Warning: there is a slight moment of torture/gore in this chapter. It is very slight and may not be noticable , but still I would like to notify about it. If you do not like either then I suggest you either quit reading this chapter or go to the bar after the boom. Otherwise enjoy the chapter!
"Tanjirou wait!" the man says, but it was too late the boy had already have gotten out of ear shot.
clasping his hands together he gets on his knees "I pray for him to have a safe trip" He says as he closes his window.
"I'm back!" Tanjirou says at the front of his home
"Brother!"
"Onii-chan!"
"Big brother!"
"Brother!"
All of his siblings say in unison coming to great there brother.
"How was the trip Tanjirou?" There mother Kie asks
"It went well! Everyone had some problems so I helped some out!" he says brightly
"how sweet of you sweety" she says. Tanjirou quickly turns around to his brothers and sisters"
"Hanako, Rokuto, Shingeru, Takeo!" Tanjirou says to them. "Ready for the story!" He says to his siblings.
"Yeah!"
"wanna join Nezuko?" he says looking back at the second oldest looking back from the bedroom.
"sure!" she says going over to join them and there story.
everyone sound asleep suddenly hear a noise. A noise loud enough to wake everyone up.
Crack"hmm?" Tanjirou hums awake. Looking around to see if the others were awake. to whick they were.
"What was that?" Hanako had asked
"I don't know" Tanjirou says. getting up he gets up and goes for the door. he smells a foul oder an oder so foul he could puke. It smelt of misery and pure evil as he gets closer to the door.

Before Tanjirou could even open the sliding doors to his home they explode open causing Tanjirou to go flying backwards into the wall and coughed out blood.
"ERK!" Tanjirou coughs put blood as he looks back up to notice a rather skinny and pale man standing in the doorway looking at him and his family
"After so many years" the man says in a sinister voice. "I'm going to enjoy every second of this" the man says. Grabbing the family he throws the against a wall. Swiftly he grabs the youngest of the family.
"Hanako!" Tanjirou screams in horror as he slowly rips each limb off the child.
"AGGGHHHH" she screams in agony as she slowly bleeds out in front of them. Tanjirou watching this quickly grabs the axe near him and swings it towards the man. Noticing this them let's go of the corpse of the young girl and swiftly punches the boy.
"ACK" Tanjirou yelps in pain, not letting this deteriorate him he gets back up and slashes at his neck. Being able to slash his neck. The pale man slashes at Tanjirou's right eye. Feeling the pain in his eye and the blood from the pale man touch it he feels a certain sting in his eye and it wasn't just it being cut open.
Covering his eye he feels a hand grab his throat.
"You look just like him" the man says. "The scar, his eyes... It discusses me" he says throwing Tanjirou to the side "I'm going to force you to watch the final moments of your family... and you're are going to suffer" The man says placing him on the wall.
So he watched. Every second. He wanted to cry, and he did. The pale man looks back at him in disgust. 'no remorse' Tanjirou thought as the man picked up his last sibling.
"Lests have more fun shall we?" He says, a tentacle like spinal cord comes out of his back. "What would happen if your sister becomes what I am... A demon!" Stabbing Nezuko as he said sister. Rendering her unconscious he drops her and walks over to the boy.
"remember this name when you die" he says crouching down to Tanjirou's height "Muzan
Kibutsuji" He stands back up, and leaves the building as Tanjirou goes unconscious.
"hnnnng" Tanjirou groans as he wakes up feeling unfamiliar. 'Where is he?' he thought looking around the house.
"You're home Tanjirou" an unfamiliar voice says to the boy. Looking around he sees a woman.
"W-who are you?" he says anxiously standing up.
"oh how could you forget mother!" Another voice says sounding more child like. looking around he sees a young girl.
"Mother?" Tanjirou says confused
"Yes Tanjirou I am your mother don't you remember?" She says smiling.
"Onii-chan! do you remember us?" a young boy says to him.
"I'm Rokuto!" the boy says
"I'm Hanako!" a girl says
"I'm Shingeru!" the other boy says
"And I'm Takeo!" the final boy says
looking at them like insane people. The 4 children groaning go up to Tanjirou and gives him a hug. His supposed mother joins in too.
"Come on Tanjirou" his mother said "remember" and all of a sudden memories came flashing at him. Memories that he had somehow forgotten. Wanting to cry he buries his head into his mother shouldn't and let's it all out. Constantly saying I'm sorry to his family and that he has failed them.
"Don't worry Tanjirou" his mother had said "It's okay, it's okay... It wasn't your fault... Protect Nezuko for us okay?" she says before disappearing out of thin air. Looking around he feels wait on his legs. Looking down he sees Nezuko. Recognizing her he notices something strange... For some reason he could see her brain, organs, and veins going through her. Covering his right eye all of it disappears and is met with the beautiful face of her sister. Checking her temperature she feels warm. Hugging her tightly he looks around and finally notices the corpses of his family. Propping Nezuko up against the wall he goes up them suddenly he has a strange urge. An urge to eat. He hadn't realized it, but he had been drooling near his families corpses. Realizing this he wipes off the drool and feels disgusted of himself.
"what's wrong with me?" he simply says aloud. Standing up he goes over to find a medical kit that they had placed in a box. Grabbing the kit and taking a few bandages he wraps them around his right eye "to not see those... Things for a while" he says aloud once again. Bringing the kit with him, he sees Nezuko suddenly stir in her sleep. "Nezuko?" He asks to her sister to which she replies with a
"GYAAAA" Nezuko growls at him as she slowly steps to him. Seeing her in a predatory stance he grabs the axe on the floor next to him.
"Nezuko..." He says holding the axe in hand.
"RAAAAAA!' She screams as she leaps towards Tanjirou. Tanjirou puts the axe between her and him. Thumping to the floor Nezuko keeps on knowing at the wood of the axe and stares at him with the intent to kill.
"Nezuko!" Tanjirou screams "I'm sorry I couldn't protect you... I'm sorry I couldn't save you!" He says crying. "Please Nezuko fight it!" he says "I believe in you!" He says closing his eyes and continues to cry.
He feels a pair of wet droplets hit his face, opening his eyes he sees Nezuko crying before she slowly loosens her bite on the axe.
"Nezuko?" He says trying to get an answer from her. To which he gets her to tilt her head. "can you speak?" he asks wanting to see if she could, but sadly only growls and grumbles came from the girl causing her to fluster up a bit. chuckling Tanjirou pats her head "don't worry I'm sure you'll be able to speak soon. Looking back at the bodies of his family he knows what he must do.
Digging the dirt outside of his house under a tree big enough to cover the whole grave and with the assistance of his sister they successfully dig up a wide enough hole for his family members. It was difficult putting the bodies of his family members in the grave. He continued to drool at the sight of the bodies, but tries to put that aside.
Covering the bodies with dirt and smoothing it out Tanjirou clasps his hands together and starts to pray, Nezuko follows and does the same actions.
"Okay Nezuko" Tanjirou says hiding a medical kit.
"Do you have any injuries?" Nezuko shakes her head 'no'
"huh weird, demons must regenerate then" he says looking back to where he has gotten injured during the encounter with Muzan he notices that they have indeed healed back. "Wow! That's so cool!" he says happily. "Nezuko! Make sure to grab somethings we're going to leave and... Go somewhere" he says. He doesn't where to go, his only hope is to just walk aimlessly or find shelter from everyone else because he himself doesn't know how long he can resist the urge.
Putting that thought away he walks over to the laying axe on the ground. "This may be useful" he says to himself. Grabbing other things like food or more medical supplies from other cabinets he gathers them up and put it in a basket.
"Nezuko you ready!" He shouts to the girl.
"Mmmm!" she hums walking over to Tanjirou with some yearn and a needle.
"oh your bringing your knitting kit?" He says to her. She shakes her head yes in response and puts it in the basket. "alright ready to go?" he says
"Hmm!" She says happily.
Walking through the entrance of the building they leave.
