The two warriors flew down, and landed on the ground.

"Hey! Goku!", called out Krillin as he waved towards the spikey haired warrior.

They saw Kakarot stop his training session.

He turned around, and he happily said, "Yo! How's it going?"

Krillin smiled, "We're doing good!"

Kakarot exclaimed, "That's good to hear!"

Krillin then asked, "What are you training for?"

"Nothing! Just wanted to get some exercise!"

He floated over to Krillin and Kadar, and landed in front of them.

"So what are you guys doing here?", asked the orange clad warrior.

Krillin replied, "I just wanted to hang out. We...we kinda haven't done that in a while. Or, more accurately, a year."

He let out an awkward chuckle, and rubbed the back of his head.

"I came along with him.", added Kadar, who folded her arms.

"Sorry for the unexpected visit.", apologized Krillin.

Kakarot shrugged, "Nah, it's cool. We can just chat inside. Chi-Chi's cooking up lunch right now!"

Krillin grinned, "Awesome!"

Kadar's eyes widened, "Wait, for real?"

Kakarot happily replied, "Yeah! Come on in!"

He walked towards the cottage, and both Krillin and Kadar followed him.

Kakarot opened the door, and let the two warriors inside.

As Kadar went into the living room, her nose picked up a variety of wonderful scents. They were the scents of steamy vegetables, meat, as well as...as well as an additional scent of chicken-flavored broth.

Could it be? Her favorite food? Ramen?!

Kadar's mouth was starting to water just thinking about it!

Kakarot exclaimed, "Chi-Chi! We have two guests with us!"

A female voice called out from the kitchen, "I'll be right there!"

Kadar then saw a black haired woman enter the room. The woman named Chi-Chi was holding a wooden spoon, and looked as if she just finished cooking.

Chi-Chi smiled, "Hello there, Krillin! How are you—"

Her smile instantly faded upon seeing Kadar standing next to the bald warrior.

"Oh. It's you again...", said the woman in a cold tone of voice.

Kadar placed a hand on her hip, "Uhh...yeah? What do you want?"

An awkward silence fell over the room, and it was making both Kakarot and Krillin uncomfortable.

"Goku, why is this Saiyan in our house?", calmly asked Chi-Chi.

Kakarot nervously replied, "U-Um, Chi-Chi—"

"I know that you recently had a sparring match with her...but you do realize that this Saiyan, as well as those other Saiyans, brutally murdered our friends, right?"

"Yes, but-"

"And you do realize she's essentially the reason my little Gohan was taken from me, right?"

At that moment, the wooden spoon that Chi-Chi was holding snapped in two, making Kakarot flinch.

"Y-Yes, I know, but...Chi-Chi-"

"THEN WHY IS SHE HERE? IN OUR HOUSE?!"

Kakarot fearfully gulped and replied, "I...I thought it wouldn't be so bad to bring her here. I mean, she hasn't attacked anyone in the past month—"

"BUT WHAT IF SHE'S PLANNING SOMETHING WORSE?!"

"I...um...I don't think-"

At that moment, Kadar cleared her throat, making everyone turn their attention to her.

"Kakarot's right. I haven't attacked anyone in the past month, and I certainly am not planning anything. I just want to relax today. No fighting, no ki attacks."

Chi-Chi's eyes narrowed at the female Saiyan, "Are you serious about this? Or are you really just fibbing? Or pulling off some sort of alien mind control so that I don't interfere with your plan?"

Kadar scoffed, and glared at the woman, "Does it LOOK like I'm capable of freakin' telepathy?!"

Chi-Chi snapped back, "Well, you could be! I don't know!"

Krillin then spoke up, "Chi-Chi, please...just give her a chance, okay?"

The woman angrily questioned, "Why should I?!"

The bald man let out a sigh, and replied, "Recently, Kadar opened up about her internal issues, to both myself and Goku. What I've learned from her..."

He briefly looked back at Kadar, as if to ask for permission on what he was going to say next. Kadar nodded, allowing him to proceed.

Krillin resumed, "...is that she doesn't really know what she wants out of her new life here. We could finally get the chance to turn things around for us, and actually help her turn over a new leaf!"

Chi-Chi hesitated, but after thinking it over for a brief moment, she relented.

Letting out a defeated sigh, she told Kadar, "Fine. I guess you're our...'guest'...for today."

The woman looked back at both Krillin and Kakarot, "Just don't come cryin' to me when this Saiyan changes her mind, and ends up blowing up the planet!"

Chi-Chi turned around, and went back into the kitchen, angrily grumbling under her breath. She came out a few seconds later, holding a large metallic tray of three bowls filled with steaming hot ramen (a pair of chopsticks were also featured in each bowl.)

The black-haired woman gently placed the tray on the table, and placed each bowl on various sides of the table.

Kadar thought, "Finally..."

She and the other two warriors sat down next to their respective bowls. Krillin and Kakarot sat on opposite sides of the table, while Kadar sat in the middle.

They all grabbed their respective chopsticks, and began eating.

As Kadar ate hers, her eyes widened with shock, "HOLY CRAP! THIS IS AMAZING, KAKAROT!"

Kakarot chuckled, "Yep! Chi-Chi's an excellent master at some awesome cooking!"

"You're darn right I am.", smirked Chi-Chi, who folded her arms in a confident manner.

Krillin swallowed a bit of his food, and asked, "Hey, uh, Chi-Chi, I was wondering...where's Gohan?"

Chi-Chi turned to Krillin and stated, "Out in the nearby woods, training with Piccolo. Those last two bowls were intended for Gohan and I, but then you two showed up, so I just decided to improvise."

Krillin raised an eyebrow, "Out in the woods? That doesn't seem like a place Piccolo would train."

Chi-Chi explained, "Well, I had a long, lengthy conversation with the big green fellow about what to do about Gohan's future, and we came to a compromise that he could train him in the woods near me, for a hour every day. But, if he pulls off something like he did a year ago..."

Various veins sprouted all over her forehead, and she grinned, "He will face my wrath."

Krillin and Kakarot shivered with fright, while Kadar merely chuckled in response.

"Wow. What a wife you have, Kakarot...", thought Kadar as she shook her head, and continued eating.

Chi-Chi's face returned to normal, and she stated, "Now then, I'm going to make some rice for myself, and for Gohan. If you three need anything else, let me know."

She walked back into the kitchen once more.

Kakarot then spoke up, "Y'know Kadar, despite how things went down yesterday, I'm still impressed by your combat prowess. Your month-long training definitely paid off."

Kadar grinned, "Of course it did! Like I said before, I constantly trained myself for that fight!"

Kakarot nodded and said, "Yeah, you were a really determined fighter. That Nappa guy must have taught you a lot of stuff."

Kadar smiled proudly, "I learned from the best. He taught me the most valuable methods of combat."

"I'm here.", said Chi-Chi, who was coming back into the room, holding a bowl of rice in her hands, "What are you guys talking about?"

Krillin replied, "We were just chatting about fight related stuff."

Chi-Chi nodded, and sat down near her husband. She quickly pulled out a pair of chopsticks that were placed in the rice, and began eating afterwards.

"Y'know, speaking of Nappa...what was your relationship with that big guy like?", inquired Kakarot.

Kadar questioned, "Why do you wanna know?"

Kakarot replied, "I remember you saying that he was your guardian. I'm still wondering what that meant..."

Kadar sighed, "Okay. It means that he protected me, Raditz, and Vegeta, from all sorts of danger. But I personally grew to see him as an...an older brother."

Chi-Chi scoffed, "You saw that big monster as a brother?! Yeesh!"

Kadar sent a sharp glare at the woman, "He was more than a monster, y'know..."

"Whatever you say.", said Chi-Chi, as she took another bite of her rice.

Kadar let out another deep sigh, and turned back to Kakarot, "Can we just move on from that question? I kinda don't feel comfortable talking about the full story yet..."

Kakarot nodded, "I understand."

Kadar then asked him, "Now, what I wanna know is this: how did you get so much stronger? I mean, back when you fought Nappa?

"Well, I got a lot stronger by training with this big blue person named King Kai.", explained Kakarot, "He taught me a bunch of new stuff, like the Kaio-Ken technique, and the Spirit Bomb-"

"You mean the big energy ball that almost took out Vegeta?"

"Yep."

Krillin smiled, "Although, I had to throw it over myself."

Kadar gasped and exclaimed, "You were responsible for that?!"

Krillin replied, "Yeah. Goku's body was paralyzed by that point."

Kadar smirked, "Dang. I'm even more impressed."

Krillin rubbed his arm in a bashful manner, "Thanks. It was kinda—wait, what do you mean 'even more impressed'?"

Kadar's eyes widened upon realizing what she just said.

She stammered, "Uh...I...I meant to say, 'extremely impressed'! Y-Yeah! Extremely impressed that you successfully attacked Vegeta! Yep!"

The Saiyan rapidly ate the rest of her ramen, all the while blushing in embarrassment.

She also noticed Chi-Chi chuckle to herself.

"Oh, great. Now she's laughing at me...", thought Kadar.

Krillin turned to Kakarot and asked, "So, how's readjusting to normal home life been for you?"

"Oh, it's been alright.", replied Kakarot, "I haven't really done anything else, other than a little training. Although I do plan on taking Gohan out for a little fishing trip."

Krillin smiled, "Aw, cool! You're keeping your promise from a month ago?"

Kakarot happily nodded, "Yeah! After all we've been through, he deserves it."

Krillin chuckled and said, "Nice!"

Kakarot nodded and folded his arms behind his head, "Y'know, it kind of feels good that there hasn't been any big threat to Earth ever since we defeated most of the Saiyans. No offense, Kadar."

Kadar shrugged, "None taken."

Chi-Chi spoke up, "Oh! Don't forget what you have scheduled for next week, Goku."

Kakarot's eyes widened in realization.

Unfolding his arms, he said, "Oh, yeah. That's right..."

Krillin asked, "What is it?"

"My Goku's officially getting a job!", proudly stated Chi-Chi.

The bald man exclaimed, "WAIT?! FOR REAL?!"

Kakarot replied, "Mmhmm. Chi-Chi recently signed me up to be a radish farmer. I start next Monday."

Chi-Chi added, "I figured that it was time for him to finally get a job, especially seeing how the world isn't being threatened right now."

Krillin awkwardly said, "Well, I guess...um...good luck on your new job, Goku."

Kakarot nodded, "Th-Thanks..."

The group (minus Kadar) then proceeded to finish their meals.

Afterwards, Krillin and Kadar decided to leave. They bid their respective farewells to both Kakarot and Chi-Chi, and the two walked away from the household. They flew out of Mount Paozu, and took off into the sky.

Author's Note:

Hey guys. It's me, Story Nado.

First off, I just wanted to apologize for not posting a chapter in over a month.

There were two reasons for this: One, I had to finish my spring semester for college, and I really wanted to focus on finishing that semester.

Two...on my downtime, I was also working on the first chapter of a new DB fanfiction. This is a reboot of my very first DB fic, and it focuses on two very special OCs of mine. The aforementioned first chapter is almost finished, and will be released soon. I'm not going to say anything more ;).

Again, I want to apologize for taking so long.

So I guess I'll see you all next week! Take care!
