POV Tionishia (Tio)*
God, I can't sleep I'm worried about the kid. I turned to look at my alarm clock it's 4:00 a.m... Someone's in my closet? Ogres aren't known for superior hearing more is known about their superior strength and size. But to join M.O.N I had to fine-tune all my senses. It's a lot easier when I have nothing to concentrate on.
Soon enough I heard footsteps of someone walking across my room before stopping around my desk. I tried to take a look to see who it was but it's too dark to tell I can only see a faint outline, I think it might be Smith but she should still be looking into the kid's past or she's asleep. As more time passed I heard more footsteps heading towards the door whoever it is they don't seem like they want to disturb my sleep. If it was Doppler or Zombina they wouldn't hesitate to wake me up by pranking me or dumping water on me. The last time they tried to wake me up by touch I accidentally pulled them into the bed and 'glomp' them. Manako hasn't set foot in my room since then.
Someone opened the door to leave as they silently close the door. I don't think it's a robber the security here is better than any bank. How did he get into my closet? I better check the cameras...?! No way there's no one there?! How?! Better check on the others! Everyone's asleep... Where's the kid?! I rounded the video and saw that he stepped into his closet about the same time someone got into my closet. 'Oh no'. I quickly grab gear from under my bed and put on some night vision goggles.
I sneaked to my door and peeked my head out. I saw the kid come out of the bathroom then headed to Manakos room he checked to see if it was locked which she always does at night. Only for him to give up quickly and made his way to the living room. He glanced around the room, he had a frustrated face when he saw the front door? Do I need to jump out? Is he trying to leave? He'll catch a cold if he leaves HQ like that! As I was talking to myself he made his way to the mirror. After examining it for a few minutes he pulled a coin out of nowhere. And put it into a hole... 'Oh no' it was too late he had pulled down the knob which reveals the hidden vault door within the mirror. That's why he went to my desk! How could you have known?!
I quickly approached behind him before I spoke "What'ch doing Doll?" He gasped as he turned around with a frightened expression. before he could react I pulled him into my bosom trying to knock him out. When he figured out what I was doing he quickly tries to squirm away but I'm stronger. After he figured out it wasn't going to work he started to claw my back. But with my strong skin, it feels like light scratching feels good honestly. But my nightshirts ruined I heard a few rips. When he was good and knocked out I threw him over my shoulder then patted him on his butt while saying.
"Time to go see Smith."
Her door was at the end of the hallway. After we arrived I entered her bedroom she doesn't lock her door. I immediately walk to her and try to shake her awake with my unoccupied shoulder as I called her name.
"Kuroko, Kuroko wake up."
"Noo~ Darling-Kun don't put too much cream in the coffee." she mumbled.
All right backup plan. I put the kid down on the floor and got into bed with her I then started to apply all my weight on her slowly until she woke up.
"Ahhh!! Get off your too big!!" (Smith)
I then whispered in her ear "That's what she said."
"Get! Off!" (Smith)
I usually do this to all the members that can't wake up. It doesn't work on Zombina as she doesn't feel it. I got off of her and her bed then I threw the kid over my shoulder again. She then looked at her alarm clock it showing 4:10 a.m.
"At least I got an hour." She mumbles as she turned on the lamp that was on her nightstand then she turned to me as she said. "What do you-?" Finally noticing the kid and me wearing my nightshade goggles. I had turned them off before the light hit them. She then asked, "What happened?"
"Well after he escaped from his room he-?" (Tio)
"Wait escaped?" (Smith)
"Oh Mana locked his room from the outside because she didn't feel comfortable sleeping in the same area as a criminal." (Tio)
"She should have asked me if it was all right to do that." (Smith)
"You were busy and didn't eat supper. Secondly she thought he wouldn't wake up until tomorrow morning." (Tio)
"Alright fine continue." (Smith)
"After he escaped he ended up in my room." (Tio)
"Did he attack you?" (Smith)
"What? No! All he did was take the Mirror Coin." (Tio)
"What?! You just can't drop a bombshell like that how?!" (Smith)
"I don't know he just walked in and took it! Can I finish my report?" (Tio)
"Y-Yeah." (Smith)
"After he took the coin he somehow avoided all the cameras in the hallway and open the mirror." (Tio)
"Was he able to get the safe open?" (Smith)
"Nah I wasn't gonna see if he could." (Tio)
"Good job. I wouldn't want to take the chance either." Smith mumbled as she pulled out her phone. "Do you know how he escaped?"
"I don't, all I know is that he walked to the closet in his room before he got into mine." (Tio)
"I hope it's not magic." She mumbled as she looked up the video feed of his room and started to rewind it.
"Oh..Right speaking of magic." (Tio)
"Oh god, what?" She asked as she put her phone down.
"He made the coin disappear and reappear out of thin air." (Tio)
"..." She even looked at me with dead eyes then continue looking at her phone. I sat next to her and watch her rewind the video feed.
The last thing the kid did before he walked to the closet was try opening the locked door. Before that he checked the entire room, I'm guessing he inferred that the door would be locked and tried to find a different exit he even checked under the bed. Smith rewinds the feed further.
"What are you doing?" (Tio)
"I want to see the moment he opens his eyes." (Smith)
She did exactly that as she was about to stop rewinding but there was mouth movement and an expression shown as if he was in pain. When Smith saw that she waited a few more minutes and it turns out he awoke again but didn't get out of bed as he just shut his eyes again. Smith rewinded the feed another ten minutes to see if he did anything else but didn't. She then fast forward it to the part before he said something.
'Shut up!' His voice was as clear as day.
"You think he was having a nightmare?" (Tio)
"...I don't know. Probably." (Smith) She got all quiet she's thinking trying to figure out what's happening.
'If he does have Spatial Magic he wouldn't have to look around the entire room to escape. Was it a force of habit? I can't compare him to other species that have magic as I don't know what his body does if he out of magic. Most of the time when a liminal uses all the magic up in their body they just feel groggy but no change whatsoever it could be different for him as he was passed out for too long. But now I can't even tell if him sleeping very long was the result of him using all of his magic. If he was out because of magic depletion how much magic does he have in his body?! Is there a condition of some sort? I need to check his closet to see if anything else is there.'-(Smith)
Smith then got up from the bed and made her way out of the bedroom. I followed her back to the kid's room. I put the kid back on the bed after as I engaged in chit-chat with Smith and she was looking inside the closet.
"Well, this is poorly designed." She mumbled.
"What?" (Tio)
"There's a vent here that leads directly to your room... I can't fit." (Smith)
"So he didn't use magic?" (Tio)
"I don't think he could." (Smith)
"But I saw him-" (Tio)
"I'm not doubting you saw him using magic with the coin but I think that's all he can do.." (Smith)
"What about the forest?" (Tio)
"It wasn't him. If we treat him like a regular liminal he would have rested enough to use magic to easily escape but he didn't. Nor did he try to use magic to escape your death grip." (Smith)
"I do not appreciate them being called a death grip." I muttered.."How did he escape the view of the cameras and know to take the coin?" (Tio)
"That requires more speculation. He either A) Has future dreams or B) Has an Evil Gaze. I think it's an Evil Gaze, if he has future dreams he shouldn't be able to tell which hole to put the coin in or knob to pull down to activate the mirror unless he has a really good memory which I doubt he does. There's just too many holes and knobs." (Smith)
"...Isn't that too far-fetched?" An Evil Gaze or Cursed Eye is a power of the eye. There are legends of multiple liminal or gods having them having all sorts of powers such as Charm, Petrification, Paralyzation etc. But it's just that 'Legends' no documented liminal has one. It's unknown whether Gods or Old Liminals had them. Many believe that demon liminals such as lesser devil and succubus have one but that's their mind magic taking effect.
In my opinion magic is useless if you don't have eyes how will you know if you hit something or your magic is in effect? Although if you have Magic Sense you won't need to worry but you would have to activate it constantly it would drain your reserves fast.
"Again this is just a theory we can't confirm anything until he wakes up." (Smith)
"That's if he decides to share with us." (Tio)
"*Exhausted sigh* Yeah that's more likely to happen. But until then lock him in his room again, lock his closet so he can't use it to escape and throw on some magic cancellation cuffs on him." (Smith)
"Those things are too bulky he won't be able to move.' (Tio)
"That's the point. As you do that I got more reading to do." (Smith) "I was hoping I wouldn't need to open his journal again. Better put some coffee on" She muttered and she left.
"This isn't what I was expecting." I muttered as I saw Bina poking her head in the entrance of the door.
"Why the hell are you guys screaming?" (Bina)
"The kid woke up and displayed magic abilities. Scared me half to death." (Tio)
"Did he attack you?" She asked as she looked at the kid as if she wanted to kill him.
"No?! Why do you all keep asking that?! I'm a big girl I can take care of myself!" (Tio)
"I need to know if I need to teach him a lesson." (Bina)
"...Trust me lesson learned. Can you get the magic cancellation cuffs I think they're in the basement." (Tio)
"Gotcha." She yelled as she made her way to the basement. I'm surprised no one else woke up from all that noise you're making. At that moment something wrapped around my mouth silencing me.
"Shut up!" Doppel yelled as she unwrapped my mouth and went back to her room. Huh, deja vu.
A/N- I don't know if I should really start this or not. I have almost everything planned out already. Main issue is if you guys want to see more of his journal and add the side storys of the 'Phantom Thieves Journey Across The Multiverse' Haha I make it sound like it's another fanfiction even though it's not so I guess I'm starting two polls?

Because of Nocturne Remastered is out I won't be writing as much I thought about extending it even further thanks to Resident Evil Village but Naah I have no desire to play that right now that's why there's a delay I'm also expecting a very important package that's being delivered in the next 2-3 weeks so it's going to be fun stay up for that I have a night job TT so I guess that's it Author Out!
