Let's go to one more chapter of this awesome beauty.

This will likely be the last chapter of this year's history. So I hope you enjoy it. Remembering that my original language is Portuguese, so I apologize in case there is any error or change of words.

Before starting the chapter, I wanted to make something clear. Don't expect things to follow the original danmachi schedule. From the moment Bell became the shadow, many things changed. So if you see something different, higher or lower level people, know why. The explanation of these things will eventually go down in history at a later date.

Chapter 2 - Hunting Night - The Elf Rescue

Currently, Bell was walking towards the Guild. He studied the entire map of Orario before coming here. He had to know every point where he could make some epic entry when he needed to, like points where he could quickly disappear. He has spared no time in studying this city of adventurers. After all, the more he knows, the better he can improvise at the right times.

He looked at various spots where people were selling food on the street, or spots where people stopped to chat. The city was certainly a lot happier than before. He really wondered if it was possible to change that much in just five years. After all, five years ago he tested himself against the so-called Evilus . Most of them were pretty weak, but there were those who were really worth something.

One of them for example was a man with dark brown hair with gray eyes. He was struggling with someone else. Another was a white-haired woman with different colored eyes. His left eye was gray, while his right was green. She was a very beautiful woman. However, he found her familiar for some reason.

She briefly saw Shadow's strength and was impressed. The person behind the black clothes didn't look more than 10 years old if you considered the size. She then asked if he was a new hero. To which he happily spoke those sentences.

" Hero? No, this job is not for me. I'm just a person who lurks in the shadows and deals with the mess these people called 'heroes' can't handle. I'm Shadow!"

He smiled as he remembered that epic phrase of his. He even saw a surprised look from the woman. She appeared to be with the Evilus , but he didn't care. He had then prepared to leave. However, when he was about to start walking, the woman called him. She asked if he was going to run away because he was afraid of her. He just replied.

"Run away from you? Don't make me laugh. I only deal with real enemies. Not a lady who thinks she's smart at being deceitful."

After saying those sentences he saw how the woman widened her eyes completely. He gave a shout of victory thinking that she had been impressed by his speech. But he had another reason why he hadn't decided to fight her. His time was up and he had to be back soon, so he just made up those phrases at the last minute. It seemed to work since the woman didn't even try to go after him.

The letter he had left for his grandfather that he was going to visit Alpha with Beta. In the letter he said he would be back before six o'clock in the morning. His time was running out at the time, so he had to take care of things quickly and leave.

However, he didn't know that when he said those phrases to the woman, she was totally fascinated by him. Who was that boy? Had he found out she was with the Evilus to test Orario? She had no doubts, after all, he called her a deceiver . If she knew the real reason he did it...

Going back to the present time, Bell had just arrived at the Guild. He then took a breath and put on as innocent a face as he could, and then he opened the Guild doors.

...

It was late afternoon, after lunchtime, when daily business in the Clan dwindled and officials had little to do. But they were never idle. This would be the time the documents would be detailed, the paperwork would be sorted, and preparations for the night's hustle and bustle would begin. Adventurers invaded this building as soon as the sun began to set, ready to record their discoveries and exchange their magic stones for val.

Eina Tulle was always ahead of the game and had finished her day's work. But as Clan accountant and adventurer's advisor, she would stay and conduct business until the doors closed for the night.

The Clan doors are opened. Eina and a few others who heard rolled their eyes to look at the new person who had just entered. It was a boy with white hair and red eyes. He wore an outfit similar to the clothes they wear in rural areas outside Orário. People quickly looked away from the boy after they got a better look at him. The reason? Yes, the boy emanated an aura of 'innocent' and 'weak' with every step he took. And the innocent smile did nothing to change people's minds. Eina really hoped this young man hadn't come to become an adventurer. He doesn't seem like the kind of person who would survive long as an adventurer. She could hear some people mocking him for his appearance, calling him weak. She narrowed her eyes at these shitty adventurers. Don't they have an education? She then saw him coming towards her with an innocent smile, so she put on her own smile, begging him to come and become an adventurer. He looked really cute.

This is also the first time she has seen him. ' Probably new in town, ' she thought with a sigh. If he's new, the chance he's come to become an adventurer is much higher. Then the boy's steps stopped in the middle of the room when he was near her. She got curious and looked at the direction he was looking. She then saw what it was. A missing person poster. An elf. But there was a bigger problem...

Lefiya Viridis.

She was a level four adventurer in the Loki family.

She had mysteriously disappeared for about two days. The members were sure she hadn't gone to the Dungeon alone. And no one saw her leaving town either, so it was a very mysterious disappearance. The boy averted his eyes and walked back to Eina with his innocent smile. Although...

Why does he look so much happier than before?

She somehow felt that he was much happier than before. Right after looking at the poster...no, she's thinking too much. With a smile, she answered the boy who had now come close to her.

"Hi how can I help you?" She asked with a smile. The boy returned the smile and said.

"Good morning. I would like to register as an adventurer!" He said excitedly.

Eina sighed at that. She saw some people mocking him after he said that, after all, he spoke a little loudly. However, it seems that the boy didn't care or just ignored it. He still looked happier than before...

"Alright, fill out these documents and give it to me." She said as she took a sheet and passed it to him.

The boy just obeyed and started filling out the forms. After a few minutes the boy returned and handed the sheet back to her. She picked it up straightening her glasses and began to read.

Name: Bell Cranel.

Race: Human.

Age: 14 years old.

Gender: Male.

Family: _

' He is very young. ' Eina sighed. Why do new people want to become adventurers? It was something very dangerous. But she couldn't say anything. She has no right to meddle in his life. However, she realized that the family was missing. She then deduced that he didn't have any, after all, he seemed to be new in town.

"You do not have family?" She asked to confirm.

"Unfortunately no. I'm new in town, hehe," he commented as he scratched the back of his neck as if he was embarrassed.

"I cannot allow you to enter the dungeon without a family," she said.

"Don't worry about it. I don't plan on getting into it yet. I'll look for a family first."

"I see. That's good," she said with a hint of relief. "When you become an adventurer, you are entitled to an advisor."

"I see...in that case, can I choose you?" He asked with a beautiful smile that made her blush for a small fraction of a second.

"S-sure. My name is Eina Tulle." She introduced herself.

"Bell Cranel. Although you already know from the documents I filled out." He commented with a small laugh.

"Yes," she agreed.

"I'll come here when I find a family, bye Eina-san." He said.

She just nodded at him. He then started to walk away. Quickly, a girl with pink hair and eyes appeared. "He won't survive a day in the Dungeon," she asserted more than anything else. She then turned her eyes to her friend who was looking at her.

"Don't say such a thing, Misha." She scolded her friend.

Misha Flott. Another Clan employee and her friend. "You can't disagree with me too much. Look at him, does he seem like someone who gets along well as an adventurer?"

"Does not matter."

While they were arguing with each other, one hand reached for a paper that was taped to the bulletin board. It was so fast and smooth that no one, not even the adventurers, noticed the hand. Bell walked calmly to the Orario doors and opened the Guild doors to come out with the paper in his pocket.

...

Outside the Clan, Bell began to walk calmly towards his destination. He wouldn't be looking for a family today. He would first find a place to settle down. And he knew the perfect place for it. After all, as I said before, he studied the entire map of Orario. So he already had a place planned to stay.

It's a cafe and bar on Western Main Street. The name is Fertility Hostess if he hasn't forgotten. So, with his destiny fixed, he was prepared to go there. Although...

He quickly felt a look on him. A look full of lust, which was soon replaced by curiosity and surprise. Bell knew where that look was coming from. Northwest. Turning his head to the direction, he came across the Tower of Babel, right on the top floor. He intensified his gaze.

...

...

...

At the very top of the Tower of Babel, on the top floor, is the resting place of a certain Goddess. Wrapped in a slim black evening gown, she was a slender, voluptuous figure. She was completely bored of everything. That was the Goddess of beauty, Freya. Her waist-length silver hair glowed brightly, as if there were several chunks of ice crystals floating around. She thought her day would be as boring as any other, but...

She saw a figure leaving the Guild with its mirror. She saw a boy with red eyes and beautiful white hair. Her smile seemed to be all innocent, something that delighted the Goddess. She then used her eyes. Discerning Eyes , an innate ability to see the color and glow of souls. She used to use this ability while in heaven to claim those she cared about before anyone else. She is also able to use this to vaguely estimate the status of adventurers by looking at them. With it, she can also count the emotions that are clouding an individual and their mental states.

Just thinking about looking into this boy's soul filled her with lust. However, when trying to look into the soul of that boy with white hair and red eyes, she was totally surprised.

Nothing...

She couldn't see anything...

And then...

The boy turned his gaze upward, in the exact direction she was looking at him. It was like he was looking right at her inside her soul. She was amazed. Couldn't your eyes see that boy's soul? No, that was impossible. No one can escape the abilities of a God.

She intensified her gaze.

Although...

Shadows...

Suddenly, she saw shadows appearing around the boy completely. Shadows that looked alive, and then those shadows joined the boy. She saw pairs of red eyes looking at her intently. The surprise was such that she ended up slipping and falling. But before...

She saw the shadow's mouth move... it was as if she were saying:

"It's not very nice to spy on people, to be divine."

"Freya-sama!?" Ottar who was close to her was alarmed when she suddenly stumbled backwards.

He ran to her and grabbed her by the arms, calmly lifting her. He saw that she was looking straight ahead. Rolling his eyes forward, he saw that he was looking in her mirror. It was what she used to use to look around the Orário and see if she could find interesting people. Did she see something different?

However, she began to walk calmly towards her mirror. She looked over and saw that the boy was now walking calmly with his innocent smile. She tried one last time... as ridiculous and dangerous as it might be, she tried to look into that boy's soul again.

This time she managed.

Transparent.

The boy's soul was a transparent white completely beautiful without any impurities. He was a totally 'pure' being without any 'evil'. She smiled incredibly at that. But what was that before? Why couldn't she see his soul initially? She had no idea. However, an interesting person appeared. Someone totally like she had never seen before.

That pure soul...

She wants him.

And she will have it.

' Just wait a minute... you'll be mine eventually.'

"Ottar," she spoke for the first time.

"Yes, Freya-sama?" She was still a little wary looking in the same direction as her.

"I want you to keep an eye on someone."

' Fufufu, you will not escape me, human without impurity.'

It was the first time she was enchanted in such a way. And it was not for nothing, after all, it was the first time she had seen a person with such a transparent soul without any impurity. She will do anything to stay with him. She won't let anyone corrupt that soul.

If she knew the truth...

...

...

...

...

That was close!

Bell was walking towards the place he was going to be staying for today. He quickly felt a person looking at him, and when he turned he saw that it was from the Tower of Babel. He was initially curious and looked back. But for someone to watch him from there... only a God would be capable of such a thing.

Well, a God other than himself, of course.

What he didn't know was that his ability One who defies the reality of the Gods altered the way Freya saw her soul. He unconsciously wished for this by wanting to pass himself off as an 'innocent and weak' boy. Unaware of this, he hurried his step towards the Hostess of Fertility. In the end...

Tonight would be fun.

Currently, Bell had just entered a Fertility Hostess room. Although the place is a bar, it does have a few rooms for rent. He was glad that there were still rooms. However, the owner of the place, Mama Mia, was clear in her request to allow him to stay there. She just said.

" Try doing something funny with one of my girls and I'll make sure you can't have kids, am I clear?"

At that time, he acted like a pro running for an Oscar. He shivered completely without stopping just screaming. " Yyy-yes! "

She appeared to have fallen as she nodded her head in agreement.

After he had completely tidied the place up, he just said.

"You can leave, Beta."

As spoken, a person appeared between the curtains of a window.

Beta is a beautiful, voluptuous young elf with blue eyes and shoulder-length silver hair with a left braid behind her ear, as well as a wart under the corner of her eye on the same side. Her Shadow Garden outfit consists of a low-cut dark slime suit that exposes her cleavage with gold decorations around her chest, shoulder, arms and waist.

Unlike Alpha, who is always traveling to get information about the Cult of the Dungeon, and always returned between months for Bell to update his status, Beta always followed her master wherever he went. Beta is a dedicated and loyal subordinate to Shadow Garden .

In addition to his loyalty to Shadow Garden his loyalty is also to his master, Bell Cranel. Beta is in love with him. She dreams of one day embracing herself in his arms with the most extreme of passions. Because of this, she becomes extremely jealous of any girl who isn't from Shadow Garden and tries to get close to him. However, he doesn't know that yet.

During her childhood, the girl, later known as Beta of the Shadow Garden, was living with her family in the country of the elves, where she would also meet another future member, Alpha. However, after contracting Demonic Possession caused by the Dungeon Curse, she would be persecuted by her family and society before being exiled from her home.

Fortunately, Beta was finally rescued by Alpha and her friend's master, Bell Cranel, the leader of the Garden of Shadows , where she would also be cleansed of her possession caused by the Dungeon Curse . Although the young elf was initially frightened of Shadow, she would slowly come to accept and care for him while training under his tutelage. Additionally, along with Alpha and Gamma, Beta would participate in the organization's expansion planning to further its resistance against the Cult of the Dungeon that sought to revive Diabolos .

She is also a member of the ' Seven Original Shadows '.

However, unbeknownst to Bell, Shadow Garden already had around 700 members in addition to the original seven shadows.

"Bell-sama," she started ducking her head towards him. He noticed that she had some papers in her hands.

"Looks from above," he said mysteriously.

"Huh?"

"When I left the Guild...I felt your gaze from above." He repeated.

Beta began to analyze what he had said. Your master never spoke anything to anything, so his words must have some ulterior motive. He felt the eyes from above after he left the Clan...up...

Babel tower?

At that moment, the pieces began to fall into place in Beta's head. At the top of the Tower of Babel dwelt the Goddess Freya. She possessed an ability to observe people together with her eyes able to see into someone's soul. Her master must be talking about her. So she started keeping an eye on him...?

She quickly scowled at that. What was that fucking goddess thinking so she could look at her magnificent master? Only she and the others in Shadow Garden can look at him.

She must have used her eyes to look into Shadow's soul. However, she didn't care. It was certain that her master had the information about her and had made some move with it beforehand so that she would not be suspicious of him and his 'weak persona' that he decided to follow in this town. For that reason, she wasted no time saying things her master clearly knew.

Bell however, had no idea of Freya's ability to observe people's souls. He just spoke those cool phrases to sound mysterious and cool.

"What do we have today?" He asked as he sat up in bed.

She then saw a small table in the middle of the room. She picked up the table and dragged it over to him. She then started to put the papers in while Bell just stared at them. Beta noticed her master's analytical looks and saw that he must already know what she wants to talk about.

Nonetheless...

' What the fuck is this? ' He had no idea what these roles were supposed to be.

"We managed to locate a Dark Guild base in the south," she began as she pointed to a map that showed things outside of Orario.

Yes, the Dark Guild.

Another organization Bell had invented. Basically, the Dark Guild is an organization that conspires with the Cult of the Dungeon. But she has a different objective than the Cult of the Dungeon that plans to release Diabolos. The Dark Guild only works together with them for the fact that the resurrection of Diabolos will bring that goal to them. That goal is...

The total destruction of Orário.

"We believe they're planning something bad at these facilities-" As she was speaking, a thrown knife (randomly) flew by and hit a part of the map.

She startled and looked at her master with her right hand raised. He had his eyes closed.

"Bell-sama?" She was confused.

"I already figured everything out." He said surprising her.

Had your master already found out? Even she and the other girls took a long time to find these bases. Did he look at the documents immediately and assume what they were doing in these facilities?

Bell placed a paper on the table and dragged it toward Beta. He gestured for her to take it. Without doubting him, she took it. She started to read.

Disappeared: Lefiya Viridis. Elf Adventurer of the Loki Family. Level 4. Reward: 30,000,000 valis.

"They've captured her. Their objective must be to use some of her blood that must have some unique properties to aid in the resurrection of Diabolos. The base in the south is fake. The real one is in the north, that's where they're keeping her." He said.

"Huh...? But there's nothing to show...wait, could it be...!?" Beta began scanning the documents quickly as she stared at the knife thrown (randomly) to the north of the map.

She quickly began to review the documents and said. "After looking at all our data, I believe they have an underground hiding place in the north!" She then looked at him in wonder. "You were able to analyze all these documents and discover the secret in an instant...! As expected of you Bell-sama! I'm amazed!"

"You must refer to me as Shadow . Contact Alpha and the others. We will set out to rescue you tonight!"

"Yes, Shadow-sama!"

Underground unit in the north outside Orário:

"Lefiya Viridis, how are you?" asked a man in noble dress. He had long blond hair pulled back in a ponytail.

Lefiya has long golden yellow hair, round dark blue eyes and pointed ears. She wore a pink rosette cape over a white shirt and a pink corset dress. A purple bow hangs from the collar. There were tears falling from her eyes. She was tied to the wall in handcuffs with large long chains in both hands.

"W-what do you want?" She asked crying.

She was suddenly grabbed by these strange people while walking at night in the city. She was a level 4 adventurer, but she was usually the magic support. She wasn't good at physical combat or anything like that. Because of that, these people completely subdued her without her being able to do anything.

' Aiz... save me, please .' She pleaded in her mind with tear-filled eyes.

"I have some questions for you. You better answer if you don't want to make your situation worse, understood?" He said coldly.

Lefiya just nodded with tears falling from her eyes.

"Lefiya Viridis... have you been feeling weird lately? Problems using magic, keeping it under control? Black parts in your body starting to rot... any symptoms like that?"

Lefiya's eyes widened. She really had been having trouble channeling her magic lately. And the black rotted parts... she had some in her belly. She hid it from everyone in her family. the impatient man demanded.

"Answer, yes or no?"

"Yes..." she replied crying.

"I see...so you have the symptoms. Yes, you are a match."

"...Compatible?" She let it out between her cries.

"It's none of your business. Just be quiet and await your fate-" The man was interrupted by a yell from outside.

"Reporting! Invaders in the main hall! I repeat, invaders in the main hall!" One person screamed.

"Seriously..." The man cursed.

He quickly looked at the girl who was confused and crying. He ran to her and untied her. He squeezed her hands tightly. "Try something funny and I'll cut your head off." He threatened. She just shook her head quickly. She still didn't want to die.

The man could not waste this chance. This was the first girl to appear in years. He can't risk anything happening to her. He then began to guide her towards a secret wall that led to a place lower still.

...

...

Meanwhile, in the main hall.

The hall was all destroyed with the walls falling apart. Several bodies of the guards lay on the ground covered in blood. They were dead. That was something, as all guards were at least level two and up. So, for someone to be able to cause this damage, it has to be very strong.

"What the fuck-" One person screamed only to have his body cut in half with an attack he couldn't react.

"Run!" Some screamed.

The leader was irritated. He was a level 4. He had green hair and black eyes. He wore high quality armor. He screamed.

"Whoever dares to flee will regret it! I will cut you all and kill your families!"

"That won't happen after all, you all won't live tonight." A voice stated.

The man looked at the people who caused all this damage. He got even angrier. A group of seven masked women in weird black clothes. A group of women have done this damage! He saw that there were some that were elves and others that had bestial features. He quickly glanced at the elf woman who appeared to be the leader of this group of masked women in black robes.

A young elf with long, platinum-blond hair and blue eyes, as well as a slender figure with full breasts.

"Who the fuck are you!?" He screamed.

Who answered was the elf woman who appeared to be the leader.

"We are the Shadow Garden . We bring doom to the Dark Guild who conspire with the Cult of the Dungeon in order to bring Diabolos back to life. We know it all. The curse of the dungeon. The descendants of heroes... and the truth behind 'possession'. Let's get the girl you kidnapped back."

The leader was amazed...

"H-how did you... How did you find out about the Cult of the Dungeon and the Dark Guild!? " He yelled.

"These are our biggest secrets. Only the high ranking people know this! They can't have been leaked!" He ran at the woman.

"Argh!" He was cut in his belly by a sword. He staggered back as he held the mortally wounded part.

He looked at the women who had a smile on their faces. The leader began to approach him calmly with a smile. She raised her sword... and... the elite level 4 adventurer's head flew like a rag doll. Fast. He didn't even see her move her, in a second she was 20 meters away from him and in less than a second he had his head ripped off. All he saw when he was about to have his head chopped off were her bright blue eyes.

"Alpha-sama!" Beta quickly called her.

Alpha turned and saw that she was at a door that had opened. Soon they all started walking there. When they arrived, they saw that behind the door, there was a room with various objects to hold someone. On the walls were two handcuffs with long chains. They seemed to have been used recently because of the way they were...

"He took her! What are we going to do!?" Beta exclaimed with her hands on her head.

"No need to worry, Beta," said Alpha. " He already expected this."

"Huh... You mean...? It means he predicted this would happen," she concluded with a smile.

...

...

...

The sound of two steps was heard in a dark, narrow hallway. The man cursed the person responsible for the invasion. Could they have found out about the cult and the guild? No, it should be impossible. Only the high ranking people know about it, and they wouldn't spread it.

He quickly stopped his stride, startling Lefiya. She looked at him who reached into his pocket and turned to her. He took out some kind of syringe. He approached her, she tried to escape his hands without success.

"What is that!?" She screamed in fear.

"Only your destiny. Don't worry, although you will die, your blood will be used for the resurrection of Diabolos. And then we can finally reach our true goal," he said, stepping closer.

She gave the hardest kick she could muster in his nether regions, causing him to release her.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAH!" He screamed in pain and the girl started to run. "Get back here you bitch!" He started running after them.

' I can't die here! I still have to get a date with Aiz! There are still a lot of things I want to do in my young life! ' She thought with tears falling from her eyes.

She then ended up stumbling unintentionally. She wasn't paying attention around, she just wanted out. Because of that, the man came close to her.

"You bitch!" She rolled her eyes and saw him running towards her with the syringe.

She closed her eyes in tears with a single thought. ' Please...someone...save me, please... ' She waited for the inevitable.

Although...

The pain did not come.

She felt no sting from the syringe.

Instead...she felt her face get wet. She opened her eyes afraid of what she might see, but then...

She saw why nothing had happened to her. In front of him was a person in black clothes with a hood. He had a strange sword in his hand. Looking closely, her vision was a little blurry, but she soon discovered the reason. Beside him was a left arm... severed, in his hand was a syringe. His face was full of blood. She looked forward and saw the man with his other hand screaming in pain.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!"

He tried his best to stop his blood, but to no avail.

Shadow just looked at him without moving. The truth is, he lost himself from the others. He cursed his luck but ended up finding this freak with a syringe in hand pointing to the woman he had come to rescue. He was quick to finish him off. At the end...

This was the boss fight he wanted!

The man looked at the hooded man with glares filled with anger.

The man tried to attack the mysterious person only to fail miserably with a single step from his opponent. The hooded one then kicked him in the belly making him lose his breath for a few seconds, but he didn't have time to breathe, after all, with the other leg the man kicked him hard making him hit the hallway wall.

"Ugh!" The man spat out a great deal of blood.

Lefiya was just looking in shock at his 'savior'. In the past, she always expected to be saved by a hero in shining armor, she didn't expect that. Being saved by a person all in black with ridiculous strength. That man he easily dominated was at least level 4! She then saw the hooded man make his sword disappear out of nowhere.

' Magic? ' She deduced.

The man started to get up and look at the man. He saw that he had kept his sword.

"Are you making fun of me?" he asked spitting blood.

"Make fun of you? No, I'm just assuming my sword is too much for you to handle right now. Besides, you're also unarmed . "

He spoke for the first time. His voice was a little thick and it gave him a heavy air. Lefiya was fascinated by the mysterious dress in black in front of her. He had saved her.

The man just got mad and went after him.

He ran around trying to land any blow he could, only to fail miserably on every attempt. Then, after a few minutes, he was on the ground. The mystery person didn't finish him, she waited for him to get up. Lefiya was confused by this. The man began to get up with difficulty and then began to speak with great difficulty.

"Kuh...Tell me. Who are you. Where did you guys come from...who are you!?"

He assumed that this mysterious person in front of him was with the people who attacked his base.

"My name is Shadow. We are the Garden of Shadows. We hide in the shadows and hunt in the shadows. This is our only purpose."

"You ... really want to oppose to that ...!?" He started to get up with difficulty.

"No matter how strong it is... Darkness, you don't stand a chance! It's rooted deeper than you idiots can imagine!" He got to his feet with one fist raised.

"Then we just need to dig even deeper ." He always meant it!

"Do you think this is some kind of game, you little shit!?" The man exclaimed, taking his one hand into the left pocket of his pants.

He took what appeared to be a vial of some potion. He broke it and swallowed everything, even the glass that fell with it. He took a potion that the Cult of the Dungeon created. She allows humans to be completely broken through and gathers immense amounts of spells.

What happened next scared Lefiya. The man was suddenly much more muscular making his clothes rip instantly. He ran at Shadow trying a blow which he came close to. The man's fist hit the ground, causing him to break under the force of his fist.

' What the hell is this!? How can a potion do this!? ' Lefiya thought in amazement as she walked away from them. It was like they were monsters!

"Hahahaha! That's strength, you shit!" The man began to exclaim like a madman as he tried to hit Shadow who dodged. However, every corner of the environment he hit cracked with its immense strength.

Shadow then made his sword appear in his hand, while purple shadows circled around him.

"Enough with the jokes. Alpha, get her out of here."

Lefiya was confused, but suddenly a masked woman appeared next to her. She wore clothes that were a little revealing and they were also black. However, she couldn't say anything when she took a blow to the back of her head causing her to pass out. Alpha then quickly disappeared from the place.

The man could only look at it all without doing anything. That purple energy covering Shadow's sword and body. He didn't know what he was going to do, but something told him to stop him quickly. But it was already too late. All he heard was the name of his attack before it all exploded.

" I am atomic! "

Inside the Twilight Mansion, known as the Loki family home, Finn was walking around biting his thumb. It had been three days since a member of her family had been missing. He was very worried. He mentally berated himself for not going with her when she said she was going to buy something tonight.

Several members of her family were looking for her. He wanted to be with them himself, but he had obligations to be the captain of the family. He even placed a reward for anyone who finds her. It was too big for most adventurers, but for him, that amount is insignificant if it brought his family member.

He then sighed and walked to his office. It would increase the reward. If 30,000,000 valis weren't enough to get the adventurers to start helping out in their search, then triple that amount should be. He didn't even care if they went broke for a while. All he wants is for her to appear safely at his home.

And when he finds the people who dared to touch his family member...

He will make them feel a real despair.

However, when he reached the door of his office, he was on his guard. He could feel something inside. Cautiously, he opened the door and was shocked at the sight. His office was on the top floor of the mansion. The window was open, giving a view of the moon, and the night winds fluttered the curtains.

Right next to the sofa in the office, there was a figure dressed entirely in black, and lying on the sofa... was she.

"Who are you?" Finn asked on guard, prepared to attack.

However, when the mysterious one turned his eyes to him, Finn saw a large shadow behind them watching him with red eyes that seemed to look into his soul. In that moment, he was absolutely sure. If this he fought this person, he would be utterly destroyed.

"I just came to bring her back. No need to be careful with me, Braver." Said the man.

He quickly relaxed a little, but he was still on his guard. He walked up to Lefiya, and saw that she appeared to be sleeping. He checked her breathing and saw that she was totally fine. He turned to the person and lowered his head.

"Thank you so much for bringing my family member. I really am grateful to you," he said.

Having the one nicknamed Braver, the captain of the Loki family, with his head bowed and thanking you, is not an everyday sight. The man just stayed silent making Finn uncomfortable, he then lifted his head and asked a question he wanted an answer to.

"If possible... could you tell me who took her?" he asked cautiously.

As this man said that he came to bring her back, it means that he rescued her from somewhere...

If these bastards dared to do anything to her...

The man just was silent for a while. The silence was so much, that you could hear the sound of the wind, along with their black clothes swaying on all sides, giving an implacable appearance to the person in front of them. After what felt like minutes of silence, he spoke.

"The people responsible for kidnapping her were the people of the Dark Guild. ."

Finn was confused. 'Dark Guild?' What was that? From the name it didn't look good.

"What is this Dark Guild?"

"The Dark Guild is an organization I've been facing for years. Its goal is just one. The total destruction of Orario."

Finn froze at those words... destruction... of Orario?

He remembered the time of darkness, the fight against the Evilus. Wait a minute... back then...

If he's not mistaken, when it was all over, Aiz spoke of a person who defeated several Evilus. He wore black clothes with a cape and a hood. That person in front of you matches that description. But, Dark Guild? He had never heard of it. Maybe that's what the Evilus are called now? He really hoped not. He didn't want the city to witness something like this again.

But there is something else. This person... he and the other family members hadn't initially believed Aiz's story. But then the Astrea family showed up saying they were saved from annihilation by the person with the same description Aiz gave them.

He was always at the center of everything. He saved people and still does. But that all leaves a question in your mind.

Why has no one ever heard of him?

He should be recognized as a hero.

"You... were you always in all these confrontations...? Against the Dark Guild... and against Evilus?" Finn asked.

" Yes. "

"Why...why have we never heard of you before? You were supposed to be considered a hero. You saved a lot of people in the dark ages of Orario..." Finn questioned himself by asking that question.

Why? The man was silent until he turned towards the open window. Finn saw him looking up a little, towards the moon that was shining in all its splendour.

"I'm not a hero. I don't care if I'm recognized or not. I only live to hide in the shadows and protect those who can't defend themselves. We're responsible for taking care of the evils that lurk in the shadows.

And it will remain so... after all... it is our duty to take care of them. The evils that lurk in the shadows are something none of you have ever witnessed. And it will stay that way. Why. .. We will be the ones who will take care of them. We are the ones who get their hands dirty in the face of this evil. I am not a hero. "

Finn was speechless for this person's response. He just stood there, eyes wide, staring at the figure who now had her hands in her pockets as she stared up at the moon with her clothes flapping in the wind. For a moment, he imagined the moon was brighter. It was like she just glowed at that person in front of her.

The being then began to move, and placed a foot on the underside of the wooden window. He was getting ready to leave when Finn called him.

"Wait!," the man turned to him. "Who...who are you?"

Finn then saw the moon emit a glow like never before, making the person in front of him look more majestic than he already was. He saw her red eyes flash, and he put on a big smile.

"I am Shadow! The leader of the Shadow Garden. The organization that takes care of the evils that lurk in the dark of night! Remember this, Braver!"

He then jumped out of the window.

Finn quickly ran over there, only to see no one anywhere. He was completely gone.

He put on a serious look. He looked at Lefiya, and then yelled.

"Loki-sama!" He screamed with great force.

She must still be awake, after all, she is one of the most worried about Lefiya.

Suddenly, the sound of running footsteps is heard. It appeared to be footsteps going up a ladder and after a few seconds a person appeared in the doorway opening the door with great force.

A goddess with light red hair and red eyes appeared. The family goddess.

"Finn, what's up!? Any news!?"

Finn just pointed to the person sleeping on the couch. Loki turned to where he was pointing and widened his eyes, tears streaming into them.

"Lefiya-chan!" She ran to the girl.

Lefiya then began to wake up slowly. The first thing she saw was her Goddess hugging her and crying nonstop. She was a little confused. She then looked at Finn.

"Where...where is he?" Lefiya asked.

"...Where's who, Lefiya-chan?" Loki said after recovering a bit.

"The person in black. The one who saved me..." Lefiya had her hands on her chest.

It was Finn who answered.

"He already left."

"Finn, who is this person you are talking about...?" Loki asked still hugging Lefiya.

"I'll explain all of this when everyone is gathered. Loki-sama, rally all the high ranking members of our family, it doesn't matter if they're asleep, wake them up with hot water, a punch, or whatever! This is an emergency meeting! !" Finn stated in a serious voice.

Loki took one last look at Lefiya and she said that everything was fine. Loki wiped his tears and walked quickly down the stairs. There were still some family members out there, still looking for Lefiya. Finn will just tell them later. Now...

Dark Guild.

If what Shadow said is true, then there is an organization that seeks to completely destroy Orario. He wouldn't allow it. He would not allow Orario to pass through another dark age. He wouldn't let innocent people get killed again. And there is another factor. Finn looked at Lefiya who seemed to be thinking about something with both hands on his chest.

' They dared to mess with a member of the Loki family. I will show them the true meaning of the word despair! '

Currently, Bell was at his inn. It was about 10 pm at night. Beside him was Alpha who was sitting discussing some things with him.

"So, have you decided which family you're going to join?" She asked while eating a sandwich.

"Haven't had time for that yet. However, it can't be any known family. I have to keep up appearances. We don't know how many families have infiltrated people from the Dark Guild and the Cult of the Dungeon." He said as he ate another sandwich.

"In that case, I have a perfect suggestion," she said as she placed the plate with the sandwich on the table, and reached for a paper. "There is a goddess who has no family members. She is a poor goddess who works in the city to earn her livelihood. This is the goddess Hestia," she said showing him a picture of the goddess on paper.

Bell studied the portrait.

Hestia is a pretty little Goddess with a youthful appearance. She has blue eyes and black hair tied into twin tails that reach her middle thighs. Her hair is tied back with hair accessories that feature blue and white petals, along with bell-shaped ornaments.

On top of that, she is a poor goddess with no family members.

The perfect goddess for him!

Who will suspect that someone powerful as hell will be in such a family? Also, he can manipulate his Falna to be that of a level 1 fully zeroed. With her as goddess...

Everyone will think he's a MOB!

He had made up his mind.

"Very well. I will take a look at this Goddess tomorrow. Do you know where she resides?"

"Yes, she lives in an abandoned church a little way from the Clan," Alpha pulled out a paper he doesn't know where, and handed it to Bell. "Here is a map."

'Why the hell does she have a map of this?' He thought.

"Very well, Alpha. I knew I could count on you for this. I'll give you a reward later."

She just accepted the gesture and lowered her head. "Just your satisfaction is enough for me, Shadow."

Bell nodded in satisfaction.

Although...

He quickly realized something.

"Some problem?" Alpha asked a little worried as he seemed to have frozen out of nowhere.

She saw him taking a paper from his pocket, which she assumed was the missing elf poster from before. She saw him look intently at the paper as if he'd missed something important.

Bell began to read the poster.

Missing: Lefiya Viridis. Elf Adventurer of the Loki Family. Level 4. Reward: 30,000,000 valis.

Reward: 30,000,000 valis.

He forgot to get the fucking reward!

So, what did you think of this chapter?

Comment on the parts you liked as the parts you thought could be better.

In the next chapter, we will probably have the fight against Minotaur. Bell will finally be able to show off the moves of his deadliest martial art. Yes, I'm talking about the same martial art you're thinking about. THE MOB-FU! Entitled to spectators from the Loki family!

We see in the next chapter!
