She had just been an ordinary person, years ago.
She did not want to become some kind of a secret agent, working for the country.
She did not want the said country to fall down, either.
And most importantly, she did not want to be stuck here right now.
She grunted as another bullet struck her armor. Her armor plates were almost broken, reduced to a useless piece of scrap.
She groaned out in pain, staying down low in her cover as she loaded another magazine into her CMMG Banshee.
Her division techs were jammed, so she couldn't use any turrets or drones.
She was stuck in a rough spot.
It had been an ordinary mission at the first glance..
Few minutes earlier..
"Agent, I need you to secure one of the S.H.D techs in the building." Said Agent Kelso.
The Agent tapped her watch a few times to track the S.H.D tech, and ISAC, the Artificial Inteligence, had replied;
"Now Tracking S.H.D Tech Cache."
As she walked inside the building, the lights had went out. She had felt a slight discomfort by that, but ignored it and marched on nontheless.
But there was one thing that had shocked her.
The Agent passed by corpses of..
Dead Division Agents.
"Agent Vital Signs, Zero." said ISAC, breaking the silence.
She had been braver than most agents, but the sight of her dead comrades scared her.
They were all either hung up on a wall, or laid down on the ground..
And all of their right hands were missing, the evidence that it was The Hunters had been here.
She had killed quite a few hunters by herself, even collecting their masks for the fun of it.
But this sight had scared her.
Her, who had tore down the Hyenas, True Sons, Rogue Agents, Black Tusks, all by herself.
Her, who had hunted down the Hunters as their prey.
Her, who most importantly, killed Aaron Keener, the First Rogue Agent to ever exist.
But this sight? It had scared her.
There were dozens of dead Division Agents, and to call them well-trained would be an understatement.
But that didn't matter for the Hunters, It seemed.
"Warning, a Friendly Agent is requesting for backup."
When she heard that, despite the fear, she walked further inside.
She would finish whatever job that she needed to do.
And that was how she got stuck in this mess.
She was ambushed by FOUR Hunters, FOUR!
The Agent was long dead, and his watch was requesting for backup.
As she saw and tried to pick up the watch, she heard the famaliar sound of a smoke grenade exploding.
And, well.
You know what happened.
"There is no way I'm getting out of this."
She thought as she vaulted over yet another object to take cover behind it.
Her comms were messed up, ISAC was malfunctioning, Her gears were jammed..
The only hope for her was to use ANNA, stored inside Keener's watch. The bastard had kept a whole copy of it inside his watch, so most functions ANNA had were still intact, although severed from the Rogue Network.
She tapped on the watch, letting ANNA find an escape route for her to get out of the situation.
Then she blindly fired her SMG over the cover, keeping the Hunters away as the AI caculated.
Surprisingly, there was an escape route set for her in no time, so she rolled out of cover after she threw a grenade.
Her CMMG Banshee spat out fire and lead as the bullets pelted one of the Hunter's armor, leaving it rendered useless.
As the Hunter was busy swapping the Armor Plate, she ran and dived into a room, and shut the door. She also brought some heavy objects to block off the door.
Finally, with the only entrance and exit sealed, she sighed and flopped down on the floor.
That fight had taken a toll on her, and left her wounded.
She flinched as she touched the wound on her side, left by one of those damn AKs fired by the Hunters.
It was a wound that she and the nanites could deal with, and she sighed out as she felt the medical nanites began to reseal the wound slowly.
Apparently, having nanites in your blood was necessary to become a division agent.
Anyway, she got back up on her wobbly legs, and stumbled over to the "Exit" ANNA had found.
It was.. an enormous hole with some ropes heading down, and she couldn't see what was inside the hole.
Gods, It was all dark!
She wondered how deep the hole went.
But she was taken out of her thoughts as somebody bashed on the door, and the blockade shook.
It was not going to hold long, she realized.
But there were no other alternatives!
Silently grumbling, she considered her options.
One, stay and get killed.
Two, rappel down into the Big Black Hole that might lead to god knows where.
It was an obvious choice.
She attached her rappel device on the rope, and slowly went down. She could hear the makeshift barricade collapsing upstairs, and Hunters' footsteps.
She heard a few distorted grunts, and she silently smiled.
they were struggling look for her, It had seemed.
Until one of them had looked inside the hole, and saw her going down.
"God damn it."
The last thing she saw was the Hunter's empty gaze and his "Collection" of Glowing SHD Watches as she fell down into the void with a sharp noise of rope being cut.
And then there were none.
Hello! This is the prologue to my first ever fanfiction, Stranded in Remnant.
Thank you for reading this Chapter, and dealing with my Shitty Grammar.
This is a crossover fic, featuring The Agent from The Division series, and The world of RWBY.
However, there may be slight changes like Division Agents having Medical Nanites in their body (Hence them healing very fast out of combat.).
However, those nanites have limited functions, so it won't make The Agent straight up into a Super Soldier with insane strength or anything, It just provides basic first aid.
This was done to explain how Division Agents can heal extremely fast from a few gunshot wounds in/out of combat.
Also, our Agent's loadout.
Weapons are consisted of:
The Grudge (Named High-End CMMG Banshee.) with Extended Magazine and a Laser Sight, Osprey 9mm Suppressor, and a Reflex Sight.
The Scorpio (Exotic Shotgun.) ("Hey it was banned!" the world she knew was ending so she didn't care.)
KARD-45 (High-End Pistol.) with a Low Reflex Sight.
M32A1 Rotary GL (Signature Weapon.)
And she has a Hunting M44 in her backpack In case anything goes wrong, and Many more things.
And the Armor:
Hunter's Muzzle (Hunter's Fury set Mask.)
Hunter's Cage (Hunter's Fury set Vest.)
Hunter's Quiver (Hunter's Fury set Holster.)
Memento (Exotic Backpack.)
Hunter's Claws (Hunter's Fury set Gloves.)
Clutch XO-Skin Sport Pads (Version 2/3.) (Alps Summit Armament Kneepads.)
And she wears a Dark Brown Coat, A Gray Shirt, and Dark Blue Slacks.
She really doesn't forget her Dark Green Scarf anywhere too.
Or her Gray beanie.
And of course, Basic Combat Boots.
Annnnd that's it for our fellow Agent's Armor Loadout!
She sure brings a lot of firepower up close.
And finally, her skills would be..
Scanner Pulse (it's on her shoulder at all times, so I decided to make it a basic skill that doesn't take up a slot.)
Chem Launcher (Swappable Canisters, Soon will see the light with the use of Dust.)
Holographic Distraction Decoy (Looted from Theo Parnell.)
Fixer Drone (Unequipped, Inside her backpack.)
Crusader Shield (Also unequipped.)
She will be able to equip up to two other Skills and a Scanner Pulse.
Let's just say with the help of ANNA, ISAC is now able to release the Pulse without taking up any Skill Slots.
That's it for our Agent's entire loadout.
She will be gaining more equipment as the Story progresses, so be aware of future plans.
Now, Let's finish up for today.
Be aware of Slow updates, and Goodbye for now, Fellow readers!
And always remember, Stay safe out there, Agents.
