DISCLAIMER: I DO NOT OWN HARRY POTTER, I ONLY OWN EVELYN AND THE OTHERS.

He tried his best to stay present during the conversation. He found it hard. Due to his condition, he was behind with homework and had to stay late to catch up. To his fortunate, he had been able to finish all of his homework and to his unfortunate, he had to stay until morning to finish them. So, he had no sleep and was trying his best not to sleep.

"Remus..." He blinked when his name was called. "Are you hearing me?"

His dark green eyes averted to the redhead before me. She crossed her arms and raised an eyebrow at him. He realized that she had noticed that he was almost dozing off. "I'm sorry, Lily." He mumbled. "I didn't get much sleep last night." She didn't say anything, but he did notice her expression soften. She knew, he thought to himself. She knew that he was a werewolf. He knew that Snape had probably told her his suspicions a long time ago. He wondered if Snape told her what a few weeks ago. "What were you saying?"

"I was talking about the prefect schedule." She let him know and he hummed. "Can you do your rounds with Diggory today? He talks a lot and honestly, I can't stand it anymore."

Remus smiled before he nodded his head. "Sure. I can handle Diggory for an hour."

"Of course, you can. Compared to Potter, Diggory is probably nothing." Remus snorted. She was right after all. The only reason why he could deal with Diggory was that he was used to James. He loved James, but his friend could talk someone's ear off. "I'll do the rounds with Crouch instead."

Remus frowned at the mention of Barty Crouch. "Crouch? Isn't Lynn available?" He winced when he mentioned her name. "I've been doing the rounds with her these past few days."

Lily clenched her jaw at the mention of Evelyn. Just as with many people, Evelyn had a falling out with Lily too. "She's in America." She informed him. He noticed the bitterness laced with her voice. "And to be honest, I prefer Crouch over her." He didn't say anything. He only nodded at her words. "Either way, thank you for agreeing to this. I owe you."

"No problem."

At that moment, the door of the classroom they were in opened. James entered the room, strutting as usual. From the corner of his eyes, Remus saw Lily'ssoft expression harden in less than a second.

"What are you doing here, Potter?" She snapped at him. James opened his mouth, but she didn't let him speak. "Are you stalking me or something? Why can't you ever leave me alone? You're seriously so-"

"I asked him to come here after he was finished with lunch." Remus interrupted her. Lily's eyes went wide and she turned to look at him. Remus grimaced when their eyes met. "I forgot to tell you."

Lily huffed. "Alright, then." She gathered her notebook, ink bottle and quill. "I was just about to leave either way." She raised her head and walked toward the door.

"Aren't you going to apologize to me?" James flashed her a smile as she walked by him.

Lily didn't even glance at him. "No." She answered him and slammed the door shut.

James jumped at the noise and took a few steps. He turned around and whistle. "She's so feisty, isn't she?" Remus didn't say anything about it. She would describe Lily Evans as more of a hothead rather than feisty. "She's my type."

"Yeah, the whole Hogwarts population knows that," Remus commented.

As James took a seat on one of the empty chairs around him, Remus remembered why he called James to begin with. He try to gulp down, but he wasn't able to. He felt as if he had something stuck in his throat. Instead, he straightened his back and tried to tell himself that he needed to be honest. He couldn't carry this burden alone for so long.

"So, what did you want to talk about, Moony?" James asked as he made himself comfortable in the chair.

Remus looked at his friend. "It's about Sirius."

James flinched at the mention of their friend. Or their former friend. Remus still didn't know where Sirius stood in his life after what he had done.

"If you've made a decision, I stand by it," James stated. Remus didn't believe his friend. From the way James was fidgeting and biting his lip, Remus knew that James wouldn't stand by all of his decision. He knew that if he decided that he didn't want to associate with Sirius anymore, James wouldn't be able to stand by him. James was Sirius' friend first and then, he was his and Peter's.

"I haven't and it's not about that." He told James. "I did something bad."

"To Sirius?" Remus gave him a faint nod. "Did you convince Dumbledore to expel him?"

Remus shook his head. "Dumbledore already decided that. He gave Sirius a second chance." He only hoped that Sirius wouldn't throw this second chance away as he had a habit of doing. "I did something else. I did something that I knew would hurt Sirius when I did it."

James leaned forward and frowned. "What did you do?"

"I told Lynn what he did to Snape."

As soon as he said those words, Remus saw James' face fall. His best friend leaned against the chair and let out a shaky breath. "Oh..." He muttered. "What exactly did you tell her?"

"Everything. I didn't leave a single detail out." When he had told Evelyn, he had thought of two things. He had thought how good it was to tell someone that wasn't involved with that night. It felt even better when Evelyn had been totally on his side and validated all of his feelings. However, he also got this pleasure in telling Evelyn of all people what Sirius did. "I did it to hurt Sirius." He admitted it out loud.

"Yeah, that's obvious, mate," James mumbled as she ran a hand through his messy hair. "This makes everything more difficult."

Remus knew that James hoped that they could put everything behind them and be friends again. What Remus did had just complicated the situation even more.

"What did she say?"

"We talked about me more than we talked about Sirius." He revealed. "She was quite patient to listen to me despite everything." James frowned at his choice of words. "She broke up with Lestrange." James' jaw dropped. "He attacked after she did and I had to save her."

His friend's jaw dropped so low that Remus was surprised that it didn't come off. "Oh, that's a lot to process." James started to rub both of his temples.

Remus sighed. "What am I going to do, Prongs? Should I tell him what I did?" He knew that Sirius wouldn't take it well. He had just lowered his chances to get together with Evelyn when she had just broken up with Rabastan. He had done this all on purpose. "He'll probably be very mad when he finds out."

"Hey, you don't know that. Maybe he's over Lynn." James jumped in to say and he frowned. "With the rumours that have been going on about her, I wouldn't fancy a girl like her either."

"What? What are you talking about?" Remus demanded as his guilt was replaced by utter confusion.

Lily bit her nails as she flipped through the pages of the Astronomy book. She had an essay due in two days and she hadn't even started yet. She had been trying to write it for days, but she kept pushing it for the next day. While Astronomy had never been her best subject, she always managed to do the essay rather than stall it.

She moved her position on her bed. Rather than laying on her stomach, she decided to sit cross-legged and rest her back on the headboard. Maybe in this position, she would be able to concentrate.

The door of her dorm burst open and Alice entered it, The short-haired girl's eyes were wide and she was practically jumping to say something.

"Godric, Alice, can you enter the room like a normal person?" Dorcas was finishing her Muggle Studies homework and seemed to have been interrupted by the sudden outburst, Mary who had been half-asleep, seemed wide awake because of it too.

"You won't believe what Hestia just told me," Alice announced, ignoring Dorcas.

Lily closed her Astronomy book. She would rather talk than do this essay. "What?"

"Hestia heard from Regina in Hufflepuff that Evelyn has been having sex with some seventh-year blokes."

Silence fell over them for a few seconds. Lily looked at Alice before she looked at the two other girls. She noticed that both the other girls were looking absentmindedly at the floor. Had Alice actually said that or had Lily imagined it? She didn't even know what to think.

"Kin ye repeat that?" Mary asked as she blinked.

"Evelyn Sinclair King has been having sex with some seventh-year blokes," Alice repeated it. This time, she spoke slower than before. "Hestia told me and she heard it from Regina in Hufflepuff."

Lily didn't know what to think. It couldn't be true, right? Evelyn wasn't that kind of person. She gulped down. She also had thought that Evelyn wasn't the kind of person to partake in Maraudes' cruel pranks, but she was.

"That can't be true," Dorcas stated. "She's not that kind of person."

"Some bloke named McGregor said that he was sleeping with her for weeks," Alice informed them. "Funny enough, he has a girlfriend and she's in the club. She also believes that it's true."

"I still don't believe it. She seems to be better than that."

Lily scoffed. "Please, if I learned something about Evelyn this year is that she's fake." All of her friends turned to her. "She's the kind of person to criticize people over something and then go ahead and do it. She's the biggest hypocrite in the world."

"That's most likelie th' reason she doesn't talk tae her friends anymair." Mary pointed out. "Maybe tis th' reason she doesn't talk tae Marlene either."

Alice hummed. "Maybe so. Marls never told us why she stopped being friends with her."

"What are you four talking about?" They all jumped when they heard Marlene's voice at the door. It seemed like Alice had forgotten to close the door. It explained why they hadn't heard Marlene coming in. "What did I never tell you about?"

"Why you stopped being friends with Eve," Dorcas responded.

Marlene rolled her eyes as she took off her scarf. From her swollen lips and flushed face, Lily guessed that she had been snogging Benjy. "That's none of your business." She retorted as she moved to sit on her bed.

"Is it because Evelyn had sex with all those blokes?"

The golden blonde stopped in her tracks. Her lips parted as she turned to look at Alice. She let out a laugh. "What-what are you talking about?"

"Some blokes have been saying that they have been having sex with Evelyn." Marlene squinted her eyes. "Someone said that they have been doing it for weeks."

Marlene laughed before she shook her head. "They're all lying. There's no way that Evelyn would do that." She said it with confidence taking Lily back. She had thought that Marlene hated Evelyn just as much as she did. After all, Marlene cried for hours after she had stopped being friends with Evelyn. "You shouldn't believe them."

Lily scoffed. "Why not? Eve is not as good as she pretends to be."

"She's not. I admit that." Marlene remarked. "However, she's not the type to stoop that low, especially with her circumstances."

"What circumstances?" Lily questioned her.

"It's not important to know." Marlene refused to shared anything when it came to Evelyn. Each day, lily found it more annoying. "What is important is for you all not to believe these rumours. Not only is it vicious to talk about this, but also a waste of our time."

Lily hummed. "There's something that I agree with." She opened her book again. "It is a waste of our time." The last thing she needed was to forget about school and discuss Evelyn and rumours that were probably true. She had better things to do and she wasn't going to waste her time not doing them.

Mona puckered her lips before she shook her head. "I don't think it's true." She decided. Ivy turned to look at her and scoffed. "I think all of these boys are lying."

"Some of them have girlfriends. They will be stupid to lie about something like this." Ivy pointed out as the two of them exited the Hufflepuff common room. The two of them were discussing the recent rumours that had enraptured Hogwarts. According to seven boys, during this term, Evelyn had been having sex with all of them several times. Mona was shocked at hearing the rumours. Initially, she had believed it, but thinking more about it, she didn't.

"Maybe they wanted to find reasons to break up with their girlfriends." She pointed out.

"McGregor and Entwhistle are still staying with their girlfriends," Ivy informed them. This news only confused Mona more. What kind of person would stay with someone who cheated on them? She could reasons spouses doing so, but high school romances were trivial compared to those. If she was one of those girls, she would dump her partner immediately. "I believe the rumours are true. I believe that the apple doesn't fall away from the tree."

Mona scoffed at her friend. While she loved Ivy, she believed that her friend always held a lot of resentment towards Evelyn. It was mostly due to Evelyn's mother's past actions. She had stolen one of Ivy's aunt's boyfriends back in the day. "Come on, don't be like this."

"What? Her mum is a hag and Evelyn is one too. This kind of thing is inherited."

The two of them started to ascend the stairs that led to the Entrance Hall. "If you say so, Ivy." Mona found herself letting her friend say whatever she wanted. She believed that there was no reason to discuss this anymore, especially since it was started to become an argument. Besides, Mona wasn't Evelyn's biggest fan at the moment. She had hurt Gabriela with her actions and Mona didn't like that at all.

When she entered the Great Hall, her eyes immediately sought out Gabriela. When they landed on the girl, Mona felt her heart squeeze a bit. She bit her lip and sighed. Since Evelyn had introduced her to Gabriela, she always had this feeling around her.

"I'm going to talk to Gabriela." She told Ivy who only nodded in response.

While Ivy headed to their Hufflepuff table, she made her way towards the Ravenclaw one. She felt her face warm up with each step she took. She noticed that Gabriela was eating her breakfast with Carter Ulver and Christina Lee. Diana Hurkle, Henrik Joyce and Edrick Decan were nowhere in sight.

"Hey." She greeted them. Gabriela immediately turned her head and smiled at her. Mona's heart skipped a beat at seeing Gabriela's sweet smile.

"Hello." Gabriela greeted her. "What are you doing here?"

Mona pressed her lips. "I was just wondering if you heard about the rumours-"

Carter Ulver cut her off. "Yes, very sad news." Her eyebrows rose at his words. "I can't believe that Sprout and Flitwick broke up. I thought they were the ideal couple."

Mona blinked. "Flitwick and Sprout are a couple?" This news was more shocking and honestly, more interesting than the rumours about Evelyn. She found it a bit funny too as it was about two of her professors.

"Yes, I think they've been together since the third year." He let out a sigh and cast a glance towards Flitwick and Sprout. The two of them were at the faculty table, sitting far apart. It was quite unusual as most of the time they sat next to each other. "Look, they're not even sitting next to each other." He sniffed.

Christina scoffed at him. "You are ridiculous." He stuck his tongue out at her. She ignored him and turned to Mona. "What rumours were you talking about?"

Mona hesitated to answer the question. She didn't know they would react to the rumours After all, these were rumours about someone they had been very close to. Someone who they had a bad end with. On top of that, they seemed to be clueless. Gabriela was drinking her tea as she usually did, Carter was trying to eat one of his sausages while Christina was looking at her with a bored look. Mona knew that the news would most likely ruin their morning.

However, as a Hufflepuff, she also knew that everyone needed to know the truth. She wasn't going to shield them, especially Gabriela, from the truth.

"A lot of boys have been saying that during this term, they have been..." She trailed off as she hesitated again. "...having sex with Evelyn."

Gabriela spits her tea out, Carter dropped his sausage from his fork while Christina's eyes widened immediately.

"What?!" They exclaimed in sync.

"Yeah, I'm surprised that you hadn't heard about it. A lot of people are talking about it." She noticed the three of them share a look before they looked at her. "They're trying to decide if it's true or not."

"How is it anyone's business what Juliet-Evelyn does?" Carter retired. His playful expression was long gone and replaced with a displeased one. "Don't people have better things to do?"

"It's a bit of people's business as some of these girls have broken." This time, all of their jaws fell. "All of these girls are in the club too. Girls in my house have been talking about having a meeting about her since she's not here."

Gabriela shook her head. "That's not fair. If there is a meeting about this, Evelyn should be there." She pointed out. "She started the club and she has done a great job."

"It's just a meeting." Mona reminded her. She didn't know why Gabriela was making it seem like it was a crime to have it without Evelyn. They had one scheduled this week without her either way.

"A meeting discussing Evelyn which would lead to her being kicked out," Christina informed her. Mona hadn't even thought about that. She had believed that they were just going to discuss Evelyn and what she had presumably done. "While Evelyn has been a lousy leader and the biggest hypocrite in the world, kicking her out isn't the solution, especially without her here."

"Maybe she won't get kicked out. She helped a lot of people with the debate last year." Mona assured them. It failed. The three of them didn't seem to be assured at all. If anything, they were even more concerned about this which led to Mona also worrying if Evelyn was going to be kicked out or not.

Her jade green eyes averted to Joanna and Mira. The two of them were walking ahead of her together, whispering to each other. Her friends since she had been a little girl, were secretly talking to each other while ignoring her for weeks. She could only guess what they were talking about her. After all, they hadn't even bothered to hide why they were upset with her.

"Sorry for being late." She turned her head to see Felicia, the only one of her friends that were talking to her. Funny enough, Felicia was the one she met when she came into Hogwarts. Her friend had gone to the bathroom and Elena waited for her outside. "Shall we head to the club right now?"

Elena only followed her friend. She didn't say anything. As she looked at Joanna and Mira, she found herself not even wanting to go to the club. She didn't even get why they were having a meeting so early in the week. While she knew that they were going to talk about the obvious false rumours about Evelyn, she saw no point in doing this without her presence there. However, if she was being honest, she didn't want to be close to Joanna and Mira more than she cared about her cousin at the moment.

"I can't believe they're still not talking to you," Felicia commented. "Do you know that the choice wasn't even yours?"

"They don't care about that," Elena responded. "All they care about is how I stole Sirius Black away from them." She let out a scowl. "If they want him so much, they could have him."

Felicia nudged her. "Are you kidding? You're betrothed to Sirius Black, the most handsome boy in the school. You should be happier than this."

"How can I? First, my friends aren't talking to me because of it. Second, Sierra hexed me for days because of it until I spoke to Slughorn about it. Third, he might be handsome, but it doesn't erase how insufferable he is." When she married Sirius, she hoped that she would go deaf in the first years of their marriage. It would save her from losing her sanity.

"Joanna and Mira will get over it," Felicia told her. "Those two love weddings more than they love anything else."

Elena stayed silent. She had found herself wishing every night that the wedding wouldn't happen. She knew that Sirius was upset about this too, even more than her. Knowing how rebellious he could be, she wished that he would do something to end their betrothal. She even found herself wishing that he would drop dead just so she wouldn't marry him. Of course, she felt horrible every time that horrible thought reached her mind.

Alongside Felicia, she entered the classroom where the club meetings were held. As soon as she stepped in, she felt this unbearable tension in the room. From the looks of it, it seemed like the meeting had already started.

"I want her to be kicked out!" A girl screeched making both her and Felicia wince. "She had sex with my boyfriend!"

Elena knew that the rumours were untrue. Looking at it from a chronological standpoint and having more information than the usual person, she knew that Evelyn didn't have sex with these boys. She didn't know why these rumours existed. She just knew they were wrong.

"She had sex with my boyfriend too." Another girl spoke up.

"Merlin, the bastard has more free time than I thought." Felicia joked and Elena faked a laugh.

Marlene McKinnon scoffed. "I hardly believe so. Evelyn isn't the type of person to do that." She insisted. "Besides, why the bloody hell are you still with these boys? According to you, they cheated on you, right?"

"I'm sorry, but that is none of your business." The first girl who had spoken when Elena entered the classroom, said. She frowned as she realized that she didn't know most of these girls' names. "It's private."

"Isn't what Evelyn did private as well?" Dorcas Meadows, a black Gryffindor girl, questioned the older girl. "If you need to sort this out with her, you need to do it outside the club."

"What she did was against everything that this club stands for." The smaller girl of the two pointed out. "This club is about supporting and lifting each other. Shagging our boyfriends is the opposite of that." Elena believed that the girl had a point. However, Evelyn hadn't done this. She was with Rabastan when all of this was apparently happening. "Plus, she hasn't been the best leader either. She has been lazy, silent and sometimes, she has missed meetings."

Greta Catchlove, one of the best students in the school, cleared her throat. "According to the rules of the club that she wrote herself, we need ten people to motion a voting process to kick her out. We got these ten people."

"I'm sorry, Great, but why are you even involved with this?" Diana Hurkle suddenly raised her voice. "You're not even dating any of these boys."

She shrugged. "She hurt my friends with all of her actions."

"How do we even know the rumours are true?" Hurkle asked what Elean had been wondering.

"You think our boyfriends lied to us?" The tall girl gaped as she looked at Hurkle.

Christina Lee scoffed. "You're talking about the same boyfriends apparently who cheated on you, right?"

Out of a sudden, a loud argument started between the two opposing sides. The girls against Evelyn and the ones defending her. Elena stayed silent as she listened to the argument. She knew the best choice for her was to watch this from the sidelines.

It was Lily Evans who broke the argument. She stepped in front of the group and raised her hand. "Stop!" She demanded. To Elena's immense surprise, they all stopped. She didn't think Lily would be able to stop it. To her, it seemed like the girls were about to get into a physical fight. "How about we vote right now?" She suggested. "Before this situation gets worst..."

"But some people still have to arrive in the club." A Slytherin girl in the fourth year name Keira Mantis pointed out. "For example, Lucinda and Emma are still stuck in Quidditch practice."

"More than half of the club is here. The rules state that we can do that." Lily pointed out. Elena frowned as she had no idea how Lily Evans knew this. Had she previously read them or did she know them by heart much like Evelyn? "Who wants Evelyn out of the club?"

Many girls rose their hands immediately. More than half of the club. Elena's stomach fell when she realized what was happening. She noticed that other people had realized as well. Marlen McKinnon's loud scoff was a big indicator of that.

As she looked around, Elena was surprised to see that many people who Evelyn considered friends raised their hands. She was surprised to see that Lily Evans who Evelyn seemed to be pretty close with, had raised her hand as well.

"Elena." Felica tugged her sleeve. "Raise your hand."

Elena froze. She found herself immediately stuck between crossroads. If she voted Evelyn, she knew that she would get in trouble. With how mean Mira and Joanna were to her, she wouldn't be surprised if they immediately reported to her family. If her family, especially her brother, grandfather and uncle, found out about her friendship with Evelyn, she would be doomed. She couldn't risk.

So, despite everything that happened between her and Evelyn, Elena raised her hand. She joined the lot and participated in kicking her cousin off the club Evelyn started and even helped Elena herself. If she had been in a different situation, she would have spoken up and wouldn't allow Evelyn to be kicked out. However, she wasn't.

"Who wants Evelyn to stay?"

Marlen McKinnon, Christina Lee, Dian Hurkle, Gabriela Suarez, Mona Andora and Dorcas Meadows were the only ones who raised their hands this time. Since they were only six girls, Lily Evans announced that Evelyn had been kicked out of the club and it was effective immediately.

"Are you ready?" James asked him. Remus hesitated as the two of them alongside Peter linger beside the doo. He didn't know if he was completely ready to face Sirius. He didn't even know if he should do this. He also knew that part of being a Gryffindor was to face your struggles and if he didn't, he didn't deserve to be called a Gryffindor. "Moony..."

Remus snapped out of his thoughts. He didn't even answer James. He only opened the door of the dorm and let himself in. He found Sirius in his bed, flipping through a muggle motorcycle magazine. Sirius didn't look up, but Remus could feel that he was trying to sneak glances from his position.

"Why did you do it?" He asked out of a sudden. Sirius didn't move at all. Remus only noticed that his shoulders stiffened. "Why did you do it, Padfoot?"

Sirius took a deep breath. He got up from his bed and looked at him. Remus gulped won when he noticed the bags under his eyes and how pale Sirius looked. He looked more sickly than Remus himself.

"I didn't think," Sirius told him what he already knew. When they had spoken a few weeks back, Sirius had said the same thing. "I was pissed with my parents," Remus rolled his eyes. He didn't want to hear excuses. "because they betrothed me to Elena Sinclair-"

"What?" Peter asked what everyone was thinking. Remus had no idea about this. From the looks of it, James and Peeter had been as clueless as he was. "What are you talking about?"

"They betrothed me to Elena without my wish." Sirius clarified for them. Remus just watched his friend as he spoke. He could tell from early on that Sirius' parents weren't good, but with each passing year, they seemed to be worse. The worst of all was that Sirius rarely mentioned them to him. He knew this from what he had seen rather than been told. "I'm not going to go through it and to be honest, it's not serious. I was just mad that day and Snivellus kept bothering me about Remus all day. He wouldn't leave me alone. So, without properly thinking, I decided to pull a prank on him-"

"A prank?" Remus interrupted. "That was not a prank. That was attempted murder, you git!" James and Peter flinched at the volume of his voice while Sirius only looked at him. "You sent Snape to be killed by me."

"I never wanted him to die. I wanted him to be scared off."

"That didn't do anything. He hates us even more now." Remus reminded him. The tension between them and Snape had grown so high that a day didn't pass without him and James throwing hexes at each other.

"I didn't think that will happen-"

"Of course, you didn't. You never think. You allow yourself to be impulsive and reckless because you have the privilege to do it." Sirius immediately tensed and his glare turned cold. "All of your life you have been told that your actions have no consequences. Your family can use their power and money, and you will be fine no matter what you do. You let yourself act before you think because you can do that." Remus curled his firsts. He found the urge to punch Sirius in the face bigger than it had ever been. "You never face the consequences of what you did whether it's because of your family or your fame. And let's be honest here, Sirius, you love it." Sirius opened his mouth, but Remus didn't let him speak. "That's not going to work with me. Dumbledore might have left you to get away with only two months of detention, but that won't work with me."

Sirius shivered. "What-what are you-you talking about?" Sirius glanced at James, but James avoided his gaze. Peter did the same when Sirius looked at him.

"I told Lynn what you did," Remus revealed. He saw Sirius' shoulders drop, but other than that, he didn't move. "I told her what you did in detail." He breathed out. "I told her that you did that for your amusement-"

"I didn't do it because of that." Sirius defended himself.

"I know, but I told her that. I wanted to hurt you. That's why I did it." Remus admitted.

Silence fell between all four of them. An eerie silence made goosebumps appear on his skin. His eyes moved to James and Peter. His stomach dropped when he saw that both of them were focused on Sirius. Of course, he should have expected that.

"You had a right in doing that," Sirius whispered. Remus squinted his eyes. A part of him believed that he imagined all of that. "I deserve that from you after what I did." Remus' lips pated and his eyebrows rose high enough to touch his hairline. "Even this doesn't compare what I did to you. I'm sorry, Remus, for all of it."

Remus took a step back and blinked. He expected Sirius to yell and storm out of the room. After all, Evelyn was the girl he had fancied for years. "You're not mad at me?"

"Because it's not comparable." Sirius shrugged. "Yes, it sucks what you did, but I already had given up on her. She is with Lestrange, after all."

"They broke up the night I told her."

Sirius pursed his lips and squeezed his eyes shut. Remus wondered if his opinion would change considering all of this. "That doesn't change anything." Again, Sirius was calm, too calm for Remus' liking. A part of him had wanted for Sirius to get mad and never talk to him. "Lynn is the last thing in my mind right now... I have other stuff I need to figure out like our friendship." Remus immediately went alert. "Do you ever see yourself forgiving me for what I did?"

Remus hesitated. You see he had a plan before this. He hoped that Sirius would lose his mind after he learned that he told Evelyn everything. To his surprise and disappointment, Sirius hadn't. Remus had to face this struggle of his more than he thought that he had to.

He was still mad at Sirius. No, a part of him believed that he even hated Sirius for what he did. Although, he knew that if he didn't, their friend group would be ruined. There would be no Marauders. Ever. Other than that, Remus knew that James was the closest with Sirius. At this point, calling James and Sirius just best friends would be wrong. Those who were brothers. At some point, James would start to hang out with Sirius. Peter would follow in his footsteps. His other friend was a follower and both Sirius and James had a bigger impact on him than he did. He would be alone. He would have no friends. Just like it had been before Hogwarts. Just like he had been before he met them.

Remus spared Sirius a glance. Sirius had messed up. He had hurt Remus in such a cruel way. He didn't know if he could move past that, but he also knew that he would miss Sirius as a friend as well. Sirius wasn't always a good friend. He had made mistakes in the past before. Remus couldn't find it in himself to call him bad either. Sirius was the type of friend who didn't pry and ask questions when Remus was upset. He was the type of friend to drag you to have fun and drink firewhiskey. He was the type to distract you and make you laugh. He was the only friend that understood Remus as neither of them had ideal childhoods. Remus didn't want to lose him either.

He didn't want to be lonely.

"Yes," Remus responded to the question. Sirius's eyes widened. James and Peter turned to look at him. He saw their smiles immediately. "I forgive you."

Sirius breathed out. "Really?"

"Yeah. We can be friends again." James sighed in relief while Peter let out a little laugh. Sirius, on the other hand, only looked at him. "I think we will need some time to go back as we were, but we're friends."

At that moment, Sirius let his shoulders drop. He scratched his forehead before he nodded. "Thanks, mate. I won't disappoint you again."

"I know that." Remus tried to gulp down, but a lump appeared yet again. Instead, he shifted his body and hoped that Sirius wouldn't disappoint him again. If he was honest, he didn't have high hopes when it came to Sirius about that.

Evelyn looked at the girls in the classroom. Her lips twitched her and her forehead creased as she had no idea why she was here. It was Sunday. She had just returned from her dad's and had been given assignments and homework that she missed during the week. As she had been leaving Flitwick's office, Loraine York had approached her. She had told Evelyn that there was an emergency meeting.

From the looks of it, it wasn't. It wasn't even a meeting, to begin with. There were only about five girls in the club. Loraine, Lily, Greta Catchlove, Lola Bole, a seventh-year Hufflepuff and Tiara Bulstrode, a sixth-year Ravenclaw. They never had a meeting with so few members, not even an emergency one.

"What's going on?" Evelyn finally asked the question that she had been wondering since she arrived.

"You've been kicked out of the club," Lola informed her.

Evelyn didn't speak for a while. She let the words sink in before she raised her head and frowned. "Why?"

"Because you have been a horrible leader." Greta Catchlove responded to her. While Evelyn knew that she hadn't been paying attention to the club as she had the previous years, she didn't believe that she could be called a horrible leader. "You have missed three meetings this term, you only gives us the subject and stay silent for the rest of the meeting and you had sex with our boyfriends."

Evelyn agreed with the first two points, but the third point threw her off. She didn't know if she had heard it. "Pardon me?"

"You heard me." Lola spat at her. "You slept with mine and Tiara's boyfriends."

Evelyn shook her head. "I don't even know who your boyfriends are." She told them. "I didn't have sex with your boyfriends or anyone else."

Tiara scoffed at her. "Why would our boyfriends lie?"

"I don't know. All I know is that I didn't sleep with them. I had no idea you were even dating someone." Lola, Greta and Tiara scoffed at her. "I'm not lying..."

"We don't believe you," Greta told her and Evelyn glanced at her. "Besides, we invited you to only inform you. You've been already voted out. The club voted you out on Wednesday and we have already decided that Lily should be our new leader."

Evelyn's heart tugged. She glanced at Lily who avoided her gaze. She couldn't believe that Lily had done this. She knew that they weren't on good terms, but Lily had seen the hard work she had put in firsthand. Was there a chance that Lily believed the rumours?

She got up from her seat and slammed her hand against the desk. "I didn't have sex with your boyfriends and I don't deserve to be kicked out."

"You've already been kicked out." Greta reminded her. Evelyn bit her lip as she felt tears threaten to form in her eyes. She had built this club on her own and now, she was being kicked out of it. This wasn't fair.

"No, this isn't fair!" Evelyn exclaimed.

Lola scoffed. "It is fair.." Evelyn turned to glare at her. "And if I'm being honest, we should have expected this. We should have known that the daughter is like her mother."

When she said that, Evelyn knew that there was no point anymore. Without a word, she got her bag and left the classroom. She started to run as soon she got out. Tears started to pool in her eyes and her whole body started to shake. If this had happened a few months ago, Evelyn would have shut them up by showing them proof. She wasn't that Evelyn anymore. She didn't have the strength to do that anymore.

Evelyn had lost everything. She had no friends, no boyfriend and no club. She wasn't even the best student of her year either. She was nothing. The same friends that she had so many treasured moments with had been the ones to vote her out of the club. She had truly lost everything.

Out of a sudden, Evelyn stopped. She stopped in a deserted corridor as a thought crossed her mind. She turned her body around as she scanned the corridor. As she did, Evelyn realized that she hadn't lost everything. She had other things to look forward to. The problem was that they weren't in Hogwarts anymore. Hogwarts, who had been a second home to Evelyn had turned to a living hell in a matter of months.

She needed to stop wasting her time in Hogwarts. From now on, she needed to listen to her dad and head for Ilvermorny, the best choice for her.

Sorry for the delay in the chapter. I remember being very discouraged about this story back in July and didn't post at all. However, at this point, I don't care if I get reviews or not and I just want to post my story because I think it's a story worth telling. As for the story itself, a lot of things happened here. Some clearly untrue rumours about Evelyn have been spread around, Evelyn got kicked out of the club because of it, Remus forgave Sirius for what he did and Evelyn has decided to leave for Ilvermorny. So, yeah, a lot of shit went down. It seemed like life keeps getting messier for Evelyn.

Guest your fan: Yeah, Evelyn finally ended her abusive relationship with Rabastan. It took quite some time, but she did. Evelyn and Rabastan will definitely run into each other in the future (they are in the same school), but their interactions will be way fewer than before. The best thing for Evelyn is to keep her space from him. Remus might not have been the hero we wanted, but he was the one we deserved.
