A/N: A new story, well I got to say this one has been a long time coming. It is clear as day it is a Crossover, and funny because am not that big of a fan of this two franchise.
But they have grown on me a lot, over the past few months. Then I decided let it be.
Although I had written a Fairy Tail fanfic which never made it to this platform, it was deleted along few other write ups. It was not that good anyway, but hopefully this one is and will be.
A quick Disclaimer: I do not own Devil may cry, or Fairy Tail. Just a nice guy writing for those who, would hopefully receive with hugs and kisses.
Now, now my fanfic loving people. Here you have it, DMC 5- post story Fairy Tail- post story. . . Of course there is going to be romance, Gore (ahhhh), death, fighting and maybe a lot of sex (oops, dear me how out of the blue , could not control myself, oh well).

" Hey vergil, how long do you think we've been down here " said Dante
Dante the legendary devil hunter, a paranormal mercenary, private investigator and a vigilante, and also a human and demon hybrid. Dante's hair is somewhat parted with his bangs brushed down; His outfit takes on a more simple look, than in all previous years. His red jacket is faded, has a washed-out look, a skull on his back and also resembles his jacket, of a couple of years back.
He wears an ordinary black Henley T-shirt with three buttons as the sleeves itself reach through his elbows, where it also features torn details, for his wrists he wears black driving gloves and white bandages. For his legs, he wears a black belt with golden accents, black leather pants, and brown boots. His hair and beard also grow after being in a coma for a month. This has given Dante a more grungy look. Dante's black Henley T-Shirt also appears dark blue during daylight.
Dante, second twin son of the legendary dark knight sparda: a powerful demon who once saved the human world from a onslaught by demons, two thousand year's back, betraying his own kind. . .
Dante had just done something similar, having saved 'Red Grave' city from the demons, and Qliphoth roots which over ran every part of the city, with the help of his Nephew 'Nero' doing most of the demon killing and root cutting.
Dante also had to stop the cause of all the trouble's, which was a powerful demon for a time known as 'Urizen' the demon-king. He lost against the tall and huge demon, but ultimately won, after a month of sleep. Returning to the scene, and gaining a new level of great demonic power by stabbing himself with his signature weapon given to him by his father 'Rebellion', and absolving the devil sword 'Sparda'
Dante later went after his twin brother, 'Virgil' to have a final battle, and retrieve the 'Yamato' a powerful sword like unto the 'Rebellion', and once wielded by Sparda himself, a weapon powerful enough to cut open space-time. . .
" No idea, are you tired? Cause you are whining " Replied Vergil
Vergil has fair, yet pale skin, and white, swept back hair, which puts emphasis on the fierce, yet stoic expression on his face; however, when his hair is brushed down or becomes wet, his appearance is physically indistinguishable from his younger twin brother, Dante. Just like his brother, he also has the same, blue-colored eyes but with a clear shaven face.
His coat is now black with light neon blue serpentine patterns and three separated coattails with slightly tattered edges. Vergil is no longer wearing an ascot tie as he was wearing a black sleeveless zippered-turtleneck beneath his midnight blue formal vest. He also wears charcoal gray fingerless gloves, black pants and dark boots covered by teal gaiters.
Vergil the older twin brother of Dante, a man whom sort power by any means, and unlike his younger twin who cleans up demon problems. He instead causes them, going as far as to utilizing his signature weapon 'Yamato' to separate his demon half from his human half, the human, being 'V' a once mysterious Individual with a distinguished black hair from when he was whole.
The demon, being 'Urizen' a powerful usurper, whom took a seat in the Qliphoth, the main extremely tall tree which grew and emerged from within the demon world. And spread roots all across Red Grave, causing death and chaos.
Giving way to the rising of different kinds, of demons.
As urizen, Virgil was powerful enough to defeat his younger twin 'Dante' as he had always wanted. He sent the white haired legendary devil hunter, to a month long coma. Unfortunately, for him. Dante woke up, got hold of the Devil sword Sparda from V whom had tried to use it to stab him.
Despite having eaten the fruit which the Qliphoth bore, after draining much human blood. His power as that demon 'Urizen' was unable to defeat a newly powered Dante, although was ultimately weakened after much battles before reaching Vergil as Urizen.
After his defeat in his demonized state, V, his human half was crumbling. Unable to maintain his life, without his other half, merged himself back with his demon half. And he, once again became whole. A complete hybrid being.
Along with way more power than in previous years, including when he was a demon. But even with enough power to eliminate his weakened twin brother, he remained a honorable warrior and told Dante to come for him only after he had regained his strength. . .
And so the time came, the two brothers, faced in a deadly match against one another. Just like they did all their lives, the two were undoubtedly evenly matched and would have canceled each other out.
Had 'Nero' vergil's son. Whom he had no idea of, until told by Dante whom had figured it out. Intervened.
The Quarter demon, having attained a true demon power, putting him on the same level as his somewhat exhausted father. Battled him, to end Vergil's and Dante's unending sibling rivalry.
His son won against him, and after a few exchanges of words. Decided they should sever the Qliphoth from the Underworld, and seal the portal to the human realm with the 'Yamato'.
His son somewhat fearing they would not be able to return, tried to stop them. But failed in doing so, and he and Dante flew down into the demon world. Severed the Qliphoth, and began to exchange sword clashes.
A few weeks later in the human world, the two brothers, are still engaged in battle, restlessly doing so, while eliminating dangerous demons in the process, within the plane of the demon world. . .
The tokamak handle on Vergil's 'Yamato' has a pattern closer to a real katana, giving it the traditional diamond shape in the negative space. There is no longer a dragon on the pommel/kashira, and the rim fittings from throughout the sword no longer have flowing line patterns in gold on shakudo like black metal; rather, gold dragon styled menuki are inserted underneath the tokamak to allow for the fingers to grip. The Tsuba/handguard is now gold and a deep navy blue, shaped like an octagon with two trapezoidal halves, each with gold dot pattern patches and in a grove like a motif with gold rings, inside of which are various circles in clusters of three, arranged in triangular patterns, and the gold habaki/fuller is also with a similar embossed pattern.
The Hamon featured is a kawazuko choji or tadpole head clove flower styled Hamon as similar to those found on blades historically made by Osafune Nagamitsu. The blade now also has prominent temper lines.
The scabbard is black, made of traditional lacquered wood, and features several metallic ornaments on its far end. In Past years it has a gold kurigata, In the Present time, the color of kurigata is black. It also featured a yellow sageo, the cord used to tie the katana to the waist. But now the sageo is blue, with gold dot accents.
Dante chuckled.
" Nothing bad with resting a little, just thinking about you, you might need the break, " Dante said tauntingly
Vergil raised the Yamato vertically before, turning towards Dante who was standing several meters at his right.
"It would seem you still are not tired of a beating, little brother, " Vergil said confidently taunting him also, but with a neutral face.
Dante smiled, as he once again summoned his new Devil sword Dante.
The Devil Sword Dante's appearance, is relatively simple compared to its counterparts: appearing as a large two-handed sword made mostly of a dark substance that resembles solidified lava, with claws running up its length,talons for a handguard, and a red jewel on its pommel.
" Come on then, Dante " Vergil said signalling with a gesture of his hand towards himself.
Dante lunged forward with his sword in a blur, and attempt a rising sword strike against Vergil, whom swiftly unsheathed the Yamato from it's scabbard and horizontally positioning the blade, then blocked the strike with the edge. . . Dante applying demonic force, forced Vergil off the ground, and into the air.
Dante disappeared in a blur, teleporting. He appeared above Vergil, and unleashed several sword slashes, which vergil was forced to block and parry, while in mid air.
Like a cat, while Vergil descended. Instead of falling on his back, he performed a back flip and landed on the blood stained, demonic deep root ground. Vergil fell on one knees, stabbing the Yamato into the ground for support.
Vergil's breathing was labored, they had been fighting for a long while now and they both still seem to get a tick from taunting each other. Vergil looked at Dante, whom was also in the same state has him.
But they were not going to allow stress stop them, their stamina might be almost out. But they won't quit.
Vergil forced himself to get up, and approached Dante with swift steps, unleashing deadly swings from his blade. Dante dodged and dodged, pulling his legendary devil sword along, as he was barely avoiding a cut to his neck line.
Dante leapt back into the air, manifesting a fiery energy magical platform beneath him, pushed off it with a single tap of his foot and back flipped safely to the ground. Landing weakly on both feet's.
Vergil charged in, and Dante, placing his devil sword on his back. Pulled out 'Ebony' and 'Ivory' concealed within his coat. Handling the black pistol in his left, and white in his right. Dante pulled at the trigger, and fired demonic powered shots, in a rapid fire at Vergil.
Vergil halt his charge and focused on dodging the shots, while parrying away those he could with Yamato. Vergil did not currently possess the strength to perfectly dodge, and counter the shots which were thankfully more weaker than usual due to Dante's exhausted state.
Dante's vision blurred somewhat, he had strained himself too much, he put his handguns back into their hostlers in his coat.
Vergil stood his ground, like unto Dante. Even if using all his remaining strength to do so, he was staring at his twin brother.
" Something tells me, all this fighting is never going to end " Dante said with a weak smile
Having heard that before, Vergil smirked.
" Maybe, but we knew that coming down here. We might as well go on, and seal the portal " Vergil said
" Read my- mind " Dante said
Dante raised his sword and placed it on his shoulder, Vergil sheathed the Yamato and the two began to walk towards where the portal was located, along a path of pale white vegetation.
Their walk was short-lived, as the mid and high rank demons of the underworld emerged, surrounding them.
" Forgot this shit hole, is still crawling with them " Dante said stopping to look amused at the enemies surrounding them.
" We do not have enough strength and stamina to dispose of them right now " Vergil said
" Then we open a path, cutting through and continuing on " Dante said
" My thoughts exactly " Vergil said
The two brother's with a set plan to get through their oppositions, were interrupted by an unexpected huge beam of light which manifested out of nowhere, at the exact same spot as where the severed Qliphoth tree emerged.
" What the hell. . . " Dante said
Vergil looked also at the beam of light, the demons also were alerted by the light, and it began to dangerously expand. Closing on them.
" Guess this might as well be how we die, unexpectedly " Vergil said
" Then we party till the end " Dante said with a smile
Vergil smiled to, and the two charged the demons whom were cut off guard by the light. The sibling began to cut the demons down, one at a time with all the strength and speed their body could muster at their current state.
Until the very moment, the light engulfed them all. . .
The Kingdom of Fiore is one of the countries located on The Earth Land. Fiore is also the main residence of "Fairy Tail" Fiore is a neutral nation with a population of almost 17 million people. The kingdom is located on the western most peninsula. It is surrounded on three sides by ocean, and has land borders with Bosco and Seven. Additionally, Caelum and Fiore combine their sea trade routes.
It is a state in which the current regime is a monarchy and is ruled by a Queen, who is the head of the government. Next to the Queen is the power exercised by the government. The part of the government responsible for the supervision of the Magic and the guilds is The Magic Council.It supervises guilds, including outlawing their activities, has the ability to appoint Wizard Saints, which gives official orders and sends complaints to the Guild Masters.
The capital Is Crocus, and the monetary unit in Fiore Kingdom Is Jewels.
In X792, The Dreaded Alvarez Empire Launched an all out attack on Fiore in order to gain control of the wizard Guild Fairy Tail's greatest Treasure Fairy Heart. They once tried to invade but were stopped years ago by The Magic Council's powerful weaponsEtherionandFace.Their invasion started out with a vanguard of 50 aircrafts, 2 of the Spriggan 12and numerous soldiers. While Fairy Tail was engaging the Vanguard, elsewhere Alvarez already deployed 4 separate forces from all directions.
From the west is a force of 1,000,000 strong, accompanied with one of Spriggan 12 and The Emperor Himself.
To the north is a force of 300 ships and 3 more of the Spriggan 12. To the south, a force of 300 ships carrying 3 of the Spriggan 12 and 300,000 troops seized the port town of Hargeon. To the east, came a force of 1,000,000 troops and the last 3 members of the Spriggan 12 who had just finished conquering the neighboring country of Bosco.In response to this threat, the Wizards of Fiore were deployed to the different locations,
Sabertooth and Blue Pegasus to the north,Lamia Scale And Mermaid Heel To the south, the currently strongest four members of the Ten Wizard Saints In the east, while Fairy Tail assisted in those battles by sending some of the members to different fronts.
In the year X793, one year after the war with Alvarez, the Queen has been working at making a mutual relationship with their opposing western country.
Meanwhile, Fairy Tail's Original location was situated in the Kingdom of Fiore, on the southern coast of the country in magnolia Town Where, it was the only guild (until the arrival of twilight Ogre). It was located in the south of the town not far from the coast, and the guild was situated about 4-5 kilometers up the Magnolia central path. When the core members of Fairy Tail disappeared for 7 years, the remaining members could no longer afford to keep fairy Tail's first buildings it went into foreclosure.
After they left it, they moved into a small tavern, that lies on top of a small hill, and made it their base of operations.Though upon arriving back in Magnolia town after their victory at the Grand Magic Games, the guild's first building has since been rebuilt in the center of the city by the people of Magnolia town as a reward for their victory in the Grand Magic Games.
In present day, a few years after the war with Alvarez, the cloud's of Magnolia summed up ten to nothing, as scarcity was upon the cloud's. The heat of the sun just burn's the ellipticals off the face of the sky.
The appearance of the current Fairy Tail building is very similar to the previous one, but has some slight changes. For example, this one doesn't have a bell in the central tower. The fence around the building with the big gate, as well as the "open air cafe" are missing too. The new building has some little towers on both sides of the main tower. The banner with the guild's insignia has been replaced with a large wooden sign bearing the guild's name that resembles the one that was previously at the fence gate. On top of the main tower there is now a flag with Fairy Tail's guild symbol.
Inside the closed door's of the wizard's guild Fairy Tail, are few mage's. Most of them on mission's, well it does take special event's to have all the wizard's of Fairy tail gathered together. But those who were present actually were unique.
The first floor of the building resembles a lot like the previous one, keeping the tables and the stage.
And residing deep below the guild is a stone underground passage, consisting of a long spiral staircase, which can only be described as huge.
The entrance to such place is secret, and the stairs end in a large, mildly ruined and yet majestic room, possessing columns on its walls and brick arcs, with its carved walls adorned by several Fairy Tail symbols, with a larger one standing on a circular platform in the center of the room, held up by four small bridges and being seemingly suspended above a deep hole. Numerous long banners are attached to the walls and ceiling, and a massive double door is located on the other side of the room from the entrance. This seems to be usually kept closed by a large, magical glyph floating in front of it, which was shown being undone By Makarov Dreyar.
Behind the door was Once Lumen Histoire. This secret is only known by Fairy Tail's Master and is passed on to each new one successively. Precht showed it to Makarov when he became Master, and in turn he showed it to Gildarts Clive when he wanted him to be the next Fairy Tail Master. . .
Standing at the bar counter beside the seated green haired rune using mage, Fried. Was non other than the Fairy tail's late master, makarov; a short grey haired old man's grandson. Laxus a tall muscled blond young man, with a lightning shaped scar on the right side of his face. From the top of his eye brow over his eye, and down.
Behind the bar counter is Mirajane strausse, a beautiful long white haired young woman. And the demon powered mage, with almost the coolest composure and nicest personality. Also a kind and loving sister to elfman and Lissana.
" It's quite rare we see you both around, especially at this time " Mirajane said the "we" remark refers to the guild, even if it wasn't half full.
" We just stopped by to relax a bit " Said fried " a cup of sake " Said Laxus, he wasn't really asking, but his tone wasn't demanding either.
Mirajane understood the need to relax once in a while, even though she rarely leave's the guild. She doesn't take mission's like the other's do, but she does mostly took care of the guild and the request board. And other guild related stuff. But she was surprised by Laxus request.
" Sake? At this time of day " She wondered what could be going on in his mind, but seeing the expression. Which clearly states he must have the sake he requested.
" Give me a second " Mirajane said and briefly excused herself into the eye cannot reach places on her side of the counter.
" Yeah, we're back ! " Yelled a loud male voice as the door to the guild burst open.
And team Natsu burst in, of course the voice belonging to non other. Than the fire dragon slayer/ adopted son of the fire dragon igneel, also little brother of the dark immortal wizard Zeref.
Natsu is a lean, muscular young man of average height with a slightly tan skin tone, black eyes, spiky pink-colored hair, and has abnormal sharp canines; Natsu has a scar on the right side of his neck, hidden by his scarf. Following his intense battle with the Rogue Cheney of the future, Natsu gains a cross-shaped scar on the left side of his abdomen, a result of the two fatal wounds the man dealt to him during their altercations.He later attains a new scar, this one being a jagged blemish on his right cheek, which he gained following his battle with Zeref. Natsu's guild mark is red and is located just below his right shoulder.
The team, consisted of Natsu himself, gray fullbuster, beautiful and chesty Lucy Heartfilia, Natsu's cat like companion. The fish loving, Happy. And the gorgeous red haired and current Fairy-Tail Re-equip Master, Erza Titania Scarlet. Who for unknown reason still takes mission's, and unfortunately there was no one to deny her.
Wearing a blue blouse and short's, Erza looked around the guild. The little people there, had turned their attention to them. Due to Natsu's yell, which also caused her to become irritated and adorn a frown on her beautiful face.
" Natsu if you don't shut your mouth, I'll make sure you can't speak for a week " Erza threatened, for some reason almost everyone present in the guild including those with her shivered in fear.
Those that didn't were non other, than Laxus, fried and Mirajane. Whom had retrieved and given the sake Laxus requested.
Natsu was donned in an open-collared, one-sleeved long gold trimmed, black overcoat version of his original waistcoat, which is instead tucked in and zipped. The sleeve covers Natsu's left arm with a faux leather brown armband, leaving his Fairy Tail mark, as well as his entire right arm, consequently exposed. Natsu continues wearing Igneel's scarf and retains the same lower clothing. He now wears his wristband on his right wrist.
Natsu acknowledging the promise of pain, shut his mouth and quickly made his way to a table. Far from Erza's reach, he might be powerful enough to have fought Zeref. But he sure as hell does not want to piss her off.
Lucy, Gray and Happy followed after Natsu. While Erza made her way to the counter. With only one thought in mind "Strawberry cake", her favourite dessert in the world.
" Hey Erza, how was the mission? " Mirajane asked in her usual sweet tone
Erza had no need to tell mirajane what she needed, for the demon take over mage to be swift to bring her a slice of strawberry cupcake on a plate.
" As usual, Natsu got into a brawl with all of the member of the dark guild we, were supposed to subdue. Using his no brain flame head, destroying both the guild and the surrounding buildings. . . " Erza explained
Erza used the small neat iron spoon beside the plate, took a spoon full cut of her cake and ate it, as she tasted it. Erza's cheek's became red with delight.
" And?..." Mirajane asked
Fried and Laxus listened in silence.
" I could not resist dealing out a beating, and it got out of hand as usual. So we got no pay, it all went to the repair of the town " Erza explained heaving a sigh
" That's team natsu " Mirajane said with a light chuckle
" What brings you two around, thought you guys were busy? " Erza asked
Erza glanced at the two Raijin squad members, their appearance a surprise.
" We were in town, and we decided to drop in. Why, is our presence a bother? " Laxus said his brows furrowed in question
Erza smiled.
" Not at all, have fun " Erza said standing up, and taking her plate of strawberry cake with her.
" Are Lisanna and Levi's team still on their mission? " Erza asked
" Yes, but they should return today " Mirajane said.
Before they had left, Mirajane's little sister 'Lisanna' had left on a monster hunting mission with Levi and her team. Erza had expected them to have returned before them.
" Thanks for the cake " Erza said
Mirajane gave her a smile, as the red haired master made her way to where her close friends 'team natsu' were sitting. . .
Nearing the table her friends were at, a loud whoosh caught her attention, followed by a loud boom. Every mage present in the guild, sitting and standing became alerted.
" What was that? " Gray Fullbuster, the ice mage who unfortunately has a tendency of stripping down to his shorts unknowingly.
" Is the town under attack!? " Lucy the celestial spirit summoning mage exclaimed, frightened by the loud boom.
" Let's check it out " Natsu said standing fast, and rushing out the door.
Erza followed Natsu quickly, walking out the doorway into the daylight of magnolia.
Team Natsu, along with the others quickly emerging from the guild, witnessed a huge dark red beam of light, far off reaching into the skies.
Their expressions fell in a emotional discomfort.
" What is that, it feels awful," Lucy said
Civilians going about their day could only watch along with the mages, as the huge light vanished. And become replaced by a rising giant tree, its height easily sighted by everyone. And it was not until sharp-edged roots, became emerging from a great distance. Only the echoes of pain alerted everyone, something bad is happening.
" What's going on? " Erza asked unsure of the new situation. . .
