Quinjet

In the middle of nowhere, the Quinjet flies over the ocean.

Inside: Quinjet

Steven's sitting down, holding a tablet, watching the footage of the Phantom's attack on the Army at Culver University, Wendy sitting beside him on his right, playing on her tablet.

The pilot informs them, "We're about forty minutes out from base, Sir." Agent Powers stands up from his seat and walks over to Steven and holds onto a handle on the ceiling to keep himself steady.

Steven stared at the screen, "So this Dr. Fenton was trying to replicate the serum that was used on me?"

Wendy answers him as she pauses her game and looks at him, "A lot of people were. You were the world's first superhero. Danny thought gamma radiation might hold the key to unlocking Priyanka's original formula."

Steven, still staring at the screen, "Didn't really go his way, did it?"

Agent Powers speaks up, "Not so much. When he's not that thing though, he's like Stephen Hawking." Steven looks at Agent Powers in confusion while Wendy gives him a 'really' look, knowing Steven is still catching up with the times, Agent Powers corrects and explains, "He's like a smart person. I gotta say, it's an honor to meet you, officially." Wendy smirks in amusement, knowing where this is going and continues her game. Steven smiles at him, "I sort of met you, I mean, I watched you while you were sleeping." Steven looks down, uncomfortable, Agent Powers continues to try and correct himself, "I mean, I was…" Steven stands up and walks to the front across the small jet and puts his hand on the wall and leans on it, "I was present while you were unconscious from the ice. You know, it's really, it's just a… just a huge honor to have you on board." Agent Powers does the same as Steven and stands on his left.

Steven looks forward and says quietly, "Well, I hope I'm the man for the job."

Agent Powers quickly assures him, "Oh, you are. Absolutely. Uh… we've made some modifications to the uniform. I had a little design input."

Steven looks at him confused, "The uniform? Aren't the stars and stripes a little… old fashioned?"

Before Agent Powers can answer, Wendy speaks up, "Everything that's happening," Both of them look over at her as she stands, shuts her tablet off, holding it in her left hand to her side and walks over to them and stands beside/between them, looking at Steven, "The things that are about to come to light, people might just need a little old fashioned." Steven then takes in Wendy's sentiment.

Unknown Location:

Underground Lab / Private Room

Several soldiers under Janna's mind control run around, preparing to infiltrate whatever Janna has planned. Mr. Candle working on/with a CMS device with other workers in the room, instructing them. Janna sitting down, in a private room, she closes her eyes for a moment and meditates, holding the scepter close, it shining a blue light.

Night:

Throne Room

The scepter materializes Janna back into the throne room (From Chapter 1), Janna appears fully armed in her horned helmet and armor, holding the scepter in her hand. The Other appears across from her.

The Other exclaims, "The Chitauri grow restless."

Janna tells him, "Let them grid restless. I will lead them in the glorious battle."

The Other questions her, "Battle? Against a meagre might of earth?"

Janna tells him calmly, "Glorious, not lengthy. If your force is as formidable as you claim."

The Other questions back to her, raises his voice a bit, "You question us? Question her? She who put the scepter in your hand? Who gave you ancient knowledge and a new purpose? When you were cast out, defeated!"

Janna quickly turns her head to him, snapping, "I was a queen! The rightful queen of Mewni. Betrayed."

The Other exclaims, "Your ambition is little and born of childish need. We look beyond the Earth to greater worlds, the Tesseract will unveil."

Janna tells him, "You don't have the Tesseract yet." Suddenly, The Other moves over to attack her, but stops as Janna calmly points her scepter at him, "I don't threaten. But until I open the doors, until your force is mine in command, you are but words."

The Other tells her, "You will have your war, Guardian of Mewni. If you fail, if the Tesseract is kept from us, there will be no realm, no barren moon, no crevice where she cannot find you. You think you know pain? She will make you long for something sweet as pain." The Other places her hand on Janna's head and forcibly transports her back to Earth."

Underground Private Room

Janna looks around, menacing, breathing heavily.

Day:

Helicarrier Landing Strip

The Quinjet lands down on a massive battleship known as the Helicarrier, which is a high-tech, flying aircraft carrier. It has two runways. One with direct access to a hangar at the rear is aligned along the spine of the vessel. Agent Powers, Steven and Wendy walk down the ramp, meeting up with Tulip and Tambry.

Agent Powers introduces them, "Agent Olsen. Agent Wu. Captain Universe."

Steven nods respectfully to Tulip, "Ma'am?" Already knowing Tambry, he gives her a respectful nod and she gives him a smile and nods back.

Tulip greets Steven, "Hi." Then says to Agent Powers, "They need you on the bridge. They're starting the face-trace."

Agent Powers tells Steven, "See you there." He walks away leaving Steven and Wendy with Tulip and Tambry.

As Steven, Wendy, Tulip and Tambry walk towards the railing of the ship, Tulip informs him, "It was quite the buzz around here, finding you in the ice."

Tambry cuts in amused, "I thought Agent Powers was gonna swoon."

Tulip asks, "Did he ask you to sign his Captain Universe trading cards yet?"

Steven asks confused and amused, "Trading cards?" He looks at Wendy for answers, but she just shrugs."

Tambry answers, "They're vintage. He's very proud." Without realizing, Danny and Jazz don't notice them walking as Danny is nervous as hell, with a calm Jazz standing beside him. Danny was about to move forward, but people walked in his way, making him back up.

Steven calls out, "Dr. Fenton." Steven walks up to Danny and shakes hands with him as Wendy and Jazz shake hands, Tulip and Tambry stand off to the side, a hand to their ears, listening into their ear mics.

Danny nervously rubs his hands, "Oh, yeah. Hi. They told me you'd be coming." Steven shakes hands with Jazz.

Steven tells them, "Word is you two can find the cube."

Danny asks, "Is that the only word for us?"

Steven answers, "Only word I care about."

Jazz pauses for a moment and takes in the sentiment, says to him, "Must be strange for you, all of this." She gestures around them.

Steven answers, looking around, "Well, this is actually kind of familiar."

Tambry walks over to them and interrupts, "Ladies, Gentlemen, you may wanna step inside a minute. It's gonna get a little hard to breathe."

A voice in the P.A system says, "Flight crew, secure the deck."

Suddenly, the helicarrier starts shaking.

Steven asks as both him and Danny start walking towards the edge, "Is this a submarine?"

Danny asks again, as Wendy and Jazz follow them, "Really? They wanted me in a submerged pressurized metal container?" They move closer to the edge of the Helicarrier, Tulip and Tambry stand behind them and watch their reactions in amusement as the four watch in awe as four huge lift fans mounted on the sides, start to lift into the air in vertical take off landing flight. Steven, Wendy and Jazz watch in awe as Danny smiles and comments, "No, no, this is much worse."

Inside:

Helicarrier Bridge

The doors open and Steven, Wendy, Jazz and Danny enter the Bridge of the ship as Tulip and Tambry lead them. A flurry of activity dozens of agents sit in front of their view screens, some shouting the conditions of the carrier, Agent Trigger standing in his spot near the main controls and shouts his instructions to them, "SHIELD Emergency Protocol 193.6 in effect." He turns to Rick, who is standing at the main controls, "We are at level, Sir."

Rick, standing straight, says, "Good. Let's vanish."

Agent Trigger commands them, "Engage retro-reflection panels."

Outside: Sky

The Helicarrier rises high in the air. Suddenly, the entire ship is covered in reflecting mirrors, which then camouflages in the sky.

Inside:

Helicarrier Bridge

Steven and Danny walk through the glorious, gleaming Bridge, Danny taking his position at the Science Console.

Tech agent confirms them, "Reflection panels engaged."

Rick turns around to Steven, Wendy and the Fenton siblings, "Gentlemen. Ladies." Steven takes out his wallet and gives Wendy 10 bucks, referring to his earlier statement about never being surprised again, Wendy takes it and smirks as she looks at it, then looks at Steven, who walks and stands at Rick's spot at the main controls, Agent Trigger looks over at him curiously. Wendy goes down to the lower deck part of the Bridge where the agents are working and goes to a computer and immediately starts typing to locate the Tesseract and Tambry's sister, Marcy Wu. Rick walks over to the Fenton siblings and extends his hand to Danny, who reluctantly shakes it, "Doctor, thank you for coming." He nods respectfully to Jazz in greeting, who also nods back.

Danny says to him, "Thanks for asking nicely. So, uh… how long are we staying?"

Rick answers, "Once we get our hands on the Tesseract, you're in the wind."

Jazz asks from Danny's left, "Where are you with that?" Both walking to the railing, to where Agent Powers is.

Rick turns and points to Agent Powers, who explains, "We're sweeping every wirelessly accessible camera on the planet. Cell phones, laptops. If it's connected to a satellite, it's eyes and ears for us." Tambry eyes an image of her sister on a computer screen and kneels beside Wendy on her right, still on the top deck.

Tambry points out, "That's still not gonna find them in time."

Danny tells them, takes off his suit jacket, "You have to narrow the field. How many spectrometers do you have access to?" He asks Rick.

Rick with his arms across his chest, quick to ask, "How many are there?"

Jazz instructs them, "Call every lab you know, tell them to put the spectrometers on the roof and calibrate them for gamma rays."

Danny explains, "I'll rough out a tracking algorithm for basic cluster recognition. At least we could rule out a few places. Do you have somewhere for us to work?" He points to Jazz and himself.

Rick calls out, "Agent Olsen, would you show them to their laboratory, please.

Tambry, still kneeling beside Wendy, who is focused on the computer, Tambry teases the siblings as they walk away, "You're gonna love it, Doc's."

Tulip nods and walks off, leading the Fenton siblings down the hall and adds to Tambry's tease, "We got all the toys."
