"You big, blonde bastard!" Theo shouted in excitement. Hermione giggled as she leaned into Draco's side. The moment they had apparated and walked back into the house, Theo had approached them and demanded to know why they both looked so obscenely happy. Blaise and Pansy were walking through the floo within moments and they announced their engagement to their closest friends. "You kept this a secret?! How did you manage that? We've been watching and waiting!"

"Believe it or not Theo, there are some things I am able to keep from you," Draco chuckled.

"Did anyone know?" Pansy smiled, as she held Hermione's hand, appraising the ring that lay on her finger. "This doesn't look like one of the Malfoy family rings."

"That's because it's not," Draco chuckled, kissing the top of Hermione's head as she looked up at him with the smile he knew would drive away more dementors than any Patronus he would ever be able to conjure. "And only my father and Potter knew."

"I'm sorry did you say that Potter knew?" Theo bellowed, throwing his hands up in the air. Charlie chuckled, shaking his head while he poured everyone drinks. "You went and told Potter and you didn't tell me? ME?!"

"Potter is family to her Theo," Draco rolled his eyes. Hermione leaned into him more. When he had told her that he had gone to speak to Harry before he had proposed, she had been touched by his thoughtfulness. She had never thought that anyone would ever go to such lengths for her, especially Draco who barely had a tolerable relationship with Harry as it was.

"Excuse me! She is MY family. She's my sister."

"You're shit at keeping secrets from her Theo," Blaise chuckled. "Of course he didn't tell you."

"Because I'm a good fucking friend," Theo grumbled crossing his arms over his chest as he pouted.

"Ignore Theo," Pansy spoke, waving him off. "This isn't a family heirloom? You didn't give her the Malfoy engagement ring? Why?"

"Because we are going against tradition and setting our own path," Draco chuckled. "I figured that deserved a new ring."

"I'm sure Lucius loved that," Theo smirked, sipping his drink.

"He actually was very supportive. He said it was poetic."

Hermione smiled looking at the ring on her left hand. After the shock and beauty of the proposal, Draco had explained to her the story of her ring. The deep wine gemstone, almandine garnet, was a jewel that had been locked away in the Black family vault for almost a century. It had belonged to Isla Black, who had been blasted off of the family tree due to falling in love with a muggle. The symbolism of the stone was everything to Hermione. "It's perfect…"

"It's still a family stone heirloom," Draco spoke, taking Hermione's hand from Pansy and kissing her knuckles. "A Black family heirloom."

"Is it a ruby? Very Gryffindor of you," Blaise chuckled, winking at the two of them.

"Almandine Garnet," Draco nodded. "The stone itself symbolizes the unity of passion and serenity. It represents a promise that you will unconditionally love and protect your partner.

"Damn that is… bloody romantic," Theo chuckled.

"I took the stone to a muggle jewel to have set," Draco added.

"A muggle jeweler?" Blaise asked with a raised eyebrow. He was impressed with how thought out Draco had gone with this.

"Yes," Draco nodded. "But my father and I made adjustments to it."

"Adjustments? What does that mean?" Charlie asked curiously. Gently Draco took the ring off her finger to show the inside of the ring. The others peered in closely to get a look at the engraved markings.

"Did you choose your runes?" Lucius asked, looking up from the table where he was preparing for the ritual.

"Yes," Draco nodded rolling his sleeves up and setting the parchment down. "Love, Protection, Eternity."

"Good choice son," Lucius nodded, rolling his own sleeves up. "I would ask if your bride-to-be would know what these symbols mean, but this is Hermione we are talking about. She is the Brightest Witch of your Age." Draco couldn't help the laugh that left his lips as he lit the candles on the table before setting his wand down. Lucius picked up the knife in his hand and turned to face Draco. "Are you ready?"

"More than ready."

"So you and Lucius… performed blood magic to imbed Hermione's muggle engagement ring… with magical properties," Theo said, a slow smirk crawling across his face.

"It can never be cursed, never be unwillingly taken from her," Draco smiled down at Hermione. "And after the soul binding, it will act as a tether to harness the magic, just like my wedding band will."

"Wait," Charlie said with wide eyes as Draco slipped the ring back onto her delicate finger with a kiss. "Did you just say soul bond?"

"He did," Hermione nodded, smiling just a girl so in love. "We discussed it and this is what we want. We know it is rare but... He's my soulmate. There is no one I would rather bind my soul and magic to… he's already a part of me."

"And she is a part of me," Draco nodded in agreement. "We don't want to be separated in this life or the next."

"You guys," Theo looked at them full of emotion and awe. "You two are going to make me cry."

"Such a fucking baby," Pansy rolled her eyes but pulled Hermione into a tight hug. "I'm so happy for you both."

"Thank you," Hermione breathed, hugging her back just as tight.

"Congrats mate," Blaise spoke softly as he gave Draco a tight hug, patting his back. "You got the girl."

"I know," Draco smiled. As the adults conversed and celebrated together, they heard the floo sound and the roar of the fire filling the room.

"Mummy! Daddy!" Lyra exclaimed in excitement, a wide smile crossing her face as she ran over and hugged both of their legs. Draco chuckled, scooping her up and holding her in his arms. Lyra giggled as he peppered her face with kisses.

"Hello little dragon," Hermione smiled as she watched Draco and Lyra. "Did you have fun with Nana and Papa?"

"Yes! Nana and Papa took me to see the ballerinas! I got to wear a pretty dress," Lyra babbled and then gasped. "Oh, mummy can I be a ballerina? Please please?"

"She never took her eyes off of them. She was completely captivated," Lucius chuckled. "She showed much more enthusiasm than her father ever showed for the ballet, much to Narcissa's delight."

"I was a boy and I was bored to tears," Draco chuckled, rolling his eyes.

"How was your weekend holiday?" Narcissa asked, smiling as she watched the little family.

"It was perfect," Hermione smiled, running her fingers through her daughter's curls.

"You went without me," Lyra pouted looking at Draco. "Did you go see the Dragons?"

"No little dragon," Draco chuckled, kissing her temple. "Mummy and I took a little trip to Hogwarts."

"Hogwarts?" Lyra gasped in awe. "Uncle Theo says that's where I'm going to go to school!"

"Yes my love," Hermione chuckled, smiling at how her daughter's eyes lit up at the mere mention of the wizarding school. "When you turn 11 you'll get the same letter that we all got."

"Why did you go to Hogwarts?" Lyra asked inquisitively.

"Well," Draco smiled, looking at Hermione before turning back to look at their daughter. "I wanted to your mummy somewhere special and ask her a very important question. You see, your mummy hit me in the face once-"

"MUMMY NO!" Lyra gasped covering her mouth with her hands and everyone laughed at the look of horror in her eyes.

"She did Lyra, right in the nose," Draco smirked and the curly-haired witch rolled her eyes. "So I thought I would take her back to the spot and maybe she would apologize to me by saying yes to my question."

"Did you say yes mummy?" Lyra asked looking at her mother before turning back to Draco. "Did she say yes?"

"Did you Hermione?" Draco smirked, his silver eyes sparkling brighter than she had ever seen. Her smile grew soft, loving as she rested her palm on his cheek, her ring showing to everyone in the room.

"Yes love," she spoke, her voice full of love and devotion. "I said yes."

Narcissa gasped as she saw the ring on Hermione's finger. As she turned to look at Lucius, she saw the small knowing smile that rested on his lips. "You knew!"

"Of course I knew," Lucius chuckled, taking her hand and kissing it. "Your son made it very clear I was not allowed to tell anyone. He wanted it to be a surprise."

"And yet he told Harry bloody Potter," Theo grumbled and Charlie laughed rubbing his back.

"You're getting married?" Narcissa asked, turning to Hermione and Draco with unshed tears in her eyes. Her smile grew even more as Hermione nodded.

"Yes, mum we are," Draco nodded, his smile widening even more.

"Oh, this is wonderful!" Narcissa clasped her hands, practically launching forward and hugging Hermione, Draco, and Lyra tight. "We have to throw a party, an engagement celebration. I'll need to contact everyone, write up an announcement for the Prophet-"

"Mum," Draco chuckled. "I won't fight the announcement in the Prophet if we can settle for an engagement dinner instead of a party."

"Alright fine, fine. An engagement dinner will do," Narcissa waved him off, clasping Hermione's hands in her own, gently looking at the ring. "Darling you will make an impeccable bride."

"Thank you Narcissa," Hermione blushed, looking down at her ring again.

"I believe a toast is in order," Blaise announced. "Missy!"

"Mister Blaise!" Missy squealed as she popped into the room.

"Missy, would you do us a favor and grab the most expensive champagne?" Blaise smirked. "Hermione and Draco are getting married."

"Oh, Miss Hermione! Oh, Missy is so happy! Mister Draco not lonely anymore, no Miss Hermione!" Missy clapped and with a snap of her fingers, a very old and expensive-looking bottle of champagne appeared along with eight flutes. Blaise popped the bottle, causing Lyra to squeal in delight, and poured glasses for everyone. Draco held Lyra and Hermione close, smiling at everyone around him. This was the moment that truly mattered to him. No matter what came next, he would never forget celebrating this moment with his family.

"To Hermione and Draco," Blaise spoke, raising his glass.

"About bloody time," Theo smirked, causing everyone to chuckle. Draco leaned down and kissed Hermione sweetly. "Cheers!"

The Engagement of the Season: Starcrossed Lovers Draco Malfoy and Hermione Granger to Wed

When the announcement finally ran in the Prophet, Hermione and Draco were still in what the others considered to be a lust-filled bubble. It had gotten so bad that Pansy and Blaise took Lyra for sleepovers and Charlie and Theo kept her entertained. When the lovebirds did finally come up for air, it was rare to see the family unit separated from one another.

"I mean, at least they aren't calling you a deatheater anymore," Blaise chuckled, sipping his coffee as Draco held a giggling Lyra in his lap, helping her with her breakfast.

"I thought the announcement was quite lovely," Pansy noted, looking through bridal magazines. Knowing that Hermione had no inclination to plan the wedding on her own, Pansy and Narcissa had graciously stepped in to help. Hermione had never been more grateful frankly.

"Of course it was lovely," Theo scoffed. "Draco and Hermione are now Wizarding Royalty practically. Your subjects adore you M'lady and they tolerate you Draco."

"He's not wrong," Charlie pointed out. "Though the royalty insinuation might be a bit of a stretch. Our Hermione is far too stubborn to be a Queen."

"Papa says I'm a princess," Lyra smiled brightly, giggling when Draco kissed her little cheek.

"And he is absolutely right little love," Theo crooned. "You are the most beautiful princess in all of the land. I, your ever valiant and loyal knight, swear my sword and life to you fair Lyra."

"Uncle Theo," Lyra laughed. "You're so silly."

"Only for you," Theo winked, taking a bite of her breakfast. "So Draco how is the hou-" Theo stopped, eyes widening at the looks he was receiving from Draco and Hermione. "OW!" Rubbing the back of his head, he looked over at Pansy who had just hit him with a magazine. "That was uncalled for."

"You were being an idiot," Pansy rolled his eyes. "It was completely called for."

"Well aren't you just a joy to be around this morning," Theo scoffed. "I offer my ancestral home for these breakfasts and yet here you are, wounding me."

"Always so dramatic, Nott," Blaise chuckled. "Draco, you still have that meeting, yes?"

"The meeting," Draco nodded, kissing the top of Lyra's head. "I should be back before dinner. Think you and your lovely Pansy can keep my girls entertained?"

"What am I, a goblin?" Theo admonished and then held his hand up at Hermione began to say something. "Yes, I realize that goblins are creatures and they have feelings too. Please do not start a crusade and start some other club with a ridiculous acronym like Spew."

"I was only going to say that you are much more than a goblin Theo," Hermione smiled and Theo immediately brightened up.

"And don't you forget it, Granger."

Draco left for his meeting and Pansy commandeered Hermione for wedding talk while the boys kept Lyra occupied with a swim in the pool. Even though she could hear the squeals of her daughter, laughter from her friends, and hear Pansy's incessant questions about her thoughts of certain dresses, her mind was a million miles away. The house hunt that she and Draco had been on had been unsuccessful so far. While staying with Theo and Charlie at Nott Manor was a wonderful option for them at the moment, she knew that Draco really wanted a home for the three of them and she couldn't fault him for that. She wanted a home to make memories of their own with him too. She was in the middle of one of her favorite fantasies when Draco kissed the top of her head.

"Sorry Parkinson," Draco smirked, speaking quietly so that Lyra wouldn't hear him. "I need to steal my fiance away for a bit."

"I see the meeting went well?" Pansy smiled, a gleam of excitement in her eyes.

"Very well," Draco winked. "Paperwork is all drawn up and ready to go. Just a few last minutes things to take care of first."

"So thorough of you Draco," Pansy chuckled. "I'm so proud of you."

With a soft chuckle, Draco helped Hermione up and led her out of the room. She was confused as to what was going on. He had told her that morning in their bed that he had a meeting and he wasn't sure how it was going to go. She had assumed it was about the acquisition of his new team but now she was beginning to think she was possibly wrong. "Draco? What's going on?"

"Do you trust me?"

"Of course I do."

"Then hang on tight," Draco smiled, pulling her close. Hermione held on tight and felt the familiar pull of apparition as they popped out of Nott Manor. When they landed, Hermione took in her surroundings looking around.

"Draco where are we?"

"I want to show you something," Draco smiled, taking her hand and walking with her. Hermione watched as they approached what seemed to be a wall with vines overgrown all over it. When a gate appeared out of thin air, she was shocked. Opening the door, Draco gestured for her to enter. She hesitated for only a moment before walking through and a gasp fell from her lips. Standing before her was a home that she had only seen in her dreams. A small, modest historic estate stood in front of her. Vines wound their way up the walls, large windows to allow the light to flood in. A small fountain in the garden that was overgrown with wildflowers.

"How did… is this… what?" Hermione stammered, turning and looking at Draco who was smiling brightly. "Where are we?"

"Come with me," Draco chuckled, taking her hand again and pulling her along. "I want to show you the inside." As they walked into the house, a strange feeling overtook Hermione. It clung to her like comfort, warm and inviting. As he walked her around, telling her all about the house and how many rooms it had, how open the dining room was, how there was plenty of room for a young family that would be growing, the feeling in the pit of stomach continue to grow. "And while I know all of that sounds lovely to you, there's one more room I want to show you." With a smile, Draco stopped in front of a pair of double doors and opened them wide. Her eyes filled with tears as she walked in and gasped.

"Draco…" Her voice cracked as she looked around, taking in the rows and rows of empty shelves in the library. Her eyes fell on the fireplace with a pair of cozy chairs in front of it. They traveled to the large windows, overlooking the gardens. She melted into Draco's arms as he came up behind her and wrapped his arms around her, kissing her neck gently.

"Can you see it?" Draco murmured, holding her close. "Reading in the library while watching our children play in the gardens… late-night stories curled up all together in front of the fire. This room would be the heart of our home…" Home. Suddenly the feeling in her gut made sense. It was the feeling of home. "Hermione… this could be our home… all you have to say is yes."

"Our home… yes."

As it turned out, the home that Hermione and Draco had just signed all the paperwork for and received the keys to was located in Wiltshire not far from Nott Manor or Malfoy Manor. Draco had never had a meeting that morning. Blaise had a client come in and had told the Wizard about a home he was trying to sell. Blaise had told Draco and the rest led them to this exact moment. When they arrived back at the manor, they informed the four adults waiting impatiently for them that they had in fact bought the house. Pansy immediately offered her services in turning the home into whatever they wanted it to be and Hermione had immediately agreed.

"Nott, are you crying?" Blaise scoffed, looking at him while he refilled his drink. "You had to know this was coming."

"Of course I knew it was coming," Theo rolled his eyes, wiping at them nonchalantly. "Doesn't mean I can't be sad about it."

"Theo…" Hermione smiled softly, taking her hand in his. No words had to be spoken between the two of them. They already knew what each of them wanted to say to each other. Offering her a small smile and a squeeze of her hand, Theo kissed her forehead.

"I'm so happy for you love," Theo whispered.

"I know."

"It's the end of an era," Theo chuckled warmly. "I guess we all had to grow up sometime."

"This will always be the Hundred Acre Woods to me, Theo," Hermione whispered. "You will always be my Christopher Robin."

While the conversation had brought on a few tears and many emotions, everyone was very aware that the next conversation they would have to have was going to be the most difficult. When Lyra had been told about Pansy and Blaise moving out, she had not reacted very well. The adults in the house could not imagine how she was going to fair after finding out that she too would be leaving Nott Manor in the near future.

"Little Dragon," Draco spoke softly, sitting on the floor with Hermione. "Will you come here for a moment and sit with me?"

"Ok daddy," Lyra giggled, clutching her dragon and going and sitting in front of her parents and smiling at them. As usual, Hercules was not far behind her, strutting into the room and curling up beside the little girl, watching everyone in the room with his judgemental eyes.

"Mummy and I wanted to talk to you about something," Draco said, tucking a wild curl behind her ear, smiling as she giggled so sweet and innocently. "Do you know how Uncle Blaise and Auntie Pansy moved into their own place?"

"Yes daddy," Lyra pouted. "It made me really sad."

"I know love," Draco nodded. "But you love having sleepovers with them now don't you? Just like love having sleepovers with Nana and Papa at their house?"

"Uh huh," Lyra nodded, a wide smile crossing her face once again.

"Well my love," Hermione spoke, smiling softly as she stroked Lyra's curls. "Daddy and I found something today. We found a home for us to move to."

"A new home?" Lyra asked, cocking her head to the side. "This isn't home anymore?"

"This is Uncle Theo and Uncle Charlie's home," Hermione continued, looking at Draco for a moment before looking back at Lyra. "We found a house for you and me and daddy."

"But Uncle Theo will come with us?"

"No little dragon," Draco shook his head. "He's going to stay here in his home. But I promise you, we can come to visit him anytime. Just like he can come and visit us too at the new house."

"But… but…"

"I know," Hermione, smiling softly at her. "It's ok to be a little sad."

"NO!" Lyra shook her head, her little face scrunched up as she tried to fight back the tears that were pooling in her eyes. "No Uncle Theo comes with us."

"No little love," Theo shook his head. "But I promise I will still see you all the time."

"I stay here," Lyra huffed and Draco tried very hard not to laugh at how much she looked just like her mother when she made that face.

"You can't stay here Lyra," Hermione tried to reason with her.

"No mummy!" Lyra cried, her tears falling from her eyes as her body shook. "NO!"

All at once, many things began to happen. As Lyra shouted, the lights in the room flickered and books began to fly from the shelves. Lyra screamed and climbed into Draco's lap, her sobs growing louder. The adults in the room looked around at each other, realizing exactly what was happening. Lyra was experiencing her first bout of accidental magic.

"You brilliant, brilliant girl," Theo smiled, dropping down to the ground and crawling over to her. "You are the most brilliant, beautiful witch there ever was."

"Daddy, what happened?" Lyra hiccuped, clutching onto him.

"Magic…" Draco looked at Hermione wide-eyed before slowly smiling. "Magic little dragon."

August 2008

"Hermione you look absolutely exquisite," Fleur praised as she hugged the witch tightly.

"Thank you, Fleur," Hermione smiled softly chatting idly with her and Bill as she looked around the room. True to her word, Narcissa had opted to throw an engagement dinner instead of a party like she and Draco had requested. Smoothing the periwinkle dress she wore, Hermione couldn't help but look around the room at the people who were there to celebrate with her. Lucius held a giggling Lyra in his arms as he and Narcissa chatted idly with Andromeda and Molly. A pregnant Ginny, Charlie, Theo, and George were having a spirited conversation it would seem as Harry, holding a sleeping James, and Neville were having a conversation with Arthur while Teddy ran around the room, his hair changing colors at rapid speed. Pansy had somehow found herself in a conversation with Hannah Longbottom and Luna while Blaise and Rolf Scamander were refilling their drinks. A decade ago… her life had looked entirely different and now here they were, in a room all together once again.

A wide smile grew on her face as a light kiss was pressed to her cheek. A familiar hand rested on her low back and all was right in the world again. As she looked up into the silver eyes of her fiance, Hermione knew she was right where she was supposed to be.

"It's about time someone made an honest woman out of our Hermione," Bill smirked, causing Draco to laugh.

"I did tell her many times that living in sin was not the way to go about this but you know how stubborn she can be," Draco smirked and Hermione scoffed.

"I do believe you are the one who took his time proposing." Rolling her eyes, Hermione blushed as his hand dropped lower, giving her backside a gentle squeeze. He was already playing dirty and she was losing.

"While I will admit that I did take my time," Draco started, looking down at her with a smile that took her breath away. It was a smile that was hers and hers alone. "It had to be perfect. She deserved perfect."

"It was everything," Hermione smiled softly, resting her hand on her cheek and humming in content as he leaned into her cheek.

"So," Blaise smirked as he, Pansy, and Theo converged into a corner, looking around the room at everyone. "What's the pool up to now?"

"100 galleons he has her knocked up before she even makes it down the aisle," Theo smirked, watching his two best friends as they conversed.

"150 galleons that Draco will be a proper gentleman and will not impregnate our virginal bride," Pansy chuckled.

"Virginal bride," Theo laughed. "You do realize I caught them in the library going at it as guests were beginning to arrive."

"Your bets are child's play," Blaise rolled his eyes. "250 galleons says that Lucius begins pushing for grandkids as soon as the wedding day arrives. Draco will knock up our little Gryffindor lioness quickly. I predict twins."

"That's oddly… specific," Theo looked at him incredulously.

"I happened to excel in divination," Blaise smirked, watching them.

"They truly are happy," Pansy sighed in content. "Finally…"

"They are," Blaise agreed, leaning down and kissing her sweetly. "We all are."

"I for one am very grateful for my dragon tamer," Theo smirked, winking at Charlie as he looked over at them. "I mean just fucking look at him. He's gorgeous."

"Yes Theo," Pansy smirked, snickering as she leaned into Blaise. "We are all highly aware that you have finally conquered and ridden a dragon."

"Many, many times in many, many places," Theo smiled.

As the party began to move to their seats around the table, Hermione couldn't help but relish in the conversation and laughter of all of her friends and family. So many times in her life she had pushed them away, tried to handle things on her own, yet here they all were, celebrating at her side. As the first course was served, Hermione stood up, causing everyone at the table's attention to turn to her.

"Shhh, mummy wants to talk!" Lyra spoke, her finger at her lips, a look in her eyes daring anyone to speak, causing the room to erupt in quiet chuckles.

"Thank you, little love," Hermione chuckled, smiling at her daughter and then at Draco. "I just… I wanted to say a few things. First… thank you Narcissa. This dinner, celebrating with our closest friends and family… it's everything to me. You and Lucius… you accepted me as part of your family and I truly am grateful. Your son… he is truly the best man I have ever met. He's gentle and kind… Loving and supportive. He's protective and has a capacity to love that… is truly breathtaking to witness." Smiling softly at Draco, he winked mouthing 'I love you' to her as she continued. "I will forever be grateful to every single person at this table. I entered this beautiful, magical world at the age of eleven, unprepared and overwhelmed…"

"Not for long," Theo chuckled. "Swot."

"Yes, yes," Hermione waved off. "I was insufferable. That's beside the point. Magic… I have learned so much over the years… things that you can't learn in books. You have to live it. And what I have learned… is that real, pure magic… it's moments like this. It's unwavering loyalty, irrevocable love, it's family… and you are all my family. I wouldn't want to spend this night with anyone else."

"To Hermione and Draco," Harry smiled at her, causing Hermione to scrunch up her nose at him. The room chorused around them, taking a sip. Sitting in her chair, Hermione watched Pansy curiously.

"Pansy," Hermione asked quietly, causing the girl across from her to look up. "Are you alright?"

"What?" Pansy sniffled wiping her eyes. "Oh, I'm excellent."

"You're crying and haven't touched your drink," she pointed out. "Are you sure?"

"Well your speech was quite emotional," Pansy waved off. "I'm fine Granger."

"You didn't take a drink…" Hermione repeated, looking Pansy in the eyes. She contemplated for a moment, the wheels turning in her head and as her eyes widened in recognition, Pansy slowly smiled.

"It turns out… muggle tequila is quite an effective method," Pansy spoke softly, winking at her."

"Potter and Zabini," Hermione announced as the three girls stumbled into the room, giggling and holding onto each other. "I have returned your loves in one piece."

Draco, Blaise, and Harry looked up and chuckled as they watched the three very intoxicated women in front of them.

"One piece huh Granger?" Blaise laughed standing up and walking towards Pansy. "Exactly how did this happen hmmm?"

"Tequila," Pansy slurred, wrapping her arms around him. "Did you know that they actually sometimes eat a worm?"

"I'm sorry what was that?" Blaise asked.

"Can we go home now?" Pansy sighed, holding onto him. "I want you to tear this dress off with your teeth."

"Mione," Harry laughed shaking his head. "Tequila really?"

"What?" Hermione asked, dropping herself into Draco's lap. "Take me to bed please. I want to have sex with my fiance."

"You heard her Malfoy!" Ginny exclaimed. "Go fuck your fiance!"

That had been almost two months ago. "Pansy!" Hemione exclaimed, unable to keep her excitement in, and squealed, reaching across the table squeezing her hand.

"What is it? What happened?" Theo asked looking between the two girls. "What did I miss?"

"I have no idea," Draco chuckled.

"I"m pregnant," Pansy announced and the entire table erupted in congratulations. Blaise smiled and kissed her sweetly.

"This is the best dinner of my life," Theo exclaimed standing up as Hermione and Draco made their way around the table, the five adults hugging each other tightly, taking in the moment together. Magic.

This was not the plan…

From the moment she found out about magic. Hermione Granger had a plan. This was not the plan… it was so much better.

6 months later…

"This is nice," Theo sighed in contentment as he looked around the table at his friends. A very pregnant Pansy was sitting to the left of Hermione who was smiling in adoration at her fiance. Draco was still just as entranced with her as he had ever been. Blaise sat on the other side of Pansy, a hand rubbing her stomach lovingly and smiling every time he felt a kick.

"Kid is going to be a beater," Blaise smirked, causing Draco to laugh out loud.

"You say that now," Charlie chucked but just wait until a girl comes out.

"She can still be a beater," Blaise shrugged.

"She can be whatever she wants," Pansy smirked and Hermione nodded her head in agreement.

"I want to say something," Hermione started and the table laughed, causing her to roll her eyes.

"Always so sentimental Granger," Blaise chuckled.

"Remember the days she didn't tell us anything?" Theo sighed.

"Those were the days weren't they?" Blaise smiled, looking right at Hermione. "Now you just spill everything to us."

"Not everything," Hermione scoffed. "I just… I want to say this before all of this wedding stuff really gets crazy."

"Hermione," Pansy stated, looking at her like she had grown two heads. "You getting married in thirty days. The crazy part has already begun."

"I know, I know," Hermione laughed, running her fingers through her hair. "Trust me. Narcissa is visiting us almost every day now to finalize certain details. But…"

"You're pregnant!" Theo shouted. "I knew it!"

"What?" Hermione shrieked. "No!"

"Oh."

"Way to go, Nott," Blaise chuckled. "Always ruining the mood."

"I just… I wanted to say something before we were surrounded by lists of people that I don't even know," Hermione sighed and took Draco's hand. "A little over four years ago… my life changed forever. I was drowning… and that little bundle of hope saved me. Then you Theo… you saved me…. You all did." Hermione paused, looking around the table at the faces of the closest people in her world. This was her family. These people were her home. "I don't know what I would have done without you three wizards and my baby…"

"And your favorite witch, thank you very much," Pansy scoffed.

"And yes," Hermione smiled softly at her. "My very favorite witch."
