For a while now, my paperwork has slowly decreased and I've been having a lot more free time on my hands.

'It was self-defense, I tried to be diplomatic with him! But all he said was about his family.'

'*Ahem* let's go back to Rimuru.'

{*tch* The only thing that might give him a chance to at least stand against you is that cheap knockoff of me.}

'But there is still a chance and by the way Rimuru is progressing, I would say he's currently around level 50-60 in Yggdrasil terms.'

Athena materialized out of me seeming angry and slammed her fists on the table messing up the neatly stacked paperwork.

"Your god of this universe and others! You somehow used [Dark God's Wisdom](upgraded dark Wisdom) on Veldanava, gained all of his power and you're all-powerful! It doesn't make sense why you don't leave this up to me! Let your wife help you."

Athena started to relax and walked over to the nearest couch and sat on it.

"If you let me help you, you could get better and smarter. You let me work on managing your servants, allies, and paperwork. I could do all of those at once AND spy on Rimuru for you. That way, you can focus on getting smarter and the banquet that's going to happen soon."

Knowing Athena, she would continue to argue and maybe secretly do the work, and it would just be better to agree with her.

"*Sigh* Fine, I'll head to Ashurbanipal. But I do want to know more about Rimuru."

"Always the paranoid one my love. But I still don't get it, you could just stop the spells allowing out worlders from coming here, so why do you keep them active?"

"Because people may get suspicious and that might cause more problems than it solves. But before I go, do want to know more about the slime."

"Well from what I've heard from using [Mind Read] he's from Earth, but not from the same time as you and maybe not in the same Earth. He relies too much on that cheap knockoff, but his servants are quite strong. They may even match the guardians before you broke their level cap if they continue their growth in a year or so. But even if they were to still get stronger, they wouldn't be a match. The Guardians are now more powerful than gods we've encountered, and you are a literal god now..."

"... You know, when I first met you I was baffled. All it took was one look to drive people insane. They started to doubt if their actions were even theirs or if it was meticulously planned up by you. Even sees you some sort of puppeteer that plans everything to the smallest atom but in reality, you don't even know what you're doing. But I think I'm starting to get you. Athena sat on a large purple couch, in front of her were stacks of paper each with a different purpose.

Athen didn't mind the paperwork. Rather, she embraced it. She loved doing work, it was the reason why her husband created her after Veldanava's death.

But as more time passed, she started to feel guilty that she yelled at her husband. Her speed slowly decreased as she was deep in thought. But she snapped out of it when a silver-haired short girl with a gothic dress walked in.

She stopped when she saw the desk in front of her was empty. She quickly looked around to see if anyone else what there and her red eyes landed on Athena.

"Oh. Athena, have you seen Lord Ainz?"

"No, he's in Ashurbanipal working on a project so I'm taking over."

"Eh? Shouldn't that big mouthed gorilla be doing that?"

"I'm afraid Albedo is unavailable as she's planning the banquet."

"Oh, well I came to tell Lord Ainz that the connection has been set and it's ready for control."

"Did you double-check?"

"Yes! I checked over a hundred times."

"Good, we don't want a repeat of last time you went on a big mission. You're lucky Veldora was close enough that we were able to use [Perfect Control Amneisa] on him and have him take the blame."

"I know. And I've been improving myself. I've been in Ashurbanipal and read all the books on warfare, math, and many others. I've even had Demiurge tutor me and help me control my [Blood Frenzy, Cocytus helps with fighting and I even had that brat help me with tracking and navigating."

"Yes, Lord Ainz is aware that you are trying to improve yourself. But back on point, and I will be taking Lord Ainz's place."

Mjurran was sweating in her bed, she kept tossing and turning until she suddenly stopped, rose up and left.

I kept running past various trees, the fog obstructed my view making it hard to traverse the area and dodge the trees until the last minute. I had a wound on my arm and I was in pain.

'This is just a dream.This is just a dream.This is just a dream.This is just a dream.This is just a dream. He's dead! Rimuru said so.'

A man with a white suit stood in front of me.

"I assure you this isn't a dream nor am I dead."

I just turned around and ran in another direction.

'Maybe this is just a realistic nightmare. Yeah, must me. Come on... wake up!'

I stopped when I saw the same man in front of me. I tried to run once more but I count move.

'Why out of all the times am I paralyzed now?!'

"Because we made it like that."

I finally gave up and ask a question.

"Who we?"

"Me and my master."

"So you just became a servant after your resurrection?"

"Who said I started to serve him after my resurrection?.. oops said too much. This is no nightmare, this is just a fail safe I had implemented in case if needed."

"How-"

"I did more than just remove your heart, I was told to place multiple fail safes, many with various different purposes. For example, one makes you take huge amounts of magicules until you explode killing many. Enjoy your time here."

Clayman slowly faded away and when he was gone I could move again.

'How much of it is true? Is this more than a nightmare? Never mind I just have to figure out a way to wake up."
