Chapter Three

It is the day of the exams, everyone who was participating in the exams stood at the center of the stadium.

The proctor of the exam took out the senbon in his mouth, "alright everyone who isn't participating in this round go to the stands please" he said authoritative.

Doing as told the contestants went into their respective stands, with the leaf Genin when they arrived they met Karin, Choji, Sakura, Ino, Kiba (Akamaru too), Lee, Hinata, and Ten Ten.

Everyone greeted each other and looked back at the stadium floor to only see Neji, "Hey Karin! is Naruto going to be here?" asked Sakura which made the Genin listen.

Karin looked hesitant, "I don't know, Naruto told me he would be gone until the exams after two days after meeting his new sensei" she said a little disappointed.

The group blinked, "who was his Sensei?" asked the very curious Shikamaru. She just shrugged, "the man called himself Jiraiya the toad sage or something" she said not sure.

Those who knew that name eyes became wide, 'HE GOT THE LEGENDARY SANNIN TO BECOME HIS SENSEI!!!!' shouted the Genin in their minds.

With the proctor who became impatient, "Naruto has one more minu-" he was cut off as soon as a poof of smoke appeared.

The smoke cleared to show a taller than usual figure on top of a toad, the person had long cheese blonde hair with bangs framing his face, he wore navy blue shinobi pants, brown shinobi boots with the toe cover off, a fishnet shirt, and a white jacket that had black stripes coming from the hands through the shoulders and ending at the collar. (basically Genin Minato)

There was total silence in the stadium, "I hope I wasn't late" he said rubbing the back of his head. With the Hokage who was watching eyes became large, 'MINATO!!! WAIT IT'S NARUTO!!!' he thought in panic.

While the Hokage was in turmoil the Kazekage next to him got curious, 'oh? I didn't know Namikaze had a child' he thought very curiously but stopped.

Karin who saw the boy blushed including at least half the girls in the stadium did the same, 'holy crap' they all thought with hearts in their eyes.

The proctor who looked at the boy in shock calmed himself down, 'it looks like lord fourth had a child... I wonder what he would do if he found out how people ignored his son's existence' he finished the thought with a shudder.

Coughing he turned to the two contestants, "you were about to but either way lets start" he said authoritative. The contestants quickly got into Taijutsu stances, the two were staring each other down until a leaf hitting the ground started the match.

Neji quickly rushed at Naruto but him knowing he would be at a disadvantage in Taijutsu so he quickly backed up far away, doing a hand seal quickly he shouted out "Shadow Clone Jutsu!!".

Creating four clones the five surrounded the Hyuga, said boy looked at them cautiously until what they all said made his eyes go wide.

"Water Style: Water Bullet", "Earth Style: Earth spear", "Lightning Style: Spiderweb", "Fire Style: Great Fireball Jutsu", "Wind Style: Air Bullet" Shouted the blondes at once.

Neji saw the attacks coming and could only do one thing, spinning very quickly he shouted "Kaiten" as the attacks hit him it created a smoke screen. Everyone who was Chunin level and above became wide eyed at him, 'HE WAS ABLE TO PERFORM ALL ELEMENTAL JUTSU'S AND THEY WERE STRONG!!!!' they all thought surprised.

Naruto and his clones stared at the smoke until it disappeared, Neji appeared while giving a smirk. He looked at Naruto with a new smug look, "as I said yesterday; 'your fate is to lose to me', you might as well give up since that is our Hyuga absolute defense" he said with the same smug look.

Naruto looked indifferent, "we'll see about that" he said emotionless. All the Naruto's put their right hand out, pulling chakra to a single point on their palm it created a spinning ball of chakra.

In the stands the Jonin's were in shock at once again seeing the fourth Hokage's Jutsu, Hiruzen who was watching became wide eyed while the Kazekage next to him became more interested.

With the two they were waiting until it started raining, the Naruto's jumped into the air and shouted on the top of their lungs "RASENGAN!!!".

As soon as the group were on him Neji quickly created a Kaiten, the Rasengans hit the Kaiten with full force. It was a total stalemate until the opposite rotation of each Jutsu cancelled each other out, jumping back from the Hyuga Naruto gained an idea.

Taking the water from the falling sky he made a sequence of hand seals quickly until he shouted "WATER STYLE: WATER DRAGON JUTSU!!!".

A water dragon the size of an elephant came out of the blonds mouth and raced towards the Genin, Neji panicked at the size of the water dragon and froze in fear.

Seeing the fear in the Genin's eyes the proctor quickly grabbed him and went to safety, "NARUTO UZUMAKI WINS!!!" he shouted after taking a breath.

Everyone who saw the fight had eyes the size of sausers untilthey started clapping, "h-how d-did he g-get t-that s-strong in s-such a s-short t-time??" asked the stuttering Kiba which got everyone to nod in agreement.

Shikamaru frowned, "Naruto might have always been strong... has Naruto been acting strange Sakura?" asked the pineapple haired preteen.

Sakura frowned but nodded slowly, "in the forest of death he disappeared for a while until he returned with no whiskers, he said they were just painted on then after that he explained that he saved the red head here. He even complimented her" she said biting her lower lip.

"well at least we know he isn't exactly into flat chested girls now, so we can rule him out from being a lolicon now" he muttered that out at the end. no offense to Sakura fans, just wanted something funny there)

Everyone who heard it started to laugh but Sakura was angry, narrowing her eyes she hit him on the head. He rubbed his head in pain, "okay then... Karin is it? what was Naruto like when you met him?" he asked politely.

She shrugged her shoulders, "I was being attacked by a bear when he called out that Rasengan Jutsu and killed it, he then complimented my hair. After that we talked which eventually got him to get the Hokage to let me live here, from my interactions with him I can say he is pretty smart in doing things other than relationships" she said at the end a little depressed. (Don't get me wrong, Naruto is still dense) Everyone narrowed their eyes in contemplation including the Hyuga girl, 'I won't lose to you' thought the blue-haired girl with an invisible fire in her eyes.

Shikamaru frowned, "either he was always smart or something happened before he met Karin" he said with certainty. Everyone agreed on either, they were about to speak more about him when the subject of their conversation walked towards them.

They all calmed down and started showering him in praise, Naruto blushed at the praise Karin gave him which was a hug. He cleared his throat after getting calm, "so what were you all talking about before I got here?" he asked very curiously.

No body spoke until Shikamaru started in bluntness, "we were wondering when you got smart and strong". Naruto blinked but then shrugged, "I was always smart thank you very much, with getting strong it was because I got trained by pervy sage" he said which made them all look at him questionably.

He sighed, "troublesome I mean the toad sage Jiraiya" everyone who heard the Nara line became wide eyed since it came from a hyperactive person.

Ino who hasn't spoken looked at Naruto, "a-are you part Nara?" she asked uncertainly which made everyone pay attention. he shook his head, "maybe my dad was, but I do know my mom was one of the few last Uzumaki's left in the world" he said with a half truth.

Shino who was quiet became interested, "one of the few Uzumaki left?" he asked curiously which some heard. He nodded, "Karin and my clan used to be as powerful as the Uchiha's and their cousins the Senju, Uzumaki's usually have red hair, a childish behavior, and two kekei genkai. The first one is guaranteed which would let us have as a Kage and had a higher life expectancy too which could let you have others bite you to regain chakra and heal. The other one was the ability to subdue any of the tailed beasts with chains made of our chakra" he finished breathlessly.

Everyone was shocked including Karin who found out how her ability worked, "oh it's Shikamaru's turn now!" said the excited blonde trying to change the subject.

Shikamaru furrowed his eyes at the blonde, after a moment until he left. Naruto sighed, 'ah I hate explaining things so troublesome... maybe dad had some Nara blood in him' he thought with some tiredness.
