Foreword:

All vehicles are autonomous, with humanoid crew acting as support or passengers.

Naval Force:

DX (Dreadnought)

A Capital ship surpassing any other, its role of dispensing mass firepower and absorbing heavy punishment makes it suitable for spearheading large naval battles, their construction process requires massive resources and an effort of around 8-10 years, but in exchange the Spacey gets a truly terrifying warship in its arsenal.

CVN (Fleet Carrier)

The mainstay of UMSV Naval Doctrine, with each carrying about 120 aircraft of all types for offensive and defensive operations, these ships are vital assets in safeguarding border regions from hostile encroachment, their deployment necessitates an escort of several smaller ships.

CVL (Light Carrier)

Unlike its ship-of-the-line counterpart, the Light Carrier is smaller and can operate more independently in small flotillas despite only carrying a compliment of 50-70 aircraft, they are usually used as a screening force to defend non-carrier ships from small craft attack.

CVE (Escort Carrier)

These ships escort convoys or reinforce the air power compliment of a carrier strike force, they operate close to frontlines patrolling for enemy vessels and protect recently acquired territory

CVMS (Mobile Suit Carrier)

As the name suggests, these ships carry large Zero-G mobility suits into space combat equipped with beam weapons reversed-engineered from Mobile Suit Timelines, their main purpose is to counter any opposing mecha suits in space or achieve superiority in the battle zone, and can even deploy them to a planet's surface if an Assault ship is unavailable

BB (Battleship)

The pride of the fleet, the Battleship is essential in fighting pitched battles against other capital ships, its design reflects the 360-degree combat zone with large guns all over its superstructure.

BBF (Fast Battleship)

A variant of the Battleship, it has weaker armor but in exchange has faster speed, able to brawl with capital ships similar to the BB-Class, these ships however are beginning to be phased out as Battleships are given more powerful and faster engines relegating a whole system for this class irrelevant.

BC (Battlecruiser)

Just like the Fast Battleship, the Battlecruiser fills a role similar to its blue-water counterpart, outrunning and outgunning older capital ships, but with Battleships largely filling the role as heavy hitters and cruisers able to fill their role, the Battlecruisers are in a state of limbo between either an independent class of ships or to be absorbed into the Cruiser-class system.

CB (Standard Cruiser)

A ship fulfilling the role of 'heavily-armed, but fast.' This type of vessel has several objectives such as Capital escort, Patrol, and Rapid Response. They are almost as numerous as destroyers, since the UMSV needs a flexible ship capable of dealing heavy punishment but also rapid re-deployment to another area on short notice

CA (Heavy Cruiser)

More armed and armored, these ships can subsidize Battleships if absent, used for early engagements until heavier warships can arrive on the scene to deal with the enemy, they can independently operate if given a carrier and destroyer escort.

CL (Light Cruiser)

Less armored, less armed. CLs are primarily for anti-air defense since their main weapons are less capable than regular CCs or CAs, their contribution is crucial as they are the ones acting as the final defense before enemy craft have their crosshairs on the vulnerable carriers.

CM (Missile Cruiser)

In place of turret mounts are long-range ballistic missiles carrying heavy payloads capable of destroying entire enemy fleets or saturating a planet's surface, their presence requires heavy escort due its armaments being stripped in order to fit more VLS tubes.

DD (Destroyer)

The primary anti-aircraft and supporting attack ship, destroyers are made for fleet defense or independent operations, making them suitable for the most mass-produced type of ship for prolonged operations.

DDM (Missile Destroyer)

In place of several cannons are missile launchers which can fire a large volley of missiles, perfect for saturation attacks on enemy fleets using hit-and-run tactics, these ships

DDE (Escort Destroyer)

This Class of ship mainly escorts unarmed cargo vessels due to fear of piracy even though there are none, they have been deployed in great numbers but are less capable when in a Fleet due to armaments, since their purpose is rear-guard duty during a battle.

FF (Frigate)

These vessels are relegated to long-distance patrol duties in a particular sectors, but also act as auxiliary for capital ships similar to destroyers.

MS (Minesweeper)

Minesweepers defuse or deploy magnetic minefields to deny the enemy a strategic or tactical advantage, giving its Fleet ample time to strategize and destroy the enemy.

AL (Arsenal Ship)

A ship made for saturation and saturation only, they carry a vast amount of missiles with different warheads able to unleash a barrage of armageddon into an unexpected enemy fleet, their main drawback however are the missiles themselves as the enemy could intercept them if they have a powerful interception system.

AS (Assault Ship)

Capable of rapidly deploying troops onto a planet's surface, these ships are escorted by dozens of other warships as they are the most vulnerable and crucial in any planetary invasion.

SS (Supply/Support Ship)

Auxiliary vessels carrying spare parts, ammunition, or extra manpower, these ships are responsible for maintaining strategic operations when a Fleet Yard is unavailable or cannot accommodate immense formations.

PT (Patrol Boat)

Short-ranged patrol craft guarding the surrounding area of orbital fortresses or Large Fleet Yards where entire Armadas are exposed to attack, they are the first and last line of defense in any enemy assault on a base.

High-Manueverability Mobile Suit (HMMS):

HMMS are large 18 meter tall robots used for the purpose of construction operations or conflict, the derivative model is the Px-01 GANT (Totally Not A Gundam) acting as the basis for all successor types which improve or completely deviate from the first variant. Classification of GANT suits as follows:

Example 1008

Although not classified as a variant, it was an intact example retrieved by salvage probes following a zero-gravity battle between two opposing forces in the Omega Sector of the Frontier. Inspected by the NIA, the machine contained a pilot who was then interrogated using truth serum before being terminated after all necessary info was extracted. All information from the pilot and the machine itself were later handed over to the DRD for reverse-engineering.

PX-01

A modified copy of Example 1008, it was produced in limited numbers and tested in the Orion sector where the VAF had been fighting humanoids with access to thaumaturgy and technomancy, the introduction of the GANT produced desirable results after several planets had fallen using infiltration tactics by the Px-01. Total victory was achieved in several months while before it was predicted that the thaumaturgical species would only fall after a decade. Several weaknesses were identified with the Px-01 which would be solved after the introduction of the Px-02

PX-02

After the experience gained by the 01, the 02 was designed to fix several issues from the 01 design, mainly slow reaction speed, poor maneuverability, and susceptibility to EMP discharges. Including an increase of protection and a series of new weapons carried by the design, several fleet carriers were converted into Mobile Suit carriers.

PX-03A

The third design of the HMMSs, it sacrifices reaction speed for heavier armament and protection, capable of absorbing heavy blows which would neutralize or destroy any other suit

PX-03B

Operating alongside its 'A' Variant counterpart, the 03B is the main HMMS in service with the VAF, capable of carrying multiple weapons and flexible enough to be deployed in numerous combat zone environments.

VX-40

Following the proposal by Agent Blue to Agent Silver and Agent Red, who was described as being "excited" after the successful deployments of the PX-01s, the "Neo-Gundam" project was initiated with the purpose of "Combating opponents who are in possession of Mobile Suits with the fighting strength comparable to an armada of first-rate warships". The Project resulted in the creation of the VX-40, the design based on Mobile Suits from the fictional Earth Federation archived in the library (Human internet).
