Voldemort looked at his gathered followers as he finished to explain how he had come back to life. He could see that all of them looked uncomfortable in their presence - all but Ivy Potter, the Girl-Who-Lived. She was simply glaring at him.
"Ivy Potter's mother's love has kept her safe from harm." Voldemort hissed gently as he approached the fourteen-year-old girl. "But, her blood now flow through me. It mean... I can touch her, now." Then, he brought a finger to her cheek and pressed.
Lord Voldemort had expected the young girl to suffer unimaginable pain at his touch. He was shocked when, instead, a glow of golden light erupted from where he had touched her cheek. Voldemort took a step back in horror when he realized what it was. It only happened when two soulmates had physical contact for the first ever time. From the look on Ivy Potter's face, so had she recognized it.
"HER!?/HIM!?" both shouted before both fainted, Ivy going limp in her restraints while Voldemort fell down face first on the ground. The Death Eaters looked at each other in confusion and shock. The Dark Lord and the Girl-Who-Lived were soulmates?
"What do we do?" asked one Death Eater timidly. None of them had an answer.
