Hello! If you are reading this, then Protocol Omega 67 has been enacted. This indicates that the United Republic of Planets, in any form is not likely to return, perhaps due to technological collapse, or some other catastrophe. At any rate, this station, Memory Theta, is designed to be a mirror of the Republic Central Database (RCD) on Mars, in the Republic Military and Science Core (RMSC). In the event that the Republic is in extraordinary danger, this space station is to be jettisoned into deep space. So that one day, the collective knowledge gained by the Republic could be used to rebuild the Republic in some fashion. After 1000 years, Protocol 67 is enacted, in which the Station's AI compiles and processes all stored reports, logs, and other material into novel(s) format. When a compatible Data-Net is detected, the system will download the novels into said Data-Net, which is what you are most likely using right now. One other thing, the Station's connection to said Data-Net is most likely very weak, and the stories may download quite slowly… by Republic standards. Anyway, one last thing before I go, the system is an AI, meaning that it learns as it goes and it requires feedback on its writing performance, constructive feedback. If you find an error in his writing, please let him know. The system is adaptive and can make changes to the stories.
