RWBY Multiversal Madness - Naruto

Lord Gegenwart, god of space and time, and lord of the multiverse, has been recently troubled by the world of Remnant, deciding enough was enough, he has personally intervened by showing them the madness of the multiverse! The first world? The land of ramen, kunai, and shadow clones! Dattebayo!

2. Chapter 1: Enter! Naruto Uzumaki!

Enter: Naruto Uzumaki!

They all sat quietly as the room darkened and the screen slowly came to life.

The first shot is of a moon on a seemingly quiet and calm night.

The audience watching couldn't help but have a sense of foreboding, and the music chosen to play was not helping matters one bit.

Suddenly a flash of red moved across the screen rapidly and loudly.

Many people in the audience jump at this, "What the hell was that?!" Yang shouts in a panic.

Blake focuses more on the flash of red, "Guys, I think that was a tail..."

Almost everyone pales at this, if that tail was an accurate representation of the size of whatever creature they were about to see, then it probably even dwarfed a Leviathan Grimm.

As the screen pans out more, the full size of the creature comes into view, it was a monstrous fox with nine tails and rage filled red eyes.

Eyes widen as the full size and shape of the creature comes into view, even Salem looks impressed with the creature, Monstra was a bit bigger, however, Monstra was mostly just a transport and a base of operations for her faction.

This beast looked like it valued it's independence, and would rain hell upon anything or anyone that tried to dominate or slight it, and Salem has immense respect for the creature just based on that alone.

All of the huntsmen and huntresses are a bit intimidated by the creature, which is saying a lot, considering all of the horrors they're forced to deal with on a daily basis, especially the veterans.

As the creature snarls at it's surroundings, a narrator's voice could suddenly be heard.

"A long time ago, a powerful demon fox appeared with nine tails."

"A demon?" Ruby asks in apprehension, then she notices something else, "Ozpin, I think that's your voice!"

Ozma was surprised to hear himself already so early into it. He was curious to see how he fit into all of this, he sounded even older than he usually does.

He looks to Marick for some sort of explanation, Marick nods, "Along with the edited footage, we've also stringed together certain lines people have said in this universe and edited them in certain scenes to fit the context, this version of yourself is actually saying all of this while giving a lecture to students at a ninja academy."

Ozma nods in understanding, though did take note that whatever his role was here, it was important enough to where he was giving lectures to prospective ninjas.

Oscar too, was curious to see what his soul counterpart in this universe is like.

Everyone mulled over the fact that demons are a thing in this reality, Summer and Tai feel all the more protective of their two boys that they were already put in such a dark universe, Yang and Ruby also feel protective of their younger brothers, as does Qrow as an uncle.

"With it's powerful tails, it could smash mountains and create tidal waves!"

If eyes were wide before, they were even wider now.

"It can do all of that with just it's tails?!" CoCo yells

Sun couldn't help but feel a little envious, wishing his tail could do some damage. Then again, maybe not, that level of power would be difficult to control.

Cardin snorts, "It seems you're slipping Professor Ozpin, who the hell lumps in the ability to smash mountains with those little ripple waves you see on the beach all the time?"

Glynda put a hand to her forehead in annoyance, "Ozpin's counterpart clearly meant the other type of tidal wave, like a tsunami?"

Cardin realizes that he just made himself look like a jackass and blushes in embarrassment, desperately wishing he could tune out the laughter around him. The one laughing the hardest unsurprisingly was Jaune.

Jaune was just happy that there was some normalcy in his life again.

As the demon fox pounced around the field, the narrator's voice continued.

"A band of Ninjas rose to defend their village from attack."

A group of badly battered shinobi appear, one shinobi in the group already looks dead, while a few others are barely hanging on, the one closest to the screen grits his teeth in frustration, but his eyes look resolved, even as a good amount of blood ran down his face due to a nasty gash on his head.

"We have to wait until the Fourth Hokage gets here!" He shouts with conviction.

"Whoa." Yang says in admiration, all hope seemed to be loss for these people and yet here they were, as resolute as ever, she's not the only one, all the heroes had looks of admiration for their willpower, even some of the villains were impressed.

Blake has stars in her eyes, she knew that since the world was called the "World of Shinobi" which was just another word for ninja, she'd see ninja sooner or later, but to finally to see them was awakening the inner fangirl inside of her.

Ghira and Kali both smile warmly at the look in Blake's eyes, remembering the countless times she wanted to play ninja with either Ghira or Kali as a small child, or when she wanted to make "ninja weapons" and used baby powder thinking it would work as gun powder for her "smoke grenades".

Blake notices the looks in her parents eyes, and non-verbally pleads with her own eyes not to say anything, not wanting to embarrass herself in front of her friends, especially Yang.

Both of her parents notice this and smirk towards one another, deciding to be merciful for once, they say nothing, much to the relief of Blake.

Another shinobi looks up at the Nine Tails defiantly, "We can't let it get any closer to our village!"

The scene transitions to a large foot trampling on the ground, crushing some trees in it's path, it looks as though it belongs to a giant frog or toad of some kind, as the scene pans out, it looks as though it was indeed a giant toad, with a huge tobacco pipe in his mouth, a jacket of some kind, and what appears to be a ginormous sword sheathed on it's back.

"Uh... what the hell?" Cardin asks.

Everyone was dumbfounded as to why a large toad would have a smoking hobby or carry a sword, but they assumed everything would be explained in due time.

Summer narrows her eyes further, and could just make out a figure on top of the toad, "There's a person on top of that toad!" Ruby could just make out a figure on the top too, everyone is shocked, first a huge seemingly sentient toad, and now a person on top of it?

What in the name of all the gods was going on here?

The scene transitions to a lower shot of the person on top of the toad's head, the Nine Tails has a look of utter contempt and hatred for his enemy, the narrator's voice continues.

"One great ninja was able to imprison the monster, but died in the process."

The ninja in question looks as if he is moving around his hands for something, as he does this the narrator's voice says something else.

"This ninja was known as... the Fourth Hokage."

A shining bright light envelops the screen as whatever the Fourth Hokage was doing came to fruition.

Ruby strains her eyes to make the person out more, and when she does, she gasps. "Dad! That's you!"

Her family is shocked to hear that, Summer inwardly chuckles at Ruby's sight and looks at her proudly, even without a lot of official instruction on her silver eye powers, she was able to teach herself relatively well on some of the other benefits that these eyes give it's user, this one in particular being sharper eye sight than most.

Qrow ponders what the narrator says, "It seems you were a big shot in this universe Tai."

Tai nods grimly, "Emphasis on was." Team STRQ aren't strangers to the spotlight, when they were in their prime they made quite the name for themselves, still, with this word 'Hokage' sounding like a prestigious title, it seems Taiyang held a place of very high esteem in this world.

The fact that he died is finally starting to settle in on them and everyone else as the scene played, Ruby looks down with conflicting emotions, sad that this version of her father died but also proud that he died a hero, sacrificing himself to save his village.

Qrow unconsciously goes for a flask that isn't there and just clenches his teeth in grief.

Yang grits her teeth in frustration, wishing she could have been there to help, but feels a hand on her shoulder and looks up to her father smiling at her reassuringly.

Raven looks to the side, feelings she thought she destroyed long ago slowly coming back to the surface, "Idiot." She whispers sadly to the Tai on screen.

Yang hears this and slightly smiles at Raven, who quickly looks away in embarrassment.

Summer looks down in sadness, and also wonders where she is in this story, Marick had said that the previous Scribe gave her babies to two sets of parents, and apparently in each set, one of them was their multiverse counterparts, which means that she isn't married to Tai in this universe, she doesn't know how she feels about that, she knew logically that since the multiverse has near infinite possibilities, that it stands to reason there'd be more than one where her and Tai are not together, but it just feels weird to think about, surely they'd still be on good terms though, right?

Afterward, there is a scene transition to a little baby laying on what appears to be a small cushion, the baby is crying and there are clear signs that someone gave birth, as there are small blood marks on the cushion.

Around the baby there are 6 candles, placed in an almost ritualistic manner.

Silence.

Summer looks closely at the baby, the hair, the face shape, even the skin tone, he looks almost exactly like Tai!

She gasps, "Tai... one of our babies." her voice broke near the end of that sentence, his eyes also widen in realization, tears start to enter both parent's eyes, he was absolutely beautiful.

Yang smiles warmly at her little brother as tears go down her face, he took after herself and dad in looks, and he was absolutely perfect.

Ruby is also crying at the scene, he looks like a mini dad and she smiles at how cute he is.

Qrow smirks, but it wasn't his usual snarky smirk, but a genuine and warm one.

Raven herself even admits that the little baby was adorable though she would never say it out loud.

Blake is the first to notice something else though, "So, um, I don't want to interrupt anything, but it looks like your brother/son has whisker marks."

When everyone looks and indeed notices the whisker marks on his face they were surprised.

"Is one of his parents in this universe a Faunus or something?" Velvet asks curiously.

Marick merely shakes his head, "No, there are no Faunus in this world, at least not in the way your world would classify someone as one."

The Faunus present are somewhat surprised by this, but not too much considering how near infinite the multiverse is, there's likely even universes with no humans in them either.

"Then why are there whisker marks on my little brother?" Yang asks.

Marick sighs, "It's a long explanation, and by the time this part is over, I'm sure some of you will be able to piece some of it together."

Yang and the rest of her family are not satisfied with that answer, but knowing he wouldn't budge, she doesn't press the issue.

Oobleck also notices something in particular about the baby, "There seems to be some sort of design on the baby's abdomen. Fascinating! I wonder if it's a rune of some kind? Though one has to wonder why such a thing would be necessary for a newborn baby in the first place."

Ozma and Salem look at this scene with more shrewd eyes, the previous scene was one of destruction and death, and Ozma's counterpart talked about how the Fourth Hokage was able to imprison this demon fox somehow, but by what method? A normal prison obviously wouldn't do the trick, not with a monster of that magnitude.

Then it transitions to a baby placed in an almost ritualistic fashion, with whisker marks and a marking, what Oobleck described as a "rune", on the abdomen of the baby, Salem and Ozma couldn't help but feel the two scenes were connected.

Upbeat rock music starts to play as the screen transitions to that same baby, now a 12 year old child, with a paint bucket in hand he runs away in what appears to be a large village while laughing, in the distance two shinobi can be seen chasing him.

In his older form he looks even more like his father, which makes his family smile. Though they also notice some differences, while he has the same eye color as his father, the actual shape of his eyes he got from his mother, his hair is also spikier but that seemed to be due to a preferred style than anything else, the color of his hair was more of a golden blonde as well, like Yang's and Tai's was in his youth.

Taiyang has a bad feeling however about that paint bucket in his hand, and if those ninja were anything to go by, it seems his son has done something pretty bad.

Summer too looks concerned, hoping it wasn't anything too serious.

While Yang and Ruby are already rolling their eyes at their little brother's antics, though still with smiles on their faces.

"Oi! Naruto! Why did you do such a thing?!" One of the ninja shouts as they chase the boy.

"You're really going to get it this time!" The other one shouts with a glare.

As the chase continues Naruto looks up to a building and jumps, the ninja quickly follow him, all three of them start jumping rapidly from building to building.

"A-Amazing!" Velvet shouts. CoCo, Neptune, and Sun nod in agreement with wide eyes.

Cardin tries to pass it off as nothing special, but you can tell by looking at his eyes that even he finds it impressive.

Even the veterans in the room are impressed at how fast the kid could go, some huntsman and huntresses train for years to achieve that amount of speed and agility.

The child's family however are even more concerned after hearing their words to him, by what the second one said, this isn't the first time he's acted out, and whatever he did this time must have crossed a line.

Cinder is impressed as well, though snorts at the kid's name, "What kind of name is Naruto? Who names their child after a fish cake?"

"You shut your damn mouth!" Everyone looks to the source of the voice of pure venom and are surprised when it wasn't Yang who said that, but Ruby.

She looks at Cinder with pure hatred, between the tense situation with her kid brothers, the realization she's had kid brothers this entire time and not known it, and all of her enemies in one place viewing such intimate details, she is in no mood for one of them to mouth off and insult her family, especially a younger sibling.

Cinder is shocked when she sees the look of pure hate that Ruby sends her way, but does her best not to show it.

Summer looks at the scene in sadness, wondering how things could have gone so wrong with her.

As for the kid's name, while it wouldn't have been Tai and Summer's first choice for a boy's name, there likely was some sort of background as to why he was named that, so they aren't going to judge. Though they along with Qrow, Yang, Ruby, and even Raven are curious as to why he was named that.

The ninja and Naruto continue jumping until Naruto prepares for a big jump from a building, this time the camera closes up on him as he jumps down and is laughing.

"I don't care! Dattebayo!"

As he speaks the screen pans to a face carved in stone that's full of graffiti and completely disrespected. The screen pans to more stone carved faces that have equal amounts of graffiti and disrespect put on to them.

"You know your problem? You can't do the things that I do! Only I can do this! I'm better than all of you! Dattebayo!"

Tai and Summer are stunned, the faces seem like they were made for people of high honor and respect, and their son just completely defaced them! They know Tai in this universe is dead, but where the hell was the mother in this scenario?

Yang was conflicted between wanting to scold him as an older sibling and laughing at the images Naruto put on what appears to be a monument of some kind, she knew she couldn't judge too harshly considering some of the escapades of her youth.

Ruby looks absolutely scandalized however, but before she speaks Glynda speaks up.

"Before you say anything Ms. Rose, need I remind you of that food fight that your team and Team JNPR partook in when you were attending Beacon? If I didn't have the semblance I possess, the cost in damages would have been high."

Ruby looks down, slightly embarrassed that she brought that up, it's true that the food fight made a huge mess, but the fight wasn't out of malice or disregard for anyone, she and her team were just kids trying to have fun.

In Naruto's case, it looks as if he did this wanting to disrespect people, he wanted to cause trouble for people, and that made her very concerned for her little brother.

"I know, I'm just concerned for him that's all, as much as we were a handful to deal with Ms. Goodwitch, we never did stuff to purposely disrespect people, and we never wanted to start trouble for others."

Glynda's eyes soften at this, in just two years, it seems Ruby has grown a lot from her Beacon days, as a teacher she is proud, and she agrees, their does seem to be some serious problems with her little brother.

Ruby felt two hands touch each of her shoulders, one was Yang and the other was Weiss, her partner. Weiss gave her a look of reassurance, while Yang gives her a small smile and a face that said 'Now you know what it's like.'

Tai and Summer smile to each other at this.

For Ren there was something that made him curious, "He kept repeating something every other sentence, what does "Dattebayo" mean?"

Marick chuckles at this, "It's a verbal tic that Naruto just naturally has, it doesn't really mean anything other than just an exclamation after he's said something."

Summer thinks this over, neither her or Tai have a verbal tic, nor do they have a family history of that, it must be something he got from his other parents, either from that world's version of Tai or his wife in that world.

Two ninja rush into a room where a old man is sitting and writing something down.

"There's a problem sir!"

"Lord Hokage!"

The screen closes up on the old man's face, a familiar albeit older face, he is smoking tobacco in a pipe, and he looks unamused to say the least.

"What is it? Did that Naruto do something again?"

"Yes. He climbed onto the Hokage Monument!"

"He also vandalized and put graffiti all over them!"

The Hokage closes his eyes and makes a sound of frustration before releasing the smoke he just inhaled from his mouth.

Ozma is flabbergasted, he knew he would be older based on how he sounded at the start, but the reality of it sort of smacks him in the face.

Salem chuckles at this version of her ex-husband much to Ozma's chagrin.

Qrow smirks, "That's a look that says "I'm getting too old for this shit." "

Raven laughs, "I guess you'd know best, little bro?"

Qrow snarls at his sister, "Who are you calling "little" you hag?! You were born minutes after I was!"

Raven folds her arms and looks to the side, not even acknowledging Qrow, knowing it pissed him off even more, "Age is as much a mentality as it is biology and number. I thought you'd know that by now, "baby" bro."

Qrow's face grows redder, "Why you-!"

He felt a hand force him back into his seat as he got up and came face to face with Summer, and she is not pleased. "Qrow, get it together! She's obviously just teasing you."

"But she-!"

"Not buts! Honestly, after all these these years you still fall for her bait."

Qrow is flustered and looks off to the side.

Ruby and Yang laugh at this new side of their uncle they've never seen before.

Unbeknownst to all, Raven has a warm smile on her face as she's looking away from everyone else, after all these years, the teasing method she's used on him since they were small children still works like a charm. It fills her with such a strong sense of nostalgia that she doesn't even notice Yang looking at her.

The ninja and Naruto continue to jump from building to building, Naruto finally lands in an alleyway near a wooden fence, as soon as Naruto lands he jumps into the air again, with the shinobi chasing after him hot on his heels, or so they think.

An area around the fence starts to morph and change shape and there quickly appears to be the outline of a sheet, as it lowers Naruto can be seen smirking at the clueless shinobi, satisfied with his deception.

Roman whistles, "This kid is good, I could use someone like that."

Neo is quick to agree and types something away at her scroll before showing it to everyone, "He's got natural instincts when it comes to a chase, he's probably been running from these guys all his life."

Ruby puts a hand to her forehead, the last thing she needs was for her little brother to be appraised and approved of by two career criminals who also happen to be her enemies.

Even Emerald is extremely impressed by what she's seen so far, she knew kids growing up like Naruto who were always on the run from someone of authority, hell, she WAS one of those kids, but few of those kids were ever as good as him.

Naruto laughs again, "Why should I? 'ttebayo!"

A figure appears behind him, and she looks angry, "Hey, Naruto!"

Naruto screams and jumps high in the air before landing on his butt, he looks up at the source of his trouble in annoyance, "How did you suddenly get here, Moekara Sensei?!"

Moekara Aki is shown on screen, though the audience knows her by another name.

"CINDER?!" Almost everyone in the room shouts at the same time, though the most surprised in this scenario is Cinder Fall herself. A teacher? A sensei? She almost wants to laugh at the irony, there is no value to be had from such a relationship, she has the memories to prove it.

It takes everything in Ruby, Yang, Winter, and Jaune's power to think rationally and realize that this is another version of Cinder, it takes even more willpower to not want to find a way to jump into the screen and save Naruto from the woman that's caused so much pain and suffering.

Oobleck pushes his glasses up at this new information, "Interesting, this is indeed Cinder Fall, though she goes by another name in this universe."

Marick shakes his head and clarifies, "This is still her name, however, due to cultural and linguistic differences between the two worlds, it is that world's version of her name."

At that Oobleck's eyes shine brightly, and Glynda just shakes her head, knowing Marick had just awakened a beast with that explanation.

Moekara's long hair was put into a pony tail, she wore a black mesh shirt with a open green flak jacket and black pants with grey shin guards and shinobi sandals.

She points a finger at Naruto, "The question is what are you doing here when you should be in class?"

The screen transitions to what appears to be a school with a swing set out in front, then goes to a classroom with Naruto tied up in rope, as Moekara prepares for a scolding.

"Now listen, Naruto. You failed the last graduation test, and the one before that. This is no time to be goofing off, you fool!"

Naruto merely looks to the side, "Hmph"

Moekara grits her teeth in annoyance and has a vein popping out of her head.

She quickly looks at the class, "We will have a re-test on the Transformation Jutsu! Even those who already passed will take it!"

The entire class exclaims in exasperation.

Mercury scoffs at this, "It seems no matter the universe, Cinder is always the disciplinarian."

Cinder just smiles in a creepy way, "What was that Mercury?" she asks in a false sweet voice.

Mercury merely responds with a sweat drop.

Qrow just shakes his head at the scene, "It seems your kid is quite the troublemaker Sum."

Summer can't help but agree, though she desperately wishes to understand why he acts this way.

Taiyang feels similarly, as a father he feels powerless to solve whatever issue his son has, and he hates it.

Yang has a vein popping out of her forehead herself at the way Cinder has tied up her brother, "Your counterpart seems to go to extreme measures to get her way, I guess we've already found one similarity already, eh Cinder?"

Cinder merely rolls her eyes at the taunt, "This little brat had two trained ninja in hot pursuit, and he was able to outfox the both of them, I'm not surprised my counterpart had a countermeasure just in case he tried anything funny."

Yang's eyes turn red as soon as she refers to Naruto as "this little brat", and quickly gets up to give Cinder a piece of her mind, but is stopped by Taiyang touching her hand.

"Let it go, Yang. She's right." Yang looks at her father in shock, "I disagree with her choice of words, but Naruto was causing a lot of trouble, and is experienced enough to escape two trained men, her counterpart had to make sure he didn't just run off to cause more trouble."

A part of Yang knows he is right, and another part knows that this version of Cinder was different in the sense that she did care about someone other than herself, she didn't have to go out looking for her brother, that's not one of her official duties as a teacher.

Still, it was hard to separate the bad blood with their Cinder and the Cinder on screen.

Ruby feels the same way, she guesses this version of Cinder was just something they all had to get used to, but it was going to be challenging.

Oobleck once again has a light in his eyes at the mention of "Transformation Jutsu" and looks to Marick for guidance.

Marick sighs, knowing this was going to become a pattern, "Think of jutsu as a semblance, except they're not just limited by one power, a person in theory could learn every jutsu on the planet."

When everyone blanches at that, well almost everyone, there was a gleam in Cinder's eyes at the possibility, Marick quickly clarifies. "I say in theory of course, practically that would be insane, you would need multiple lifetimes to even achieve that, most ninja have an inherent or learned strength/skill/power that they develop over time and use more regularly than other jutsu. Others however who never develop a particular strength are more content at being a jack of all trades, while being a master of none."

Everyone nods in understanding, that makes more sense. It reminds Salem and Ozma of the magic that was once predominant in their world before the great destruction of Remnant, back then, while a person could in theory just as in this world learn every spell, it would be very impractical.

Blake looks particularly fascinated along with Oobleck, it seems ninja in this universe have special powers of some sort, it reminds her of the old ninja folktales that common folk used to tell and spread around that mystified the ninja of old in Mistral, and made them to appear as almost magical or supernatural.

A girl with pink hair and aqua eyes wearing a red qipao, green bike shorts, a red bow on her head, and ninja sandals appears on screen.

Both Nora and Ren's eyes bug out of their heads at the appearance of this girl, looking at each other they can tell the other came to the same conclusion that the other did, this was their each multiverse counterpart's kid.

Nora starts to blush red as a tomato, with Ren following close behind, his reserved nature letting him resist the feeling a little longer than Nora.

Yang smirks at the both of them, "I guess congratulations are in order?"

This makes them blush even harder, which makes their friends laugh.

"Sakura Ren. Here I go!"

"Transform!"

In a puff of smoke, what was a 12 year old girl now is a transformed Moekara, the real Moekara smiles "Good." She nods in approval.

Many of the heroes, especially Ren and Nora, and some of the villains are impressed by this as well, for Neo and Emerald in particular it reminds them of their illusion based semblances.

Oobleck was writing information down on a notepad after requesting one from one of the servants in the hall, he notes that a jutsu like this could be used for a variety of purposes, including diversions and infiltration, it could even be used as a psychological effect on an enemy depending on who or what you transform into. He has a huge grin on his face while writing all of this, he was going to have fun watching and examining this universe.

Taiyang is the first to notice something this time, particularly a black haired boy in the background, with silver eyes. He grins with shining eyes, "Sum, kids, I think I just found the other one."

Ruby and Summer do a double take, it was almost like looking in a mirror, the boy in question was wearing a high collar blue shirt, white shorts, and two arm warmers, leg wrappings, along with the customary ninja sandals, Summer notes that he doesn't have the red hair tips that sometimes manifests in her side of the family, but that doesn't always happen, he does very much have the silver eyes and the black hair though.

Ruby smiles and gushes as she yells "CUTE!" much to everyone's exasperation as they hold their ears in pain.

He reminds Yang of a younger boy version of Ruby, and she finds herself in tears again, as she starts to remember simpler times, along with finding a new sibling.

At noticing Yang's tears, Ruby immediately goes to give her sister a hug, to which Yang reciprocates happily.

What everyone doesn't notice is Marick clenching his teeth, knowing what will happen in the future, it may have worked out in the end, but that doesn't mean what happens isn't any less sad or painful, he can only hope they're able to soldier on through it.

After Sakura transforms back to her original self, she goes into a celebration, and starts jumping for joy, "I did it!"

The background shifts to black as another version of Sakura who was silhouetted in darkness appears, this version seems more emotionally intense as she puts a fist forward and shouts "SHANNARO!"

Nora laughs at this affectionately, while Ren simply chuckles, though is also curious as to what that word means, when he turns his head to Marick, he nods.

"Like Dattebayo, it doesn't really have a translation, however the closest approximation would be: "Hell Yeah!" "

At hearing that, Nora laughs even more, identifying with Sakura for her eccentricity already.

Ren sighs, "Another boisterous addition to the family huh?" he asks in a warm tone.

Nora smirks.

Sakura looks to Sasuke and smiles excitedly, "Sasuke? Did you see that?"

The boy, now identified as Sasuke, doesn't respond however.

Nora coos, "Aww, she has a crush!"

Yang chuckles, "Yeah, and I guess it's on my little brother, though he seems pretty quiet and reserved. It must be genetic." She teases the two again.

Nora blushes again, Ren just looks away from Yang while blushing, hoping the teasing stops soon, though knowing Yang, it probably wasn't going to.

Summer, Tai, Qrow, Raven, Ruby, and Yang mentally note the other son/brother's given name in this universe, Sasuke.

"Next, Sasuke Uchiha!"

"Hai." He responds before walking up.

He transforms into Moekara, the second student to do so.

Moekara sweat drops, "O-Ok" she says, wondering if this is going to be a pattern.

Sasuke gives a stoic stare before grunting "Hn."

Qrow chuckles, "Well if it gets the job done."

Ruby frowns slightly, "He seems... distant and cold, why is he like that?"

Marick clenches his teeth, knowing the answer but not wanting to say, ESPECIALLY to Ruby, it would absolutely devastate her, he's not even sure how he's going to handle it when that part is shown.

"It... it'll be revealed eventually, just know it's for a very justifiable reason."

That answer causes the whole family to frown and worry.

Moekara reads out the next student's name, "Naruto Uzumaki!"

The screen pans to a peeved Naruto holding his hands in his pockets, a boy to Naruto's left with black hair tied into a spiky pony tail and pale red eyes stares at him in an annoyed fashion, "This is a real pain."

Another girl to Naruto's right with light-blue hair tied into a long pony tail and blue eyes, looks at Naruto in contempt, "And it's all your fault!"

Qrow chokes on a pretzel he swallowed as the image of the boy comes on screen, Neptune similarly spits out the soda he just took a sip out of at the image of the girl much to Coco's disgust.

Raven laughs at Qrow's expense, "Well, would you look at that, it seems those little adventures you're known for came with a gift this time. Hope this version pays child support."

A vein pops out of Qrow's head, "Who are you to talk about supporting a child?!"

"Uncle Qrow/Qrow!" Ruby and Summer yell with a glare.

Qrow looks at Ruby and Summer then notices Yang's solemn face, immediately he realizes his mistake, "S-sorry firecracker, I forgot you were here."

Yang just lightly smiles, "It's okay Uncle Qrow, it's actually kind of interesting to see how the two of you interact."

At this the both of them blush out of embarrassment.

Neptune was frozen for a good few minutes at the image of the girl on screen. Him, a father? The thought was both overwhelming and joyous at the same time. He doesn't even notice his partner Sun waving his hand in front of his face, he does notice however when Coco who's also sitting next to him slaps him over the head to snap him out of it.

Neptune looks gratefully to Coco, "Thanks."

Coco shrugs, "No problem."

Naruto just scoffs, "Like I care."

He walks up in front, getting in position to do the jutsu. As he does this, another girl is seen in the background staring at Naruto with a blush and a warm look while poking her index fingers together, she has brown hair that's styled as a hime-style bowl cut and lavender eyes.

"Naruto, good luck." She says sweetly.

It was Velvet's turn to be stunned, besides the lavender eyes which she chalks up to just being a multiverse thing, she looks almost exactly like she did when she was that young.

"AWWW" Almost every woman besides Salem, Raven, and Cinder coos at this sweet little girl.

Ozma narrows his eyes, the multiverse is near infinite, so it makes sense that there'd be universes where people who are familiar with each other here would be familiar with each other in others, however, Naruto and Sasuke are native to their world, he hardly thought it was a coincidence that whatever deal the god of this world and this previous Scribe made happened to take place in a world where the two brothers would grow up around people that are multiverse counterparts or related to said multiverse counterparts of some of the people in this room.

Marick smiles at Ozma's suspicious look, not surprised he was one of the first to notice this, Salem seems to suspect something too, he wonders how long before the others started to question why the universe the brothers were whisked away to also happens to be a universe filled with familiar faces, or people related to said familiar faces.

When Marick himself first reviewed this part of the universe, he immediately was suspicious, that other versions of these people existed in another universe wasn't the surprising part, after all, it's the multiverse. That the god of this world happened to have these two boys be raised in an environment around these familiar faces was.

"Transform!"

A surge of chakra envelops Naruto before another puff of smoke appears, when it clears, instead of appearing as Moekara, Naruto transforms into a grown blonde woman with whisker marks on her face, she was also completely nude save for wisps of smoke covering her more private areas.

Moekara eyes bulge out of her skull and makes a sound of surprise before being knocked back to the ground from the force of her bloody nose.

The hall erupts in laughter, Cinder has an absolutely murderous expression on her face. "That little brat!"

Jacques rolls his eyes.

Willow attempts to shield Whitley's eyes with her hands, to which Whitley irritatingly stops with a hand of his own.

Weiss and Winter are both face-palming at the immaturity being displayed on screen.

Yang and Nora are almost out of breath from how hard they've been laughing.

Ruby stutters and cannot even find the words to what she's seeing.

"I thought that bloody nose thing was just an old wives tale!" Qrow says in between laughs.

"Remember when mom tried to tell you that to scare you? A lot of help that was!" Raven adds while also laughing in between words.

Summer puts her hand to her mouth in surprise, and looks at Taiyang, knowing where Naruto got the prankster side of him from.

Taiyang flusters as Summer's eyes find him, "I'm sure he'll grow out of it."

Yang snorts, "Yeah, like you did?" She's lost count of how many times she's been pranked by her dad, Ruby's fallen victim to it too.

Taiyang chuckles in response, "I seem to remember a few times you've gotten me and Ruby, where's this judgement coming from all of a sudden?"

Yang blushes.

Roman and Neo were some of the first to laugh, so hard that tears were running down their faces, Roman immediately looks in Cinder's direction, "I didn't know you swing for the other team! To be outclassed in such a humiliating way!"

Cinder's eyes darken, "I will make sure you die for a second time if you keep running your mouth, Roman."

Neo immediately takes a protective stance in front of Roman as Cinder stops talking, Cinder sneers at Neo, Neo responds with a sneer of her own, not forgetting for one second that she betrayed her.

Roman takes Neo by the hand reassuringly, and motions for her to sit, which Neo does hesitatingly.

Naruto laughs boisterously, "Ha ha ha! How was it? I call it the "Sexy Jutsu"!"

Moekara quickly recovers, marches right up to Naruto and forms hand signs to due her infamous big head jutsu, which she's used in the past to bring the students in line, "YOU FOOL! STOP MAKING IDIOTIC JUTSU!"

Glynda nods in approval at this version of Cinder, a classroom is a sacred place for learning, not juvenile pranks.

Oobleck isn't too sure though, while he definitely thinks it's inappropriate for Naruto to be doing that, for adults such a technique would prove useful.

Ironwood reluctantly acknowledges the value that such a technique could provide.

Mercury cleans out his ears, "I'm so glad our version didn't have that when she was training Emerald and I."

Emerald in the heroes section hears Mercury, and agrees wholeheartedly.

Cinder chuckles, "Well you never know Mercury, perhaps life will find a way?"

Mercury shivers at that.

Another transition occurs at the front of the school and the tree with the swing set, then another transition to the center of the Leaf Village, if one would look carefully they'd see a window cleaning platform next to the first face of the Hokage monument.

We then see a close of up of the first face, it's Naruto cleaning up the mess he made with Moekara sitting on top of the face.

Naruto's family, Glynda, Ironwood, Winter, and Weiss all nod in approval of the punishment, though Summer worries that Naruto will fall, Taiyang and the rest could tell by the other Cinder's actions already that she wouldn't let that happen.

Moekara has her arms crossed as she looks down at Naruto firmly, "I won't let you go home unless you clean that all up!"

Naruto looks up in annoyance, "I don't care! There's nobody home anyway."

Stunned silence.

Summer looks to Marick, "W-what does he mean by that?"

Marick sighs, here comes one of the hard parts, "In this world, Naruto's other mom also died when he was very little, he has no memory of either of his parents, and he grew up in an orphanage, that is he did until the caretaker at said orphanage kicked him out at an early age."

Summer is devastated, as is Taiyang, tears shining in both parent's eyes, they're also angry, who the HELL kicks a child out onto the streets at such a young age?!

Ruby is shocked into silence as tears creep up at the corner of her eyes, for her brother to go through so much at such an early age was too much for her or Yang.

Yang's eyes are crimson red as the tears run down her cheeks, the desire to go into this universe and teach that "caretaker" a lesson growing ever stronger within her.

Cinder's eyes also widen, 'He-he's like me', the special interest her counterpart has taken in this young boy makes much more sense now, if her counterpart went through even a fraction of what she did as a child, though surely she got something out of taking care of him.

Ren, Nora, Neo, and Emerald also couldn't help but feel a great sense of familiarity to Naruto's predicament.

Ruby tearfully asks, "So, does that mean my brother is homeless?"

The rest of Naruto's family widen their eyes in alarm, not even considering that, Marick quickly reassures them, "No, thankfully he received special attention from the Third Hokage when the caretaker threw him out, he set up a personal apartment for Naruto to live in, he didn't check up on him a lot however, but he also made sure that there were Anbu Black Ops stationed nearby to watch out for his home, in case anything went wrong."

This raises a thousand alarms at once, especially for the military minded like Winter and Ironwood, it seems that shinobi are basically the military for this village, and the Hokage is a very high position within the hierarchy of said military, possibly even the top position, for a random orphan to get his attention was no small feat, and further for said Hokage to place a BLACK OPS squad to monitor his home is enough cause to suspect something is up with this kid.

All of the heroes and especially his family have a very bad feeling about all of this.

Ozma ponders something, "You say that my counterpart, the Third Hokage, takes a special interest in Naruto, but where is the Fifth Hokage? Wasn't there already a Fourth?"

Marick curtly nods, "Yes, unfortunately after the Fourth died the candidates to replace him were very slim, the ones that could replace him were either dead from the last war the Leaf got involved in, are outside of the village with no plans on coming back, or are/were targets of suspicion, the Third never died and went into retirement when he appointed this universe's version of Taiyang to the title of Hokage, when he died, you were forced to come out of retirement for the sake of the village."

Ozma couldn't help but feel for his counterpart, no doubt he worked extremely hard for most of his life, but age eventually catches up with all of us, from what Marick said, his counterpart's prime was well over and done with.

Moekara's eyes soften as Naruto says this, thinking for a second, she smirks as she knows what will cheer Naruto up, "Naruto..."

Naruto narrows his eyes at Moekara, "What is it this time?"

Moekara gives a light smile, "What I meant was, if you clean up all that mess, I'll buy you ramen tonight."

Naruto's eyes light up and he grins in excitement, "YES! I'll finish this in no time!"

There were a few chuckles at this, happy to see Naruto's spirits be lifted.

Cinder couldn't help but be interested with this boy, there is an intrigue surrounding him because of certain circumstances in the village, that's part of it, but the similar background is also a factor.

She can't imagine why, she thought she buried her past long ago, there was no pain, no servitude, no loneliness, there was only power, and the freedom and respect that came with it.

Yang looks at Blake and grins, "I blame you for this, you know."

Blake looks at Yang strangely, "What do you mean?"

Yang laughs, "You must have traveled across the multiverse to corrupt my brother to your ramen addiction somehow, especially your damn Shio ramen with the fish broth, after a few weeks our dorm's kitchen smelled like a Mistrali harbor."

Blake sputters at this, looking away in embarrassment to the boisterous laughter of everyone around her.

Blake huffs, "You're all just ignorant to the greatness of the dish."

She then feels an arm around her who brings her in for a side hug, she looks to see the person in question to find Yang, who smiles warmly, Blake smiles with a blush on her face in response. This does not go unnoticed by the two's parents.

It is now night time and the screen transitions to a ramen stand, Naruto and Moekara can be seen sitting at the stand, already eating.

Naruto holds his chop sticks over the bowl and slurps down a large portion of the noodles excitedly, his eyes closed in joy at the exquisite taste of the broth and noodles.

Summer, Yang, Ruby, and Blake coo in adoration, "Your brother is so cute!" Blake says.

Yang smiles, "He really is."

Even Weiss, who is usually the most reserved of the group has to admit that Ruby and Yang's brother is adorable, she even smiles at the scene.

Whitley sees this and tries to hide his jealousy, he knew that they all as a family, sans father, are trying to make their relationship work now, Weiss even gave him a full blown hug, which is not something he ever expected to happen in a million years, but years of their previous dynamic were not so easily erased, old memories and pain surface, ones of isolation from everyone he cares about, the arguments, some over petty and stupid things, others over real emotional things.

He still remembers that day when he told Weiss that he would be taking the company from her, and then all but said he wanted to take the position from her, because he knew just how precious it was to her. The initial sense of joy that she received her "comeuppance" was almost euphoric, but then Whitley walked by her room after that and heard the tears of heartbreak.

He felt a feeling he couldn't describe at the time, now he can, it was guilt. How does he feel about it now? He feels pretty lousy. What was he even thinking at the time?

He feels a hand on his shoulder and is surprised to see his other sister, Winter, look at him in reassurance "It's okay, Whitley." She knew what he was thinking about, he guesses he should work on his, what was it that father's business colleagues called it? His poker face? Yeah, that's it. He should work on his poker face more.

He looks away from Winter, still unsure, he wasn't even sure all of this wasn't some cruel dream, where his family actually cares about him and doesn't just disregard him, only for him to wake up and realize he's still living such a miserable existence.

"I-I don't know what you're talking about." He says blushing, clearly embarrassed.

Winter smirks, "Of course you don't."

Moekara is not far behind Naruto in her slurping, though she does take a moment to look to Naruto, after swallowing her noodles, she decides to ask a question that's been eating at her, "Naruto?"

Naruto makes a sound of acknowledgement while eating.

"Why did you vandalize those faces? Don't you know who the Hokage leaders are?"

Naruto eats the last of his noodles then goes for the remaining broth, but not before grinning at Moekara's question, "Of course I do!"

He gulps down the remaining broth, before continuing in answering her question.

"I know they earned the title Lord Hokage, because they were the best Ninja of their time, right?"

Naruto looks to the sky in reverence, the Fourth's stone head showing in his thoughts, "Especially the Fourth Hokage, he was a hero who saved the village from Nine-Tailed Demon Fox."

From the way Naruto spoke, it was clear to Moekara that he was Naruto's favorite Hokage.

Taiyang and the rest of his family are touched by this, even if Naruto doesn't know the full story, and doesn't know who the Fourth Hokage really is to him, he still holds his father, albeit multiversal counterpart, in high esteem.

Taiyang finally realizes however that Naruto technically vandalized his stone face as a prank, it actually makes him laugh, "That cheeky little brat." He says affectionately.

Still, it doesn't really explain why he did it, so Moekara presses for more, "Then why did you do that?"

Naruto looks down, a face of solemn conviction, "Because I'll become a Hokage myself!" He stares at Moekara with a grin and look of determination, "And I'll be the greatest Hokage of all time!" As he says this he points his chopsticks at her dramatically, and adds, "So that everyone will finally learn to accept me!"

Ruby has a look of sorrow, "So along with having no mom and dad, he's also treated badly by everyone?"

Yang's teeth clench so hard it's a wonder her jaw doesn't shatter, on top of being a technical orphan, her brother had to put up with other people's crap?

Summer and Taiyang are wondering just what kind of world this Scribe put their children into.

Cinder ponders on Naruto's answer, it's clear that he's treated somewhat badly, but instead of responding with anger and resentment, he's chosen to not give up and make the people who have given him pain acknowledge his worth as a person.

It reminds Cinder of how she was at first when she got adopted by her "Mother", obviously now she knows it was just a poorly veiled attempt to use indentured child labor to take care of her unsightly hotel, but at the time she was just a girl desperate for a home, a place where she'd be acknowledged, cared for, and loved.

Even when she received her first beatings and other abuses, she was initially desperate to make it work, she would have done anything to make sure she didn't go back to the orphanage. Then the endless cruelties and abuse mounted, until she realized that love, acknowledgement, family, and friends were for fools, the only way to try and find true happiness and liberation was power, that's the only way to escape the chains of this irredeemable world, and that, that was the true victory, once you become a being of pure power the chains that are placed on you were truly broken.

Cinder grits her teeth in frustration, why the hell is she suddenly trying to remember how she felt as a little girl? She was pathetic and weak when she was little, just a stupid little girl who wanted love and acknowledgement, too naive to truly see that such things were impossible.

Moekara looks at Naruto in stunned silence, there was even a noodle hanging from her lip that she forgot to slurp down during Naruto's speech, she realizes this though and quickly slurps it down as Naruto looks at her excitedly.

"By the way, Sensei, I have a favor to ask."

"You want another bowl?"

"Mmm... no!" He puts his hands together as if to plead for something, "Can I borrow that Leaf headband for a while?"

Moekara has a sly smirk on her face at this request then points to her headband, "Oh, this? Nope. This is only worn by those who have graduated from the Leaf Ninja Academy."

Naruto frowns and Moekara gives a genuine smile, "Tomorrow, you will."

Naruto huffs, "You're so mean!"

Moekara laughs at this, "So that's why you took off your goggles!"

Naruto grits his teeth, "I want another bowl!"

Moekara continues to laugh but then makes a horrified gasp knowing just how horrible Naruto's appetite can be when it comes to ramen.

Almost everyone either chuckles or smiles at this interaction, Naruto's family happy that he at least had someone there to look out for him, even if it was the multiverse counterpart of an enemy.

Neo is smiling warmly at the scene, it reminds her of her relationship with Roman, especially when she was younger and was practically being raised by him.

Cinder doesn't even know how to feel about all of this, this is unlike anything she's ever experienced before, even if it was her multiverse counterpart, the idea of it was alien, the closest thing she had to this was Rhodes, and it was superficial as she would later find out, surely her counterpart gains something from this right? Something material or something that would increase her power?

Emerald was looking at Cinder as the scene ended and just shakes her head at the fact that Cinder doesn't even get it yet, it was obvious in the first few interactions they had and yet Cinder doesn't see it, rather, she doesn't want to see it.

The screen transitions back to the school, and then to the classroom, Moekara is announcing something, "We are now about to begin the graduation test. When your name is called, proceed to the next classroom. The test is on the Clone jutsu."

Naruto clenches his teeth and puts his hands on his face in frustration, 'Of all the times... this is my weakest jutsu!'

Blake and Sun have their interest piqued on the name of that jutsu, and Marick explains before they ask, "It's a jutsu where essentially you create the illusion of another clone, it's mostly used to divert attention away from your real body."

Blake's eyes widen a bit, that's basically what she does with her semblance, she wonders how many jutsus will have similarities to the powers they have on Remnant.

Sun ponders on whether there's a jutsu where the clones actually do stuff instead of act as illusions, a little excited at the prospect that there may be a jutsu equivalent to his power.

Yang abruptly stands up, "You can do it Naruto! Kick that jutsu in the ass!"

Ruby stands up with Yang, "Yeah!"

Taiyang and Summer chuckle at the antics of their daughters, though internally they too were cheering him on and hoping that Naruto succeeded with his test.

Raven rolls her eyes at Yang's antics, but just the subtle hint of a smirk was also shown on her lips.

A table is shown, with multiple headbands in rows of three laid on it.

Naruto is shown in a stance of resolve, his facial expression mirrors his stance, 'But still, I will do it no matter what!'

"That's the spirit!" Yang shouts, Ruby nods excitedly.

Weiss groans and looks at the two sisters in annoyance, "You two do realize he can't hear you right?"

Winter just chuckles, understanding where the sisters were coming from, "Leave it be Weiss, I can't say I would be as reserved if I were in their shoes either."

Weiss ponders on that, she supposes she never really had an older sibling dynamic with a younger sibling before, Whitley and her's relationship was always rocky, though that is something she recently has been trying to rectify, she guesses she can't fault Yang and Ruby for trying to have a connection with their younger siblings, even if it was a one way connection.

Whitley just stares at Ruby and Yang's cheers and encouragement with a small smile on his face, hoping that their family could be like that one day.

Naruto puts a special hand sign together and closes his eyes to concentrate further. As he does a certain sound is heard, and a wave of blue energy envelops him, wisps of the energy dance all around his body, it even sprouts from the ground in a circle around him.

"Oh, how exciting! What is this power emanating from Naruto? Is it what he and everyone else uses to use jutsu?" Oobleck asks

Marick looks to Oobleck, "Yes, it's called "chakra", and as Oobleck pointed out, it's what Ninja's use to perform jutsu, they'll get into more of the specifics in the next part and even further later on."

Everyone nods in understanding.

"Clone Jutsu!" Naruto shouts

A clone appears to Naruto's right, though "clone" is a generous word for it, it looks half dead and laid out on the floor like a crash dummy, it's eyes were dead and it's tongue laid out of it's mouth like a dog.

Yang and Ruby instantly deflate at this and sit back down, Tai and Summer wince at their son's attempt as well.

Qrow just takes a deep breath.

Blake is trying hard not to laugh at Naruto's attempt, not out of judgment, but because it reminds her of her first attempts to summon her clone when her semblance first manifested.

Mercury, Roman, and Neo all almost fell out of their seats from laughing so hard, Mercury looks at Cinder, "Well, I guess you can't always get the best huh? Sometimes you get left with the lost causes."

Cinder's entire face darkens at Mercury's words, she gets out of her seat and walks menacingly over to Mercury, she stares down at him, "It would be wise for you to keep your mouth shut, I am not in the mood for your smart ass remarks, and I am especially not in the mood to be talked down to by some upstart!"

Mercury looks pissed, but a look from Salem stops him from retaliating, "Fine." He grounds out.

Cinder is satisfied with that response and goes back to her seat.

Naruto realizes that his clone is terrible and puts his hand to his mouth with a nervous expression, sweat drips from his face.

Moekara has a subtle deadpan look at Naruto's attempt, one of her eyes are twitching.

"Disqualified!"

Moekara looks down, and has a face of regret and sadness, the voice of her colleague brings her out of her ruminations.

"Moekara Sensei"

Moekara looks to her left at her colleague, a silver haired man of relative youth by the name of Mizuki.

"His physical coordination and stamina are excellent, and he managed to come up with something. Isn't that enough for him to pass?"

Naruto's face lights up at that possibility, however it would not last.

Moekara shakes her head, "Mizuki Sensei, all the others created three or more clones, Naruto only created one and it's practically useless, I can't give him a passing mark."

Naruto's face morphs into anger and disappointment, wishing Moekara would have cut him some slack.

"Naruto" Ruby says sadly.

All of his family are saddened by Naruto's reaction, though they understand why this version of Cinder didn't pass him.

Pyrhha has a question however, "This doesn't make any sense, he expertly got away from those trained ninja, but can't make a simple jutsu like this? Who's been training him?"

Marick looks at Pyrhha, "No one." He said simply

Everyone has a flabbergasted look on their faces, Marick quickly tries to explain, "Due to certain circumstances that will be revealed later on, Naruto is treated horribly by everyone in the village, with few exceptions. The people who do treat him with any care or respect have little time to train him, kids usually receive some initial training from their parents before they're ever even sent to the academy."

"Entire clans of shinobi send their children here, which leaves kids who have civilian parents at somewhat of a disadvantage, though they still have resources that can help them catch up like libraries full of scrolls that teach various things about the shinobi way of life. Naruto along with having no shinobi parents who are alive, also has very limited resources to self-improve, Moekara being the only teacher willing to teach him seriously, and whenever he goes to the library, the librarian either chases him out, or gives him very limited or outdated information just so he'll go away. Naruto is self taught, what basics he did learn he learns at the academy and some of the scrolls he was able to have, though sometimes the teaching style at the ninja academy is not for him."

"He used his self-taught knowledge and refined it enough to where he could expertly do pranks and run away from the consequences, but other than that, he is a bit behind the other students."

His family are dumbfounded at this, there's being an underdog, then there was this, what the hell is wrong with these people? There's no way a child did anything so horrible that could justify this treatment. More than once now do Taiyang and Summer wish they could be there to support and defend their child.

Cinder feels an inexplicable burning sensation in her gut, she was sure if her powers were activated she'd be in full Maiden mode, with eyes aflame and everything, why was she feeling this way? Ah, Maybe it was because she was angry at this Naruto for embarrassing her counterpart, yes, that had to be it.

Meanwhile Emerald was observing her the whole time with a deadpan expression on her face.

Ironwood, Oobleck, and Winter gathered what they could about this village's culture, and from what Marick said, they were heavily militarized, which may be an understatement.

Using a nomenclature such as "clan" indicates that these families have such a long standing history with this village's military that they enjoy an elevated position compared to most people, and more than likely have a strong influence on local politics.

Ironwood himself is curious as to what happens to these children once they graduate, did they go to a more advanced program to further refine and advance their skills? Or perhaps each of them receive special personal attention from a more skilled and powerful trainer that helped them along?

The screen transitions to outside of the academy, a mass of children and parents celebrating graduation, in the distance Naruto is seen on a swing, downcast and dejected while watching children who were celebrating happily with their parents.

"I'm a ninja now!" One child shouts excitedly, and older man next to the child looks at him proudly.

"You did well! That's my boy!" A woman next to the boy and man gives the boy a hug, and says sweetly "Congratulations on your graduation. I'll cook something good tonight!

Naruto's expression was one of absolute sorrow and depression.

His expression absolutely breaks Summer's heart, she wishes she could go through the screen and hold him, tell him everything was going to be alright. Taiyang feels the same, but also feels totally useless as a father, his helplessness fueling his sorrow and anger.

Ruby can't even handle all of this, why? Why is everyone so mean to her brother? Where was her other brother in all of this? They more than likely don't even realize they're related considering what that Scribe did, she feels a deep hatred for that man, an emotion that once upon a time would have been alien to her very being, but loss and the pain that comes with it can darken any soul it touches.

Yang puts a comforting arm around Ruby, knowing this was affecting her a lot, it sure as hell was for Yang.

Cinder watches the scene with an indecipherable look, something deep inside her resonating with this scene.

Two women are shown staring at Naruto in the distance with disdain, "Look, it's that one."

The other woman nods, "It's that boy. I hear he's the only one who failed."

The woman to the right grunts, "Hn. Serves him right."

The woman to the left concurs, "Imagine what would happen if he became a ninja. Isn't that the boy who's actually..."

"Hey! We're not supposed to talk about that."

Immediately Ruby, Summer, and Yang's eyes darken, they had seen so much in such a short amount of time as to how Naruto was treated, and this is what broke the camel's back.

All three ran towards the screen, wanting to find a way to break through and give those "women" a piece of their minds, it takes Tai, Qrow, Raven, Blake, and Weiss to fully restrain the three, though they definitely understand the impulse, they also didn't want to deal with the aftermath of a broken theater screen and a pissed Marick.

The three of them reluctantly go back to their seats, Marick looks at them all gratefully, and is secretly glad he never told them about the entrances to the various different portals within the multiverse and that these screens could be used as one, though thankfully only through a special process that him and the rest of the scribes were capable of.

Whitley looks at the scene with wide eyes and a few sweat drops, women were scary when it came to the people they love and care about.

Willow, Winter, and Weiss look at Whitley with amused expressions.

For Ozma and Salem, this scene confirms what they had been suspecting for a bit now, this boy is somehow connected to the fox demon that was shown earlier, in combination with his ritualistic birth, the "rune" marking that Oobleck mentioned, the fact that a black ops squad monitors his home, and the comments made by these two women was enough to confirm it for them.

Ozma looks at Taiyang, and then looks back at the screen, 'Tai, just what did your counterpart do?'

Naruto puts his goggles on and is ready to leave, but as he does he hears someone come to his side, he looks to the right and finds his other sensei Mizuki standing there.

The screen transitions to Moekara and the Third Hokage observing Naruto from a distance, the Third suddenly speaks, "Moekara, we need to talk later."

Naruto quicky leaves the grounds of the school as Moekara looks on, she nods, "Yes sir."

The scene then transitions to Mizuki and Naruto sitting on the small terrace of a building, Naruto is downcast as Mizuki speaks up.

"Moekara Sensei isn't trying to be mean to you." Mizuki says reassuringly.

Naruto looks at him with doubt, "Then why only me?"

Mizuki smiles, "Naruto, she wants you to become strong from the bottom of her heart, but that'll never happen if she goes easy on you, you both are alike you know, you both don't have any parents."

Cinder looks down at this, so this was confirmation that her counterpart did go through something similar, it seems no matter the universe she's fated to be alone, she snorts, that was fine with her, as long as she had power that's all that mattered, still she couldn't help but feel a pang of hurt when Mizuki said what he did.

Winter understands where Cinder's counterpart is coming from, it's why she was seemingly tough on Weiss whenever training her in her semblance or just her performance on things in general, she didn't meaning anything bad by it, she just wanted nothing but the best for Weiss, though pretty recently she's forced herself to look back and examine if she was too tough on Weiss at times.

Taiyang definitely understands, he extensively trained Yang in the martial arts, when she was younger and just starting out he obviously handled her with kiddie gloves, but as she advanced and got older, the gloves slowly came off, Yang was a natural and he expected nothing less than her absolute best when they trained.

Ironwood also gets it, while this version of Cinder may have a strong affection for Naruto, she also has a duty as his superior and teacher to make sure he is at his best before passing him, and he was not at his best.

Blake understands too, though with everyone against him, she wonders if Naruto could really ever achieve his full potential in such an environment, it was something she and the rest of the Faunus were accustomed to, and the Faunus in the room, even Adam, can't help but feel a sense of familiarity and connection with Naruto.

Ruby and Yang just hope he doesn't give up on himself.

Mizuki gives a half smirk, "Heh... I guess I have no choice"

Naruto looks at him, curious.

"I'll let you in on a big secret."

"Secret?" Naruto asks internally

Ozma, Ironwood, Tai, Summer, Qrow, Yang, and Ruby all frown at this, what was this teacher up to?

The screen transitions to Moekara laying on her bed, pondering the day's events in her head.

"Moekara" The Third's voice enters her mind as she remembers that conversation from earlier.

"What is it, Lord Hokage?" "I understand how you feel but, Naruto also grew up without knowing the love of his parents, like you."

Moekara's mind transitions to a memory that is displayed for the audience, of that dark ominous night where the Nine Tails attacked, the beast roars and causes havoc to the forest as the Ninja are getting decimated, a young Moekara is being carried away from the battlefield.

"Let me go! My mom and dad are still out there fighting!"

Then she remembers the hateful glare of the foul beast, something she'll never forget.

Cinder is stunned, that fox is the reason for her counterpart being an orphan? She matches the glare on screen with one of her own, wait, why does she even care? If her own parents cared enough they would have been there long before she became an indentured servant to a vile woman and her vapid spawn.

Cinder hears sniffling and looks in the direction of the sound only to see this "Summer" woman crying, what was her stake in all of this?

Ruby gently touches her mom's shoulder, "Mom, are you okay?" Summer just smiles through her tears, "Yes honey, this scene just really hurt me, a child shouldn't have to go through that."

Ruby understands, if there wasn't still some residual misplaced anger on Cinder's counterpart, she'd be sad too, still Ruby couldn't help but feel there was something more to it.

There was an urgent knock at her door, "MOEKARA SENSEI! Wake up!"

Moekara groggily gets up, goes to the door, and irritably opens it, it's Mizuki and he looks absolutely frantic.

"What's the matter?"

"Come to Lord Hokage's immediately! I heard that Naruto... stole the Scroll of Sealing."

Moekara's eyes were as wide as saucers, "The Scroll of Sealing?!" She yells.

"That... doesn't sound good, at all." Yang says anxiously.

Ironwood looks at this scene with an analytical eye, "It sounds like whatever this 'scroll' is, it's incredibly important and valuable, if that's the case, one has to wonder how someone who isn't even graduated from the academy could get his hands on something so important."

All of the veterans in the room came to similar conclusions, he had to have had help.

Now the screen transitions to a wooded area, there's a shed of some sort with Naruto sitting on the ground not too far from it, he has the scroll in his hand, and it's huge, whatever information is stored on it must be plentiful.

"Lets see..." Naruto says excitedly as reads the contents of said scroll, "The first jutsu is, Multi-Shadow Clone Jutsu?"

He puts a hand on his head in irritation, "What?! Already a Jutsu I'm no good at?!"

Summer looks at the scene strangely, "It's like he's completely unaware of what he's done."

"That's because he is." Cinder looks calm as she says this, but her tone was anything but, and as Emerald notices once again, Cinder is completely lacking in self awareness.

As soon as she saw Mizuki's duplicitous face at her counterpart's door she knew what happened, combined with the scene from before and it was obvious to her that he wanted to use Naruto for something, and preyed upon Naruto's wish and need to be accepted to do it.

Still that doesn't explain why she feels so angry, maybe she's just pissed because Mizuki played her for a fool?

A group of ninja are huddled together as they speak to the Third Hokage.

"Lord Hokage! We can't forgive him! This is not just a prank!" One of them started.

"The Scroll is a dangerous item that the First Hokage sealed! Depending on it's use... It will be a major disaster if it is taken outside the village!" Another added.

Almost everyone pales at those words.

"Naruto... what have you done?" Summer asks fearfully

Oobleck ever the curious looks to Marick, "What is in this scroll? It's obviously extremely important and seems to be a military secret of some kind."

Ironwood and Winter are also curious.

"The Scroll of Sealing is a massive scroll containing all sorts of "forbidden jutsu" don't let the name fool you though, there are no truly illegal jutsu for people to use in the ninja world, though people may do illegal things with the jutsu they possess, the jutsu itself is not illegal, rather these jutsu are typically just frowned upon greatly or are extremely dangerous to use, the jutsu in this scroll were considered so vile and/or dangerous that the First Hokage had no choice but to seal the knowledge of these jutsu away in a scroll and keep it under lock and key to prevent curious eyes from looking at them."

Ironwood's eyes almost popped out of his skull at that information, and Winter isn't too far behind him, what Naruto did, it would be like if he were able to sneak into an Atlesian military base, and steal their most dangerous and secretive military tech, and then come out not only unscathed but also start to practice with and use said tech.

"Holy shit... I know what I said earlier, but this is a whole new level, this kid has a lot of brass to pull something like that off!" Roman exclaims stunned, Neo just mutely nods with wide eyes at Roman's words.

Ruby and the rest of her family looks absolutely terrified for him, "H-How did he even manage to do something like that?"

Marick smirks, "How indeed? I believe Cinder already pieced it together, but how else would Naruto, an academy student who doesn't even have an official rank, with his natural stealth and chase skills aside, manage to steal something so monumentally important to the Leaf's security as a village?"

Everyone ponders this, and then they remember that silver haired teacher who wanted to tell Naruto about a "secret", and then it became clearer.

Yang's eyes turn blood red, "I'll kill that son of a bitch!" She yells.

Ruby and Summer's anger was quieter but no less fierce, and Taiyang was no better than Yang in his fury. Qrow with a face of pure rage grips the armrests of his chair.

Almost everyone else was angry too, though not as much as the boy's family understandably so, this boy is an orphan with nothing to his name but some run down apartment, and all he wants is acknowledgement from the people around him.

Mizuki preyed upon his innocent and pure dream for his own machinations, he is an absolutely contemptible person in the eyes of almost everyone in the room, especially to fellow orphans like Neo and Emerald, who understand that need more than anyone.

Winter has a silent snarl on her face, not only that, but that maggot manipulated him into committing a severe crime, stealing military secrets, especially ones of that magnitude, is not something that's just treated with a slap on the wrist, Naruto is in serious danger.

Moekara has sweat coming down her face, indicating how fast she ran to get there, the fear and anxiety on her face just barely hidden.

The Third looks down and then looks at all of them resolutely, "Yes. Bring Naruto here at once!"

"Yes sir!" They all affirmed, then jumped into action so fact they seemingly disappeared from the scene.

A figure is shown jumping around on a building, as it closes up, it's revealed to be Moekara, she's almost out of breath, indicating how long and hard she's been searching.

"Where did you go, Naruto?"

Another figure is shown travelling with a purpose, this figure is eventually shown to be Mizuki, and he has a very smug look on his face.

'Now that I've told everyone what Naruto did, I can eliminate him, they'll be glad he's gone, and then the Scroll of Sealing will be mine!'

It took everything for his family, Neo, Emerald, Nora, and Ren not to try and find a way into the screen so that they could pummel this "man" within an inch of his life.

As for Cinder, she was currently fantasizing the many ways she would kill this man slowly, purely for making a fool out of her of course... that was it.

Glynda herself was already extremely angry at what Mizuki had done, as a teacher doing what he's done was completely unimaginable to her, but hearing his sinister thoughts made her snap, she abruptly gets up, "How dare you! As a teacher you have a sworn responsibility to guide and cultivate the future, and this is all you can think about?! You've abused your student's trust and have greatly endangered him all for your own petty ambitions! You're lucky I can't find my way through that screen and put this heel up your ass!"

Everyone is flabbergasted at this, Yang grins, "That's the spirit Ms. Goodwitch!"

"Yeah!" Nora shouts in agreement

All of the younger huntsman and huntresses cheer for Ms. Goodwitch, she realizes in the middle of their cheers that she lost her composure and blushes in embarrassment, though she still has a small smile at her former students supporting her.

Qrow and Raven both look at each other in shock, "Damn, I didn't know she had it in her." Qrow mumbles, "That makes two of us." Raven mumbles just as quietly.

Ozma chuckles, "Glad to see you haven't lost your protective spirit Glynda."

Glynda blushes even deeper this time, "Thank you, Oz."

The screen goes back to the shed surrounded by the forest, Naruto is seen sitting on the ground completely out of breath, whatever he had been doing took almost all of his energy and willpower to accomplish.

Footsteps can be heard slowly approaching Naruto, eventually stopping a few inches away from him, Naruto looks up at the sound.

It's Moekara, and she looks pissed, "Hey, Naruto." She says in a scary tone.

Naruto puts his right hand on the back of his head and rubs it while laughing good-naturedly.

Moekara is surprised by this and waits for him to explain.

"You found me... And I've only learned one jutsu."

Moekara ponders Naruto's words, "He's been practicing the Jutsu... until he's become this exhausted and dirty?..."

"He looks completely exhausted! Has he even eaten or drunk any liquids in all of that time?!" Summer fretted.

"There's that, but I'm also worried about what jutsu he learned, all of the jutsu in this scroll are supposedly either dangerous or bad, or both." Taiyang adds.

The anxiety and anticipation was so thick in the room you could cut it with a knife.

"Naruto's lucky that Cinder's counterpart found him first, who knows what the other ninja would have done." Emerald says.

Cinder smirks, "Naturally, counterpart or no, I'm more than capable of tracking a child."

Emerald responds by merely rolling her eyes, a response that Cinder is not used to.

Naruto has a wide grin, "Listen, listen!" He says excitedly, "I'm gonna show you this amazing jutsu, then you're going to let me graduate if I can do it! Isn't it true that I can graduate if I can do one of the jutsu written here?"

"So that's what that piece of shit told him." Yang growled.

More than once now Yang wishes she could have a little "talk" with Mizuki about the proper way to treat his students, let alone her own brother.

Ironwood shakes his head, no doubt all the obstacles Naruto had to go through to get the scroll probably just looked like tests of his skill and ability, rather than the very real security measures that were put in place to prevent it's theft. Mizuki more than likely had been scouting the location that the scroll was placed in for weeks possibly even months, and gave Naruto all the tips he could so that he could effortlessly steal the scroll all without being tied into the crime, Naruto would be sufficiently tricked that he passed the "tests" and the village gets the convenient excuse to eliminate a "problem" they've always viewed with prejudice.

The strategist in Ironwood admires the plan, though it goes without saying that morally it's absolutely despicable, Mizuki is also a traitor and he's always treated traitors with maximum prejudice.

'You would have to add yourself into that lot, Ironwood' an internal voice said, Ironwood looks down at that.

Moekara's eyes widen, her mouth slightly agape. "Who told you that?" She asks in a shocked tone.

"Mizuki Sensei, dattebayo! He told me about this scroll and this place..." Naruto's voice gets less excited as he notices Moekara's horrified expression.

'Mizuki did?!' Moekara internally asks herself,

A low noise is heard by Moekara, if it were just Naruto he would have never noticed it, but Moekara is a chunin, she has honed and expanded her senses tenfold since her days as a genin.

The kunai knives come flying so abruptly that she barely has enough time to push Naruto out of the way and take the barrage.

Thankfully only one struck true, though it did hit Moekara in her right leg, right above her knee, a second kunai pierced through her flak jacket on her left shoulder, but didn't hit flesh.

"I'm impressed you found this place." Mizuki said simply.

Yang's eyes seem to be redder than they've ever been before, embers of flames dancing off the strands of her hair, Ruby's eyes were slightly shining as well though haven't gone into full silver eye mode, Summer eye's were the same way, even Tai's semblance seemed to be partly activating.

Marick looks like a fish out of water, 'I-impossible! This-this has happened only one other time before! First Scribe... I'm beginning to understand why you and that god specifically targetted them, you have to have an otherworldly willpower to break through the power supressor field that these rooms are constantly generating, I've seen security footage of the other rooms, and the only other person who was capable of doing so was a certain prince of a dying race, his incessant gloating afterwards was insufferable, I'd lost count of the amount of times he repeated the name "Kakarot" to one of the other guests.'

He quickly goes to the dais, and turns a dial to increase the power to the suppressor field, slowly but surely their semblances disappeared, Marick sighs in relief, though their anger is no less fierce without their powers.

Cinder is absolutely shell shocked, she- she took the barrage for him! Why?! This was too much for her brain to handle, counterpart or no.

Emerald growls, having enough of Cinder's denial, she gets up and marches over to her seat, "Are you fucking kidding me right now?! All this time and you still don't get it?!"

Cinder crosses her arms, and it suddenly occurs to her after all this time that the Grimm arm was no longer attached to her and that she had her other normal arm and hand again, she looks to the side, "I have no idea what you're talking abou-" Cinder is cut off mid-sentence as Emerald grabs her and forces her head to look at the screen.

"YOUR COUNTERPART LOVES NARUTO! Like a mother would a son! She took that barrage, potentially sacrificing her life for him, because she loves him that much! And!" Emerald loses her voice, as the reason for why she's getting angry became clear to her, she speaks up again in a tearful and broken voice, "I can tell he's starting to grow on you too."

Cinder's eyes widen, tears that refuse to fall fill her eyes, love... such a foreign and alien concept to her, something she thought she could feel once upon a time, but is something her counterpart found despite having a similar background to her, she did her best to keep her tears from falling but one managed to escape and drop on to the floor, surprising Emerald who lets her go.

Cinder immediately looks at Emerald and is surprised to find tears on Emerald's face, though she was not as prideful about letting her emotions out.

"Emerald... you.." Cinder was speechless, she felt like she was seeing Emerald truly for the first time, not as a tool, but as a person. When she saw what Jinn showed her, she also saw Emerald join her enemies, at the time she was furious at the betrayal, she schemed all manner of ways to get retribution for it.

Now that she thinks harder on it though, why was she so mad? Emerald was supposed to always just be a tool, right? Nothing more, nothing less. If she was no longer useful as a tool so be it, but she wouldn't take it personal, and yet she did, immensely.

Cinder slowly puts her hand out to touch Emeralds shoulder before Emerald violently slaps it away, beneath the tears and grief, she's also pissed, "Don't touch me!" She snarls, Emerald turns around and walks back to her seat.

Cinder sits back down and ponders on a lot of things.

Moekara winces from the pain of the kunai in her leg, "I see... how it is." she says in a pained voice looking with narrowed eyes at the culprit.

Mizuki was perched on the branch of a tree, he looks at his target intently, "Naruto, give me that scroll."

"Like hell he will you rat bastard!" Yang growls with rabid fury, wanting to strangle him with her bare hands.

Naruto is frozen in place, in too much shock to move, "Wait, wait... What's going on here?" He asks frightfully.

Moekara is breathing heavily as she braces to remove the kunai from her leg, once she does she looks at him, "Naruto, don't ever give him that scroll! It's a dangerous object that contains forbidden jutsu! It was sealed by the First Hokage. Mizuki used you in order to get it for himself!"

Naruto's eyes widen at this news, but then he starts to glare at Mizuki and goes into a stance.

"No! What are you doing?! Run Naruto!" Summer yells in vain, wishing for the millionth time she could be there to protect him.

Raven snorts, "Tch. Your boy is exactly like Tai was, never knowing when to retreat or back down, a trait Yang inherited as well." Both people in question blush in embarrassment.

Ruby blushes in embarrassment too, knowing she would do the same as well.

Mizuki merely smirks, "Naruto, Moekara is only afraid of you using that scroll."

Naruto gasps and looks at Moekara.

Moekara glares at the traitor, "What are you saying Mizuki?! Don't let him fool you Naruto!"

"Listen to Cinder, Naruto! He's manipulating you!" Ruby yells to the shock of everyone around her.

"I thought I'd never see the day where Ruby is in agreement with Cinder Fall." Ren says in surprise.

"No kidding." Nora agrees.

Mizuki chuckles, "I will tell you the truth, Naruto"

Moekara's eyes widen, knowing exactly what he is going to reveal, "You idiot! Don't say it!"

"After an incident 12 years ago, a rule was created" He begins to explain.

Naruto looks confused, "A rule?"

Mizuki's malicious smirk grows ever wider, "That is, Naruto, a rule everybody but you knows."

Naruto's eyes widen, "Except me?! What is it?!"

"STOP IT MIZUKI!" Moekara screams.

"What the hell? A rule? Why can no one tell blondie this rule?" Mercury questions

Ozma's eyes go as wide as dinner plates as he figures out the mystery, one look at Salem and he knows she figured it out true, she gives a low chuckle, "Interesting."

Ozma looks at Taiyang, trying to figure out how the man he knew for so long could even be capable of doing something like this, Tai must have noticed his stare as he looks back at Oz uncomfortably, "What is it, Oz?" He asks.

"I-it's nothing." Ozma answers, sure it was going to be revealed soon enough.

Ruby grips her cloak and is on the edge of her seat, if she had cookies or strawberries right now she'd be stress eating like there was no tomorrow, Penny notices this and quickly puts a comforting hand on Ruby's shoulder.

Yang was hardly any better in her stress.

Raven had been observing Ozma and Salem ever since their reaction to Naruto as an infant, when she saw Ozma widen his eyes then look at Tai as if he had two heads after this scene, it gave her a terrible feeling.

"The rule forbids anyone from revealing that you are actually the Demon Fox spirit!"

Silence. That's all there was at first, like any calm before the storm however, it was not to last.

"Wha- What does he mean by that?" Ruby asks Marick, terrified by the implications.

Marick simply looks on at the screen, definitely not wanting to clarify that, which causes Yang to snap, "SHE ASKED YOU A QUESTION! What the hell does that even mean?!"

Marick grits his teeth in frustration, "He's about to tell you."

Raven's eyes widen, "Tai... you didn't..."

Taiyang looks at Raven strangely, "What?"

Naruto goes pale at those words, his eyes go as wide as they go, "What?" He asks in a small voice.

Mizuki's look grows more vicious, "You are the demon! The Nine-Tailed Fox spirit who killed Moekara's parents and destroyed our village!

"STOP IT!" Moekara screams.

Summer gasps as fresh tears go down her face, she looks at Tai in shock, "Honey, what did your counterpart do?"

Taiyang quickly develops a chalk white pallor, unable to even form sentences, Summer quickly goes to give him a comforting hug.

Ruby has a constant stream of tears pouring down her face at the realization, 'One great ninja was able to imprison the monster, but died in the process', and then the scene with Naruto and the markings on his abdomen, along with the whisker marks, how could she be so stupid not to notice it before?

She was so overwhelmed by the fact she had not one but two baby brothers and seeing them both for the first time completely erased her ability to think clearly.

"Dad.. h-how c-could you do this?" she asks in a tearful voice to no one in particular.

Ruby may have not meant it as a judgement of the Taiyang present, but nonetheless Tai felt like someone had given a punch to his gut when Ruby asked that question in her heartbroken tear-filled voice.

Yang's red eyes are filled with tears, she wants to deny it, that her father, regardless of the version, could ever do something like this to their own child, yet the truth is staring her right in the face.

Cinder thought she couldn't get any more surprised today, yet this universe continually does the impossible.

Not only does her counterpart have maternal affection for this child, but this child is also what is essentially a human jailer for a demonic monstrosity that killed her parents, if she knows herself, she has to imagine that the relationship she has with Naruto knowing these facts wasn't always the way it is.

Ironwood is somewhat surprised too, though he was suspecting something about this kid ever since learning about this village's black ops monitoring him, still, to think it was because of this. The attitude the villagers have towards him also was starting to make more sense.

Blake and Weiss are both trying to comfort their respective partners, knowing how hard this revelation must have hit the both of them.

The civilians, veterans, and the younger hunters/huntresses are all shell shocked at this news, this little boy is imprisoning such a large and powerful creature? For Oobleck, this gives the "runes" on Naruto's abdomen and his whisker marks context, they're more than likely connected to that.

Naruto is despondent, memories of his alienation and estrangement immediately coming to his mind.

"Everybody has been deceiving you ever since, didn't you find it strange? Why everyone hated you so much?"

Tears were running down Naruto's face, the revelation totally overwhelming him with despair, he starts shaking his head rapidly, "Dammit... Dammit! Dammit! Dammit! DAMMIT!"

Wisps of chakra start to envelop him.

"Oh, honey..." Summer says tearfully.

Yang wanted to go into that screen, protect Naruto, and beat the ever loving shit out of the man who's caused him pain so badly that it hurt, her anger must have been clearly visible to everyone around her as they were giving her a wide berth, all except Ruby and Blake, who sat closely with her and at the same time gave her a side hug from each side.

Yang notices and snaps out of her rage, after calming down she smiles and is touched deeply by the gesture, her sister and her girlfriend both trying to be her rock during something so upsetting.

It was too much for Taiyang, the pain he saw on his son's face and knowing his counterpart was responsible for it, he immediately looks to Marick, "Please, I know the rules of the multiverse, but please, is there any way for us to bring our sons back before all this happened? I can't just sit here and watch him suffer like this!"

Marick understood, by all the gods he understood, but he knew he could not give in to Tai's request, with not even a verbal reply, he just mournfully shakes his head.

Something inside Tai breaks at that moment, he puts his hands to his face and lets out his tears, Summer goes and gives him an even stronger hug than before, "It's not your fault Tai, do you hear me? You did nothing wrong, it's your counterpart who did this not you."

Tai knows this, but it doesn't make it any easier, he's glad his wife was there to comfort him though, being in her arms after so long is something he cherishes greatly, something he thought he'd never be able to do again.

Moekara looks at him with a pained expression, "Naruto..."

Mizuki looks absolutely manic now as he continues to tear apart Naruto's world. "Nobody accepts you! That's why Moekara hates you so much!"

Emerald snarls at him, "You lying rat bastard!" She knew this Cinder loves Naruto, and now this piece of shit was trying to cast doubt into Naruto's mind about one of the few people who actually cares about him.

Neo is disgusted by him, she has no qualms with murdering someone if they deserved it or if it was strictly business, but this was crossing a line for her.

Summer was outraged at the cruelty this 'Mizuki" was showing her son, what kind of monster could ever say something like that to a child? Her maternal instincts were kicking into overdrive and she wanted nothing more then to be there and beat this man to a pulp.

Taiyang was feeling similarly, only he wanted to strangle him and make him suffer for treating his boy like that.

Ruby glares hatefully at Mizuki, very few things would make her violent towards another person, but messing with her family, especially to this extent, was one of those things.

Yang is trembling in rage at the audacity of this man, first he lies to him, then uses him, puts him in danger by tricking him into stealing a military secret, and now he taunts and belittles him, she wanted to punch his face in until her fist came out the other side, her rage steadily increases until she feels a hand on her shoulder, and is absolutely surprised when it wasn't Ruby, Summer, her dad, or Blake, but her birth mother, Raven.

Raven looks at Yang, she doesn't smile in a comforting way, speaks no words of encouragement, but Yang knew by looking into her eyes, eyes that were subtly warm, that her mother was trying in her own withdrawn way to make Yang feel better and to calm down.

Yang doesn't know how to respond initially, in so much shock that she'd even do that, eventually however, she gives Raven a ghost of a smile and calms down.

Cinder was debating whether she wanted to flay or boil this man alive.

Moekara growls at Mizuki and tries to go after him but her wound keeps her back.

The words of the Third Hokage echo in her mind as she tries to recover her strength.

"Moekara, Naruto grew up without the love of his parents, everyone avoids him like the plague after what happened. That's why he keeps misbehaving, it's the only way for him to get any acknowledgement. He pretends to be tough but he really is hurting."

This makes everyone but especially the boy's family to look at his previous pranking scenes in a new light, for Cinder, Neo, Emerald, Nora, and Ren, this hardly surprised them, going through something similar, they know all too well how lonely it is as an orphan, and with Naruto he has the added bonus of being the scapegoat for a brutal massacre.

Summer covers her mouth and her eyes start to shine, "Of course, how could I have been so stupid? His pranks were an obvious cry for attention! When you're that starved for social interaction, almost any form of attention is worth it just so you won't be ignored."

Tai comfortably puts his hand on her shoulder, "Sum, it's not your fault, we were all so overwhelmed with emotion on even seeing those two and at the prospect of viewing their lives that we didn't pick up on the subtler details, I think we're doing okay considering the circumstances."

Summer nods, but still can't help but feel awful about it.

Mizuki starts rapidly spinning his shuriken with a sickening murderous expression, "DIE NARUTO!" he lets loose the shuriken and it starts flying rapidly towards Naruto.

Naruto snaps out of his grief and starts to frantically move around to look for a place to hide, but finding nothing.

Moekara grimaces but has a look of determination, "NARUTO GET DOWN!"/"GET DOWN!" Moekara and most of the audience yell.

The screen fades to black only to cut to Moekara in a prone position breathing heavily, with said monstrosity of a shuriken pierced into her back.

Naruto is absolutely gobsmacked.

He isn't the only one, even Emerald is surprised. Cinder's mouth is dry from how much she's been opening it in shock but she can't help it, never in a thousand years would she have ever expected to form a bond that strong with someone.

"W-why?" Naruto rasps out.

Moekara grimaces a bit before answering, "Because you and I are the same. After my parents died, nobody paid attention to me or gave me any support. I wasn't a good student in school, I acted out, even joined a local gang and did some bad things, all because I wanted people to notice me, to know my name and know I wasn't some gutter trash kid they could just disregard, and the gang leader promised me that I could be more than that, I thought at one point that status and power were all that mattered, I couldn't get noticed through excellence at school or any other way, so I kept on doing stupid things, it was so hard."

Tears start to hit Naruto's face as he looks up in awe of his sensei revealing something so personal to her.

"Isn't that right, Naruto? You felt so lonely and you suffered inside, right?"

Naruto's eyes widen further and Moekara can tell she hit the nail on the head, she looks down in shame as tears keep falling.

"I'm sorry, Naruto. If I had been more responsible, maybe you wouldn't have suffered so much."

There are no words that could properly describe the atmosphere in the room at this moment, but if anyone there had to choose an expression, it would have likely been 'Holy shit!'

Cinder is completely non-responsive to the verbal prompts of the people near her, while Summer's tears intensify at this confession, this has to be wrong. Surely a trick by the beings responsible for this whole charade, she would not fall for this pretty lie! It has to be a lie! Tears sting at the corner of her eyes as she looks down.

Love was nothing but an illusion, a foul and evil one that tricked the person into believing there's some deep and meaningful connection between people, but there isn't, only manipulation, pain, and ulterior motives await those who foolishly fall for it.

She looks up as tears stream down her face as she looks at the screen, and yet, when she stared in to her counterparts eyes, she could not deny the bond she created with Naruto, they were eyes she once thought she found in her former mentor, Rhodes, now it seems her counterpart plays the role of him in this universe.

She truly didn't know what to even make of that, was this some sort of *subtle* hint from this Gegenwart? Surely such paths were long closed to her, she had chosen her route ages ago, power was the only way for her to have any meaningful life now, right?

Mizuki begins chuckling lowly.

"What the hell's so funny you bastard?!" Yang shouts, anger couldn't even accurately begin to describe how she felt about this man.

"Don't make me laugh! Moekara has always hated you, ever since you killed her parents! A demon like you can not form real attachments! She's just saying all of this to get the scroll back."

If it was possible everyone present is sure Yang would be breathing fire by now and the room would be shining a ethereal light from Ruby's eyes, but this time it was Blake who spoke.

"Stop lying to him! He's not the fox, he is a person! A child! Take your misplaced anger and prejudice and shove it up your ass!" She yells passionately.

Her parents look at her in shock, she doesn't typically cuss, but this situation is highly volatile so they understand, what's more they're happy that her time with the White Fang has not dampened her passion for disenfranchised people.

Yang hugged Blake for sticking up for her brother, even if he wasn't really there

In fact all of the Faunus present, even Adam, could sympathize with Naruto's plight whole-heartedly, they know all too well what it's like to be judged and to be treated with prejudice because of circumstances that were beyond their control.

Naruto looks at both of them uncertainly, not knowing who to trust he slowly backs away from Moekara and bolts for it in the woods.

"Naruto.." Moekara says shocked, dread spreads throughout her entire body, "NARUTOOO!" she screams, knowing what could happen if he were found by someone other than herself.

Mizuki flashes to the ground chuckling, "Naruto is not the kind of kid to change his mind."

The scene transitions to Naruto running at full speed throughout the forest, Mizuki's voice can be heard over his running, "He will take revenge against our village using that scroll!"

"Didn't you see his eyes? Those are the eyes of a demon fox!"

"Would you give it a break with this demon fox shit? You're even giving me a headache over this." Mercury complains.

Most were annoyed with how he put it but could agree with the general sentiment, dehumanizing and alienating anyone was wrong, but dehumanizing a child was particularly evil, it befuddled all but the Faunus and Ozma/Salem in the room how a group of people could perceive such an innocent little boy as a monster.

Summer was once again pained by his hurt expression, he no doubt felt lied to and manipulated, and as he should! It's unbelievably cruel to have a child be hated all their life never even knowing the reason why. She didn't even want to think of how bad his self-esteem was after all these years of abuse, but she knows her kids, even ones taken from her and put in a different dimension, she knows he would never use that scroll to destroy an entire village.

Moekara carefully takes the shuriken out of her back, she grits her teeth in fury at Mizuki's words, "No...Naruto... isn't like that at all!" As she says this she throws the huge shuriken back at Mizuki who nonchalantly moves out of the way of it's path.

"Hmph, All I want is to kill Naruto and get the scroll. I'll take care of you later!"

"Why the hell are you saying that like he's some bug on your floor?! HE'S A KID YOU FILTHY ANIMAL! MY SON!" Taiyang roars

Yang recognizes the pain in her father's voice while he shouts this and goes to give him a hug to calm him down while Ruby also goes to comfort him, Summer looks on at this with a smile.

Taiyang notices and realizes how much he lost his cool, he looks down in regret, "I'm sorry girls, I couldn't help it."

"We understand Dad!" Yang says passionately, "Yeah!" Ruby nods fiercely,

"It's hard for us too Dad, we feel powerless to do anything, I can't help Naruto and take down this bad guy, and I also can't talk to Sasuke and ask him why he seems so sad and depressed, it's so hard!" Ruby says sadly.

"I know girls, I know, we can stop this and take a break if you want?", almost immediately they both look at him with determined eyes, "NO!" They say simultaneously, "Look, it's tough, I won't deny it, but there is no way in hell we're missing out on an opportunity like this!" Taiyang, Summer, and even Raven look at them in pride for their resolution.

Moekara struggles to get up as she glares at Mizuki's disappearing form, "I won't let you!" she growls and goes after him.

The scene then transitions to the Hokage building, inside the Third is looking at the entire scene through his crystal ball and is horrified as what he is seeing. "Good grief! Mizuki has a big mouth! Naruto feels worse than he's ever felt, he might unleash the power locked up inside him. The Scroll of Sealing is now with him, there's a slight chance he might actually release the Nine-Tailed Demon Fox sealed inside of him! If that happens..."

"You're all fucked" Roman says with a Cheshire grin, Neo silently snickers next to him.

"Huh, Ozpin even keeps secrets in this world too, who'd have thought?" Yang asks cheekily.

"MS. XIAO-LONG!" Glynda yells sternly, Ozma puts a hand up though to say it's okay, "Let it go Glynda, she has a right to be angry."

Ruby uncomfortably taps on Yang's shoulder, "You know Yang, we can't really be that angry with Ozpin now that we've lied multiple times by now about serious things, his lie still stings, but we can't hate him anymore."

Yang contemplates on that and frowns, she's right, leave it to Ruby to say that, and if Yang is being truly honest with herself, she had been lying longer than the rest of her team, when she chose to keep the secret of her mother being a maiden, to tell the truth she had no idea why she even keeps that a secret to this day, a sense of loyalty? Respecting her mother's wishes not to be involved? Not wanting to reunite with her again so soon after their emotional goodbye, not wanting to feel that pain again? She looks to her right and finds her mother, then chuckles, so much for that idea.

While the scale and scope of the lie Ozpin is responsible for is much grander than theirs, and while it still makes her angry, she knows she cannot righteously judge him anymore. She looks to Oz.

"What you did was still not okay, not even by a long shot, but we've lied ourselves plenty by now, I can't judge you anymore."

Ozma is shocked, blown away was perhaps a more apropos description, thinking of nothing else to say he merely inclines his head, "Thank you, Yang."

They all look back to the screen.

The screen then transitions back to Moekara, who is desperately running tree to tree in search of Naruto, she smiles widely when she finally sees an orange little dot in the distance and catches up with him.

"Naruto! Everything that Mizuki said was a lie! Don't believe it for a minute! Hurry up and hand me the scroll, Mizuki is after it!"

Naruto grunts and rams his body straight into Moekara's abdomen, Moekara's eyes and mouth widen in pain, and she falls from the tree, her body hitting the ground like a sack of potatoes.

Stunned silence follows that scene, something wasn't quite right here.

"I-it can't be" she says in a pain filled voice, "How is it, Naruto? How..." Moekara goes up in a puff of smoke, only to be replaced by Mizuki, "How did you know I wasn't Moekara?"

Naruto chuckles, pleased with himself, and then goes up in a puff of smoke, only to be replaced by Moekara, "Because I'm Moekara."

"HA! You got played hard you fool. How does it feel to be conned?" Roman asks in a lighthearted tone.

Everyone else either chuckles or laughs at Mizuki's misfortune.

Salem is impressed with this, "Well done Cinder."

Cinder isn't used to a compliment from her mistress without the other shoe dropping so she isn't quite sure how to respond to this.

Mizuki snorts, "I see." looking around for Naruto he asks "What's in it for you to protect the one who killed your family?"

"I'm not gonna let an ignorant idiot like you get that scroll!" Moekara proclaims.

As they have this exchange Naruto is listening intently behind a tree, truly wanting to know the truth.

"You're the idiot, Naruto is the same as me!" Mizuki says haughtily.

"The same?" Moekara asks bemused.

"Anyone can do whatever he or she wants after they have the scroll, there is no way that monster, that Fox Spirit won't take advantage of the power of that scroll!" Mizuki says in a long winded fashion.

"Yeah... you're right" She claims

"What?!" Cinder questions loudly, she immediately realizes she says that out loud however and the whole room has their attention on her.

It's quite possible she invented a new shade of red with how embarrassed she is at all this attention, when she sees Emerald she notices a knowing half smirk form on her face.

She looks away until they all focus back on the screen, which most do, except for Summer, Ruby, and Yang.

"What?" She grounds out.

"I'm just staring in wonder, the witch has a heart after all." Yang says in a mocking shocked tone.

"It's none of your business!" Cinder says in a biting tone.

"Anything concerning my brother is fully my business!" Yang says in a more challenging tone.

"Yang, calm down please, I'm sure it's a very confusing experience for Cinder." Summer says placatingly

"Mom she-!" But noticing the pleading look from her mother was enough to acquiesce to her wishes.

Ruby was still looking at her, shocked, it took Yang taking her arm and tugging it for her to fully turn around and pay attention to the screen.

Naruto widens his eyes and puts head down in grief, "I guess it was true all along! Moekara Sensei never really cared for me at all!"

"...if he was the Demon Fox" Naruto eyes widen in shock once again.

"But Naruto is different! I know that he is an exceptional student. He works so hard, he thinks I don't notice but I do, he also can be single-minded and clumsy at the same time. No one accepts him, but he knows the meaning of human suffering. He is not the Demon Fox Spirit. He's Naruto Uzumaki! Of the Village Hidden in The Leaves!"

Naruto's tears constantly stream from his face as he hears confirmation that a person, and not just any person, but his sensei, truly cares for him.

Nearly no one in the audience escaped that scene with a dry eye, Naruto's family especially, even Raven was touched by this moment.

"Thank you other Cinder, for being there when no one else was." Ruby tearfully says.

"Yeah." Yang simply says in a tearful voice.

The Cinder in the room was trying and failing not to cry once again, while power is still her end goal, maybe she was wrong that human connection was false?

Mizuki is unimpressed, "Tch. You are so gullible Moekara!" He unclips his giant shuriken from his back, "I was gonna take you down later, but I have changed my mind." He starts spinning the shuriken fast, "DIE!", he charges towards her, intent on taking her life.

She bows her head in acceptance, "I guess this is the end for me."

In the middle of his charge he is taken completely by surprise when Naruto charges forward and knees him in the face sending both Mizuki and his shuriken flying, Naruto carefully lands in front of Mizuki's downed form.

Cheers erupt in the hall, his family now shedding proud and happy tears instead of the sad tears they had been shedding previously.

The music chosen to represent this moment made the scene that much more great.

Naruto's countenance is dark and furious, "If you ever lay a hand on Moekara Sensei, I'll kill you!"

Everyone was taken aback by Naruto's words and facial expression, though they fully believed his words when he spoke them.

Cinder was trying to extinguish the part of herself that felt touched by this, but could not.

Clearly embarrassed but trying to blow it off Mizuki tries to dismiss him, "Shut up! I can take care of a kid like you with a single blow!"

Naruto doesn't change his resolute expression and puts his index and middle finger together on each hand and puts them into a sign of a cross, "Why don't you try then, you hack? I'll strike you back a thousand-fold!"

Mizuki's cool facade shatters at this and he is almost foaming at the mouth, "WHY DON'T YOU TRY IT THEN?! SHOW ME WHAT YOU CAN DO, DEMON FOX!"

Moekara recognizes the hand sign Naruto is forming and gasps in disbelief.

"SHADOW CLONE JUTSU!"

In almost an instant, there are hundreds of Naruto's surrounding Mizuki, some are even observing from the trees ready to strike at a moment's notice.

"Oh my gods..." Summer says in awe, Taiyang not too far behind her, Ruby and Yang have the eyes of dinner plates.

Sun is beyond impressed with Naruto's ability to make that many clones, he's not even sure if he could make that many, though Naruto has definitely given him the inspiration to practice to do so.

Cinder is very impressed as well and has a smile on her face, as expected of someone under her tutelage.

"By the Brothers, this kid's talent potential is through the roof, they're lucky as hell Naruto was never given the same chances as everyone else, he'd probably be running the village by now!" Roman exclaims, Neo mutely nods, also in disbelief.

Moekara looks on in awe, 'Naruto! you've.. Those aren't just images but actual clones! That's an advanced technique!"

Mizuki is overwhelmed and horrified "W-what's this?" he looks around at all of the clones knowing he is outclassed, he eventually loses his balance and land on his butt.

"What's the matter?" "Come on!" "Weren't you gonna get me in one blow?!" "I'm right here!"

All of the Naruto's smile wickedly, "In that case... I'll come to you!"

The screen cuts to the sky but in the background numerous ass kicking noises could be heard, it goes on for so long that night transitions into day.

"Ha! Someone had some pent up frustration he needed to let out!" Yang cheekily says, Ruby laughs.

Taiyang shakes his head in amusement but concurs, his son definitely has a lot of anger that he buries inside of him, it concerns Tai, keeping something buried for so long is not healthy, he can only hope his son doesn't always repress his issues. Summer was thinking similar thoughts, they both look at each other worryingly.

It transitions to Naruto with his hand nervously behind his head, he chuckles, "I kinda got carried away, Moekara Sensei, are you ok?"

Moekara snaps out of her trance she was in while watching Naruto work, "Y-yeah..." She smiles 'He's really something, maybe it is true. Maybe he will surpass all the Hokage leaders...'

"Tch. Naturally, you're the one training him after all." Cinder says with a smile.

Emerald snorts and smiles, "So that's what we're doing now? All positive comments you make about Naruto are going to be covered up with your egotism so you don't lose face?" She teases.

Cinder blushes, "S-shut up." She says, clearly embarrassed.

The room erupts in laughter and chuckles.

Moekara groans a little in pain, "Naruto, come over here. I'd like to give you something.

The screen transitions to a circle of shinobi fretting that they haven't found Naruto.

"Has anyone found Naruto yet?" "No." "Damn, this is going to be bad..."

The Third Hokage slowly approaches them, "There's no need to worry anymore."

They all look at the Third, surprised, "Hokage-Sama!"

The Third has a knowing smile, "He'll be back soon."

The screen transitions to black, Naruto's voice can clearly be heard however, "Sensei... how much longer?"

"Okay! You may open your eyes now!"

Naruto opens his eyes to find his goggles in Moekara's hands, Moekara herself is also missing her headband.

"Oh Cinder, that is so sweet." Summer says tearfully. Nobody else really noticed what Summer was talking about however.

The sun is rising as the break of dawn ends, on Naruto's head is Moekara's headband, Naruto is just now processing what she did, and his mouth is wide in shock.

Moekara smiles, "Congratulations, on your graduation." Naruto is still non-responsive, "In celebration, we'll have ramen tonight!" She declares proudly.

Ruby sniffles as she cries, "Wow, other Cinder is so cool."

Both Tai and Summer look on proudly at Naruto, and are extremely grateful that he has someone like that universe's Cinder in his life.

Blake and Weiss smile at this too, growing attached to their teammate's sibling.

Ironwood puts his hand to his chin in thought, "Interesting, they must have deadlines for last minute graduates, in a way, Mizuki did end up helping him graduate, though only so far as helping him get the scroll, learning an ability from the scroll and applying it to a real world situation? That was all Naruto, I agree with this Cinder's decision, he is ready, at least to graduate past this level, they must have an even more advanced program for all the graduates."

Marick grimaces at that, this world is darker than they think it is, though they'd find that out soon enough.

Naruto is overwhelmed with emotion, his mouth slowly curves into a smile, Moekara looks at him in worry, hoping he didn't use up all of his energy.

"MOEKARA SENSEI!" He screams and tackles her to the ground, "Ow! That hurts!" Moekara exclaims. Naruto starts crying tears of joy as he holds on to her.

"Awww" Almost everyone says, Cinder was trying with all of her being not to show how much this was affecting her, only for Emerald to turn around and tease her more much to her chagrin.

'Naruto, I was going to lecture you that the road gets more difficult now that you're a Ninja. But I guess I'll have to wait to tell you that until we get to the ramen stand.'

The screen turns off and the lights come back on in the room, many people sat in their seats reflecting on the events of that piece of the universe.

Marick takes his place back on the Dais, "Phew, okay, we started out pretty emotionally heavy, I'm gonna have to make some contacts about something I have in mind, but before I do, are there any questions about what we just witnessed?"

A few hands popped up, which is what Marick was expecting, "Okay, how about you go first Sun?"

Sun nods, "So obviously Naruto learns an ability similar to my own, but can I ask why it is considered a forbidden jutsu?" Summer, Tai, Ruby, and Yang both lower their hands as that is something they all agreed they would ask about just in case either three out of the foor didn't get picked on.

Marick nods at this, "So fortunately, the Shadow Clone Jutsu is not considered an immoral one, though it is dangerous, very much so. If a shinobi only has average chakra reserves they have to be very careful about not making too many copies of themselves, if they do there's a very real possiblity they could die."

"WHAT?!" Tai, Summer, Ruby, Yang, and Qrow shout simultaneously.

"Just how much chakra does our boy have?" Taiyang asks

Marick laughs, "A lot, trust me on this one, if Naruto were to die from anything, Shadow Clone Jutsu would be the last cause of death."

That relieved them somewhat, still, from what they've seen of Naruto, they know he'll want to show off this ability as much as he can, it's the first major ability he ever learned after all.

Marick picks Salem to ask the next question, "Is the Nine-Tailed Fox one of a kind or are there others like it?"

Marick inwardly curses, of course she would be the one to ask something like that.

"That is not something I'm comfortable answering at this time, suffice to say the Shinobi world has an almost endless amount of mysteries to it, and we've barely scratched the surface of it."

Salem is somewhat annoyed he dodged the question, but nonetheless says nothing more.

Marick points to Winter "Yes, Winter?"

"Thank you, is it safe to say the Village Hidden in The Leaves is not the only village with ninja in them?"

Marick smirks, "That's an understatement, let's just say the history of this world is extremely bloody, unless two villages have treaties signed with one another, warfare is the assumed status quo."

This alarms quite a few people in the room, once again the family of Naruto and Sasuke are horrified of the world the First Scribe put the boy into.

There were no more questions after that, Marick nods, "If you are still hungry and/or thirsty please, do not hesitate to get more, there is also a library that contains information about numerous different world should you be interested, there's also public baths segregated by gender of course, trust me when I say there's nothing quite like it. While you are mingling, I have some people I need to get in contact with as I have an idea that I'm sure even Gegenwart himself would approve of."

Marick poofs out of existence leaving many curious what he means by that, but nonetheless many do as he recommends, eager to wind down after that experience.

A/N: Phew, that was over and done with, I'm sorry this took months to do, but whenever I commit to something I become somewhat of a perfectionist, even when it comes to something as a react fanfic. I didn't want to half-ass on the reactions, especially given the emotional weight added by the fact that the two main characters in Naruto are also related to the Rose/Xiao-Long family in my version. I'm sorry if you're used to lighter toned react fics but I couldn't do that this chapter, it simply wouldn't have been right, I've seen adults react to the first episode of Naruto pretty emotionally, and this is with the foreknowledge it's a shonen manga/anime, now imagine how people would react if they were watching it like it's a real event, and not only that, the two main characters' family is watching it.

I really wanted the reactions to mean something, so this obviously took most of my energy while writing this chapter. Speaking of the chapters, next time I have a special idea in mind which I'm sure most of you will understand once you see it, so stay tuned!
