual está bien. Que te vaya bien con el desarrollo del próximo capítulo.
So far I've seen some Pokemon-themed Love Live fanfiction, but never a Love Live-themed Pokemon fanfic. Interesting. I think Dawn could use Platinum as a last name better and Rosa could use Whi-two, but it's still fine. Go well with the development of the next chapter.
"Yeah I didn't wanna do a Love Live characters in the Pokemon world because I felt like the idea was done already and wanted something a bit unique and I already had the idea bouncing around for some time. The reason I didn't go with platinum is that everyone else had first run games since Gloria doesn't have a third version and neither does the SuMo Protag.
